How To Save Money On Your Microsoft Office 365 Subscription?

Getting your hands on the full version of Microsoft Office 365 can make a big hole in your pocket. It makes us stand at crossroads, whether should we compromise on our requirements or can we afford to make that big an investment. Fortunately, there are multiple ways in which you can try to save a few bucks while purchasing a new Office 365 subscription. In fact, some cases even allow you to access the full suite for free. Not only do you get to maintain the professional standards of your projects or assignment, but your wallet also stays healthy. Here are the best 4 ways how to save money on your Microsoft Office 365 subscription in 2022.

Get MS Office 365 For Free If You’re A Student Or Teacher

MS Office 365 Education Edition The first method to save money on an Office 365 subscription is for those who are either students or educators at eligible institutions. You can sign up for Office 365 Education Edition for free and get access to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and more such classroom tools. All you need to do is just provide your valid school email address on Microsoft’s website, and you’ll be all set.  Read also: How To Get Windows 10 Key For Free Or Cheap Legally? (2022)

Use The Free Version Of MS Office 365

MS Office 365 Free Version OneDrive Microsoft offers its Office 365 package on a one-month trial basis to anybody for free. You get access to its latest AI-powered apps, up to 6 TB of cloud storage as well as premium mobile features. For availing your free trial, you just have to provide your credit card number. However, after your free trial period ends, you will be charged Rs 4,899 per year for Microsoft 365 Personal or Rs 6,199 per year for Microsoft 365 Family, depending upon the version you availed. You can cancel your subscription before the month-end to avoid getting charged any amount. For a long-term solution, you can also access the different Microsoft applications online for free. You might need to create a new Microsoft account or log into your existing one. This comes in handy to save your work in the cloud on OneDrive. The only catch here is that the functionality of these apps is limited compared to their paid versions. They would have fewer features compared to the full Office 365 suite and you would only be able to use them when online.

Check For Bundles

MS Office Bundles Checking for the availability of Microsoft tools and applications in bundles is another great way to save money on your Office 365 subscription. Purchasing licenses for multiple applications in a bundle reduces the overall cost by a good extent, as compared to getting them individually. For example, you can get Windows 10, Office 365, Azure AD, and more tools in a Microsoft 365 Enterprise or Business plan.  Read also: How To Take A Screenshot On Windows 11 (2022)? 4 Quick And Smart Ways

Apple WWDC 2022: What surprises are in store for us from Apple?

Today, June 6, is the first day of WWDC 2022. Apple is virtually presenting its WWDC 2022 keynote in the evening. Keeping with the tradition, Apple is likely to announce its latest software improvements, iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9, and tvOS 16. Moreover, Apple will also demonstrate its latest hardware at the Worldwide Developers Conference. In addition to this, the company might also introduce the new MacBook Air with the M2 chip. Reportedly Apple plans to debut its own search engine at WWDC 2022.

How to Watch the WWDC 2022 live

This year’s Worldwide Developers Conference will be held today at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. The WWDC 2022 will begin today and run through June 11 in an all-online manner, with live streaming available on iOS devices, PCs, and even Apple TV. The show will start at 10 a.m. PT, which is 10.30 p.m. IST. All developers will be able to watch the conference for free on the Apple Developer app, the Apple Developer website, and the official YouTube channel. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, will deliver the keynote.

What to expect from WWDC 2022?

Apple has a history of announcing software upgrades for the majority of its products, so at WWDC 2022 we may see that over the six days Worldwide Developers Conference. Apple is expected to release a software update for the iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. iOS 16 is expected to be one of the highlights of this year’s WWDC. Reports suggest the upcoming OS will contain notifications enhancements as well as new Messages and Health apps. Medicine management tools, as well as sleep and women’s health tracking, are planned to be added to the Health app. The iOS 16 release is believed to introduce new audio-centric experiences to messaging. The lock screen will also get some new features, including wallpapers with widget-like capabilities. According to reports, the future iPadOS version will get an improved multitasking experience similar to that of macOS. While using multiple programmes at the same time, users have reported being able to resize app windows. This would be an improvement over the current Split View feature, which allows two apps to be open at the same time. MacOS 13 may be given the name Mammoth, which is derived from a place in the Sierra Nevada. Moreover, minor tweaks are expected to macOS 13. The upcoming OS might receive the new version of the Settings app and preloaded Apple apps are also likely to get a makeover this time. This year’s WWDC presentation is expected to include a watchOS 9 upgrade for Apple Watch. The new watchOS release would improve “day-to-day functioning and navigation”. Apple is also rumoured to be working on a capability to detect atrial fibrillation. A new Health app could be released to boost health tracking. Apple will reveal some enhancements in order to keep its Apple TV consumers with the release of tvOS 16. We may anticipate some new capabilities for tvOS, such as the ability to operate smart home devices from a TV. Moreover, at this year’s WWDC event Apple is also speculated to debut.its own search engine. The basis of the speculation is a tweet from writer Robert Scoble. According to Scoble, the information is derived in part from encounters with informants and in part from the deduction. He went on to say, that this is the most expensive product launch of all time. Google Photos integration is coming to the ChromeOS Gallery app for quick editing

According to reports, Google is intending to improve Google Photos’ integration with ChromeOS. A new tool to ChromeOS will be added that would improve the media editor. With the addition of Google Photos, ChromeOS users will be able to make more advanced modifications to the images. Previously, users had to launch Google Photos manually and search for the media files they wanted to modify but they should now be able to open a selected image or video on the Android version of Google Photos thanks to a new option in the editor section. The news comes by way of a report by 9to5Google which claims that Google will add useful capabilities to Google Photos to make it a better editor on ChromeOS. Gallery app will get a handy tool to edit photographs and movies in Google Photos in an upcoming ChromeOS version. The integration of Google Photos to create a more feature-rich editor is intended to allow users to undertake more complex image and video editing. The Gallery app (dubbed “Media App” internally) will use Google Photos to provide additional editing options “more editing tools” than it presently does, according to a set of future flags accessible through chrome:/flags. According to the source, a new option in the editing area would open the current photo or video in the Android version of the Google Photos app with all of its features. From there, you’ll have access to the standard set of Google Photos editing tools, such as advanced white point, black point, skin tone, vignette, and other options. You can do all of this right now on ChromeOS, but you’ll have to manually launch Google Photos and locate the file you want to modify. Overall, this is a tiny update to the Gallery app but useful since it allows Gallery to remain a quick and easy tool while Google Photos does the more in-depth work.
