What is Connections?

Connections is one of the most popular online word games from The New York Times, closely trailing behind Wordle. The puzzle presents you with a 16-word 4×4 grid. To solve the puzzle, you have to sort the words into 4 groups, with each group containing 4 words connected by a common theme. The Yellow group is the easiest to find, followed by the Green, Blue, and Purple groups. The misdirects and red herrings keep the puzzle fresh. You can play Connections in the NYT Games app or on the NYT website.

Some tips to solve Connections

Look for the obvious patterns: Not every category in the puzzle is confusing. The Yellow and Green category words are relatively easy to spot. However, if something seems too obvious, it could be a red herring. Typically, the first two categories comprise verbs and adjectives. The misdirects are often nouns.

Double-check your submissions: ‘Do not overthink’ is usually a good tip for solving most puzzles, but it doesn’t really apply to Connections. Before submitting a set of words, you should always check whether they fit somewhere else too.

Hit a dead end? Use the shuffle button: The shuffle button at the bottom of the grid exists for a reason. Placing the words in different positions can spark new connections. Think of it as a mental refresh. New patterns will emerge, and you may be able to find a breakthrough.

Tackle the Purple category with extra caution: The Connections team is known to serve up the toughest and most unexpected words for the Purple category. Here are some of the common tropes that you should look out for:

  • Homophones (For example: ‘Where’, ‘Wear’, ‘Ware’, and ‘Weir’)
  • Words within words (For example: ‘Slip’, ‘Hear’, ‘Keyes’, and ‘Undiagnosed’ could be ‘Words containing parts of the face’)
  • Words minus a letter (For example: ‘Anther’, ‘Easel’, ‘Hark’, and ‘Lama’ could be ‘Animals minus starting letter’)
  • Words preceded or followed by another word (For example: ‘Face’, ‘Sports’, ‘Note’, and ‘Year’ could be ‘____ Book’)

Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch Review: Big Screen Features At A Mid-Range Price

The Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch review answers a question that value-conscious TV buyers in India have been asking for a while now: can you get genuine Mini LED performance at a price where QLED panels usually dominate? At Rs 71,999, this TV lands in a crowded segment where Samsung, LG, and Sony have long called the shots. Xiaomi’s answer is to skip the QLED fight entirely and go straight to Mini LED technology, bringing local dimming, 1,200-nit peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support to a price point where those features have no real business showing up. But specs are only half the story. Here’s what actually happens when you live with this TV.

Design: Slim Bezels, Plastic Realities

The Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch does not arrive trying to win a design award, and that’s a conscious choice. The bezels are slim enough to disappear once the screen lights up, and the metal frame gives the TV enough structure to feel solid from the front. Once you flip it around during setup, though, the plastic back panel and stands make clear where costs were trimmed.

Image: Gadget Bridge

The one design detail worth appreciating is the flexible stand. You can push the legs close together for a narrow TV unit or spread them wide if you have more surface space. It’s a small thing, but it’s thoughtful. Post-setup, once the TV is in place, the plastic fades into total irrelevance.

Image: Gadget Bridge

Port selection is genuinely practical: three HDMI ports (one with eARC), two USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio out, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. A console, soundbar, and set-top box can all coexist here without any cable juggling.

Image: Gadget Bridge

The TV sports a 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) QD-Mini LED panel with approximately 384 to 392 local dimming zones depending on the variant. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG, with peak brightness rated at around 1,200 nits. The panel runs at a native 60Hz but uses DLG and MEMC processing to push motion handling up to a perceived 120Hz. Audio comes from a 34W quad-speaker setup with Dolby Audio, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual:X. The TV runs on a quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, with Google TV and Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface running on top.

Display Performance: Where the Money Goes

This is where the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch earns its price tag, and where it genuinely surprises. The QD Mini LED TV under 1 lakh segment has historically meant accepting washed-out blacks or dull contrast. The local dimming here rewrites that expectation.

Image: Gadget Bridge

Dark, shadow-heavy content like Game of Thrones, practically a torture test for LED panels, showed real depth during testing. Blacks were almost as deep as its rivals. Highlights stayed punchy without bleeding into surrounding dark areas, and the 94 per cent DCI-P3 colour coverage kept colours rich without tipping into the kind of aggressive oversaturation that makes every human face look like it belongs on Mars.

HDR content on Netflix and YouTube genuinely pops. The 1,200-nit brightness holds up in practice, making bright highlights feel convincing rather than just loud. Sports content, tested across IPL matches, came through with sharp stadium lighting, fast camera pans, and vivid greens looking natural and lively rather than artificially pumped up.

Filmmaker Mode is the setting to default to for movies. It pulls back the aggression of the Standard and Vivid presets, restores skin tones to something believable, and recovers shadow detail that punchier modes sacrifice for visual drama. The built-in light sensor adjusts brightness and colour temperature automatically based on ambient room light, and after a few days you realise you haven’t touched the picture settings once.

Image: Gadget Bridge

Gaming on the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED is decent for casual players. ALLM switches the TV to low latency mode automatically when a console is connected, and Game Boost mode smooths out the visuals. It’s not a dedicated gaming display by any measure, but it won’t frustrate anyone who plays casually.

Audio Performance: Good Enough, Not Good Enough

The 34W quad-speaker system with Dolby Audio and DTS:X handles dialogue cleanly and gets loud enough for everyday viewing. Voices cut through clearly, and for casual TV watching, it works fine.

Switch to music or a big action movie, and the limits show up fast. Bass is thin, and sound stays upfront rather than filling the room. During Spotify and YouTube music video testing, connecting a Bluetooth speaker made an immediate, dramatic difference. The Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch performance on audio does the job, but if picture quality brought you to this TV, a soundbar investment will complete the experience. It’s not optional, it’s inevitable.

Smart Features: Google TV Does the Work

The Xiaomi PatchWall Google TV combination turned out to be more useful than expected. PatchWall’s cross-platform content discovery surfaces recommendations intelligently without feeling intrusive, and Google TV underneath handles the heavy lifting with native support for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, YouTube, and Spotify.

Casting via Chromecast, AirPlay, and Miracast works seamlessly. Apps open quickly under normal conditions, and navigation stays clean and responsive.

