Instagram is rolling out a new security feature on its platform namely Security Check. This feature is being brought for the accounts that were hacked in the past. According to the company, this privacy feature will make the Instagram account more secure by guiding users whose accounts may have been hacked, through the steps needed to secure them. This includes checking login activity, reviewing profile information, confirming the accounts that share login information and updating account recovery contact information such as phone number or email.Facebook-owned social media app Instagram via blog post said, “Security Checkup is another way that we are working to keep Instagram accounts as secure as we can. But there are several other steps that we recommend everyone also take to make their account even more secure”.The photo-sharing app has shared some steps that will make the Instagram account more secure. The first step is the two-factor authentication, the users are strongly recommended to enable the TFA using WhatsApp in certain countries. Besides this, the users can also enable TFA using their phone number, or an authenticator app like Duo Mobile or Google Authentication. Instagram has also detailed that people should update their phone number associated with your device by doing this if something happens to your account you can be easily reached by the company. These steps let you recover your account even if your info has been changed by a hacker. Instagram also stated that it never DMs any of its users. “Over the past few months, we’ve seen a rise in malicious accounts DMing people to try and access sensitive information like account passwords. They may tell you that your account is at risk of being banned, that you are violating our policies around intellectual property, or that your photos are being shared elsewhere. These messages are often scams and violate our policies. Instagram will never send you a DM.”Whenever the company comes across these kinds of scams it immediately takes action against them and has sent notices at the top of people’s Inbox to warn them about these messages over the past 2 months. Although the users are encouraged to report the content and block the account. As per the blog post, the company will reach you via the ‘Emails from Instagram’ tab in your settings, which is the only place you will find direct and authentic communication from Instagram on the app.The app users can also report individual pieces of content by tapping the three dots above a post, holding on to a message, or by visiting an account and reporting directly from the profile.In addition to this, you can also enable login requests so that when someone tries to log in to your account from an unrecognised device or web browser the company will be able to notify by providing the details of which device tried logging in and where it’s located. Asus AIO 241e review: Design and Display
Out of the box, the Asus AIO 241e screams for attention. The gold outlook is very modern and premium. However, the edge to edge 24-inch display without any bezel is what takes the cake away. The front bottom has a golden panel, which has an HD camera, a couple of MICs and speakers.
Turn it around and you will find a flurry of USB 3.1 ports, HDMI in and HDMI our ports along with an Ethernet port. The power button can also be seen here on the right side. The bottom also has a mode switch (which can switch modes from PC to a set-top box or gaming console), a 3.5 mm audio port as well as an additional USB port, in case you want to connect a pen drive.
With the Asus AIO 241e, the users get full QWERTY with NUM pad wireless keyboard and mouse. They run on dual triple-A and single double-A batteries. Both work well for daily use, but in case you want to game, then you would want a better keyboard and mouse. The golden metal stands ads to the show on the AIO and with the golden keyboard and mouse, it just looks fantabulous.
Coming to the display, we went gaga over it. Asus AIO 241e comes with an anti-glare FHD LED display that can protrude sharp imagery and vivid colours. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 250 nits of peak brightness. We played a lot of Netflix videos as well and YouTube content and the AIO did not disappoint us. The sound compliments the display perfectly in the form of 3W x 2 speakers.
Asus AIO 241e review: Performance
When it comes to the technical specifications of the Asus AIO 241e AIO, the PC has an Intel Core i5 11th Gen CPU with a clock speed up to 2.4 GHz. The machine also comes with 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD (PCIe), 1TB HDD and an onboard graphics unit. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 built on Windows 10 Pro are also there.
Overall, we found the Asus AIO 241e to be quite good. We played games like DOTA 2 and CS: Go on it and both ran between 60-90FPS with ease on high settings. There is almost no bloatware and Asus has done a good job to optimise this AIO. The best part about this AIO is that you can connect an external device such as the Xbox or the PlayStation and play games using its large screen. A 90W power adaptor comes in the box and that is the amount of energy this AIO consumes. Which when compared to a regular desktop is much less.
The keyboard and wirelessmouse work well and we had no problems with them for regular office use. We did a few office meetings on the Asus AIO 241e, too, and the results here were desirable too. All in all, a good machine for office or entertainment needs.
Verdict
Asus has done a very good job in designing the Asus AIO 241e. We loved the golden look and feel. The machine is quick, loads applications and software swiftly and there is hardly any lag. At Rs 64,990 the machine can very well be your next buy if you are in the market looking for a desktop PC that will cater to your office needs, but not consume a lot of power. The only thing that can be better here is if the RAM was 16GB in the same price bracket.

Now the users will be able to track the timing of the DTC bus to arrive at the bus stop using the Google Maps application. With the Asus AIO 241e, the users get full QWERTY with NUM pad wireless keyboard and mouse. They run on dual triple-A and single double-A batteries. Both work well for daily use, but in case you want to game, then you would want a better keyboard and mouse. The golden metal stands ads to the show on the AIO and with the golden keyboard and mouse, it just looks fantabulous.
Coming to the display, we went gaga over it. Asus AIO 241e comes with an anti-glare FHD LED display that can protrude sharp imagery and vivid colours. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 250 nits of peak brightness. We played a lot of Netflix videos as well and YouTube content and the AIO did not disappoint us. The sound compliments the display perfectly in the form of 3W x 2 speakers.
Overall, we found the Asus AIO 241e to be quite good. We played games like DOTA 2 and CS: Go on it and both ran between 60-90FPS with ease on high settings. There is almost no bloatware and Asus has done a good job to optimise this AIO. The best part about this AIO is that you can connect an external device such as the Xbox or the PlayStation and play games using its large screen. A 90W power adaptor comes in the box and that is the amount of energy this AIO consumes. Which when compared to a regular desktop is much less.
The keyboard and wireless mouse work well and we had no problems with them for regular office use. We did a few office meetings on the Asus AIO 241e, too, and the results here were desirable too. All in all, a good machine for office or entertainment needs.
The Verse 3 users will also be able to better understand their heart health with high and low heart rate notifications. You can receive on-wrist and in-app notifications if your device detects that your heart rate goes above or below your set heart rate threshold. If you receive a notification, you can also take a survey in the Fitbit app to better understand what’s going on and to share it with your doctor.
With the new on-device clock face switcher the Fitbit users will easily be able to swap their clock face without leaving the main screen. All you need to do is long-press the clock face for a few seconds to open the Clocks app to choose from a selection of up to five of your favourite clock faces.
Whereas the new goal celebrations will be available to all the fitness smartwatches that will allow the users to stay motivated offering bright, colourful animations when you reach your main goal.
Furthermore, the Fitbit OS 5.2 update will bring more features like Snore & Noise Detection, Google Assistant support and Alexa voice service.
The Fitbit wearables now have the ability to detect that you are asleep, the microphone on your Sense or Versa 3 device samples sound every few seconds to monitor snoring and the ambient noise level in your bedroom. These features will let it stay informed of your sleeping environment with a sound analysis of your sleep so you can discover what might be disrupting your sleep and causing your awakenings or restlessness. As of now, the feature is available for a limited number of Premium users to join.
With Google Assistant support you can now check the weather, set reminders and alarms, control smart home devices and more, now with real-time audible responses. Note that the audio response is optional and can be turned off. Fitbit has also introduced Alexa Voice Service in India and now the devices will have the added capability to receive replies in the Hindi language from the on-device voice assistant, making it easier than ever to stay connected.
