When it comes to features, Samsung’s F-series smartphones are quite promising. It has everything at a reasonable price. We’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy F22 for a while now, and this is our long-term review. The phone costs Rs 11,999. It has a 90Hz HD+ SAMOLED display, a large 6,000mAh battery, and a 48-megapixel quad camera setup. Let’s look at if the smartphone is worth picking up?
Samsung Galaxy F22 Review: Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy F22 has a simple design that includes a plastic back and curved edges. Denim Blue and Denim Black are the available colours. For the review, we have the former shade. The back panel has a textured finish with horizontal stripes, which provides a good grip but does not give the phone a very premium appearance. The phone weighs 203gms and has a heavy feel to it. The buttons on the side could have been placed better. The fingerprint scanner is set a little higher than we would like, making it difficult to reach with one hand. As a result, the volume rocker placement is further away, requiring you to stretch your thumb to reach both buttons. On the other side of the frame, there is a SIM tray, as well as a microSD card slot for storage expansion. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type C port, and a downward-firing speaker are located on the bottom of the device. The Samsung Galaxy F22 also has a 6.4-inch HD+ SAMOLED Infinity-U display. The screen has a resolution of 700×1,600 pixels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a brightness of 600 nits. The Galaxy M32, which has a similar SAMOLED display, was recently reviewed by us. The contrast level is excellent, with saturated colours and sufficient brightness when used both indoors and outdoors. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 safeguards the display from scratches and breakage. Because the screen only supports HD viewing, the sharpness is slightly diminished when compared to other phones. The touch response on this phone is poor but it does have a 90Hz refresh rate, which aids in making the interface smooth and fluid.
Samsung Galaxy F22 Review: Performance and Cameras
In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy F22 is powered by a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The device is available in two configurations: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The fact is that the company includes this chipset in all of its mid-range smartphones. To be honest, we’re not thrilled with the chipset’s performance, but it’s not terrible either for the price bracket. The processor is capable of handling day-to-day tasks well, particularly when combined with Samsung’s UI. The phone comes with Samsung’s UI on top of Android 11. The UI is similar to that of other Samsung handsets, but it does come with pre-installed apps, many of which can be uninstalled immediately to make room for other apps. The phone handles lighter applications nicely and performs well too when multitasking. The handset is fine-tuned to keep apps in memory for a longer period of time. Gaming, on the other hand, is only adequate given the price tag. Call of Duty is playable at medium to high graphics and decent framerate settings. After about 30 minutes of gameplay, the phone gets a little warm, which most in the category do. In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy F22 features a quadruple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 13-megapixel camera sensor is located on the front of the device for selfies and videography. The camera specifications are comparable to those of the Galaxy M32. The images from the F22 come out softer at times, but not bad. The colour reproduction on both phones is identical, but we believe the F22 has a better dynamic range and contrast. While the ultra-wide photos are only sufficiently accurate, they can be used when necessary. The ultra-wide images come out a bit dark, but considering the price, we have no complaints. macro shotWe were astounded by the portrait results. They were superior to the Galaxy M32. The background separation and colour appear natural and pleasing, while the subject’s skin tone appears smooth and pinkish in tint. The nighttime images are surprisingly good, despite our disappointment with the M32 in this regard. The selfies appear softer, but we prefer the ones taken by M32. Why you ask? The selfies on the Galaxy F22 are soft and have slightly dull colours. So, in one department the F22 wins and in the other the M32.The Samsung Galaxy M32 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery. It easily lasts for days when multitasking, watching videos, gaming, browsing the web, and scrolling through social media feeds. However, you only get a 15W charger, which takes a long time to charge the device. Instead, we recommend, a 25W charger should be purchased separately for faster charging.
Verdict
When we consider the phone’s price (Rs 11,999), we are quite pleased with its performance. The Samsung Galaxy F22, is best suited for light gaming, but the likes of demanding games such as Call of Duty can be played too. This, in our opinion, is the best budget smartphone available on the market right now.Pros
Long battery life
Vibrant display
Clean UI
90Hz refresh rate support
Cons
Slow charging
Dull Selfies

It’s in human nature to be clumsy sometimes and many of you might have spilt water on your smartphone. At times, the water might have been trapped inside your smartphone’s speaker, accidentally. Now all you can hear is a muffled sound and that is irritating and painful. Tired of hitting your smartphone again and again to expel the water? Confused about how to remove water from phone speaker? Worry not, here are some steps you can use to clean water from your smartphone’s speaker easily.
