Today, the homegrown company, Lava Mobiles, announced the launch of its latest smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced the Lava Z2 Max smartphone which is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery. In addition to this, it comes with a huge 7-inches display. All this is under Rs 10,000. This big screen and longer battery life will serve the purpose of e-learning for the students during the ongoing pandemic.
Mr Tejinder Singh, Product Head, Lava International says, “Students are the future of our country, and because of the unfortunate pandemic, there was a huge disruption in the education sector, and students were suddenly dependent on their parents’ devices for education. With Z2 Max, we at Lava are trying to ensure each student gets proper education and contributes to the growth of the nation in future. Moreover, online education is here to stay and will be an integral part of the education system in India. Students have started shifting to digital learning, which allows them to make it more personalized as well as interactive, and helps them understand better.”

The Lava Z2 Max has been launched with a price tag of Rs 7,799 for the single 2GB RAM with 32GB storage options. The device will be available in two colour options of Stroked Blue and Stroked Cyan. This smartphone can be purchased via e-commerce websites Flipkart and Amazon in the country.

Lava Z2 Max smartphone comes with a 7-inch HD+ IPS water-drop notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device offers a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 1,640×720 pixels of resolution and 258ppi. The smartphone runs Stock Android 10 Go and is powered by a MediaTek Helio processor paired with 2 GB DDR4X RAM and 32GB storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
On the back of the phone, there is a dual camera set up that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens with LED Flash. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with screen Flash. The rear camera supports HD recording at 720p and it includes various camera modes such as Beauty Mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode and Bokeh Mode.
The device is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery that is touted to offer 14 hours of standby time when data off and 9 hours of YouTube playback time. There is 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, GPRS, Bluetooth V 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on the connectivity front. The sensors onboard include Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor and face unlock.
