Before you begin

The new ‘hide’ option for activity bubbles restores the viewing experience on Instagram to its previous, distraction-free form. While the bubbles may be gone from your regular feed, you can still view them in the Friends tab. If this feels like a more permanent measure, you can choose to hide bubbles from specific users by muting them. Another way of getting rid of a bubble is by dragging it to the bottom of the screen.

Instagram is rolling out the hide option in a phased manner. If you can’t view it on your device, it means it hasn’t been rolled out for your profile yet. Make sure the Instagram app is updated to its latest version to use this feature.

Wobble 65-inch K-series review: Big screen on a budget

Is a budget 65-inch TV enough in terms of picture, sound, smart features, and light gaming to seem like a smart choice rather than a poor compromise? After testing the 65-inch K-series, the answer is mostly yes. It won’t satisfy cinephiles seeking perfect visuals, but for daily streaming, sports, YouTube, and family viewing, it remains competitive in the busy 4K TV market in India. The K-series features a 65-inch 4K Ultra HD display, Dolby Vision, HDR10, MEMC, ALLM, 40W speakers with Dolby Atmos, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Google TV 5.0 based on Android 14. On paper, this offers great value. In use, the quality is good and sometimes excellent. This is our review of the Wobble 65-inch K-series (2026).

Design

The Wobble 65-inch K-series keeps things simple and sensible. It has a frameless look, a metal-finish frame, and a uniform shell body that helps it appear cleaner than its price tag might suggest. The bezels are slim enough to make the screen feel dominant, which is exactly what a 65-inch TV should do. When the panel is on, the design mostly gets out of the way, and that is a compliment.

The weak spot is the stand. It looks fine and holds the TV in place, but it does not inspire complete confidence. A slight nudge can cause a visible wobble, which feels less than ideal on a screen this large. A centre-mounted stand would have made more practical sense.

The bundled wall mount is usable, though basic. It does the job, but it does not offer much flexibility when you need to reach rear ports. Thankfully, some of the important ports are easier to access from the side. Users will get multiple HDMI and a USB port on the side.

The remote is functional rather than fancy. It is comfortable in hand, the buttons are spaced well, and shortcut keys for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney+ Hotstar are handy. Google Assistant works reliably too, which matters because voice search is often faster than clicking through multiple menus.

Performance

This is where the K-series makes its pitch. The panel is bright, colourful, and easy to like for casual viewing. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, local dimming, digital noise reduction, 4K upscaling, and a wide colour gamut rated at DCI-P3 98 per cent. That sounds impressive, and the TV does reward you with punchy visuals.

Colours are vivid rather than surgically accurate. In plain English, that means shows and movies often look lively and pleasing, even if purists may want more restraint. Cinema mode offers a better-balanced image for regular SDR and HDR content, while Dolby Vision content tends to look more exciting in Vivid mode. Some other presets push contrast too hard or lift blacks too much, so a little tweaking helps.

Black levels and contrast are serviceable, not standout. Dark scenes do not always have the depth or shadow detail you get from more expensive TVs. Still, for web series, sports, reality TV, and general streaming, the panel performs well enough to keep complaints at bay.

Motion handling is decent, and MEMC helps during fast-moving scenes. In fact, switching MEMC to High improves sports and action content noticeably. The 60Hz refresh rate, however, keeps expectations in check. This is not a dream machine for serious console enthusiasts.

The software experience is one of the better parts of this TV. Google TV 5.0 feels modern, clean, and easy to understand. Content recommendations are useful, app support is strong, and features like Google Cast, FastCast, Google Meet, Kids Profile, and watchlists give the TV a well-rounded smart experience.

The issue is speed. The interface is not broken, but it is not always brisk either. App launches and menu navigation can feel a step slower than you want. It never became frustrating enough to ruin the experience, but the occasional lag is noticeable.