Check for built-in feature
Hearing the muffled sound for the first time might have scared you by thinking you might have damaged your phone. In most cases, many phones have some water protection even with no IP rating. As a result, many companies put built-in features for cleaning smartphone’s speakers. For example, in MIUI, it can be found in Setting>Additional Setting>Clear Speaker. Try searching for similar phrases like “clean speaker”, “speaker cleaner”, etc.Read Also:UC Web launches UC Cleaner booster app for Android
Use third party application
If you are not successful in finding any such option, try using a third-party application like Speaker cleaner – Remove water & fix sound. The app will play the sound in such a frequency that the water will eject from your speaker automatically. Install the application and grant permissions. Start the app and run it until you hear a clear sound and don’t see any moisture near the speaker grill (make sure you are not connected to any Bluetooth earphones or speakers during this time).
Let it sit
If none of the above methods work, let the phone sit for a while in a downwards facing position (of the speaker). The water may take time to evaporate or eject from the speaker grill. Just leave the phone at room temperature for 24 hours and see if it fixes the problem. Also, we do not advise keeping the phone in direct sunlight or an extremely hot place in order to achieve this solution as it will damage the internals of your Android smartphone.Read Also: How to clean your laptop?
Bonus tip: Use web
If you don’t feel like using any third-party application, we still have a solution for you. Head to Fix My Speakers 🔊 and press the blow button. It is an online solution that works exactly like the application above. Also, use it when away from pets or children as it produces a loud noise, which may disturb them or other people. These are some simple ways to remove or clean water from your smartphone’s speaker. If none of these features work for you, there are chances that you might have damaged your smartphone and the only way left to fix it is to reach the nearest service centre. There might be the chance that the water has gone deep inside and there will be very little time for you now to get your phone fixed before it is gone forever.

The power button is one of the most essential pieces of hardware as it controls the screen of your phone and much more. There can be a lot of reasons why your power button may become unresponsive or get stuck. From wear and tear, water damage to software bugs can cause your power button to stop working. As you might have noticed by now, it is extremely painful and difficult to use a phone without a power button. Now the question is how to turn on your Android smartphone without the power button. Worry not, here are a couple of workarounds that you can use to solve your problem.Read Also:iPhone 16 Series: Everything we know so far
Turn on your screen
To operate anything on your smartphone you need to first turn on the screen. If the power button is not working then how do you do that, you ask? Just plug your phone into the charger or ask someone to call the number your phone is using. Another brilliant way is to use a fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is working on your phone all the time. Just place your registered finger on the scanner and this should allow you to use your phone.
Fix the power button
If your phone’s power button is broken, it can be quite tricky to restart it. Luckily, fixing it doesn’t always have to be tedious. There are a couple of ways you can go about it, depending on the nature of the problem. If your power button isn’t working due to the dirt that has accumulated around it, take a cotton swab, dip it in isopropyl alcohol, and gently rub the area surrounding the power button. If the button is stuck, take a hair dryer and use it to warm up the button. This will loosen it up a little.
Use third-party application
There are plenty of third-party applications on the Google Play Store. These applications help you to revamp your buttons. For such a task our choice is Button Mapper. All you have to do is install the application from the Play Store. Next grant all the permissions that the applications ask. Once this step is done now you will get tons of new options from which you can easily remap your power button to any other button.Read Also: Twitter found testing scheduling feature for web browser
Scheduled Power on/off
If you don’t want to use a third-party application and all you want is to restart your smartphone? You can use the scheduled power on/off feature. This feature is available on all Android smartphones. Just head to Setting>Accessibility>Scheduled power on/off (if you don’t find it here just type it on the setting search bar). It’s good to keep this setting if your phone’s power button gives you trouble. For instance if your phone has shut down due to some reason, at least it will turn on at the scheduled point. Also, you can set small intervals on schedule to restart your phone.
Using ADB Command (little computer skills required)
