Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power tipped to launch in India soon. As per the Indian tipsters, Moto G 5G could become the cheapest 5G phone in the country taking on OnePlus Nord and other brands such as Xiaomi as well as Vivo. Recently the devices went on the Indian certification website, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) suggesting launch. To recall the devices were launched in the European market.
Motorola is gearing up to bring two new devices to the Indian market. As per the recent tweet made by tipster Mukul Sharma Moto G 5G could launch soon in India. While Amrelia Ruhez, a YouTuber also indicated a mid-range phone coming to India. Another tipster Abhishek Yadav also hints at Moto G 5G to launch in India under Rs 20,000 price segment.
Recently both the recently launched Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power were spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website ahead of the India launch with model number XT2091-3 and XT2113-3, respectively.
To recall Moto G 5G was launched in Europe a 6.7-inch full-HD+ LTPS display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 394ppi pixel density. It runs Android 10 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of expandable storage. A triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 118-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support and is touted to last up to 2 days on a single charge. As a connectivity option, there is 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS among others. Moreover, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor placed inside the Motorola batwing logo.
On the other hand, Moto G9 Power features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720×1,640 pixels. It runs a stock Android 10 operating system and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 4GB RAM with 128GB of expandable storage option. For photos, Moto G9 Power includes a triple camera set up on the back of the phone with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79. The camera set up is further assisted by two more sensors: a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, Motorola’s smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video chats.
In addition, there is a 6,000mAh battery that offers 20W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G LTE.
