Samsung Big TV Days offers up to 20% Cashback on Big Screen TVs

With the announcement of exciting Samsung Big TV Days, the company has offers on its 55-inch and above premium range of televisions at all leading consumer electronics retailers across the country. Mind you! The offers during the Samsung Big TV will be valid till January 31, 2021.

According to Samsung, “Consumers can access unique offers with assured benefits on purchase of large screen Samsung TVs – 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch and 85-inch QLED TVs, Crystal 4K UHD, QLED 8K TVs. Additionally, consumers can avail up to 20 percent cashback and extended warranty offers coupled with EMI as low as Rs 1,990.”

Furthermore, Samsung added that the consumers will get the Galaxy A51 smartphone worth INR 22,999 with 65-inch QLED TV and 75-inch Crystal 4K UHD TVs. In addition, the consumers will get a Galaxy A31 smartphone worth Rs 18,999 with 55-inch models of QLED TVs and 65-inch Crystal 4K UHD TVs.

“In 2020, there was a rise in demand for bigger screen smart TVs, above 55-inch, in top cities as well as small towns and rural markets. Consumers want to buy bigger TVs that offer cinematic viewing experience at home amid availability of high-quality OTT content and need for entertainment at home. Besides this, Samsung QLED TVs will come with a 10-year no screen burn-in warranty, one-year comprehensive warranty and one-year additional warranty on panel.

FAU-G Game to officially launch on January 26, Akshay Kumar shared FAU-G anthem on Instagram

After the ban on the PUBG Mobile game in India, we saw a lot of Indian alternatives to this game popping out to take the place of this highly popular game. The game was supposed to launch in October last year but after several delays, Fearless And United-Guards (FAU-G) is soon going to officially launch in India. The news is rife that the latest mobile game developed by nCore is set to release on January 26 which is to be on Republic Day.

With the announcement of the FAU-G game release date Actor Akshay Kumar has also shared the new trailer of this game on Instagram. For those who are unaware, FAU-G is an Indian alternative to PUBG Mobile. However, the pre-registrations of the Fearless and United Guard have already been up on Google Play since November. At that time the developers announced on the official Twitter handle of nCore Games that this Made-in-India FAU-G game has crossed more than 1 million pre-registrations.

The latest trailer of FAU-G is one minute and thirty-eight seconds long and gives us a glimpse of the Gameplay based on the Galwan valley controversy between Indian and China. In addition, the anthem of the game can also be heard playing in the background. There are also few dialogues in the Punjabi language which sound interesting and therefore would appeal more to players. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also shared the registration link. While sharing the release date and the trailer the popular actor wrote, “FAU-G Anthem. Whether it’s a problem within the country or at the border…these Bharat Ke Veer always stand tall. For the unknowns, FAU-G is a mobile game being developed by Indian Indian mobile game publisher nCore Games. It was announced in September when PUBG Mobile was banned, along with other Chinese apps in the country. The game was scheduled for a launch in November last year but unfortunately, the release has to be postponed. At that time the actor announced, “Supporting PM @narendramodi’s AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game, Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Xiaomi’s spin-off Poco is all set to launch its new smartphone in the Indian market. The company has officially confirmed the launch of the new smartphone  Poco F2 via Twitter. Although this the second smartphone from the company’s popular F series but the Poco F2 Pro which was introduced globally last year never made it to the Indian shore. But now the upcoming Poco phone is to get launched in India very soon and will succeed Poco F1 which was the first smartphone to be launched by the Chinese brand launched in 2018.

Poco is now prepping up to launch Poco F2 in India. The company has only made an announcement to launch the smartphone but it has not revealed any information about the smartphone. on the other hand, the Indian Tipster Abhishek Yadav citing information from the Xiaomi Telegram group has revealed a lot of key specs of the upcoming phone. According to him, Poco F2 is likely to feature a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset which we have already seen on the Poco X3.

Moreover, the Poco smartphone will be backed by a 4,250mAh battery and is suggested to include a quad-camera setup on the back of the phone. Although the camera resolution remains hidden but it is expected to include a 64-megapixel sensor or a 108-megapixel sensor as this is the company flagship model. In the meanwhile, other rumours suggest the camera model will be consisting of a wide-angle lens, ultrawide, macro and depth sensor.

