Samsung unveiled the ‘Good Sleep’ mode, which adjusts the temperature of the room based on the stages of sleep. With the help of this feature, users may pair their Galaxy Watch series with air conditioners and have the mode turn on automatically when they go to sleep. Based on the  sleep cycle, REM, and NREM phases of the sleep cycle, the mode modifies the temperature within the living space. Throughout the night, the mode constantly adjusts the temperature. Users of the Galaxy Watch series can connect their air conditioners to this mode, which will turn on automatically when they go to sleep. Given that many people wake up in the middle of the night feeling cold or sweaty, the impact of ambient temperature on sleep is significant. With this mode, Samsung hopes to enhance the quality of sleep at night. Over the course of a person’s five-stage sleep cycle—which includes three stages of NREM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement Sleep), REM (Rapid Eye Movement), and wake—the ‘Good Sleep’ mode modifies the temperature inside the room. Body temperature, eye movements, and brain wave patterns change with each stage. The cycle usually lasts approximately 90 minutes and repeats four to six times during the night. The ideal temperature for sleep varies depending on the stage of sleep. The ‘Good Sleep’ cycle adjusts the temperature of the room according to the stages of sleep. After five minutes of falling asleep, the temperature drops, and after ninety minutes, it rises to promote deeper sleep. The air conditioner then raises the temperature to get ready for the N2 and N3 stages, which call for warmer outside temperatures because this is when blood pressure and body temperature decrease the most. To avoid the feeling of being cold, the temperature is raised by two degrees. The cycle alternates between deeper NREM sleep and lighter REM sleep. Three temperature adjustments are made during the course of the night. The temperature is kept high at the end of sleep, but there is a light wind. The company insists that Siri processes data on the device to preserve consumer privacy. Users have control over their audio data and can choose whether or not to share it for improvement. Following concerns about data sharing with third parties, Apple has said that it is committed to keeping Siri private. The tech giant has released a statement which says, “Apple has never used Siri data to build marketing profiles, never made it available for advertising, and never sold it to anyone for any purpose. Today Xiaomi and Oppo will launch their new smartphones in the Indian market. Poco X7 Series and Oppo Reno 13 Series are all set to debut in the country. Here is what to expect from the upcoming smartphone series.

Poco X7 series

Poco X7 series is scheduled to launch in India today. The launch event will begin at 5.30 PM. The company is likely to launch two devices: Poco X7 Pro and the regular Poco X7. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart in the country.
The Poco X7 might have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. The screen may be compatible with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, HDR10+, and TÜV Rheinland eye care certification. A 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED screen with a touch sampling rate of 2,560 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits may be included with the Pro model. IP68-rated constructions for the Poco X7 and X7 Pro phones could prevent water and dust intrusion. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, OIS, and capability for 4K video recording may be included in the Pro model. It is anticipated that the base model will have a 20-megapixel camera. The Pro version might have a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired HyperCharging compatibility, while the vanilla version would have a 5,110mAh battery with 45W TurboCharging support.

Oppo Reno 13 Series

The Oppo Reno 13 5G series is set to launch in India and select global markets in India today at 5 PM. The series will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Oppo India e-store. The upcoming lineup will include two devices Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro. In addition, it will be offered in two colours: Reno 13 Pro in Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender and Reno13 in Ivory White and Luminous Blue.
