Huawei’s feature packed flagship P30 Pro smartphone was launched last month in Parifeature-packed now, Huawei P30 Pro has finally made its way to India as it will be launched today at an event in New Delhi. The launch event will take place from 12pm (noon) onwards you can watch it on Huawei’s official YouTube channel. The Huawei P30 Pro has been in talks since its launch because of its camera setup and its exceptional zooming capabilities. The Huawei P30 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM, a quad-rear camera setup and much more. And seeing at its specifications and its price in other markets, the Huawei P30 Pro might be priced around Rs 75,000.
As mentioned earlier, the Huawei P30 Pro was launched in Paris last month alongside the Huawei P30 which is a watered-down version of the Pro variant. But according to some reports and Amazon India’s P30 series launch page, we might not get the Huawei P30 in India. But there is another variant of the Huawei P30 series called the Huawei P30 Lite, which may make its way to India as a more affordable version of the Huawei P30 series.

Huawei P30 Pro price (expected)
In Europe, the Huawei P30 Pro is priced at EUR 999 (approximately Rs 77,800) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant of the device costs EUR 1,099 (approximately Rs 85,600). The highest variant of the Huawei P30 Pro costs EUR 1,249 (approximately Rs 97,300) and it offers 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.
We can expect the Chinese smartphone maker to bring only a few variants of the Huawei P30 Pro in India and the prices of the devices would be similar to the European pricing.
Huawei P30 Pro specifications
The Huawei P30 Pro sports a 6.47-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a waterdrop display notch. The display of the P30 Pro comes with Acoustic Display Technology which uses an in-screen maglev speaker. With this, the screen of the device itself acts like a speaker, similar to the LG’s G8 ThinQ. In addition to this, Huawei P30 Pro also houses an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The Huawei P30 Pro runs Android 9 Pie skinned with EMUI 9.1 and it has a dual-SIM slot.
The Huawei P30 Pro packs a 4,200mAh battery with wireless charging and reverse charging support. It also supports Huawei’s 40W Super Charge fast charging technology and has an IP68-certified build making it dust and water resistant.

Talking about the camera, the Huawei P30 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup which comprises of a 40MP primary camera with 1/1.7-inch Huawei SuperSpectrum Sensor and an f/1.6 (27mm) aperture paired with a 20MP ultra-wide-angle secondary camera with an f/2.2 (16mm) aperture along with an 8MP telephoto camera with an f/3.4 (125mm) aperture and a Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera. While on the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera of the device comes with AI HDR+ which optimises the overexposed and backlit selfies.
The Huawei P30 Pro’s camera has got an overall DxOMark score of 112 which places it at the top of the ranking. Along with that, the Huawei P30 Pro also has dual OIS (optical image stabilization) and the much-awaited 5x optical, 10x hybrid, and 50x digital zoom.
