How Gaming is Making Its Way Into Your Favorite Video Games
Gambling is a thriving industry and it’s getting bigger each year to the point that any related activities can be easily accessed by people all over the world. It’s also making its way into the regular video games that we play and some probably aren’t even aware of this.
However, there are already video games that do not low-key include gambling like Red Dead Online and GTA V. Both video games are released by the same gaming company, Rockstar. These games having actual casino games are simply not surprising as Rockstar has always been at the centre of controversy when it comes to its adult-only gameplay. GTA V, for example, has crime, sex, gambling, and violence in it.
Now, 10CRIC is the best casino app in India and people can just easily play real money games on this. However, for people who do not want to blow up some cash on these games, they go for simulated casino gaming which is found on video games like GTA V. Playing casino games this way is now labelled as social casino gaming.
Instagram rolls out new tools to protect users from abuse
In an attempt to put a stop to offensive comments and unwanted abuse the photo-sharing app Instagram is rolling out new tools to protect users from abuse. From now onward the app will also show strict warnings when users try to post potential hate comments on social media platforms. The new functionality will allow users to limit comments and DM requests during spikes of increased attention.
While announcing the feature Instagram said, “We have a responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe when they come to Instagram. We don’t allow hate speech or bullying on Instagram, and we remove it whenever we find it. We also want to protect people from having to experience this abuse in the first place, which is why we’re constantly listening to feedback from experts and our community, and developing new features to give people more control over their experience on Instagram, and help protect them from abuse.”
Instagram’s new anti-abuse tools are rolled out globally with the new Hidden Words feature, which gives people the ability to filter abusive DM requests. The move will help protect people when they experience or anticipate a rush of abusive comments and DMs so Limits- will automatically hide comments and DM requests from people who don’t follow you, or who only recently followed you easily. According to the company, this feature was developed when it came across creators and public figures sometimes experiencing sudden spikes of comments and DM requests from people they don’t know. Instagram says, “In many cases, this is an outpouring of support — like if they go viral after winning an Olympic medal. But sometimes it can also mean an influx of unwanted comments or messages. Now, if you’re going through that — or think you may be about to — you can turn on Limits and avoid it.”
As per the research done by the social media owned by Facebook a lot of negativity towards public figures comes from people who don’t actually follow them, or who have only recently followed them, and who simply pile on at the moment. Creators also don’t want to switch off comments and messages completely; they still want to hear from their community and build those relationships. Limits allow you to hear from your long-standing followers while limiting contact from people who might only be coming to your account to target you.
Instagram Limits will be accessible to everyone and can be easily turned on/off from the privacy setting. The application is also finding ways to detect when you may be experiencing a spike in comments and DMs, so it can prompt you to turn on Limits.
In addition to this people will now get Stronger warnings when people try to post potentially offensive comments. “And if they try to post potentially offensive comments multiple times, we show an even stronger warning – reminding them of our Community Guidelines and warning them that we may remove or hide their comment if they proceed,” the company explained. Rather than waiting for the second or third comment, we’ll show this stronger message the first time, this will discourage harassment and posting something hurtful. And to help protect people from abuse in their DM requests Instagram has also introduced Hidden Words, which allows you to automatically filter offensive words, phrases and emojis into a Hidden Folder, that you never have to open if you don’t want to. It will also filter out spam or low-quality DM requests. Moreover, Instagram has also expanded the list of potentially offensive words, hashtags and emojis that automatically filters out comments, and will continue updating it frequently. The photo-sharing application recently added a new opt-in option to “Hide More Comments” that may be potentially harmful, even if they may not break our rules.
“We hope these new features will better protect people from seeing abusive content, whether it’s racist, sexist, homophobic or any other type of abuse. We know there’s more to do, including improving our systems to find and remove abusive content more quickly, and holding those who post it accountable”, Instagram stated.

If you ask us, Sony has been leading the house party speakers segment along with LG. Sony speakers are not super expensive like some of the others, but they deliver superb sound, which is comparable to some of the best (more expensive ones) out there. The latest entrant is the Sony SRS XG500, which came to our testing table. This is the Sony SRS XG500 review, which you all need to read before buying.
The font top has rubberised buttons, which include the volume, power, Bluetooth and Mega Bass button that enhances the bass of any song. Underneath you will find a large rubber footing to neatly place it on any flat surface. Spin it around and you will find the ports panel, neatly tucked behind a thick rubber wall. Now you must be wondering why is there so much rubber on the Sony SRS XG500 wireless party speaker. Well, these speakers are meant for outdoor use as well, which is why Sony has got an IP66 rating for them. This means they are water-resistant and dustproof. But this does not mean you drop them in the pool, but accidental splashes on it won’t ruin them.
The ports on the Sony SRS XG500 include a couple of USB ports (which can be used to charge your smartphone too), power, 3.5mm audio-in and a special guitar or MIC auxiliary port. Just in case you are in the mood for some Karaoke, you can do that with Sony SRS XG500. Sadly, the mic is not part of the package. The last thing we want to talk about in the design department is the lights. Yes, you do get ambient LED lights on both side woofers. These dance as per the tunes you are listening to, but in case you want to control them, you can download the Sony Music Centre App and do so.
The verbal audio is crystal clear, the bass is deep, and the music does not crack even at full volume. Behind this rubber wall, you will find additional buttons on the Sony SRS XG500. These include a button that will tell you battery left, one is for enabling the guitar mode, another turns the lights on or off and the last one is for party connect. Yes, you can connect multiple Sony SRS XG500’s to each other or any other party connect compatible speaker to it.
As for the battery life, Sony says the SRS XG500 can last for 30 hours. But on our test bench, it needed a recharge after about 29 hours. So, what Sony says is just about right. Since a large power brick is also supplied with the speaker, it can fast charge the device and you can get 3 hours of wireless music playback with 10 minutes of charge. Over that, there are a couple of sound modes available on the app as well, which can be accessed via any iOS or Android device.
Sony SRS XG500 review: Design
When it comes to design, anything that comes from the warehouse of Sony has far superior quality than the rest. They always try to give something fresh, whether it is something as simple as a headphone or the Sony PlayStation 5. Sony SRS XG500 is no different, it is something new and fresh. To start with, this is a massive 5Kg+ (weight) wireless Bluetooth speaker that has a handle running across the top with the Sony branding on it. But still, it is very luggable and this is something we are seeing for the first time. Yes, they do remind us of a Conga drum, but to be frank, the design works for us. The Sony SRS XG500 is wrapped in a mesh-type cloth that runs from top to bottom and left to right. The outlook is black entangled with white thread, which looks like the night sky. The same can be seen on the side woofers.

Sony SRS XG500 review: Performance
Oh boy! Where do we even begin? The Sony SRS XG500 portable speakers are absolute headbangers. The sound is incredible and one of the best we have seen from any portable speaker from the Japanese major. Consumers get an array of speakers here. In total there are 6 speakers on the Sony SRS XG500. There are two square style X-balanced speakers in the front (middle), with twin high-efficiency tweeters next to them on each side (placed behind the cloth mesh) and two passive radiator audio drivers on both sides. These are built to give you the best sound experience, no matter where you are. We tested the Sony SRS XG500 with a lot of things and devices. We played music from Amazon Music and YouTube, we saw few Netflix shows connecting it to a projector and we played 320kbps songs via our smartphone using Bluetooth and not once did this extra-large portable speaker give us a chance to bicker. It kept surprising us. For a party speaker, it truly is one. It can easily fill a large to extra large living room with wonderful sound. You can also take it out to the pool or even to the roof deck and throw a party without the need of a DJ.
