Chrome books are getting popular and are known as entry-level laptops. They run on a lightweight OS i.e Chrome OS, which does not require a lot of RAM or processing power. The operating system feels just like running Android over a laptop with some tweaks. It is a fact there are many users that prefer iPhones as their smartphone choice. How to do itunes login on Chromebook is the question.
With two distinct ecosystems, users will run into incompatibility for running applications. Google has always thought about its users and gave them options and the same goes for this case as well. Want to run iTunes on your Chromebook? Here is how you can do it.
Install iTunes on Chromebook
Google has provided Linux as a beta option for all Chromebooks. Linux can be used to run and install many Windows 11 related applications. Here is how you can make it run for iTunes.
Step 1 – In your Chrome book, head to Settings and then go under the Advanced tab.
Step 2 – Select Developers options from the tab to see the Linux option.
Step 3 – Tap on Turn on to start Linux
The process will take a little time and after that, the Chromebook will ask you to set up Linux.

After you complete setting up, follow the next steps.
Step 4 – Download a 32-bit version of iTunes from the official Apple website.
(make sure to choose 32-bit only as the 64-bit version can misbehave and make your laptop screen go black.)
Step 5 – Rename the file to something simple for command execution. We named the file iTunes.exe as an example here.
Step 6 – Open the Linux terminal and input the following command line
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=/home/username/.wine32 winecfg
Note – Replace the username with the name assigned to your Chromebook.
Step 7 – Press ok and input the below command to start installing iTunes.
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=/home/username/.wine32/ wine itunes.exe
Note – Again, change the username to the name given to the Chromebook. Also, if the .exe file saved for iTunes is of a different name, change that as well.
Step 8 – Complete the setup.
After completing the setup and following the instructions properly you will be able to see iTunes running on Linux on your Chromebook device.
