The software features of online casinos have evolved since their inception and if you can get access to the old versions of online casinos, you would perfectly understand how vast a difference there is. This innovation when you compare some casinos’ interfaces thanks to onlinecasinofinder (New Zealand), you can tell it is largely due to the development of software developers.
What exactly makes online casino software different from regular software and if there are similarities, what would they be?
What is Casino Software?
The whole talk about casino software is not to create yet another mystery in the casino world. There are two main types of casino software and they are:
Online casino software Providers: These are independent companies that are responsible for developing online casino games and the necessary mechanics that make up for playing the games. Any games played by a bettor on any online casino are a product of these software providers or developers. An online casino can be considered as a vessel that houses multiple casino games and the software that is owned by the Casino is what is often referred to as casino software by default.
Casino Software where API integrates: This is a second type of online casino software and it is necessary if the casino operators are different from the game developers. This difference is what makes it necessary for the online casino website to need an Application Programming Interface (API) that is responsible for maintaining the games to work on the designed website. A simple website created when the actual game developer is different from the operator will not work and an integration is required.
Most times, the most popular online casinos have separate software developers and software providers. Many popular developers like NetEnt, Microgaming, etc., are both developers and game providers, unlike a company like SoftSwiss which specialises in creating casino software. Companies like NetEnt develop ready-made online casino software that can be launched by anyone with no need for a deep knowledge of software development. The maintenance of this software is also taken care of by the developers which in any case seems cost-effective than having a separate developer and software provider.
Choosing The Best Casino Software
There can’t be a successful online gambling industry without online casino software, it determines many things about the casino including the quality of games. Having a good gambling experience, and enjoyable and safe gambling is all tied to choosing the right online casino software.
Game Variety
The games on online casinos usually have similar concepts and the major difference has been through the basic themes and game mechanics. Games like pokies no matter which casino have the same game concept but what sets each one apart is the theme used by each casino software provider.
In looking for good online casino software, you should select a software provider that has a variety of games in its library. Having the same website provider and game developer is even better because it allows for a better game offering. And even much better is having a game developer who can develop table games, slots, and live dealer games.
Compatibility
When looking for game and website compatibility, there are 3 software types:
Download Software: This type of online casino software works with an API when it is downloaded into your device, and that’s typically on a desktop. This type of casino software takes up a lot of space on desktop devices and it must meet the requirements of the system in use.
Instant Play Software: This is generally a web-based online casino software which means you can access the games via a browser. These games are often compatible with many devices, from desktops to regular mobile phones.
Mobile Software: Most software developers who do mobile software focus on making the mobile adaptation of online casino games. The only limitation of this type of software is that you may be unable to play the casino games on a desktop.
License
This is the next criterion to consider before choosing an online casino software Provider. Obtaining a license from government gambling agencies is not just limited to the casino operators but also the software providers. Not obtaining an appropriate license from the required body makes an online casino provider just as illegal as an online casino with no license.
Reputation
There are some online casino software providers, but one thing to ensure before choosing one is to consider the reputation of the providers in the casino industry. Reading reviews is a very basic way to get an insight into how a certain software provider is perceived and received among many punters and online casino providers.
Top Online Casino Software Providers
The online casino software provider industry is increasing as much as the casino itself has been increasing and everyone is seeking to be regarded as the best in the industry.
Here are a few companies who have carved a reputation for themselves as the best in the industry:
NetEnt: This is one online casino software pioneer that is still giving its very best since its establishment in 1996. The company has successfully developed more than 200 outstanding casino games and has gotten the license from more than 20 countries. Their best games include Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst.
Playtech: Here is the largest online game software provider currently in the world and their dominance is unarguable. They are the best when it comes to providing a B2B casino business relationship. Their best casino games are slots.
Play’n GO: This is a casino software provider known for its ever-attractive slot games. They have one of the best slot themes that easily captivates punters, old and new alike. Their most popular and most sought-after casino game is Book of Dead.
Microgaming: This is a software provider that is credited with the tag of being the founding company of online gambling. Started way back in 1994 and has still set itself apart as an elite software provider. Mega Moolah which is known as the largest progressive jackpot was developed by Microgaming.

