Moto Watch 100 renders surface, specifications also leaked

We reported last month that Motorola is preparing to launch a new wearable called the Moto Watch 100 in collaboration with CE Brands. After the revelation of an investor report from CE Brand, the renders of the upcoming wearable have been leaked on the web.  The device will feature a metallic finish with a circular display. The silicone strap will have a striped texture on it. Whereas on the features front it will have GPS support and will also bear heart rate sensors and more. According to leaked renders, Moto Watch 100 will come with a waterproof design. It will have a metallic finish with an aluminium casing and the back of the smartwatch will be made of plastic. The renders only show the black colour variant however the smart wearable will arrive in more colour and strap options to choose from.

As said, there will be a circular design display with a simple design and two buttons on the side of the frame. The alleged Moto Watch 100 is said to come with a silicone strap with a striped design. The Motorola Watch is said to lack a rotating bezel.   Speaking more on the design, the renders also indicate that Moto Watch 100 will feature a 1.3-inch LCD display offering a resolution of 360×360. The purported device is estimated to weigh 29 grams and would measure 42x46x11.9mm. The width of the smartwatch is said to be 20mm.  In addition to this, the Motorola smartwatch is said to include a 354mAh battery and would have Bluetooth Version 5 support for connectivity. Not just this the wearable will get in-built GPS support. Apart from this, the health sensor on the device is most likely to include a heart sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, SPO2, and ambient light sensor.

There will be a sleep sensor as well for tracking sleeping patterns and sensor counting. Moreover, the smartwatch will also include fitness modes.  The device has been co-created with CE Brands. The CE Brands previously shared an investor press release that confirms the existence of the device. Not only that, the firm also shared an operational update road map that reveals a few important details of the Motorola smartwatch.  The FCC listing also suggested a circular dial with oval buttons on the sides. It may arrive with 5ATM water resistance and a heart rate sensor. Along with this, the wearable is said to include Bluetooth v5.2 and GPS for connection. It could run on Wear OS and come with an Aluminium casing. The smartwatch is also said to enter mass production from next month. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE renders and specifications leaked

Recently the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was tipped to happen on January 4. The previous rumours and leaks also revealed some of the key specs of the upcoming smartphone. But in a new development, the marketing images of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have been leaked ahead of the official announcement. In addition to this, the smartphone’s full specifications have also been fully revealed.  According to the shared images by CoinBRS which are believed to be marketing images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE the phone will be featuring a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. The screen is likely to support a refresh rate of 120Hz and will arrive with Corning Gorilla protection. More on the aesthetics, the phone is said to come with a triple rear camera set up similar to the standard Galaxy S21. There is a punch hole cut out located on the top centre of the front screen. The power and volume buttons are shown on the right side of the frame. While the bottom part has a USB Type-C port and speakers. Reportedly, the Fan Edition of Galaxy S21 FE will arrive in four different colours to choose from- black, cream, lavender and white.

The report also claims that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be powered by both Exynos and Qualcomm processors. You might get the option of the one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC or either Exynos 2100 SoC depending on the markets, The one with the Qualcomm processor might include Mali G78 GPU on the other hand the 888 processor could provide Adreno 660 GPU for graphics. Both the variants might be offered with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage option. The phone could be shipped with Samsung’s OneUI over Android 11 out of the box.

The triple rear camera set-up is slated to include a 64MP primary sensor along with an ultra-wide and depth sensor. In terms of selfies, it is expected to offer a 32 MP front-facing camera. Apart from that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is claimed to include a 4,500mAh battery. The phone is said to bring a 15W fast charger. Moreover, connecting the device is expected to include 5G, 4G LTE, dual WIFI, Bluetooth version 5.1, GPS and USB Type C port for charging. In its latest update, Instagram has rolled out a very important feature for the creator. The popular social media platform is getting two new features: Text-to-speech and Voice effect. Both the audio tools can also be found on Tik Tok. The new feature is now accessible in the Reels camera.  The company via community post said, “Attention Reels creators! We know that using sound and audio is one of the funniest aspects of creating a 🔥 Reel! So today we’re launching two new audio tools called Voice Effects and Text to Speech. Swipe through to learn more about how to use them to take your Reels to the next level.” Text-to-speech is a feature allowing Instagram creators to make use of an artificial or robotic voice to read the text instead of their own voice in the short video. On the other hand, Voice Effects can only be used to modify the audio as well as a voiceover in the Reels.  Instagram Text-to-speech The text-to-speech feature is accessible via the text tool in the Reels Camera After you have recorded or uploaded a video head to preview to add text. While adding text, a text bubble will appear at the end of the screen letting users specify when they want that text to appear.  However, the menu for each text bubble can be opened by tapping a three-dot icon. This gives creators more options to add Text-to-speech voiceover which gives you two options.

On the other hand, the Instagram voice effect will allow you to change the audio or voiceover in reels. In order to access it, open the audio mixer by tapping the music note after you are done recording. Price Revised: Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport price hiked by Rs 300

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has revised the price of two of its popular budget devices in India. Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport price has been increased by Rs 300. The former one was released in India last year whereas the latter one arrived in the market in September this year.  To recall, a significant proportion of smartphone components saw a price increase due to current supply shortages. Therefore most of the companies, Xiaomi, Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung and others could not avoid but increase the price of some of their models. To recall most of the budget devices by Redmi saw a price hike after global chipset shortages and the most popular of them was the Redmi Note 10 series.  On the recent price revision Xiaomi’s spokesperson stated, “Due to massive demand-supply mismatch, the majority of components used in smartphones have seen an upward movement in their prices. Unfortunately, due to such market dynamics, a surge in price is inevitable and it is further leading to a price hike on some of our models. At Xiaomi India, we strongly believe in honest pricing and will continue to do our best to make the most value-for-money smartphones for all our Fans and consumers.” After the fresh price hike, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport have become pricier by Rs 300. The Redmi 9A 2GB and 2GB RAM options were earlier retailing at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 and now they will be available at Rs 7,299 and Rs 8,299 respectively. On the other hand, the 2GB and 3GB RAM options of the Redmi 9A Sports were earlier sold at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999. But after the price increase both the models will come at Rs 7,299 and Rs 8,299 respectively. It should be noted that the price of the other configurations remains unchanged.

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has expanded its Y-series with the addition of a new smartphone. The portfolio now includes Vivo Y76s but this phone has been introduced in China first. The device comes with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC also featuring 44W fast charging technology. There is a dewdrop notch display on the front while the rear consists of a dual camera set up which houses a 50MP main sensor.

In terms of selfies, the company has provided an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Besides this, the handset houses a 4,100mAh battery which is claimed to provide 16 hours of talk time when fully charged. The battery supports a 44W flash fast charging tech. In addition to the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, other sensors on the phone include a magnetometer, ambient light, accelerometer, proximity sensor and gyroscope. Whereas the connectivity options are 5G, 4G VoLTE, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and a Type C port for charging.

Vivo Y76s has been launched in China with a price tag of CYN 1,799 that comes around Rs 20,800 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and CYN 1,999 that translates to Rs 23,200 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model. The device is offered in three colour options of Star Diamond White, Starry Night Black and Galaxy Blue. The phone has been listed on the company’s website however, the firm is yet to announce its availability details.
