Xiaomi 15 Review: Design and Display
Although Xiaomi has maintained the design language of the previous generation, the Xiaomi 14‘s design is somewhat better. It features an aluminium chassis with a matte glass finish panel, which is good since it will prevent fingerprints and unintentional scratches. The ceramic shield glass protection on the front panel provides excellent protection. After that, you have a camera unit with three camera sensors. The Xiaomi 15’s screen has precise and vibrant colours, and the text seems crisp. The screen also provides good viewing angles, and reading ability is unaffected by extreme viewing angles. It offers very realistic and fluid images for a great visual experience. Depending on user preferences and specific usage situations, the LTPO panel allows the display to automatically switch between a refresh rate of 1Hz and 120Hz while retaining a relatively low power consumption.
The display’s touch responsiveness is flawless. Because of the dual speakers, we had a great overall experience when watching a lot of content and YouTube videos. Dolby Atmos is supported, offering crystal-clear audio. We did not detect any distortion at maximum level, and the speakers are clean and powerful.
The display’s performance impressed us. Even though it is smaller than other devices, it is still quite capable of watching different stuff.
The smartphone has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor is positioned well, is quite accurate, and unlocks the device quickly.
Xiaomi 15 Review: Performance and Cameras
We thought this little phone performed quite well in this area as well. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core SoCs power the Xiaomi 15. For high-end Android phones, this is one of the most powerful chipsets. The processor has been paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15, is pre-installed on the Xiaomi 15. The smartphone comes with five years of security patches and four major Android upgrades, which is respectable, but it still lags behind Samsung and Google, who offer seven years of software updates.

The Xiaomi 15 has excellent hardware, a fantastic camera, and a long battery life. The compact phone performed well in all tasks, including daily usage and gaming.