The 2GB RAM is the one area where the software experience wobbles. For standard use, it’s fine, but jumping rapidly between multiple apps can trigger the occasional slowdown. There’s also intermittent lag when waking the TV from idle or switching apps during prolonged sessions. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing before you buy.

Verdict: A Display Overachiever With Honest Compromises

The best 65-inch Mini LED TV at this price? The Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch makes a genuinely strong argument for that title. The display is the headline act and it delivers. Mini LED local dimming, strong HDR brightness, accurate colours in Filmmaker Mode, and a smart TV platform that stays out of your way combine to make this a compelling upgrade for anyone moving up from a standard LED television.

Image: Gadget Bridge

The compromises are real but manageable. Plastic materials, modest RAM, and average built-in audio remind you that Rs 71,999 buys a mid-range product with premium display hardware, not an all-round flagship. If your budget stretches toward a Sony or Samsung at a higher price, you’ll get more software polish and overall refinement. But if the picture is what matters most to you, and you’re willing to pair this TV with an external soundbar, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65-inch makes a very strong case.

It’s not perfect. But when you’re 20 minutes into a match or a film on that screen, you’ll stop asking if it is.

boAt Airdopes ProClip Open-Ear Earbuds Launched in India at Rs 1599 With Sonic Seal Technology

The best affordable open-ear earbuds in the Indian segment are getting a new challenger as boAt has launched the Airdopes ProClip, a new audio product designed around the growing global trend of open-ear listening. Unlike traditional earbuds that sit inside the ear canal, open-ear audio products focus on comfort and environmental awareness, allowing users to listen while staying connected with what is happening around them.

Open-ear earbuds have been gaining attention worldwide because they solve a simple everyday problem: people want their music, calls and podcasts without completely disconnecting from their surroundings. However, in markets like India, where users often switch between crowded commutes, workplaces, outdoor activities and fitness routines, the challenge has been finding a balance between awareness, comfort and audio privacy.

The boAt Airdopes ProClip enters this space with a design aimed at addressing those everyday use cases. The earbuds feature an open-ear design, which means they do not block the ear canal completely. This allows users to remain aware of traffic, conversations and surroundings while enjoying audio content.

boAt Airdopes ProClip Features and Design

The highlight of the new earbuds is boAt’s Sonic Seal technology, which is designed to minimise audio leakage. Audio leakage has been one of the biggest concerns with open-ear headphones because sound escaping from the earbuds can disturb people nearby, especially in offices, public transport or shared spaces.

The Airdopes ProClip uses a Cloud Fit design with a lightweight construction aimed at improving long-duration comfort. The secure loop structure helps keep the earbuds in place during movement, making them suitable for workouts, walking, travel and active lifestyles.

Key features of the boAt Airdopes ProClip include:

• Open-ear design for extended comfort
• Sonic Seal technology for reduced audio leakage
• Ambient Sound Awareness to stay connected with surroundings
• Lightweight Cloud Fit construction
• Secure loop structure for better grip
• Designed for commuting, workouts and daily activities

Built for Indian Listening Conditions

While open-ear audio has become a popular category globally, Indian consumers have unique usage patterns. A pair of earbuds can be used during a metro ride in the morning, a work call in the afternoon, a fitness session in the evening and entertainment time at night.

The Airdopes ProClip is manufactured in Noida at Califonix, a joint venture between boAt Lifestyle and Dixon Technologies, as part of the Make in India initiative. The product reflects the growing focus on local manufacturing while adapting global technology trends for regional consumer needs.

boAt says the earbuds are designed to offer a combination of listening comfort, awareness and privacy without moving into the premium pricing territory that has traditionally been associated with open-ear audio products.

boAt Airdopes ProClip Price and Availability

The boAt Airdopes ProClip is available in White, Grey and Wine colour options. The earbuds are priced at Rs 1599 during the launch period and are available through boAt’s official channels along with major online retail platforms.

The Bigger Open-Ear Audio Trend

The rise of open-ear earbuds shows how personal audio is evolving beyond just louder sound or deeper bass. Consumers are increasingly looking for devices that fit naturally into their routines. The next generation of audio products is not only about what users hear, but also about how comfortably technology fits into their daily lives.

At Rs 1599, the boAt Airdopes ProClip makes open-ear audio more accessible for mainstream buyers. The real test will be whether its balance of comfort, privacy and awareness can convince users to try a new style of listening. If it succeeds, open-ear earbuds could move from a niche category into a more familiar everyday accessory.

Latest iPhone rumours: iPhone 18 Pro camera is getting massive

The latest iPhone rumours claim that Apple is prioritising a bigger, more advanced camera system for this year’s iPhone 18 Pro models. This system will be visibly noticeable because of the thicker camera hump. Here is everything we know.

According to the most recent report, the iPhone 18 Pro will be seeing a big change in its main camera’s capabilities, marking a considerable break from earlier incremental revisions. Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital disclosed that the anticipated expansion of the camera module is the most noteworthy feature. The new camera system is expected to increase the device’s rear panel thickness by an additional 2mm.

This may seem like a little tweak, but in the very complex world of smartphone design, it is a significant one. This decision highlights Apple’s new emphasis on improving optical performance rather than the long-standing aim of creating the sleekest phone possible, which has historically defined the iPhone’s development.

Industry expert Mark Gurman says the iPhone 18 Pro will have the biggest camera hardware enhancements ever. One of the highlights of these upgrades is the addition of a real variable aperture system, which would enable the camera to change the size of the lens opening, like the human eye. This innovation is set to revolutionise mobile photography in multiple ways.

Also Read: Amazon Quiz Answers Today: June 23, 2026 – Win up to Rs 500

The first will be the ability for users to choose a depth of field, which will allow for a more natural bokeh effect for background blur rather than the software-driven Portrait Mode now in use. Second, the variable aperture will increase low-light performance by allowing more light to reach the sensor, enhancing picture quality in low-light circumstances without having to resort to computational noise reduction to artificially brighten the images.

These changes mark a major shift in how people may take photos with their mobile phones and might make the iPhone 18 Pro a real game-changer for photography fans.