For gaming, this is best described as a casual gaming TV. ALLM is welcome, and there is no major calibration weirdness, but the absence of 120Hz and VRR means competitive gamers should look elsewhere. For story-driven titles, racing games, and relaxed couch gaming, it is perfectly acceptable.

The 40W speaker system with Dolby Atmos has enough muscle for regular living room use. Dialogue is clear, volume levels are healthy, and the TV can comfortably fill a medium-sized room.

Where it stumbles is in separation and refinement. Busy movie scenes with music, effects, and overlapping voices can sound crowded. Push the volume higher, and the sound starts losing some composure. It is fine for daily watching, but anyone chasing a richer cinematic feel should budget for a soundbar.

Verdict

The Wobble 65-inch K-series is a sensible big-screen TV for people who value size, smart features, and vibrant visuals over top-tier polish. It looks modern, delivers bright 4K content well, offers useful streaming and casting tools, and handles everyday entertainment with confidence.

At the same time, it is not pretending to be a flagship. The panel lacks the contrast depth that movie lovers may want, the UI can feel sluggish, and the audio is merely decent once the volume climbs. Still, at an indicated price of Rs 39,799, it lands in a sweet spot for mainstream buyers who want a large-screen living room upgrade without financial drama.

For streaming, family entertainment, and day-to-day viewing, this TV will deliver everything and more. It is not a show-off. It is a practical family-pleaser.

The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G price in India starts at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB RAM with 256GB option, and the top-end configuration with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 43,999.

The Poco X8 Pro 5G Iron Man Edition (12GB RAM, 256GB storage) is priced at Rs 34,999.

The Poco X8 Pro 5G will be available in black, green, and white. The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G is offered in black, blue, and white. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart in the country.

The company is also offering a 1-year extended warranty and 1-year screen damage protection on purchases made on March 23 for added peace of mind.

The max model has a Poco 3D Ice Loop cooling system that works well for managing heat. It has a large heat dissipation area of 5,800 square millimetres. The Pro 5G model, on the contrary, has a cooling system with a somewhat lower heat dissipation area of 5,300 square millimetres. The purpose is to keep the temperature stable while doing jobs that need a lot of power.

Nothing’s new midrange smartphone series comes at a turbulent time when rising RAM costs are pushing manufacturers to drive up the prices of their latest releases. While the new Phone (4a) Pro costs a premium over its predecessor, it does have something to show for it. The smartphone flaunts a completely new design while rocking a brighter display and a more powerful chipset than the Phone (3a) Pro (our review here). The battery capacity has received a nifty bump, too. Interested in checking out what will be Nothing’s most premium smartphone this year (the brand has confirmed that it won’t release a flagship device in 2026), we used the Phone (4a) Pro as our daily driver for a week; here is our in-depth review of the smartphone.

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Review: Design and Display

While compelling design language has always been Nothing’s forte, the stylistic shake-up on its midrange offerings every year deserves props. The Phone (4a) Pro looks nothing like its predecessor. The glass back panel has been replaced by a metal unibody. The see-through design is limited to the wide camera plateau. Instead of Glyph lighting, the smartphone gets the Glyph Matrix from the Phone (3) (our review here).  The Phone (4a) Pro is most definitely a looker — arguably the most aesthetically pleasing smartphone in the market, not just the midrange segment.

The right edge of the aluminium unibody houses the volume rocker and the side button. The Essential key makes its way to the right. At the bottom lie the SIM tray, primary microphone, USB-C port, and speaker grille. The noise-cancelling microphone is positioned up top. The earpiece doubles up as the secondary speaker. The Phone (4a) Pro is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance. While this isn’t the best IP rating in the segment, the smartphone can ward off water splashes without taking any damage. Nothing claims that it can survive being submerged up to 25cm in water for 20 minutes.

The 6.83-inch AMOLED display is surrounded by thin, uniform bezels. It can hit 1,600 nits in High Brightness Mode and reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits while playing HDR content. The display requires little effort to overcome bright outdoor conditions and maintain optimal legibility. Its 144Hz refresh rate is limited to 120Hz in most scenarios, but the touch response is smooth as butter. The optical fingerprint scanner under the display is snappy and accurate.

