Choose your TV: TCL 55P715 Vs Samsung 55RU7100

We are living in a digital-first era, where smart TVs are our go-to entertainment buddy, after smartphones. But when it comes to choosing the best, people often get confused and can’t decide which one to buy, primarily due to the availability of multiple smart TV options in the market. Today, the smart TV sector houses a large number of brands, including both OEMs and smartphone makers, who are frequently coming up with new launches every now and then. In fact, with the evolution of technologies, the smart TV ecosystem has been evolving rapidly with innovative technologies that have redefined the TV viewing experience of new-age users. But in many instances, it is not the advanced features, but their presence at the most reasonable price that attracts the customer to buy a TV. In today’s fierce competition between various smart TV brands, TCL and Samsung are two such players that are leading the game with their unmatched offerings in the market. Here’s a quick comparison between Samsung’s and TCL’s TVs that will help you decide the better brand that offers best-in-class technologies at a price that doesn’t hurt the pocket:

TCL 55P715 TV Vs Samsung 55RU7100 TV:

Display

The Samsung UHD smart LED TV comes with 4K UHD resolution, HDR 10+, UHD Dimming, and Pure Colour for enhanced TV viewing with greater clarity, accuracy, and details. The TCL variant, on the other hand, offers 4K HDR, Dynamic Color Enhancement and Micro Dimming for optimized display and redefined viewing. In short, both the TVs offer almost equal capabilities in terms of amazing picture and image quality, which makes the score, 1-1.

Audio

TCL comes integrated with 30W powerful Dolby Audio speakers, which makes it a winner in terms of audio quality. At the same time, Samsung comes with only 20W sound output. This makes the score 2-1.

Smart Control

The Samsung TV features an intelligent voice assistant, enabling users to speak to the remote and play their favourite content. The TCL device, however, comes with a hands-free voice control feature, where users can directly give commands to the TV and watch movies, shows, or open apps without a remote and just their voice. And with TCL’s AI x IoT, it can connect Google-enabled Smart home devices. This is another aspect where TCL outshines Samsung. The new score is 3-1.

Design and screen size

Again, both the TV have slim and minimalistic designs, and offers full-screen display, providing users with a breathtaking cinematic viewing experience on a bigger screen with an enhanced level of immersion.

Content

With the self-develop UI TCL Channel, which incorporates both global and local content partners, TCL offers literally unlimited content, which allows viewers to enjoy variety; however, Samsung too has a good hour of content, so the score is 4-2.

Price

We have already seen so many features offered by both the brands, with TCL a few points ahead of Samsung. However, the price factor will completely surprise you, and make it very clear why TCL is the absolute winner in this race. The Samsung 55-inch TV is priced at INR 49,150, while the TCL 55-inch TV is worth INR 42,999 with more features than Samsung at a lesser price. This makes the final score, 5-2 with TCL being the ultimate choice for customers who are seeking best-in-class offerings at a lucrative price like this.