The latest rumour about the iPhone 18 Pro amounts to a seismic change for Apple, as the company seems to be more and more catering to fans and professional creators. The gadget is anticipated to become a dedicated imaging device, beyond the capabilities of a normal smartphone. Fans of photography and filmmaking who rely on their iPhones will likely appreciate the thicker design, which is designed to enable higher-quality camera glass and enhance overall lens performance.

It’s a common trend in smartphone design: moving away from a “sleek, flat back” form factor and towards a setup that favours substantial “big lens” capabilities. As a result, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to be a major launch, especially for people who appreciate better lens performance. The improvements indicate a new emphasis on the demands of consumers who are serious about mobile photography and videography, a significant change in Apple’s product strategy.

BenQ MA320UG 4K Monitor Launched for Mac Creators with 120Hz ProMotion Support and 96W Thunderbolt Charging

The world of creative work is getting sharper, faster and far more demanding. A laptop screen that once felt luxurious can suddenly feel cramped when timelines, colour palettes, editing tools and multiple apps start fighting for space. Addressing this growing need, BenQ has launched the MA320UG 4K monitor for Mac creators, a display designed for video editors, designers, content creators and professionals who want a larger, smoother and more integrated workspace.

The new BenQ MA320UG sits inside the company’s Mac-focused MA Series and brings together a 32-inch 4K UHD panel, 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion support, Mac-tuned colour performance and productivity-focused connectivity features. It follows the MA270S, which positioned the series around Mac-first workflows and high-resolution creative needs.

BenQ MA320UG brings a bigger canvas for creative professionals

For creators, screen size is not just about watching bigger videos or opening more windows. It directly impacts workflow. The MA320UG’s 32-inch 4K display provides a larger workspace for handling video timelines, motion graphics projects, photo editing tools and multiple creative applications at the same time.

The monitor supports a 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion compatibility, which aims to deliver smoother motion compared to traditional 60Hz displays. This can be especially useful for editors scrubbing through footage, animators reviewing movement and creators working on content where every frame matters.

The display offers 98% P3 colour coverage and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, targeting professionals who need consistent colours, richer contrast and better visual accuracy while creating content.

Built for Mac workflows, not just Mac connections

Many monitors can connect to a Mac, but the MA320UG is designed around the idea of behaving like a natural extension of the Apple ecosystem. The monitor supports Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with up to 96W power delivery, allowing users to charge compatible MacBooks, transfer data and manage display connections through a single cable.

For creators working with multiple devices, the Smart KVM feature adds flexibility. It allows users to control two connected systems using one keyboard and mouse while supporting cross-device copy and paste functionality for files, images and text.

This could make setups involving a MacBook Pro, Mac Studio, Mac mini or even a secondary Windows PC more streamlined, reducing the usual cable clutter that comes with multi-device workstations.

Nano Gloss Panel and ergonomic design focus on long creative sessions

The MA320UG features BenQ’s Nano Gloss Panel, designed to improve visual depth and contrast while managing reflections. For professionals spending several hours editing, designing or reviewing content, display comfort becomes an important part of productivity.

The monitor also comes with a height-adjustable stand offering 150mm of adjustment, allowing users to position the screen according to their preferred working posture.

BenQ has also integrated Display Pilot 2 software support, bringing features such as colour synchronization, workspace management, brightness and volume controls through Mac keyboards, Auto Pivot functionality and easier display adjustments.

A monitor designed around the changing creator economy

The demand for better displays has changed significantly. Creators are no longer only looking for more pixels. They need smoother performance, reliable colour reproduction, easier connectivity and a setup that fits modern hybrid workflows.

The BenQ MA320UG reflects this shift by combining features traditionally spread across professional monitors, docking stations and productivity tools into a single display solution. As content creation becomes more video-heavy and visually demanding, monitors are increasingly becoming the centre of creative setups rather than just another accessory.

BenQ MA320UG price and availability in India

The BenQ MA320UG is now available in India through leading electronics retail stores, authorised partners and online platforms. The launch price of the monitor is Rs 84,998.

With the MA320UG, BenQ is targeting creators who want a premium Mac-friendly display without moving into the ultra-high-resolution 5K category. The interesting part is the balance it tries to strike: a large 4K canvas, smoother visuals and workflow features that go beyond simply being a bigger screen. For many creators, the monitor may finally become the productivity upgrade they did not know they needed.

Is GTA 6 Priced At $100? The Truth Behind That Viral European Retailer Price Leak

Grand Theft Auto VI is doing what only Rockstar Games can do: generate maximum internet panic before a single price has been officially confirmed. A GTA 6 price leak from a European retailer has set the gaming world ablaze this week, with fans convinced they have finally uncovered hard proof that the most anticipated game of this decade will cost well north of $100. The listings, spotted on FNAC Portugal’s website, showed multiple Rockstar-coded product entries priced between €89.99 and €199.99. Converted to US dollars, that lands at roughly $103 for the base edition, $138 for what fans are calling a premium tier, and a wallet-punishing $229 for what is being speculated as a collector’s edition. The gaming community, predictably, lost its collective mind.

Before anyone empties their savings account over a video game, here is what is actually going on.

What the FNAC Portugal Listings Actually Showed

The listings were first spotted by a ResetEra user named fdst1983, who shared screenshots of multiple Rockstar-branded product entries on FNAC Portugal’s inventory system. FNAC is a well-known multinational retail chain operating across France, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, and several other European markets. The product pages appeared under generic placeholder codenames: RS1, RS4, and RS5, priced at €89.99, €119.99, and €199.99, respectively.

Read Also: Valve Steam Machine Hits $1,049 as the RAM Crisis Forces a Major Price Rethink

Crucially, all three listings carried a release date of November 19, 2026, which aligns directly with Rockstar’s confirmed launch window for GTA 6. That small detail added enormous credibility in the eyes of the internet, with many fans treating the entire thing as proof of genuine pricing. There are also reportedly two additional SKUs, RS2 and RS3, that were cropped out of the original screenshot, suggesting a five-tier edition structure may be in play.

Worth knowing is that FNAC has a long-standing habit of listing games early and assigning its own estimated placeholder prices while awaiting publisher confirmation. The retailer often offers discounts on these early pre-order entries, accepting partial deposits rather than the full amount at checkout. None of that makes a floating number on a backend inventory page an official price.

