In addition to this, the colour option of the upcoming smartphone has also been tipped. As of now, the company has not revealed much information with regard to the phone’s pricing and specification but the latest leak confirms that the device will be made available in four colour options.
Citing information from a tipster on Twitter (@Gadgetsdata) the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be available in three colour options of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB. The pricing is tipped to start at Rs 21,999. The price of the other two variants has not been disclosed yet. To recall, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE was introduced in Europe at EUR 349 which converts to Rs 30,300 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage model will be available at EUR 399 translating to Rs 34,600, however, insiders have told Gadget Bridge that the price of this variant can be lower than that in India (around Rs 30-31K). The company has not yet revealed the price of 8GB RAM with a 256GB configuration.

OnePlus has rolled out a new update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users. The new XPan Mode comes through an OTA update that will allow users to create photos similar to Hasselblad Camera. We already know that this year’s OnePlus Series gets the benefit of Hasselblad’s partnership with the company. But the latest update will extend the supports of the 35mm set up along with the ability to switch to full panorama mode.
The news comes by way of a forum post by OnePlus which says, “We’re so excited to finally bring this update to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users. With this upcoming OTA update, in addition to multiple regular system optimizations, we also greatly improved the camera performance for its Hasselblad Camera for Mobile – including the brand new XPan Mode and multiple image quality optimizations.”
The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro used will get a new XPan Mode which is co-developed by OnePlus and Hasselblad. The new feature will allow users to recreate the classic experience of Hasselblad XPan in a smartphone. This includes the unique 65:27 aspect ratio, two different focal lengths (30mm and 45mm) just like the original XPan, a special animation of developing negative film, and two colour profiles – an updated colour mode and a unique B&W simulation of the classic ILFORD Delta 400 film.
According to the company, the XPan Mode was popular in the mid-1990s where cameras used the 35 film system but later on, the entire camera industry had begun the transition to a new era of digital imaging. Also, people are increasingly interested in this aspect ratio. Therefore portable cameras that could take “wide-format” photos became more and more popular. But the format only covered the upper and lower parts of an image, and by using cropping it produced a wide photo.
But now the XPan mode on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro cameras are presented in black and white by default, restoring the tone and style of the classic black and white film “Ilford Delta 400”. This feature is suitable for photo shooting of different subjects, whether it is portraits, street photography, or architecture, with comfortable, high-quality performance.
The colour profile of XPan has also been improvised giving a more lifelike image quality. The feature also allows shooting with colour, and users can choose two focal lengths: 30 mm and 45 mm, corresponding to the classic 30 mm and 45 mm lenses of Hasselblad XPan cameras. Moreover, photos taken in this mode will carry a photo ratio of 65:24 (about 2.7:1), which is completely different from the traditional 3:2 or 4:3 photo ratio and will look like an ultra-wide movie. It will also let you create new photo forms such as “three stories in one photo” and “cutting the main picture into three parts”.
The XPan Mode will also use a 65:24 ratio on the OnePlus 9 Series to offer a border field of view and brand new composition ideas. When users shoot in XPan mode, they can still get a picture of about over 20MP, with a 30 mm focal length of 7552 × 2798 resolution and a 45 mm focal length of 7872 × 2916 resolution.
The interesting part is when the user presses the shutter, the frozen picture will first be presented as a negative film, and then it will turn into a normal photo and be saved on the phone. OnePlus has tried to give the feel of the ritual of film development.
Besides this, the OTS update will also optimize HDR frame retrieving algorithms and reduce noise in multiple scenes while fixing the over-sharpening issues in some scenarios in auto-mode. The update will also improve the stability of the auto white balance. Dynamic range in low-light conditions has also been improved.

You usually relate or connect SanDisk to a seller who makes USB drives and memory cards for mobiles or cameras. But this time they have brought something new to the Indian market. The company recently launched SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger 15W here and we spent some time with it to understand the product better. This is SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger review and our take of the product.
The wireless charger can charge any device, be it a smartphone or a tablet with wireless Qi-charging capability. So before buying you will also need to check if your smartphone can charge wirelessly.
We tested the SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger with various devices including OnePlus 9, Apple iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones. The charging was seamless with all the devices. 15W charge supply is what the wireless charging plate provides, which is one of the fastest in current wireless charging standards. We were able to charge the iPhone 11 from 0-100% in under 3 hours. The OnePlus 9 took additional 30 minutes since the battery size is much larger.
Over that, the SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger can charge smartphones with their cover or bumper case on as well (up to 5mm thick). We tested it out with a 4mm rubber case and 3mm plastic case on two phones and it worked just fine. The charge times with the case on was also similar to the above. The company says you can charge Apple Air Pods, iPhone 8 and upwards, Samsung Galaxy S7 and upwards and Samsung Note devices with this Qi-enabled 15W charger.
So, is it worth buying? We would say yes. At Rs 2,999 this wireless charger gives you a host of conveniences. You do not have to plug in the cable to your smartphone to charge it. Just place it on the pad and it starts charging. Also, a smartphone is something you keep using every now and then, so the hassle of plugging and unplugging a device during work hours is also gone.
Over that, if you use more than one device, it helps you get rid of multiple chargers and cables. Just placed your Qi-enables device on it and you are good to go. The only downside is that you will not get super-fast charging as you get from a 35W+ wire charger. If convenience matters to you, go for it!

Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton has rolled out the new September update. Update 1.6 brings Flora Menace, exclusive features and lifelike game dynamics to BGMI. The new update is being released in a staged manner and will be available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store in a few days.
While announcing the rollout the company said, “with the introduction of Flora Menace, special features and realistic game dynamics in version 1.6 rolling out on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The update will be rolling out sequentially starting today, so fans are requested to be patient for it to show up on your app store.”
According to Battlegrounds Mobile India the new BGMI update 1.6 will bring a new mode called “Flora Menace”. This mode will create a life barrier in some parts of the map that is encroached by alien creatures. In the wall, players’ HP gradually recovers. The gamers will have the ability to loot “Nacore” in the mode and use the item to buy battle items. The mode is available in Classic Theme Modes and starting from Erangel, it will be added to Sanhok and Livik.
On the other hand the in Erangel “Flora Menace,” players can get benefit from Cell-Matrix content. Basically, Cell-Matrix is an airship floating in the air and players can ride it using Cells that can be found on the map. The players will be benefitted from three chances to revive themselves and get to fight with randomly provided weapons. They can acquire Nacore by eliminating enemies or robots infected by an alien creature in the airship.