On the other hand, rumours suggest that Poco F2 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 800 series processor as it is the flagship model by the brand. To recall Poco made its debut in the market with the launch of Poco F1 in the year 2018.

In addition to this Poco F2 is speculated to be priced ranging between 20,000 and Rs 25,000. Although there is only speculation to fall back on when it comes to the Poco F2 specification and we suggest you take the information with a grain of salt.

Samsung to host its first Galaxy Unpacked event on January 14, to be hosted virtually

The South Korean major brand Samsung has officially announced the first flagship smartphones launch of the year to be held on January 14. Keeping all the speculation and leaks aside the company confirmed Galaxy Unpacked 2021 to be held virtually all thanks to the pandemic situation. However, it is still unclear what exactly will be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked Event but like every, the company is expected to be going by its tradition and will be unveiling Samsung Galaxy S21 series that will include three new models.

Samsung has officially announced to host this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event for January 14. The event will be held via live stream on Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com at 10 a.m. EST on January 14, 2021. The event invite reads, “Over the past year, mobile technology has taken center stage in everyday life as people are working from and spending time at home. The accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience.”

However, the company did not confirm but it is going to launch the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S21 series. There will be three smartphones making their way to the market- Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The company did not confirm about the Smartphone series but recently it was put on reservations in the US which clearly confirms on January 14 the company will be unveiling its next flagship smartphones. Also, the teaser video gives us a glimpse of a triple rear camera module that revolves inside a semi-transparent cube. It is the same vintage diaries like the designed camera set up which we have seen in the earlier leaks.

The smartphone series is also tipped to come with improved battery performance over the existing Galaxy S20. As per a YouTuber, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be powered by Exynos 2100 SoC that would deliver 25 to 35 percent improved battery life than the Exynos 990-powered Galaxy S20. While the Snapdragon 888 SoC powered device will come with a 15 percent improvement in battery life over the Snapdragon 865 running predecessor. The upcoming model is suggested to have a 4,000mAH battery similar to its predecessor that will get significant improvement in battery life with the power of the latest processors. In addition to this, the upcoming flagship series is said to support fast charging too.

Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series went on pre-orders registration in the US. The reservation is open through the Samsung Shop app as well as via the Samsung US website and is open until 11:59 pm EST on January 28, 2021.

Although the images and the specification of the upcoming flagship have been leaked several times but the recently leaked live images of the Galaxy 21+ shows the front as well as the back of the phone. It also confirms the Phantom Violet colour option. Whereas the three triple cameras aligned vertically on the top left corner. The camera set up reminds us of the vintage diaries that used to have a metal clip-like design at its one end.

Yes, the first launch of the new year is going to be an exciting one in the form of Xiaomi Mi 10i. This is the very first release of the season when it comes to smartphones and will feature a 108MP rear camera, which has been seen before in smartphones from Samsung.

Price of Xiaomi Mi 10i in India

The phone is inspired by Mi 10T Lite, which was recently showcased in China, but insiders do tell Gadget Bridge that it will have subtle yet smart differences for the Indian audience. Now, Gadget Bridge has got hold of the exclusive price of the smartphone before its launch. As per industry insiders, the price of the Xiaomi Mi 10i will be upwards of Rs 26,999. This can be the price of the base variant or can be Rs 500 more than this. But is largely expected to be around this price only. Two colour options are expected, one you have already seen which has hues of blue and pink called Pacific Sunsire.

On the technical specification front, the Xiaomi Mi 10i is likely to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD display. The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with Adreno 619 graphics processor. The mobile may come in different configurations of 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage that were also seen in China. As the device has a dedicated sim slot that will allow you to expand the storage further with Dual SIM facility, where both networks can work on 4G with support for 5G on the primary SIM slot.Mi 10i Pacific Sunrise

In addition to this, Xiaomi Mi 10i will be featuring a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with a Super Night Scene 2.0 mode. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.

The Xiaomi Mi 10i  will be backed by a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and is IP53 rated for water and dust resistance. The fast charger is touted to be part of the package at the expected base price. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with dual stereo speakers. It should include a 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, NFC, USB Type-C port, and an audio jack. The sensors on the phone will include ambient light, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, rear light sensor, ultrasonic distance sensor, among others.