Trusted Insider Steps In With a Very Different Story

Here is where the narrative takes a sharp turn. billbil-kun, a widely respected games industry insider with a proven track record for accurately leaking game prices ahead of official announcements, saw the FNAC frenzy spreading and stepped in to cool things down on X (formerly Twitter).

“Looks like many people (including Rockstar) are trying to disturb my holidays. Those SKUs are just placeholders because EAN codes (like UPC in US) don’t belong to Take Two traditional games prefixes,” billbil-kun wrote, adding clearly that the prices are “random ones.”

For those less familiar with retail systems, EAN codes are the European equivalent of the American UPC barcode system used to uniquely identify commercial products. The fact that these GTA 6 entries do not match the established product prefixes typically associated with Take-Two Interactive releases is a significant clue that these are internal filler entries, not finalised pricing data. When a leaker who has gotten game prices right before tells you to look elsewhere, it is usually worth listening.

What Take-Two’s CEO Has Said About GTA 6 Pricing

While Rockstar remains characteristically tight-lipped on official figures, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has made several pointed comments in recent months that offer a clear window into how the company is approaching this.

Speaking at the Interactive Innovation Conference in April 2026, Zelnick directly pushed back against the super-premium price point that has been making the rounds in gaming circles.

“Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way, way, way less for the value delivery,” he said at the event.

Zelnick also made a sharp observation about how the $60 to $70 price range for new releases has held remarkably steady for over a decade. Adjusted for inflation, gaming is arguably better value today than it was years ago, which gets lost in the noise every time a major release approaches. His framing is clear: the goal is not a premium price tag for its own sake, but a price that feels earned.

“How you feel about something you buy is the intersection of the thing itself and what you pay for. Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got,” he added.

That philosophy does not rule out a modest price step above $70, but it strongly signals that Take-Two is not in the business of making players feel squeezed.

GTA 6 Pre-Orders Open June 25 Across Digital and Physical Retail

Rockstar officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will go live on June 25, 2026, through digital storefronts and select retail partners globally. The announcement arrived alongside the unveiling of the game’s official cover artwork on June 18, featuring protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos set against a Vice City backdrop.

GTA 6 is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It arrives more than 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V, the second-best-selling video game in history. To say expectations are high would be the understatement of the console generation.

The Price Will Come, and Gamers Will Pay It Anyway

With pre-orders going live in a matter of hours, the great GTA 6 pricing mystery is about to have a very definitive answer. The FNAC Portugal listings may well be nothing more than system scaffolding, but they have done their unintentional job brilliantly: kept the conversation running at full volume for another news cycle. Whether the final price lands at $70, $79.99, or somewhere further north, one thing is virtually guaranteed. When Rockstar flips the switch on June 25, millions of wallets will open without a second’s hesitation. And Rockstar knows it better than anyone.

Nobody had “Valve charges more than a thousand dollars for a mini gaming PC” on their 2026 bingo card, yet here we are. The Valve Steam Machine price 2026 story is not just about a new gaming gadget; it is about a global RAM crisis that has thrown the entire hardware industry into chaos. Valve officially unveiled its Steam Machine on Monday, June 22, 2026, announcing an entry-level price of $1,049 for the base 512GB model, a figure significantly higher than the $700-to-$800 range that many analysts, enthusiasts, and even Valve’s own internal projections had anticipated.

So What Exactly Is the Steam Machine?

In short, it is a compact 6-inch cube of a gaming PC running Valve’s own SteamOS, designed to sit under your television and give you the full power of PC gaming from your couch. Under the hood, it packs a semi-custom AMD Zen 4 processor with six cores and twelve threads clocking up to 4.8 GHz, paired with a semi-custom RDNA 3 GPU featuring 28 compute units and 8GB of GDDR6 dedicated video memory. The system also ships with 16GB of DDR5 RAM. Valve claims the Steam Machine delivers over six times the performance of the Steam Deck, with smooth 4K gaming at 60 frames per second enabled by AMD’s FSR 3 upscaling technology. The unit also features a removable faceplate and a customizable LED strip on the front, because apparently your gaming rig’s personality matters too.

Four Configurations, One Big Bill

Valve is offering the Steam Machine across four configurations. The base 512GB model without a controller starts at $1,049. If you want Valve’s new Steam Controller bundled in, that version costs $1,128. Stepping up to the 2TB storage variant sets you back $1,349 without a controller, or $1,428 with one. Both 2TB versions also include two additional faceplates in red fabric and solid walnut finishes, a nice cosmetic touch at a price point that already demands some composure. In the UK, the base model is priced at £879.

The RAM Crisis That Nobody Ordered

Here is where things get truly interesting. Valve engineers Pierre-Loup Griffais and Yazan Aldehayyat openly acknowledged during an interview that the current component market directly upended their original manufacturing and pricing goals. The AI industry’s insatiable appetite for memory chips has driven up DRAM and NAND flash prices across the board, leaving hardware makers in an uncomfortable position. The final retail price of the Steam Machine represents an estimated 33 per cent markup compared to what Valve had originally planned before the memory market went sideways.

The Valve Steam Machine launch delay story began back in February 2026, when the company paused its earlier 2026 launch window and publicly admitted that the ongoing global memory and storage shortage was forcing a complete rethink of pricing and shipment logistics. The device had originally been announced in November 2025 alongside the Steam Controller and the Steam Frame VR headset as part of Valve’s biggest hardware push in years. The RAM crisis pushed the timeline and the numbers in directions nobody wanted.

Valve is not alone in feeling this pressure. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has already hinted at further price increases on the horizon, warning that consumers will “probably see yet another price rise at some point.” Both Sony and Microsoft have already raised prices on their consoles mid-generation, an almost unprecedented move in the industry. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X now both start at $600 for their base configurations, with premium editions creeping toward that $1,000 mark.

No Subsidy, No Compromise

Unlike traditional console makers who historically sell hardware at a loss and recoup margins through game sales and subscriptions, Valve has made its philosophy crystal clear. The company stated in its official blog post that selling hardware below cost to build a closed ecosystem is a model it fundamentally opposes. “When companies sell their hardware below cost for competitive advantage, or buy exclusive content for it, they’re doing that to build a more closed system, one where you don’t get to choose what software you want to use,” Valve wrote. The Steam Machine is a full Linux PC, upgradeable in terms of RAM and storage, compatible with any USB or Bluetooth peripheral, and open to any operating system the user wants to install.

