We did not experience any ear fatigue after wearing the earbuds for multiple hours.The upper panel of the stem is touch-sensitive and allows users to control the media playback and other settings. Tapping the left earbud three times triggers the gaming mode. The touch controls are tuned nicely. Most earbuds struggle with registering triple touches but that was not the case here. However, these touch controls can get accidentally triggered while trying to adjust the fit of the earbuds.An IPX5 rating ensures that the earbuds are well-guarded against the damage caused by sweat and water splashes. Three taps to the right earbud trigger the voice assistant of your choice.The warm audio output produced by the BTG Ultra focuses on the low end of the frequency spectrum and will certainly appeal to bass enthusiasts. The mids and the highs suffer from the overpowered bass and sometimes fail to gain appropriate representation on the soundstage. We listened to folk, hyperpop, classic rock, and grunge on the BTG Ultra and found the blanket of bass over the mix to dampen the listening experience.Being a gaming-focused TWS, the Truke BTG Ultra does redeem itself with its ultra-low latency. In gaming mode, it can drop down to 40ms latency and relay the in-game audio without any lag or delay. The audio output while playing games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty Mobile is rich in quality. While playing first-person shooter games, the faint taps of approaching footsteps and other subtle sounds were relayed well.The Quad Mic ENC technology does a good job of extracting your voice from the surrounding ambient noises and relaying it to the gaming lobby. The connection was stable and did not drop once while gaming. The sound quality while taking audio and video calls indoors is ideal. The Truke BTG Ultra has a lot of things going on for it. We like its original design, tasteful LED lighting, ultra-low latency setting, and versatile battery. If you’re only concerned with gaming, the BTG Ultra is one of the best buys you can make at this price point. The only catch is the dollop of bass that clouds over the soundstage. It may be up your alley if you’re a basshead, but for those who prefer a more neutral soundstage, there may be better options out there.

The backpack-themed design of the charging case is quite refreshing to see in a segment that isn’t known for products that exude personality. The lid covers three-fourths of the front panel. A button-shaped cutout in the middle of the lid houses the illuminated Truke logo. We prefer this minimal logo to the gaudy RGB lighting.
Flipping open the lid, you’ll find the earbuds nestled in their cutouts in a vertical position. The stem of the earbuds carries the Truke branding and the illuminated logo. The standard in-ear design offers a comfortable, snug fit. We did not experience any ear fatigue after wearing the earbuds for multiple hours.
The upper panel of the stem is touch-sensitive and allows users to control the media playback and other settings. Tapping the left earbud three times triggers the gaming mode. The touch controls are tuned nicely. Most earbuds struggle with registering triple touches but that was not the case here. However, these touch controls can get accidentally triggered while trying to adjust the fit of the earbuds.
An IPX5 rating ensures that the earbuds are well-guarded against the damage caused by sweat and water splashes. We used our review unit of the Truke BTG Ultra while working out and it crushed the performance even when things got sweaty.
The warm audio output produced by the BTG Ultra focuses on the low end of the frequency spectrum and will certainly appeal to bass enthusiasts. The mids and the highs suffer from the overpowered bass and sometimes fail to gain appropriate representation on the soundstage. We listened to folk, hyperpop, classic rock, and grunge on the BTG Ultra and found the blanket of bass over the mix to dampen the listening experience.
Being a gaming-focused TWS, the Truke BTG Ultra does redeem itself with its ultra-low latency. In gaming mode, it can drop down to 40ms latency and relay the in-game audio without any lag or delay. The audio output while playing games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty Mobile is rich in quality. While playing first-person shooter games, the faint taps of approaching footsteps and other subtle sounds were relayed well.
The Quad Mic ENC technology does a good job of extracting your voice from the surrounding ambient noises and relaying it to the gaming lobby. The connection was stable and did not drop once while gaming. The sound quality while taking audio and video calls indoors is ideal. However, it takes a significant hit in outdoor conditions.
The 40mAh battery pack on either earbud offers up to 10 hours of playtime. Using low latency mode and pushing the volume to a higher level consistently limits the battery backup to 7-8 hours. The 500mAh charging case offers an additional 60 hours of playtime. With just a 10-minute quick charge, the earbuds can deliver up to 10 hours of playtime.

Limiting your smartphone usage while you’re outside to only essential tasks will keep it cool during a heat wave. Even the most basic tasks, like texting and web browsing, can cause your phone’s internal temperature to rise drastically when it is exposed to direct sunlight.
Power-intensive tasks like gaming, navigation, video editing, and video recording exert more stress on the battery, causing it to overheat. Carrying these tasks out indoors in the summer can heat up your phone faster than usual. While completely ditching these tasks is impractical, it is suggested that you perform them for a shorter duration of time and give your phone time to cool down.
Proper dissipation of heat is integral in cooling the phone down within an appropriate time window. Your phone’s back panel has a large surface area and is crucial in dissipating the heat generated by the battery and the processor. Placing it against a cool surface can bring the temperature down within seconds. Unfortunately, most phone cases and covers trap the heat and impede its dissipation via conduction. If you notice your phone’s internal temperature rising, take off the case to let the device breathe.
Modern smartphones charge at a ridiculous speed. In the process, the battery generates a lot of heat. In ideal conditions, this heat is quickly lost to the phone’s surroundings, but in a heatwave, it can be very hard to lose. As a precautionary measure, go to Settings>Battery and turn off fast charging. Trickle charging your phone may take time, but it won’t cause it to heat up drastically.

If your phone didn’t ship with a power adapter, buy one from the manufacturer’s website. Counterfeit accessories can often cause your phone to malfunction and overheat.
Out of all the components, your phone’s display consumes the most power. Setting the display to the maximum brightness level not only drains the battery quicker, but also causes it to warm up faster. Turn on auto-brightness or reduce its intensity from the quick settings menu to make sure your phone’s internal temperature remains at an appropriate level.
External cooling systems are designed to keep your phone’s temperature in check while gaming. Most high-end gaming smartphones ship with an external fan in the box. If you’re going through a heatwave, you can attach a mini fan to your phone’s back panel to cool it down. You can grab one from Amazon for as low as Rs 800.
Apps running in the background draw power from the battery and cause it to warm up. If you’re going through a heatwave, you should make sure that your phone is only focusing on the task at hand and not utilising its resources on background apps. Go to the app switcher and close all the background apps. Additionally, go to app settings and limit background usage for every app on your phone.
Update your phone’s OS
Old OS versions consume more power and cause the phone to overheat. Updating your phone to the latest OS version ensures that it is well optimised and makes smarter decisions to efficiently manage power. This prevents it from heating up rapidly. Here’s how you can update your phone.
Step 1: Go to Settings and select Software update.
Step 2: Tap on Download and install.
Step 3: Select Install now.

Your backed-up chats and media files will be restored on GBWhatsApp.
