On an Android smartphone, the easiest way is to do it directly from the Dropdown notification bar and tapping on the screencast option. Select the TV name from the list and the smartphone screen will be mirrored automatically.
The other way is by using the Smart Things application.
Step 1 – Download the Smart Things application from Play Store.
Step 2 – Go to add device and select your smart TV.
Step 3 – Tap on the TV to start connecting and view images, videos and more.
Step 3 – Your TV will be ready to mirror screen follow the same steps as above for either Android or Apple device to cast your screen easily.

Following these steps, one can mirror their Android or iPhone screen to a Samsung or Sony smart TV. Make use of this feature and enjoy your phone content on the big TV screen. One can also consider buying Amazon Firestick, Chromecast or MiraCast if the screen sharing feature is unavailable on your TV.