Getting Your Hands on One Is a Lottery, Literally

Buying a Steam Machine is not as straightforward as clicking “Add to Cart.” Valve has implemented a randomised reservation system to prevent scalpers and bots from hoarding units. Interested buyers can sign up through their Steam accounts any time before June 25, 2026, at 10 am Pacific Time. After that window closes, Valve will run a one-time randomisation of the queue. Those who secure a spot will receive purchase confirmation emails starting June 29, with a 72-hour window to complete the transaction before the offer passes to the next person in line. Only one reservation is allowed per household, and buyers must have a Steam account in good standing with at least one purchase made before April 27, 2026. The reservation lists are split by region, covering North America, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Australia. The Steam Machine’s store page reportedly sold out within ten minutes of going live, underscoring just how intense demand is despite the price.

Valve has said it intends to work through the full reservation queue by the end of 2026, meaning anyone who misses the June 25 deadline and lands on the waitlist may well be waiting until 2027.

A Price Worth Paying?

Context helps here. According to component pricing data, assembling a desktop PC with broadly equivalent performance from off-the-shelf parts currently costs around $1,072, making the Steam Machine’s $1,049 entry price genuinely competitive in the current market, even if it stings compared to expectations set a year ago. The Steam Machine is not competing with the Steam Deck. It is a full living room gaming PC that happens to come pre-assembled, pre-optimised, and wrapped in Valve’s SteamOS ecosystem, with access to one of the largest game libraries on the planet.

The Steam Frame VR headset, the third product in Valve’s 2026 hardware lineup, is still without a confirmed launch date.

GadgetBridge Take

At $1,049, the Valve Steam Machine is not the budget bombshell some were hoping for, but given that the RAM crisis has made everyone from Sony to Microsoft wince in discomfort, Valve arguably had little choice. The real story here is that the global memory shortage has fundamentally reshaped what gaming hardware costs in 2026, and no manufacturer, not even one as deliberate and patient as Valve, is immune. If you can get through the lottery, the Steam Machine offers a genuinely compelling value for what it delivers. Whether that value lands depends entirely on your bank balance and your patience with randomised queues.

Garena Free Fire MAX Redeem Codes (June 23, 2026): Free Upgrades for the OB54 Update

Garena Free Fire MAX gamers can get premium weapon skins, free diamond vouchers and special character bundles without paying real money. On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, developers published a fresh batch of 12-character alphanumeric redemption codes, giving gamers a chance to improve their gaming experience for free.

The in-game store’s premium aesthetics usually demand a lot of grinding or expensive diamond purchases, but the daily official codes allow a true shortcut to getting the game’s top loot. These codes allow players to quickly get the newest Gloo Wall cosmetics to display during the OB54 patch or rack up Luck Royale vouchers to be ready for forthcoming events. Today’s active codes are a wonderful chance for players to build up their inventory without all the hassle or cost.

Garena applies strict, real-time activation limits to promotional codes, often limiting their use to a first pool of 500 to 5,000 users globally. These Garena Free Fire MAX redeem codes are only valid for a short amount of time and will expire between 12 and 18 hours. So, it is important for users to act fast and collect their drops before the daily server limit is fully used up.

Active Garena Free Fire MAX Redeem Codes June 23

Garena has server verification systems that quickly process the input codes and usually restrict them after around 5,000 successful inputs. To maximise your chances of redemption, we recommend that you copy and paste these codes to the redemption site as soon as possible before the daily limit is exhausted.

Top Tier: Exclusive Event Passes – 4ST1ZTBZBRP9, BR43FMAPYEZZ, UPQ7X5NMJ64V

Since the code redemption process is impacted by geographical limits, some code strings may not operate effectively depending on the geographical location of the user. When a user sees an unexpected error message when entering their code, it often means that the code variation is not compatible with the geographical server location chosen by them. In such cases, there is no need to worry; this is a typical occurrence owing to these regional allocations.

NYT Strands Hints and Answers for June 23, 2026 (Puzzle #842)

If you’ve been hunting for the NYT Strands hints and answers for June 23, 2026, you’ve landed in the right place. Puzzle #842 arrives with the theme clue “A whole new world,” and before you let your mind drift off to magic carpet rides and animated Disney royalty, pump the brakes. Today’s puzzle isn’t about Aladdin. It’s about pickaxes, pixelated cows, and the most block-obsessed video game franchise in human history. Yes, today’s Strands is all about Minecraft.

What Is NYT Strands?

For anyone who hasn’t yet fallen down the NYT word game rabbit hole, here’s a quick breakdown. Strands is the New York Times’ clever, elevated twist on the classic word search format. The game places 48 letters inside a 6×8 grid and challenges players to find all the hidden theme words. The real trick is that words in Strands don’t have to travel in a straight line. They can bend, turn, and snake in any direction, diagonally, horizontally, or vertically, and they can even change direction mid-word.

Every letter on the board belongs to exactly one answer. Nothing goes to waste. And unlike a regular word search, where extra letters are just filler, Strands accounts for every single tile. It makes the puzzle feel more like a satisfying jigsaw than a simple word hunt.

The crown jewel of each Strands puzzle is the “spangram.” This is a special word or phrase that captures the day’s theme and literally spans the entire grid from one side to the other. Find the spangram, and the rest of the puzzle tends to open up considerably.

Today’s NYT Strands Theme Explained

The official theme clue for June 23 reads “A whole new world.” While that phrase carries strong Disney associations, the actual theme is firmly rooted in gaming territory. Today’s words all describe a popular computer game, one with blocky graphics, a survival mechanic, and a fanbase that spans generations and continents.

If you’ve ever spent time building a house out of wood planks, crafting a diamond sword, or accidentally falling into lava, today’s puzzle will feel like coming home.

NYT Strands Spangram for June 23, 2026

Today’s spangram runs horizontally across the grid, and the answer is MINECRAFT.

That one word changes everything. Once MINECRAFT locks into place, glowing yellow across the board, the remaining answers suddenly reveal themselves as the building blocks (pun absolutely intended) of one of the best-selling video games ever created.