After launching the iQOO Z7 5G back in April, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has added a new ‘Pro’ version to the lineup. Prices for the iQOO Z7 Pro start at Rs 23,999 for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB variant fetches Rs 24,999. Both storage variants sport 8GB of RAM. The Z7 Pro gets some key upgrades over the regular model. It features a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor (compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 920 on the regular Z7) and a stunning curved AMOLED display. We’ve been using the smartphone for a week and going through the ins and outs of the device. Here is our iQOO Z7 Pro review.Read Also:Apple ‘Wonderlust’ Event, September 2023: What to expect?
iQOO Z7 Pro 5G review: Design and Display
The iQOO Z7 Pro ships inside the signature black iQOO box. Inside, you’ll find the smartphone, a clear plastic case, a 67W power adapter, a USB Type-C cable, a quick start guide, and a warranty card. The smartphone is available in two colour options – Blue Lagoon and Graphite Matte.iQOO Z7 Pro’s design is inspired by the Vivo V27. Since iQOO is a subsidiary of Vivo, their products often share the same design language. However, unlike the V27, the Z7 Pro does not have a colour-changing back panel. We got our hands on the Blue Lagoon variant and it looks like a very summery shade of blue. The hue changes from a very light blue around the camera panel to a darker shade at the bottom. The glass back gets a nice matte texture which elevates the in-hand feel of the phone. The plastic frame gets a metal finish as well. The camera island on the black panel gets a large rectangle cutout which looks similar to the one on the V27. This camera island houses the main camera, a depth sensor, and the LED flash which iQOO/Vivo prefer to call ‘Aura Light’.The right side of the frame houses the volume rocker and the power key. The SIM card slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille are located on the bottom edge of the devices. Up top lies the secondary microphone and the left edge is entirely buttonless. The Z7 Pro does not get a secondary stereo speaker nor does it offer expandable storage.A glass back on a smartphone priced under Rs 25,000 is always a good thing, but it isn’t the only distinguishing factor on the Z7 Pro. The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display feels just as premium. The minimal bezels surrounding this curved display become slightly more prominent at the vertical ends. The selfie camera is housed inside a punch-hole cutout. The under-display fingerprint scanner is quick and responsive but could have been placed a bit higher. Overall, iQOO Z7 Pro’s sleek form factor together with its glass back and curved display instantly makes it one of the more premium devices in its price bracket.Design and form factor aside, the AMOLED display on the Z7 Pro offers a very smooth touch response. It can reach a peak refresh rate of 120Hz, allowing a seamless browsing and gaming experience (more on that later). With a resolution of 2400 x 1080p and HDR10+ support, you can watch HD content across your favourite OTT and streaming apps. The video playback is smooth and the pictures are packed with a lot of detail. The contrast and colour richness are tuned pretty well. The range of viewing angles is also optimum. The only downside to the content-watching experience is the lack of a stereo speaker. While the lone speaker can reach a loud volume, the audio output is deprived of an adequate low end.
iQOO Z7 Pro 5G review: Performance and Cameras
As we mentioned earlier, the iQOO Z7 Pro sports a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset under the hood. This is the same SoC that powers the Vivo V27 as well. The Z7 Pro gets 8GB of RAM and two internal storage options – 128GB and 256GB. Handling the OS duties is Android 13 along with Funtouch OS 13.On Geekbench 6, the iQOO Z7 Pro scored 1196 points on the single-core test and 2657 points on the multicore test. The smartphone handles basic tasks without breaking a sweat. Running multiple apps in the background presents no issues at all. Routine tasks like messaging, calling, content streaming, and social media browsing are managed perfectly. The haptics could use some tuning, but the display’s touch response is very good. Browsing through different apps and web pages is snappy and fun.iQOO Z7 Pro’s gaming chops make it a well-rounded smartphone in its price category. It features a 30cm² vapor chamber for efficient liquid cooling. This vapor chamber can cool the smartphone by 1.6°C further than a regular cooling chamber. An instant touch sampling rate of 1200Hz while gaming ensures that every subtle touch gets registered and relayed in no time. We played Call of Duty Mobile at the highest graphics and did not experience any frame drops or unwanted lags. The smartphone started to heat up after 30-40 minutes of continuous gaming, but the performance did not take a huge hit.Talking about the OS, our biggest gripe with Funtouch 13 is the amount of bloatware that plagues the UI. Folders like ‘Hot Apps’ and ‘Hot Games’ are always brimming with unwanted notifications, which need to be constantly cleared. There’s a