Vivo Y53s confirmed to launch in India soon
The Chinese smartphone company, Vivo, is all set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company has confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone Vivo Y53s in the country. The device was initially launched in Vietnam and now will make its way to the Indian market. The key highlights of the smartphone include a 64-megapixel triple rear camera set up, a full HD display and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The exact launch date of the Vivo Y53s is still unclear but the company has confirmed the Indian launch. The smartphone was launched in Vietnam last month in a single 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage option. The device is available there at a price tag of VND 6,990,000 that translates to Rs 22,500. Reportedly the mobile phone is expected to arrive in India in a single 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 22,990 (Rs 19,490 MOP). In India, it may be available in Deep Sea Blue/Fantastic Rainbow colour options. Speaking of the specifications, Vivo Y53s comes with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display having 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. It comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It is powered by octa-core octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is 3GB of extended RAM support as well however it offers storage expansion via microSD card.  In terms of optics, Vivo Y53s features a triple rear camera set-up that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is all set to take place on August 11. The company is going to unveil its next-gen foldable smartphone at the online event. Ahead of the launch event the company today opened the pre-reservation in India for its upcoming flagship smartphones. The Indian customers can now book the device by paying Rs 2,000, however, there is no confirmation about which smartphone is up for pre-bookings.  As the previous teasers suggest the company will be launching the third generation of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, on August 11 at its Galaxy unpacked virtual event. So from today onwards, the customers will be able to pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy flagship by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000 on Samsung India’s e-Store www.samsung.com or Samsung Shop App. According to the company, those customers making the pre-reservation will get the ‘Next Galaxy VIP Pass’ which entitles customers to get a Smart tag worth INR 2699 for free when they pre-book the device.  When the customer pre-books the device later, the token amount of INR 2000 will be adjusted against the device price.  To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 11. It is going to be an online presentation that will kickstart at 10 AM ET and 7.30 PM IST. The dedicated launch event will be live-streamed through the company’s official website as well as via the YouTube channel. Recently, the alleged India pricing of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 also surfaced on the web prior to the official announcement. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is tipped to be priced at approximately Rs 1,35,000, with an MRP of Rs 1,49,990. Whereas Galaxy Z Flip is expected to be priced between Rs 80,00 and Rs 90,000. Prior to this, the device’s European pricing was also leaked. There it could be priced at EUR 2,009 translating to Rs 1,76,800 and EUR 1,029 that comes to Rs 90,500 respectively.
