Indian financial services company Freecharge has launched a range of brand new features for its online payment platform to assist small and medium-sized businesses. Freecharge began operations in August 2010 and is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana in India. The company specializes in financial services, particularly with regards to savings, insurance, investment, loans, and payments. The company gained a foothold in the competitive Indian financial services market by providing a platform that allowed customers to pay for utility bills and recharge mobile and broadband internet data quickly through its platform, which is far easier than going into the bank or a supermarket to do so. Freecharge’s latest innovations are aimed at small and medium-sized businesses and make it easier for them to conduct their financial affairs on its digital payment platform. Among the new features to be launched are Paisa Plus, payment links, dynamic QR codes, a digital Khata book, and on-demand account settlement. Paisa Plus is a handy feature for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) because it allows companies on Freecharge’s platform to issue digital gift cards to customers. These can be in the form of a discount offer or reward to regular customers. Rewards programs are excellent for creating loyalty with customers and encouraging repeat business. They are rapidly growing in popularity online. Another example is the Indian app StepSetGo, which rewards its customers with coins that can be redeemed for Amazon vouchers and other goodies. The great thing about a digitized Khata book is that customers can be added or removed quickly; it is far easier to sort through accounts and keep track of everything. On top of that, many functions can be automated. For example, reminders can be sent to customers with outstanding accounts, or you can flag customers that regularly pay on time and reward them. “We are focused on offering unique and smart solutions that not only help in increasing digital transactions but also offer value to businesses and customers, thereby aid in quicker adoption of the payment platform. We are hopeful that our customers and merchants would continue to have an impeccable experience on the app which would strengthen the merchant and customer relationship. Last month Xiaomi’s executive teased the arrival of Mi 11 Lite for the Indian market. Today the company has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming smartphone. Mi 11 Lite is set to launch in India on June 22. Prior to its launch in the country, the smartphone was launched in China, however, it is not yet confirmed whether the company will bring the 4G or 5G model to the market. According to the company Mi 11 Lite is scheduled to launch in India on June 22 at 12 noon. The launch event is not yet confirmed but the company is expected to host it online only.  While making the announcement the company said, “We are back with another exciting launch bringing the #𝑠𝑙𝑖𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑡, the #𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡 and the most #𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐝 smartphone of 2021! The Mi 11 Lite 4G runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.  In terms of imaging, there is a triple camera set up on the rear panel that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 and a 5-megapixel tele macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. For taking photos and videos there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture. For connectivity, Mi 11 Lite includes Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors on the phone include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, linear motor, IR Blaster and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes with a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The pricing of the Mi 11 Lite starts at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs 26,266) for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. These devices are similar in specs however the latter one comes with two additional features apart from printing, which is scanning and copying. Both can deliver 3,800 sheets of 4×6-inch prints and feature a 6 colour all dye ink tank system. After launching Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the UK, the tablet is all set to make its way to the Indian market soon. The company has officially announced to launch the tab on June 23 in India. The device has also been listed on Amazon ahead of the launch to tease its availability. The listing also reveals the key highlights of the device that includes a 5,100 mAh battery and an 8.7inch display with Dolby Atmos support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is powered by MediaTek Helio P22T and runs Samsung One UI based on top of Android 11 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is scheduled to launch in India on June 23. The company has not planned a launch event and would simply list it on the e-commerce website Amazon. This means as soon the device is announced it will be immediately available for purchase at 12 noon. As of now, there is no confirmation whether both Wi-Fi or LTE models will be available or not.

To recall Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was launched last month in May at GBP 149 that translates to Rs 60,650 for the WiFi model while the LTE model will be available at GBP 179 that translates to Rs 18,450. The tablet was offered in two colour options, Grey and Silver.  On the specifications front, the Tablet features an 8.7-inch display. The tablet runs Samsung One UI based on top of Android 11 and is powered by MediaTek Helio P22T paired with up to and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. In addition, there is a single 8-megapixel main sensor on the back of the phone and a 5-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies on the front. It also packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.  For connectivity, there is 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In our previous report, we shared that Vivo is soon going to bring another new smartphone to the Indian market. The device was identified as Vivo Y73 as it was spotted on the Google Play Console listing, therefore, hinting at launch. However, the company did not officially announce the arrival. But fresh news is that the Chinese smartphone company has officially announced and has scheduled to launch Vivo Y73 in India on June 10. In addition to this, the tech firm has also shared the teaser showcasing the design of the handset.  Vivo Y73 is all set to launch in India on June 10 at 12 noon. Although the company has officially made the announcement of the release but did not confirm whether it will be an online launch or just make an announcement of the phone by listing it on the online shopping portal.  The released teaser gives the first look at the Vivo Y73, which showcases the triple camera setup on the back of the phone. A stylish two-colour design can be clearly seen donning a 3 design pattern reflecting bluish pink hues.  Also Read: Vivo Y73 tipped to launch in India within a week, price and key specs also tipped Not much has been revealed but the device is tipped to be priced around Rs 20,000 for the 8GB RAM along with the 3GB extended RAM variant in the country. According to reports, Vivo Y73 will be featuring an AMOLED display on the front. On the back of the device it will carry a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The shared render revealed a vertically placed rectangular-shaped triple rear camera set-up with three sensors placed in a triangular formation.The Vivo branding is placed on the lower back on the left side of the rear panel. The Google Console listing confirmed that the upcoming phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio G90 SoC (MT6785). It will be available in 8GB RAM and will ship Android 11 out of the box. Moreover, the handset is likely to feature a full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. Moreover, according to a tipster Vivo Y73 is likely to come with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display having 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The display will offer a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 408 ppi pixel density, a 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, along with HDR10 support. The device is said to run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. It is likely to be powered by MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. In terms of cameras, the device is most likely to feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. While on the front, it is said to include a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.  In addition to this, Vivo Y73 is expected to further include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. It is likely to pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
