The company has launched the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Olympic Games Edition in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The device features a new shade with an Olympic logo. Besides this, the specifications remain the same as the original headset.

While announcing its partnerships Google said, “Today, we’re sharing the biggest update to Wear ever – built with your preferences in mind. The Japanese laptop manufacturer, VAIO Corporation, has launched a refreshed model of Vaio Z powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The laptop’s highlight is its contoured carbon fibre build claimed to provide durability and lightweight at just under 1kg. It also features a 4K display and is turbocharged with unprecedented speed.
Speaking on the launch, Mr Alex Chung, CEO, Nexstgo Company Limited, said, “We take all the pride in the world to introduce World’s First* 3D Contoured Carbon Fiber laptop VAIO Z in India. With over a decade of relentless carbon fibre research, VAIO has succeeded in creating and mass-producing the world’s first* 3D moulded full carbon chassis for laptop PCs.” He further adds- “With this evolution, the new VAIO Z offers exceptional performance, lightness, endurance, now with true ruggedness, and without compromise, all converging into one elegant design. The achievement of harnessing carbon fibre’s full potential of lightness and durability is both revolutionary and evolutionary as VAIO continues looking ahead.”
The new VAIO Z with contoured carbon fibre build will be available in India with a price tag of Rs 3,52,990. The laptop can be purchased exclusively via Amazon India and will be offered in a single signature Black colour option.

Clubhouse, an invitation-only audio-chat service will soon be available for all Android users across India starting this Friday, May 21. The beta version is already being rolled out in some other countries like Brazil, Japan, and Russia. Its been a year since the Casual, Drop-In audio chat app was launched for iOS users.
The Clubhouse is popular for its audio chats service it provides and is being used by celebrity Elon Musk as well. The beta testing on Android was under the pipeline since May but was limited to the US only. Later on, a public beta of the Android app was rolled out and ahead of India launch the company has rolled it out to Brazil, Japan, and Russia. It should be noted that this is not a stable version of the Clubhouse Android app only the public beta will be released.
Commenting on the release Clubhouse executive said, “we are thrilled to share that Clubhouse for Android will start rolling out in beta immediately. We will begin gradually, with the U.S. today, followed by other English-speaking countries and then the rest of the world. Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see and work to add a few final features like payments and club creation before rolling it out more broadly. Poco has officially unveiled its much-awaited Poco M3 Pro 5G smartphone for the global market. The device features a 90Hz refresh rate supported 6.5-inch full-HD+ display. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Google has just officially released the first public beta for Android 12. All the Google Pixel phones and other eligible smartphones have also received the first Android 12 beta 1 build. Also, many of you who have compatible phones have already begun testing out the new Operating System. But unfortunately, OnePlus and Xiaomi have to pull the beta links as their eligible devices encountered bricking soon after the latest beta version of Android dropped.
Those who have updated to Android 12 took to social media platforms complaining about the bickering issue. The bricked phone issue is mainly seen in those having OnePlus and Xiaomi devices. OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro both are entitled to receive Android 12 beta 1 build. Whereas Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i and Mi 11X Pro are eligible smartphones by Xiaomi.
However, OnePlus on hearing the complaints from the users immediately pulled the beta download links from its platform. The OnePlus staff member informed about its removal of the download links on the official forum. It stated, “I’ve temporarily removed the download links based on the feedback from users in this thread. I’m sharing the feedback with the software team so they can look into it in the morning at HQ.”
On the other hand, the bricking issue is commonly seen on Mi 11 series phones however the complaints are fewer than the OnePlus devices. When the Mi 11 users who are largely affected tried to upgrade to Android 12 their phones were either blocked or bricked whereas some of them made failed attempts to install Android 12 beta.
Although Android Police has detailed a fix for the issue. If you are trying to enrol for the early Android 12 beta software ensure that your phone’s bootloader should be unlocked before the installation so as to be able to successfully migrate to Android 12 on both OnePlus and Xiaomi smartphones. If you don’t follow this process before you start installing the beta, your phone will not be able to get past the setup process where the device verifies your old Google account for FRP (factory reset protection). Toggling OEM Unlock in developer options disables this check.
While those who have not followed the process of updating without unlocking your bootloader and encountered the bricking issue fret, not that too can be fixed with an EDL restore. Poco M3 Pro 5G global launch today: How to watch the Livestream
Poco is all set to announce the addition of its latest 5G smartphone to its portfolio. The Chinese smartphone company today is going to host a virtual launch event to introduce the Poco M3 Pro 5G globally. The device is a follow-up Poco M3 and is a rebadged variant of Redmi Note 10 5G. It is likely to feature a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support. In addition to this, it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and may carry a 5,000mAh battery to juice the phone.
Poco M3 Pro 5G launch event will be hosted virtually today. The online event will kickstart at 20:00 GMT (5.50 PM IST). The event will be live-streamed via the company’s official YouTube channel and across all its social media channels includes Facebook and Twitter. It should be noted that the device was scheduled to launch in India as well and also appeared on the BIS certification website. But in the light of COVID-19 Poco will not launch any new phone in the near future in the country.

As for the pricing, the Poco M3 came with a starting price of $149 globally which translates to Rs 11,000. In that case, the Pro 5G variant will come with a higher price tag. As of now, there are no details on the Indian launch. However, the renders leak suggests that the phone would be available in Black, Blue, and Yellow colour options.

Recently Poco M3 Pro 5G’s specification was teased by the company ahead of the official launch. The device is said to have a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display. It will have a 90Hz refresh rate and DynamicSwitch support. The DynamicSwitch will offer a more flexible viewing experience. As per the company, it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and will have 18W fast charging support. As per the leaked renders, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a hole-punch cutout on the display.
Poco has also confirmed that Poco M3 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. In addition to this, it is slated to feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The teasers also suggest that the handset will be 8.92mm thin and weigh 190 grams.

LaMDA stands for Language model for Dialogue Applications on which the company has been working for a very long time. With this, the company aims to make conversation between the AI and the user more naturally similar to human beings.
LaMDA can engage in a free-flowing way about a seemingly endless number of topics, an ability we think could unlock more natural ways of interacting with technology and entirely new categories of helpful applications. It is an open domain, which means it is designed to converse on any topic.
Unlike other language models, LaMDA is trained in dialogue. During its training, it picked up on several of the nuances that distinguish open-ended conversation from other forms of language. In short, the company strives to make the conversation between AI and human beings sensible and responsible.
In its blog post, Google noted that LaMDA understands quite a bit about the planet, Pluto. So if a student wanted to discover more about space, they could ask about Pluto and the model would give sensible responses, making learning even more fun and engaging. If that student then wanted to switch over to a different topic — say, how to make a good paper aeroplane — LaMDA could continue the conversation without any retraining.
According to Google, LaMDA builds on earlier Google research, published in 2020, that showed Transformer-based language models trained on dialogue could learn to talk about virtually anything. Since then, we’ve also found that once trained, LaMDA can be fine-tuned to significantly improve the sensibility and specificity of its responses.