All NYT Strands Answers for June 23, 2026

Here is the complete word list for Strands Puzzle #842. Every word is a core mechanic, item, or concept from Minecraft gameplay.

  • MINECRAFT (Spangram, horizontal)
  • BUILDING
  • STORAGE
  • ARMOR
  • BLOCK
  • PORTAL
  • FOOD
  • LOOT

Let’s quickly break down why each word earns its place in today’s grid. BUILDING is the very soul of Minecraft. Players spend hours constructing shelters, cities, and frankly baffling artistic creations out of stacked blocks. STORAGE refers to the chest systems that every Minecraft player relies on to organise dozens of collected items, from raw wood to enchanted gear. ARMOR is what keeps players alive during hostile encounters with creepers, zombies, skeletons, and the terrifying Endermen. BLOCK is practically the game’s entire DNA, representing the pixelated cubic units that make up every landscape, structure, and material in the game. PORTAL is the shimmering, purple Nether Portal that players build to teleport into Minecraft’s dangerous underworld dimension. FOOD keeps the hunger bar filled and health regenerating during long mining sessions. And LOOT covers everything valuable hidden inside dungeons, mineshafts, desert temples, and defeated enemies. It’s the thrill that keeps players digging.

How to Earn Hints in NYT Strands

The hint system in Strands requires a little effort. Players must first find three non-theme words of at least four letters in the grid to unlock a hint token. Each token can then be used to reveal one hidden theme word automatically, showing its position on the board. The game has its own built-in ecology. You earn your lifelines before you spend them.

The strategic approach is to bank hint tokens by finding extra words early, then use them only when the grid feels genuinely unsolvable. Scanning diagonal lines first tends to be effective, since Strands loves to tuck answers along angles that the eye might naturally skip.

Was Today’s Strands Puzzle Hard?

For gamers, today’s Puzzle #842 is one of the more approachable entries of the month. The Minecraft vocabulary is recognisable and fairly intuitive, even for players whose block-building days are a few years behind them. Once the spangram clicks into place, the remaining seven words follow with satisfying logic. Non-gamers might find themselves Googling what a Nether Portal is before the grid makes sense, but the theme itself is generous and satisfying rather than obscure.

Final Thoughts

Today’s NYT Strands is the kind of puzzle that makes gamers feel quietly smug and sends everyone else on a crash course in Minecraft terminology. It’s a well-earned theme for one of the most culturally significant games ever made, and seeing MINECRAFT span across the grid in bright yellow feels genuinely fun. The real question now is whether the NYT will one day give us a full Ender Dragon finale as a spangram. That would be a puzzle worth losing sleep over.

Wordle #1830 Hints and Clues: Today’s Wordle Answer for Tuesday, June 23

Wordle #1830 June 23 2026, is a familiar, everyday word, but it features a tricky spelling pattern that might catch you off guard. After yesterday’s odd botanical word, OVATE, Puzzle #1830 introduces a common culinary phrase. However, players need to watch out, since the answer contains a major structural pitfall: a repeated inner consonant with a semi-vowel ending that might lead to gameplay deceit.

The real difficulty in Wordle answer for June 23 is not the word itself. The real risk is in the architecture. The grid isolates a single vowel and immediately follows it with a double-letter block, anchoring the frame on a terminal “Y.” If you’re one of those who like to look for distinctive, different consonants line-by-line, today’s board will break your winning streak. Our regular daily guide is intended to protect your numbers with a clear, spoiler-free roadmap before you put your hard-won streak in danger.

Is today’s Wordle #1830 difficult?

Wordle #1830 Analytics suggest a global average answer count of around 4.4 guesses out of 6, or moderately challenging. The vocabulary of the puzzle is really well thought out, yet there is a unique spatial obstacle in the game because of missing a repeated letter. This problem is most apparent in rows 3 or 4, as players who correctly identify the letters U, R, and Y may believe the other spaces need to be filled with unique letters. You could try terms like PURTY or MURLY, not knowing that R is in two places. If you don’t spot this double-consonant arrangement early in Hard Mode, you will make too many errors (such as HURRY, FURRY, and BURRY) before you get a game over. One strategic approach is to use a diagnostic opener that hits a terminal Y, e.g., STORY or CRONY, to quickly reveal the rear end of the board.

Tip for solving today’s Wordle

Today’s Wordle answer June 23 2026 grid faces a challenge known as duplication neglect, a cognitive pattern. Our working memory tends to favour new letters in English words rather than recycling previously used ones. This propensity may lead to the omission of double consonant blends, such as -RR-, particularly when they occur in the middle of a word. In order to increase performance, it is important to make a deliberate effort to test duplicate tiles in these middle positions, fighting this psychological bias and improving performance above the global average.

Today’s Wordle Answer #1830

The answer to Wordle today is: CURRY

Etymology of CURRY

The word “curry” has a long history globally associated with its place in contemporary cuisine. It is derived from the Tamil word “kari”, meaning “sauce” or “relish for rice”, and was borrowed into English in the late 16th century via Portuguese (caril) via the spice trade. Interestingly, the verb form “to curry favour” has a different derivation, coming from the Old French “correier”, meaning to set in order or prepare, especially in the sense of grooming a horse. The dual linguistic heritage adds an interesting aspect to the word’s profile, making it an intriguing feature in language discussions.

What is Connections?

After Wordle, Connections is the New York Times’ most popular word game. The rules are simple. You need to find words with a common theme and group them into 4 groups of 4. The 16-word grid is designed with an increasing level of difficulty. The Yellow group is the easiest to spot, followed by Green, Blue, and Purple. The misdirects and red herrings can trip you up, but they also make the puzzle more fun.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Delectable audio served with impressive ANC on the side

Oppo’s massive popularity in the midrange TWS segment comes from its versatile Enco Air series. Over the year, these earbuds have provided a good mix of features without compromising essential aspects like soundstage and form factor. The latest iteration in the series, Enco Air5 Pro, promises more of the same. We spent a week with these earbuds, using them for tasks like calling, gaming, and, of course, listening to music. Here is our in-depth review of the Oppo Enco Air5 Pro.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Design

