This revolutionary musical experience, powered by Sony’s spatial sound technologies, evokes feelings of being in a music studio or live concert venue – all without leaving the comfort of home.
“360 Reality Audio is a powerful platform that brings listeners an experience that honors the creator’s true intent, and brings artists and fans even closer together. Currently, listeners can access approximately 4,000 songs in 360 Reality Audio from artists like Alicia Keys, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah Cyrus, Zara Larsson, and more. However, Sony has now added new capabilities to this innovative music format. The company further added, “To showcase these new video capabilities, Sony Music Entertainment artist Zara Larsson will release an exclusive live performance in 360 Reality Audio on January 11 at 5:00 PM EST. Viewers will be able to stream this performance with the Artist Connection app1 on a smartphone. With select Sony headphones and the Sony | Headphones Connect app2, users can also optimize their experience by analyzing their individual ear shape to enjoy a custom immersive musical field that is perfectly optimized for them.”
Sony further revealed that the 360 Reality Audio makes it possible to create a lifelike music experience, giving listeners the impression that they are in a live concert setting. The company also added that to use this spatial sound technology to create an innovative solution for music lovers who are not able to enjoy live concerts due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Sony has announced the FX6 (model ILME-FX6V) camera that’s a new entry in the company’s Cinema Line, a series of products that brings the company’s expertise in imaging technology to a broad range of filmmakers and content creators.
According to the company, the all-new FX6 incorporates Sony’s core technologies of image sensor, processing engine, and AF (autofocus) performance. It is compatible with the wide range of Sony E-mount lenses for creative flexibility.
Emphasising that the new FX6 is the latest example of Sony’s drive to continuously push the boundaries of imaging technology based on the needs of its customers, Neal Manowitz, deputy president of Imaging Products and Solutions Americas, Sony Electronics, said, “With the advancement of our Cinema Line, we are dedicated to enabling the extraordinary skills and talent of today’s content creators and cinematographers. The FX6 leverages technology from Sony’s industry-leading VENICE cinema camera and marries it with the best of Sony’s innovative Alpha mirrorless camera technology.”
As far as the full-frame Cinematic Image Quality is concerned, the new camera features a 10.2 MPiii full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor that delivers a 15+ stop wide dynamic rangeiv with high sensitivity and low noise. FX6’s base sensitivity is ISO 800 with an enhanced sensitivity setting of ISO 12,800v – expandable up to 409,600vi – for shooting in low and very low light conditions. In addition to this, the FX6 also comprises of a BIONZ XR image processing engine that was earlier used in the new Sony Alpha 7S III camera.

In a teaser video that Samsung has posted on Twitter, the Galaxy Buds Pro true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones is likely to be launched on January 14 at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Mind you! This event that will be live-streamed alongside CES 2021.
If reports are to be believed the Galaxy Buds Pro will make way along with the flagship Galaxy S21 smartphone series. The reports further revealed that Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will be launched a few months after the unveiling of the Galaxy Buds Live.

Xiaomi has officially launched two new devices in the market under its sub-brand Redmi. The company has introduced Redmi Note 9T and Redmi 9T in the European market which is said to be a twisted variant of Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 4G respectively. Both these Note 9 devices have already made their debut in China in November last year. The Redmi Note 9T is a 5G variant while the Redmi 9T is a 4G version. The Unpacked events by Samsung are by far one of the most sought after and looked forward to events of the year when it comes to Android devices. Samsung is the global market leader in Android devices and their first launch of the year 2021 is going to be Samsung S21 series, the worthy upgrade to last years S20 series. According to the Belgian carrier website, the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be priced at Euro 849 (Rs 76,400 roughly), which comes with 128GB storage. Samsung Galaxy S21+ that has 128GB will come with a price tag of Euro 1,049 (Rs 94,200 roughly) and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was listed for Euro 1,399 (Rs 1,26,000 roughly).

OnePlus Fitness Band will soon make its first debut in India. However, it has been tipped many times that the device will initially launch in India before any other market. In a new development, according to a tipster, the first wearable device by the Chinese company is now tipped to launch in the country on January 11. The device is also said to come under the budget segment and will give a tough fight to the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band series.OnePlus took to Twitter to share its first teaser of the fitness band with does not confirm the official name of the wearable but says Coming Soon. Also now specification has been revealed until now but a dedicated page for the OnePlus fitness band has been launched via the Indian website. The microsite includes a Notify e button along with a Pursuit of Fitness quiz allowing consumers a chance to win the fitness band.Apart from this, the fitness tracker has also been listed on Amazon suggesting its availability. The listing on the e-commerce website also highlights the dedicated app for the OnePlus Band which shows that the fitness band will include a sleep monitor.In the meanwhile tipster, Mukula Sharma has shared on Twitter that the upcoming device by OnePlsu is expected to get launch on January 11 and could be [riced around Rs 2,499. In addition to this, he has also shared some images of the OnePlus Band which is said to be available in three colour options- Black, Navy, and Tangerine Grey.

In what is being regarded as a landmark deal for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) industry in India, home-grown Indian brand boAt has raised approximately $100 million from an affiliate of Warburg Pincus that is a global private equity fund focused on growth investing.
With a rapidly emerging presence in adjacent consumer-focused, lifestyle electronics categories, the company claims that boAt is the number one brand in personal audio in India (headphones, earphones, sound-related accessories). Its product portfolio offers well-designed, distinctive products at attractive price points. boAt continues to achieve more than 100 percent rapid revenue growth and exhibits a strong profitability profile.
Welcoming Warburg Pincus as a new investor into the company, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder, boAt said, “This is a vote of confidence for our business model and growth prospects. The investment is great news for not only the company but for the entire D2C sector. The investment has come at the right time as we make efforts to ramp up our manufacturing and global supply chain.”
Furthermore, boAt claims that it has also emerged as the 5th largest wearable brand globally, according to IDC data. The company also stated investment by Warburg Pincus will enable the company to further fortify its leading market position, widen its R&D capabilities and product portfolio, and build on boAt’s efforts to create and support a manufacturing ecosystem under the Make-in-India initiative, enabling the manufacture of products in India.

After being spotted on the BIS certification website which suggested an imminent launch of Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G in India the company has officially confirmed to launch the device in the country now. The device is set to launch in India on January 18. To recall the smartphone was launched in China last month and is a follow-up of Oppo Reno 4 Pro. However in China, the company has introduced three models- Oppo Reno 5 5G, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G but here the company is only launching the Pro variant.Oppo has officially made an announcement on Twitter that Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G will be launching in India on January 18. The launch event will be held virtually and kick start at 12.30 noon. The company has not yet shared the pricing nor its availability details. In addition to this, a dedicated page has also gone live showcasing the key highlights of the upcoming smartphone.To recall it was launched in China in December in two variants of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,399 that translates to Rs 38,200. While the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model comes at CNY 3,799 that translates to Rs 42,700. The smartphone is available in three colour options of Aurora Blue, Moonlight Night, and Starry Night.
As for specifications, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G will be featuring a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 90Hz of refresh rate.