We used the Nothing Phone (4a) as our primary media streaming device during the review period. The 1.5k AMOLED display relayed brilliant visuals packed with exceptional details and vibrant colours. The deep blacks added to the tasteful contrast. The audio output was loud and well-rounded – exceeding our expectations from a setup using the earpiece as the secondary speaker.

However, this divide does not necessarily translate into everyday use as the Phone (4a) Pro expertly handles routine tasks like calling, instant messaging, web browsing, media streaming, and more. As a daily driver, the smartphone leaves no room for complaints. Even demanding tasks like photo and video editing do not leave you wanting more power.

Speaking of demanding tasks, we ran gaming titles like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile on the Phone (4a) Pro. With the graphics and refresh rate limited to medium settings, we were able to get consistent, stutter-free gameplay out of both titles. You can push the frame rate to 120fps in supported titles. The 5,300mm² vapour chamber efficiently dissipates the internal heat, ensuring that thermal throttling is not an issue in extended gaming sessions.

Nothing’s custom Android skin remains one of our favourites in the game. For starters, Nothing OS 4.1 gets the most out of the processor with its clever optimisations. The screen transitions, app animations, and other smooth refreshes make you feel like you’re always on top of things. Aesthetically, Nothing OS has grown into its own over the years. While it still rests on the foundation of stock Android 16, its native home page widgets, dark app icons, and dot matrix font bring a unique flair to the overall software experience.

Nothing OS 4.1 taps into the potential of the Glyph Matrix by letting you assign ‘Essential Notifications’ to specific apps and contacts. Not only can you get it to light up for messages received from certain contacts, but also for specific keywords. If you don’t like the native library of Glyph icons, you can create one using an image in your gallery. Apart from notification alerts, this matrix can also track your Zomato orders and Uber car rides. It doesn’t get the full set of Glyph Toys from the Phone (3), but there are 4 Always-on Glyph Toys that you can pin on the matrix – Digital Clock, Battery/Charging Status, Solar Path, and Moon Phase. In the age of massive Si/C batteries, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro packs a humble 5,400mAh unit under its hood. It gives you a standard 1-day battery life that spills over to the next day if you’re conservative with your usage. On days with 5-6 hours of screen time, we were left with ~25% charge in the tank. Needless to say, the smartphone kept any kind of battery anxiety at bay. The retail box does not come with a power adapter, but the smartphone supports 50W wired charging. It took us just over an hour to fully charge the device.

The rear camera plateau houses a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The red square on this plateau isn’t just an accent – it starts blinking when you start a video recording. Up front, a 32MP sensor is housed in a punch-hole cutout.

The 50MP primary shooter takes good shots in outdoor daylight conditions. The images showcase good details and balanced colours. The preset filters in the native Camera app are fun to play with. In limited lighting conditions, the camera relies on Night Mode to light up the shot and resolve the noise. We like how the smartphone assigns accurate colours to the shot without overexposing any details.

The 8MP ultrawide lens takes relatively softer shots with a slight tonal shift, but the final results are still passable. You can rely on this camera in outdoor daylight conditions. However, in limited lighting, it struggles to get rid of the grain, leading to noisy shots. On the other hand, the 50MP telephoto lens takes pleasing images with 3.5x optical zoom. These shots are much closer to the ones taken by the primary shooter.

Portrait shots taken by the Phone (4a) Pro are detailed and well-focused. You can choose from 3 zoom levels – 1x, 2x, and 3.5x. We stuck to the 3.5x telephoto lens due to its shallow depth of field. The primary shooter often struggled with edge detection while taking portrait shots. The front-facing 32MP camera takes clear and detailed selfies. It keeps tone and texture correction to a minimum, which results in natural-looking shots. This camera can record 1,080p videos at 30 and 60fps. The lack of 4K recording is a bit of a letdown.