Box Contents

  • Charging case with earbuds inside
  • S and L ear tips
  • User guide

The Enco Air5 Pro follows the design language of its predecessor. The pebble-shaped charging case has a compact form factor, which makes it easy to slide into pockets. The matte finish on the plastic body lends it a nice in-hand feel and keeps fingerprints at bay. The construction of the case inspires confidence. The hinge feels strong and durable.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Design

The lid snaps open with just one finger, and the wireless earbuds are magnetically locked into place, refusing to get dislodged easily. The Oppo lettering is embossed on the front panel, right below the lid. The LED notification light is placed further down. The USB-C port is positioned at the bottom of the case.

design

The earbuds follow the traditional in-ear design and offer a snug, comfortable fit. There are small and large ear tips inside the box to suit all ear sizes. The matte finish on the earbuds extends to the inner section that goes inside the ear. This keeps them firmly in place, even when they are exposed to sweat. The indented section on the stem is touch-sensitive. Oppo has done a good job of tuning these earbuds to reject accidental touches.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Design

The Enco Air5 Pro earbuds are rated IP55 for protection against dust and water. We wore the earbuds while running and working out. They remained unfazed by sweat. You can wear them in light rainfall without worrying about water-related damage.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Performance

The Enco Air5 Pro supports Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair. As soon as you open the lid, a pop-up appears on your device, prompting you to connect to the TWS and save it on your account. You also get the upgraded Bluetooth 6.0 on these earbuds. There are 3 audio codecs on offer – SBC, AAC, and LHDC 5.0 (accessible via the HeyMelody app).

performance

Each earbud is equipped with a 12mm titanium-coated diaphragm driver. The resulting audio output is clear and enjoyable. The Enco Air5 Pro deviates from the relatively balanced soundstage offered by its predecessors to give more attention to the low end. While bassheads may appreciate this change, users who are looking for a close-to-neutral sounstage will certainly notice the ever-so-slightly muffled mids. For casual users, the new soundstage would be more enjoyable.

We played a mix of different genres, including pop, post-punk, and heavy metal, during our week with the Oppo Enco Air5 Pro. The earbuds delivered a versatile performance, handling the glossy, bubblegum bass in pop mixes and relaying crisp guitar riffs in rock and metal numbers. You don’t need to tweak the equaliser profile to get the desired output, although the HeyMelody app offers that option to enthusiasts who care about every minute detail.

performance

Apart from a wide and lush stage, the Enco Air5 Pro also offers efficient noise cancellation. The earbuds can nullify up to 55dB of surrounding sounds, including ceiling fans, chirping birds, keystrokes, and general humdrum. In outdoor conditions, they can greatly minimise harsh engine and traffic noises. The triple mic setup comes alive on calls and extracts your voice from the background sounds. You can get your voice through to the listener even in winds of up to 25km/h. We were quite happy with the call quality in indoor and outdoor conditions.

The handy Game Mode automatically drops the latency as soon as you enter a game. The audio feed is synced perfectly with the on-screen action. You can enable ‘Enhanced sound effects’ to boost the audio quality of gunshots and footsteps. ‘AI Translate’ is one of the underrated features on offer here. It facilitates live and face-to-face translation, feeding you the translated speech directly into your ears. With multi-point connectivity, you can pair this TWS with 2 devices and switch between them seamlessly.

Oppo Enco Air5 Pro Review: Performance

Oppo claims a battery life of 13 hours on a full charge (with ANC turned off). The case can store enough charge to last another 41 hours. The OPPO Reno 16 series is gaining popularity after its initial release in China. The company has confirmed launching the new smartphone series in India soon. It will provide a wide range of options, including the conventional Reno 16 and a budget-friendly variant, the Reno 16c. Tipsters have also shared some leaks on the series recently, and a number of industry insiders have provided us with a glimpse into OPPO’s plans for introducing the series in India, an event that is anticipated to occur in July 2026.

The series combines a unique 3D Pop Planet design with HoloVerse 3D technology to provide an immersive visual experience that provokes curiosity and encourages self-expression. Interestingly, the 3D design is only available on the Starry White model that uses complex optical components to create a floating celestial illusion.

The design is further accentuated by tens of millions of microlenses that create a changing stereoscopic appearance, which varies with movement and light.

Adding to the overall design are OPPO’s Floating 3D Glitter finish and the Dynamic Stellar Ring around the camera, which provide a unique and opulent touch. The Reno 16 Series has impressive IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, giving excellent defence against splashes, dust and water submersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, as well as protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. The gadget boasts an aerospace-grade aluminium frame that is 200% stronger and 36% more drop-resistant than standard plastic frames, enabling users to shoot from a variety of angles with confidence. Here is everything we know about Nothing Phone 4b: Official confirmations and teasers

Nothing rolled out a fun teaser on their official social media accounts displaying a pencil drawing of a smartphone design layout. The teaser ended with a “4b” pencil, which put an end to the popular speculation about the new “b” branding, which some were arguing might be a new pair of headphones or a smartphone. The announcement indicates the “b” moniker refers to a smartphone purportedly being Nothing Phone 4b.

Flipkart has officially created a new microsite for the Nothing “b” series under the mobile section of the website. The URL for this site has “nothing-phone-2026” in it, suggesting a new mobile gadget is headed to India soon.

The Phone 4b will have Nothing’s unique transparent back design, which will provide a unique visual attraction. It is likely to come with a single back camera, which hints at a simplified and budget-orientated setup. This design choice says a lot about the brand’s strategy of providing impressive designs without over-complicating things and, while keeping the budget-conscious consumer in mind, providing essential functionality.

Last week, Nothing put out a Pokémon teaser, internally codenamed, as it prepares for a new hardware launch cycle with a dot-matrix teaser showcasing Blastoise and a global teaser for Jumpluff.

Blastoise, a Generation I Pokémon known for its power and protective shell, hints that the next product is a beast and designed to perform. It seems to hint at the upcoming launch of a new smartphone, more so since the teaser has been posted widely by Nothing India, which confirms a launch soon in India.

Also, as Blastoise is a water-type Pokémon, it might imply an upgrade in the device’s endurance, perhaps reaching a higher IP certification for water resistance, like IP68, particularly for mid-range or flagship smartphones.

