Poco M3 was launched in India earlier this year. The device was made available in two variants now the company has quietly launched another 4GB RAM variant. So now the device is more accessible as it will be available in a cheaper configuration alongside the 6GB RAM options. While the rest of the specification remains the same. Now the microblogging site is rolling out an automated captions for voice tweets after much criticism for not having captions. Though Twitter offers captions in Twitter spaces which is Clubhouse-like social audio rooms. The Voice tweet functionality works similar to Tweeting with text. The users can use their voice tweet and with the arrival of the new feature, the user will now see captions generated in supported languages.
Twitter announced the rolling out of the captions for voice tweets on its platform via a tweet. The tweet reads, “We’re rolling out voice Tweets to more of you on iOS so we can keep learning about how people use audio. Since introducing the feature in June, we’ve taken your feedback seriously and are working to have transcription available to make voice Tweets more accessible.” The company further added, “ Transcription for audio and video is part of our larger plan to make Twitter accessible for everyone across all features, both existing and new.”
With the introduction of captions for voice tweets, the microblogging platform will automatically generate captions whenever there is a voice tweet that too in supported languages using your device’s language settings. According to Twitter, this functionality will now work accurately if your device language is set to one language and you are speaking another. As of now it supports English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, French, Indonesian, Korean, and Italian.
Right now captions for voice tweets feature is only accessible to the iOS platform. To access the feature click on the CC icon on the top-right corner of the voice tweet window. Note that the captions will be automatically generated on new voice tweets but not on the older ones.
Twitter’s head of global accessibility Gurpreet Kaur stated, “As part of our ongoing work to make Twitter accessible for everyone, we’re rolling out automated captions for Voice Tweets to iOS. Though it’s still early and we know it won’t be perfect at first, it’s one of many steps we’re taking to expand and strengthen accessibility across our service, and we look forward to continuing our journey to create a truly inclusive service.”

OnePlus Nord 2 design revealed: Everything we know about from expected pricing and specifications
Recently OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2 will come with OxygenOS 11 and support two major Android updates along with three years of security updates. In a new reveal the company has revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone prior to the official launch. The next-gen of Nord is scheduled to debut in India on July 22. The device has also been listed on Amazon to tease its availability.
The news comes by way of an Instagram post in which the Chinese smartphone company has shared a photo of the OnePlus Nord 2. The back design is shown in a blue back panel with the OnePlus branding in the middle. The smartphone can be seen featuring a triple rear camera setup that is aligned vertically on the left corner of the phone. The camera set-up mainly consists of two large sensors and one smaller sensor alongside the flash module. The camera resolution has not been revealed but the handset is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel sensor inspired by OnePlus 9 Pro. It is a Sony IMX766 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Previously the company revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have OxygenOS 11 based on top of Android 11 out-of-the-box. The company has also promised to release two major Android updates. In addition to this, the Nord 2 owners will also get regular security updates for three years. The device will be the first to ship OxygenOS release v11.3, based on the integrated codebase after the OxygenOS-ColorOS codebase merger.
Speaking of the pricing, reportedly the device will be offered in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at Rs 31,999. Whereas the 12GB RAM with 256Gb storage model is likely to come with a price tag of Rs 34,999. According to the company, OnePlus Nord 2 is confirmed to carry a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. Additionally, the phone will come with a power button and an alert slider on the right side of the phone and a volume rocker on the left. Poco F3 GT scheduled to launch in India on July 23: Details Inside
The Chinese smartphone company, Poco, has officially announced to launch of its next gaming smartphone. The company has decided to introduce the Poco F3 GT on July 23 at 12 noon in the country. Alongside revealing the launch date the company has also disclosed some of the key features of the upcoming smartphone. The teaser suggests that the smartphone will feature dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. In addition to this, the company has previously shared more information while rolling out teasers ahead of the launch.
Poco F3 GT is scheduled to launch in India on July 23 at 12 noon. Poco is expected to host an online launch event to introduce the smartphone in the country. The Livestream details are yet to be announced however the event will be presented through the company’s social media channels including YouTube. Some of the previous reports suggest that the phone will be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that debuted in the Chinese market a few months ago.
Prior to the official launch, the company has confirmed some of the key features of the Poco F3 GT. The teasers suggest that the device will feature a slipstream design and anti-fingerprint matte finish. Additionally, the frames on the sides are made up of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy. There will be dual-stereo speakers and support for Dolby Atmos too.
Previous teasers also suggest that the gaming smartphone will debut Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black colour options. Poco F3 GT will also have a 22-step engraved matte panel. It will come with a 10 Bit 120Hz AMOLED display offering 1.07 billion colours and HDR10+ support.
Over that, the device will have GT Switch and Maglev Triggers for the best gaming experience. This allows you to game optimally using 4 fingers. It has been paired with shoulder buttons & tactile keys as well. Poco F3 GT will also bring a triple mic set up out of which one is a dedicated gaming mic. To tackle the heating issues while intensive gaming the company has provided vapour chamber cooling tech.
Speculations suggest that the gaming smartphone will be a rebranded variant of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced edition. It might feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC the device will ship MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.
In terms of cameras, the Poco F3 GT will come with a triple rear camera setup that will bring a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.65 aperture. Additionally, there will be an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary lens. Upfront there will be a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
In terms of connectivity, it is most likely to bring Wi-Fi, 5G, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port and more. In addition to this, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. The device will come with an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance. The smartphone will ship a 5,065mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
