Each month, participants submit entries via Instagram using the relevant contest hashtag, with content evaluated on engagement rate, creativity, originality, and cultural relevance. The program kicked off on May 29, 2026.
Winners are recognised across gold, silver, and bronze categories, with rewards including monetary prizes, the latest OPPO smartphones, and top-of-the-line IoT products. Top entries will also be elevated to a global showcase, giving India’s regional creators the kind of international exposure that was previously reserved for those with big-city connections.
Beyond prizes, the program offers access to masterclasses, on-ground experiences, and professional mentorship. Standout creators can also earn a Meta and OPPO co-certification, a tangible credential in an industry that is still maturing its benchmarks. Near-Lossless Video: The Tech That Makes It Real
There is a very deliberate piece of hardware backing all of this. OPPO is integrating near-lossless video upload capabilities specifically for the OPPO Find X Series on Instagram. This means videos shot on a Find X device retain their original colour depth, clarity, and dynamic range when posted to Instagram Reels, with no visible quality degradation between capture and share. Rishad Chindamada, Vertical Head for Tech at Meta India, described creator partnerships as a business driver, not just an engagement play, and positioned the LUMO Creator Program as a model for translating hardware innovation into authentic, relatable narratives. That framing matters because it signals Meta’s intent to co-build creator tools and experiences, rather than simply licensing its platform.
