Krafton’s Battle Ground Mobile India (BGMI) has been taken down from Google Play Store and App Store following a government order. While Apple did not provide any reason for taking down the game, a Google spokesperson confirmed that BGMI was taken down from the Play Store following a government order. The reason for the takedown remains a mystery as Krafton is yet to make a statement explaining the ban. Earlier in 2020, the Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile along with 40 other Chinese apps citing a ‘threat to national security’.