Alongside Blastoise, the addition of Jumpluff, a Grass/Flying-type Pokémon known for its lightweight and floating abilities, points to rumours of a new pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, likely the Nothing Ear (3a) or a new lightweight pair that emphasises lightness, agility and better active noise cancellation (ANC). Jumpluff is especially suited as a mascot for audio product lines, since it complements the brand’s emphasis on delivering a fluid, immersive listening experience.

Thus, the expected CMF Phone 3 Pro has been apparently cancelled or placed on hold to preserve the ultra-budget position of the sub-brand. As a result, several hardware projects in the works have been rebranded to be part of the main Nothing brand. The upcoming Phone 4b will be slotted a notch below the previously introduced Phone 4a series to compete in the aggressively priced entry-level category in the sub-Rs 30,000 pricing range. The Phone 4b is slated to come as early as next month, with more comprehensive specs set to be revealed after an official teaser campaign, coming soon. According to certain insiders, the global smartphone industry is going through a huge problem when it comes to the pricing of RAM, and this has resulted in higher component prices.

Today’s NYT Strands Hints, Spangram and Answers for Monday, June 22, 2026

If you are hunting for the NYT Strands answers for June 22, 2026, consider this your one-stop spoiler sanctuary. Today’s Strands puzzle, numbered #841, is built around a theme that might make your skin prickle, your palms sweat, and your eyes narrow at the letter grid in mild suspicion. The theme is “Heebie-jeebies,” and the New York Times has leaned all the way into the creepy crawly concept with five thematic words and a spangram that ties it all together rather neatly. Whether you are protecting a hard-earned streak or just curious to see where today’s puzzle went, read on carefully because spoilers are very much ahead.

What Is NYT Strands and How Do You Play It?

For anyone who has somehow missed the memo, NYT Strands is a word-search-style puzzle game from The New York Times that has quietly become one of the most addictive entries in the NYT Games lineup, sitting alongside Wordle, Connections, the Mini Crossword, and Spelling Bee. Launched in early 2024, it was originally developed by Juliette Seive and is now edited by Tracy Bennett and the wider NYT Games team.

The rules are simple enough. Players get a 6×8 grid of 48 letters and a thematic clue. The goal is to find all the theme words hidden in the grid, where letters can bend and snake in any direction as long as they are not reused or shared between words. Theme words light up in blue when found. The crown jewel of each puzzle is the spangram, a special word or phrase that not only fits the theme but physically spans two opposite sides of the board. The spangram highlights in yellow, and finding it early is usually the fastest way to crack the rest of the puzzle.

Stuck mid-game? Find any valid word of four letters or more that is not a theme word, and for every three such “hint words” you play, the game rewards you with a hint that reveals letter positions for a theme word.

Today’s Strands Theme Clue for June 22

The official theme for Strands #841 is “Heebie-jeebies.” The hint from the New York Times reads: “My skin is crawling.” That should get the neurons firing in the right direction.

First Two Letters of Each Theme Word

If you want just enough of a nudge to stay independent, here are the first two letters of each word in today’s puzzle.

WI
BU
JI
SH
CR
GO (Spangram)

Is Today’s Spangram Horizontal or Vertical?

Today’s spangram is neither purely horizontal nor vertical. It travels in a mix of vertical and diagonal directions across the board, so do not limit your search to a straight line.

NYT Strands Spangram Answer for June 22, 2026

The spangram for Strands #841 is GOOSEBUMPS. It starts with G and ends with S, spans opposite sides of the board, and perfectly encapsulates the theme of nervous, fearful, or cold physical sensations. Once you spot it, the rest of the puzzle falls into place with surprising speed.

All NYT Strands Answers for Monday, June 22, 2026

Here are all six theme words for today’s puzzle, including the spangram.

WILLIES
BUTTERFLIES
JITTERS
SHIVERS
CREEPS
SPANGRAM: GOOSEBUMPS

It is a satisfying set of words once you see the full picture. WILLIES, SHIVERS, CREEPS, and JITTERS all sit comfortably in the “things that describe dread or nervousness” bucket. BUTTERFLIES is arguably the odd one out since the phrase typically describes excitement or anxious anticipation rather than outright fear, which may explain why several players found it the trickiest word to track down on the board today. GOOSEBUMPS, of course, ties them all together since it is perhaps the most universally recognised physical sign that something has set your nerves on edge.

A Quick Tip for Future Puzzles

Finding the spangram first is almost always the best strategy in Strands. Once you know the central connecting word, the thematic logic behind the remaining five words becomes clearer, and your eyes naturally start filtering for the right shapes on the grid. If the spangram is elusive, work on earning hints by entering valid non-theme words rather than guessing blindly.

Today’s puzzle is a fun one, and the “Heebie-jeebies” theme is just creative enough to make you smile even as your streak pressure mounts. If GOOSEBUMPS did not come to you immediately, do not feel bad. The NYT Games team designs these puzzles to keep even seasoned solvers guessing for at least a few minutes.

Active Garena Free Fire MAX Redeem Codes June 22

Garena has server verification systems that quickly process the input codes and usually restrict them after around 5,000 successful inputs. To maximise your chances of redemption, we recommend you copy and paste these codes to the redemption site as soon as possible before the daily limit is exhausted.

Premium Tier: Special Event Vouchers – 4N8M2XL9R1G3, FF6YH3BFD7VT

Global Combat Consumables Pool – FE2R8T6Y4U1I, F7F9A3B2K6G8

Since the code redemption process is impacted by geographical limits, some code strings may not operate effectively depending on the geographical location of the user. When a user sees an unexpected error message when entering their code, it often means that the code variation is not compatible with the geographical server location chosen by them. In such cases, there is no need to worry; this is a typical occurrence owing to these regional allocations.

What is Connections?

Connections is a daily word game from The New York Times. The aim of the puzzle is pretty straightforward – you are supposed to find 4 groups of 4 words with common themes. These groups are arranged in 4 levels of difficulty: Yellow (Easiest), Green, Blue, and Purple (Toughest). There are misdirects and red herrings in the grid that lead you down different paths, but you must make your submissions wisely, as you only get 4 attempts to solve the puzzle. Oftentimes, the Purple category can be a headscratcher with themes that may have something to do with the nomenclature rather than the meaning of the words. You never really know for sure what’s coming your way, and that’s what keeps Connections fresh! You can play it in the NYT Games app or on the NYT website.
