Use Adobe Acrobat Pro

Step 1: Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Step 2: Click on ‘File’ and select Reduce File Size or Compress PDF.

Step 3: Select the location where you want to save the file and hit save. 

Use the Adobe Acrobat online compressor

Step 1: Go to the official Adobe website.

Step 2: Click on ‘PDF & E-signatures’ and select ‘Online tools’.

Step 3: Scroll down and select ‘Compress PDF’.

Step 4: Click on ‘Select a file’ and upload the PDF file you want to compress.

Step 5: Once the file is uploaded, select the compression level. For the smallest file size, select ‘High compression’ and click on ‘Compress’.

Step 6: Your PDF will be compressed with its file size now reduced. Click on ‘Download’ to save the compressed PDF.

Use Small PDF to reduce PDF file size

Step 1: Go to www.smallpdf.com/compress-pdf.

Step 2: Drop the PDF file in the red box or select a PDF from the file viewer.

Step 3: Once the file is uploaded, select the compression level. For the smallest file size, select ‘Strong compression’ and click on ‘Compress’. This will require signing in from your Google Account. If you want to compress your PDF without signing up, select ‘Basic compression’.

Step 4: Your PDF will be compressed and its file size will be reduced. Click on ‘Download’ to save the compressed PDF on your device.