Recently Xiaomi confirmed to launch Mi 10i in India on January 5. The company tweeted a video teaser in Which Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain only confirms the launch for India but it did not share any key details about their upcoming model. In a new development, Xiaomi has teased a distinct Pacific Sunrise colour option across all its social media platforms including its official website and Amazon. The company has also sent out media invites for the launch. However, the company has not revealed its specification but Xiaomi Mi 10i is said to be a rebranded variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which was recently launched in China.

Xiaomi Mi 10i is now confirmed to be available in India in a Pacific Sunrise colour option. This was revealed through the latest teaser on the Mi.com which showcases the upcoming smartphone in a distinct colour variant. Apart from this new development was also shared through Amazon in the country that also confirms that the e-commerce platform will be the official sale partner for the product. As per the leaked information, the new gradient finish with a mix of cyan and orange shades will join the other two colour options that is Blue and Black.

Apart from this, a new video teaser has also been shared via the company’s social media that teases its battery life. According to the teaser, the Mi 10i will last for a whole one day on a single charge.

Whereas the dedicated page suggests that Xiaomi Mi 10i is to come with a 108-megapixel quad rear camera set up which is similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which launched in China recently.

In addition to this, it is said to be a rebranded variant of the Chinese version of Redmi Note 9 5G. It is expected to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 250Hz touch sampling rate. The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with Adreno 619 graphics processor. The device may come in different configurations of 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage that is available in China. As the device has a dedicated sim slot that will allow you to expand the storage to 512GB.

Furthermore, Xiaomi Mi 10i is likely to come with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with a Super Night Scene 2.0 mode. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.

Just like Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, the India variant could be backed by a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and is IP53 rated for water and dust resistance. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with dual stereo speakers. It should include a 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, NFC, USB Type-C port, and an audio jack. The sensors on the phone will include ambient light, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, rear light sensor, ultrasonic distance sensor among others.

Sony PlayStation 5 will be making its way to India on February 2, pre-orders to begin January 12

Sony PlayStation 5 was unveiled globally in June last year and has already gone on sale in other markets. But for India, the company only revealed the pricing with no specific launch date. In a new development, Sony India has now officially announced that its latest gaming console PS5 is now coming to India next month and its pre-orders to also start soon till stock lasts.

PlayStation 5 has now been confirmed by Sony to launch in India on February 2. The company has made this announcement on Twitter via the PlayStation India account. In addition to this Sony will begin taking its pre-orders from January 12 at 12 noon onwards via leading e-commerce websites in the country including Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Shop at Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and select authorised retail partners.

To recall Sony introduced PlayStation 5 in June last year and it has already been launched in other markets like the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions in November. It was expected to make its way to the Indian shores later in December last year but was supposed to get BIS certification including copyright as well as stock shortages. However the company in July last year teased its availability through Amazon as well as Flipkart by listing PS5 on the e-retailer platforms.

Looking back on, The company has launched two new variants of the gaming console PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. In October last year, Sony officially revealed the pricing for other markets including India but it did not reveal the availability details of PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition for the country. While announcing the pricing of PlayStation 5 the company said, “ We know that gamers in India are excited to get their hands on PS5. Availability in each country is subject to, amongst other things, local import regulations, and our local teams are working through the logistics. We will share an update on the launch date for India as more information becomes available.”

Price of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition in India

The price of PlayStation 5 in India will start at Rs 49,990 whereas PlayStation 5 Digital Edition price in India has been set at Rs 39,990. Both the devices will be available via e-commerce websites Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Shop at Sony Center and Vijay Sales. According to the company along with the gaming consoles, four accessories will also be available for purchase in the country that includes Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, a Media Remote, a DualSense Charging Station, and an HD Camera.

The DualSense Wireless Controller will be available at Rs 5,999, HD camera at Rs 5,190, PULSE 3D Wireless Headset at Rs 8,590, Media Remote will cost Rs 2,590 and the DualSense Charging Station will be available at Rs 2,590. On the other hand, the pricing of games that will come to PS5 has been also announced at that time Demon’s Souls is going to be priced at Rs 4,999, Destruction Allstars at Rs 4,999, Marvel Spiderman Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition at Rs 4,999, Sackboy A Big Adventure at Rs 3,999 and Marvel Spiderman: Miles Morales at Rs 3,999.

Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone Mi 10i in India. The company’s chief Manu Kumar Jain in its invitation video revealed that the device will be featuring a brand new camera which hints at a 108-megapixel primary sensor which was first revealed in its first teaser. Prior to this official announcement, the device also appeared via Google Console listing indicating launch. Its specifications have also been tipped several times and the rumoured features are very much similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. Yes, the smartphone is likely to be a rebranded variant of this smartphone which was launched in China.

Manu Kumar Jain the Chief of Xiaomi India took to Twitter to officially announce the arrival of Mi 10i. However, in his video invite, he did not mention the key details of the upcoming smartphone but he confirmed that the device will hit the shelves in India on January 5. The video teaser stated, “In just a few days from now, we are going to launch our brand-new flagship smartphone under the Mi brand called Mi 10i,” said Jain in the nearly one-and-a-half-minute long video. “It is an extension of our flagship phones launched this year: Mi 10, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro (and other devices). It is also an extension of Mi 10 Lite launched globally.”

According to the company, Xiaomi Mi 10i is customised by the India product team and is a Made in India smartphone.

The company has also created a dedicated event page for the Xiaomi phone suggesting a 108-megapixel quad rear camera set up. The camera setup is similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. If you are unaware Xiaomi recently introduced this device under the Chinese version of Redmi Note 9 which launched in India a few months back.

The specification tipped by Mukul Sharma also suggested that Xiaomi Mi 10i will come with a Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and more RAM options available when launched.

If the tipped information is believed then all the key details are similar to Redmi Note 9 5G then it is expected to come with a 6.67-inch full-HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 250Hz touch sampling rate. The device is going to be powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with Adreno 619 graphics processor. As the listing suggests the device will be available in a 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.

Recently the Samsung Galaxy S21+ registration went live in the US which suggested it to launch soon. The series will consist of three models Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. Prior to its official launch in the market, the smartphones have been leaked on the web several times. This time some of the live images of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ have been leaked which clearly reveals its front as well as its back. In addition to this, the official cases of the flagship series have also landed on the web.

The live images of Samsung Galaxy 21+ have been leaked by @MauriQHD on Twitter suggesting it to be a demo model as it contains a confidential sticker on its back. The leaked images show the back of the phone donning a Phantom Violet colour option. In addition to this, there are three triple cameras aligned vertically on the top left corner.

The front shows a hole-punch display which is in working condition. The front display has flat edges. The interface also seems to be similar to the current One UI version.

On the other hand, Indian tipster Ishna Agarwal has shared the renders claimed to be the official cases of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The device will come in the Clear View Cover, Led Cover, Led View Cover, Silicone Case, Leather Cover, Protective Standing Cover, Clear Protective Cover, Clear Standing Cover, and Clear Cover. All these casings have a thick camera bump also.

Recently the series also went on pre-registrations in the US. The reservation is open through the Samsung Shop app as well as via the Samsung US website. On the pre-bookings, the company is offering a credit of $50 that is Rs 3,700 as per Indian currency on the purchase of additional accessories while you pre-order the phone. In addition to this Samsung is also offering an instant trade-in credit of up to $700 that translates to around Rs 51,00 on the broken device. The company is also giving up a $700 instant credit on the exchange of an old smartphone. The Galaxy S21 series is up for pre-orders until 11:59 pm EST on January 28, 2021. Whereas the reservation credit will be offered till 1:59 pm EST on January 13.

In the past, the pricing of the Samsung flagship series was also leaked which suggested the price of the Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to start at EUR 849 that translates to Rs 76,000 for the 128GB storage option. The Galaxy S20+ is said to be available in a 128GB storage and its pricing is expected to come at EUR 1,049 that comes around Rs 94,500 while the 256Gb storage option is said to be priced at EUR 1,099 that translates to Rs 99,155. The premium one which is Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to be priced at EUR 1,399 for the 128GB storage that translates to Rs 1,26000.

LG has announced that its new InstaView Range with Air Sous Vide will change home cooking as we know it today. To be launched at the CES 2021, the complete cooking solution also features LG’s Air Fry mode, InstaView oven door and a range of smart functions for a healthy and convenient culinary life at home.

According to the company, “LG Air Sous Vide can consistently maintain any temperature between 100 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit (38 to 96 degrees Celsius) for up to 48 hours without water, which results in more consistent dishes that take up less counter space to prepare.”

Interestingly, LG InstaView technology enables customers to automatically turns on an interior light to make visually checking the progress inside a cinch with tapping twice on the oven’s glass door.