separate folder for ‘Recommended Apps’ as well. Luckily, the bloatware can be removed by uninstalling the third-party apps and disabling the ‘Hot Apps’ and ‘Hot Games’ folders from the V-Appstore. We would also suggest muting all notifications from the V-Appstore as well. The Z7 Pro gets a 4,600mAh battery which can easily last a day. Even though it isn’t a 5,000mAh unit, we didn’t experience any issues with the battery backup. On an average day which involved using the phone’s camera, taking video calls, gaming, social media browsing, and watching content, we went to bed with around 15-20% charge. Our daily screen on time during the iQOO Z7 Pro’s review period was between 5-6 hours. However, if you’re going to be gaming on this smartphone a lot, expect the battery life to drop down by a small factor. The 67W power adapter provided in the box can juice up this smartphone in just under an hour.Moving on to the cameras, the iQOO Z7 Pro gets a 64MP primary shooter with OIS along with a 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultrawide lens in the Z7 Pro’s rear camera arrangement. While we did miss taking wide-range shots, the primary camera delivers a very good performance. Outdoor shots in natural light had a good dynamic range and colour contrast. The colours were rich and the images packed a good amount of detail. We also liked that the smartphone did not overprocess the images.Pictures taken in limited lighting are slightly on the softer side and display a fair bit of graininess, even with the night mode turned on. The image processing that we had desired was not found while taking pictures at night. This isn’t to say that you wouldn’t want to take pictures with the Z7 Pro when it gets dark, the smartphone still does a good job of artificially lighting the subject.Portrait ShotsWe were pleased with the portrait shots we took using the iQOO Z7 Pro. The smartphone does a good job of separating the subject from the background and applying the blur effect adequately. The camera app has a bunch of fun filters that you can use while taking portrait images of other people. The 16MP selfie camera also takes decent shots, but we do not like the overt skin tone and texture correction that takes place in image processing. The selfies have a good level of contrast and display vibrant colours, which is a big plus. The Z7 Pro can also record 4K videos at 30fps using the rear camera and 1080p videos at 30fps using the selfie camera.Read Also:Samsung Galaxy S23 FE gets listed on Chinese regulator TENAA: Tech specs revealed
Verdict
iQOO Z7 Pro is one of the most premium phones in its price category if we only take the form factor, design, and display into account. The lack of an ultrawide camera and a stereo speaker keeps it from being the standout phone in the segment. However, if you don’t care about those two missing features, the Z7 Pro is easily one of the best phones you can buy at Rs 23,999.

What to Expect from today’s Apple ‘Wonderlust’ Event?
Apple launches new iPhone models and other products at the same time every year, and this year might be no different. It’s expected that the company will unveil the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max tonight at the Apple event. Additionally, the release of the Apple Watch Series 8, Watch Pro, and AirPods Pro 2 are planned. Likewise, we will learn the exact dates for the release of watchOS 10 and iOS 17.According to reports, the new device’s designs and features would differ significantly from those of their previous iterations. Several sources have suggested these differences over the past few months. Also Read:Apple ‘Wonderlust’ Event, September 2023: What to expect? There have been numerous rumours regarding the features, anticipated looks, and possible colours of these variants. The switch from Apple’s exclusive Lightning port to a USB Type-C port will be one of the most significant improvements to the next iPhones this year. The company will only permit the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 to work at USB 2.0 speeds. The USB-C port on the iPhone 15 might be similar to the present Lightning Port. Since future iPhones contain a Retimer chip, which is frequently seen on high-speed data transmission devices that enable Thunderbolt and USB 4 for high-speed transfers, they may offer data transmission speeds of up to 40Gbps. The wire will most likely contain 16 connectors and be 1.6 metres length. Additionally, it will support USB 2.0 connectivity and 20V at 3A charging. The cable-related information that has surfaced indicates that the included adapter will handle data transfers up to 480Mbps.Apple will also stick to tradition and power the iPhone 15 model with the same CPU that ran the iPhone 14 Pro devices. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max variants will be powered by Apple’s most recent Bionic A17 processor.According to reports, the iPhone 15 will maintain its previous 6.1-inch display. Most likely, the base model will make use of the dynamic island notch. A new “Action Button” that may be customised will also take the place of the actual mute switch. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus’ primary rear sensor will have a resolution of 48 megapixels.