This soon-to-be-introduced range also features LG’s ProBake Convection technology for quick and thorough cooking without preheating while Air Fry delivers flavorful fried treats using significantly less oil than deep frying.

Interestingly, LG InstaView Range can be controlled and monitored using the ThinQ app connected to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa smart speakers. And LG partners SideChef, Innit, Drop, and Tovala offer helpful culinary inspiration through the hundreds of easy-to-follow recipes on their apps. “Once the user has selected a recipe, cooking instructions are sent to the oven which then sets the appropriate cooking mode and temperature. With Drop and a smart Thermomix, making pizza at home is a no-brainer with ThinQ controlling the mixer settings and LG InstaView Range preheating automatically so as soon as the dough is rolled and toppings topped, the oven is good to go. And heating frozen meals from brands such as Nestlé and Kraft Heinz is as simple as scanning a barcode with Scan to Cook,” revealed the company.

The InstaView Range also supports Proactive Customer Care, which is LG’s AI service solution. With just a smartphone and the ThinQ app, users can maintain the optimal performance and efficiency of compatible LG appliances for years to come.

“The 2021 LG InstaView Range integrates our most innovative cooking technologies which we’re excited to introduce at next month’s CES. We’re confident customers will find Air Sous Vide easier and more convenient to use than traditional water sous vide but the real vote of confidence will be in how much better the food tastes,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.

This product will be on display in LG’s virtual exhibition booth during CES 2021 starting January 11.

Samsung unveils HDR10+ Adaptive feature to enhance viewing experience

In order to improve the HDR10+ viewing experience at customers’ homes despite of the lighting conditions, Samsung has now announced that the HDR10+ Adaptive feature will be supported in Samsung TVs. This newly-launched feature supports Filmmaker Mode and adapts to brighter rooms. HDR10+ Adaptive will launch globally with Samsung’s upcoming QLED TV products.

According to Samsung, “While viewing HDR content is typically optimal in a darkened environment, customers’ viewing environments may vary greatly depending on a wide array of factors, including room lighting, time of day, and proximity to windows.”

Samsung’s HDR10+ Adaptive feature supports dynamic scene-by-scene optimization, following guidelines from the HDR10+ LLC, and can now adjust to any room lighting condition, further enhancing the HDR experience. This feature utilizes the TV’s light sensor and ensures that the screen brings to life the creative intent without any loss of details or contrast. All Prime Video HDR content is automatically delivered in HDR10+.

Asserting that as consumers spend more time at home, Younghun Choi, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “Samsung has been looking for ways to enrich consumers’ entertainment experience in the comfort of their homes. We are delighted to offer smart picture quality solutions that will enhance consumers’ at-home HDR viewing experience, bringing original-quality cinematic experience to our consumers around the world.”

Stating that Amazon Prime Video is always looking for new features and innovations that can help improve the customer experience, BA Winston, Global Head of Video Playback and Delivery at Amazon Prime Video, said, “With HDR10+ and Filmmaker mode, Prime Video content is optimized regardless of the viewing environment and customers can enjoy movies and TV shows the way the filmmakers intended.”

Furthermore, the HDR10+ Adaptive on Samsung QLED TVs also supports Filmmaker Mode, a display setting that Samsung developed in partnership with filmmakers, studios and consumer electronics manufacturers. Moreover, Samsung and Amazon Prime Video collaborated to enable Filmmaker Mode and HDR10+ Adaptive for Prime Video customers.

The company also notified that more contents are becoming available in HDR10+ with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) and Samsung extending its technology partnership to include even more HDR10+ catalogues and new titles for distribution on OTT services around the world.

Mind you! UHD titles are available on Prime Video also comprise of HDR10+ so all Prime Video customers can enjoy the improved HDR experience with most Samsung QLED TVs regardless of room lighting conditions.

The Chinese smartphone company Vivo today announced the launch of its new budget smartphone Vivo Y20A in India. The device has been introduced below Rs 15,000 price segment. The key features include a 5,000mAh battery, a waterdrop notch display and is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC. It comes with Android 11 out of the box.

Vivo Y20A has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 11,490 for the single 3GB of RAM with 64GB of storage option the device is available in two colour options of Nebula Blue and Dawn White. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting January 2. The sale will be accessible across mainline partner retail stores, Vivo India E-store, and other leading e-commerce websites.
