The Xiaomi 12 series is now available globally. The company today announced the global variant of its flagship series. Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X are a part of the lineup with different specifications. To recall the latest lineup of phones that were introduced by the Chinese manufacturer in its home market in December last year. All three mobile phones come with 5G connectivity and run on the newly announced MIUI 13.

Starting with Xiaomi 12, its price starts at $ 749 that converts to Rs 57,200 for the 8Gb RAM with 128GB storage option. Whereas the price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro begins at $999 which translates to Rs 76,300 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option. Lastly, the most affordable Xiaomi 12X comes at a starting price of $649 which translates to Rs 49,600 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option. The Xiaomi 12 boasts a 6.28-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,0802,400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The rear camera arrangement is supported by a unique CyberFocus technology for superior focus-locking. The Xiaomi 12 boasts a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front. It supports Stagger HDR and artificial intelligence-based beautifying capabilities (AI). A 4,500mAh battery powers the gadget and offers 67W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone also supports 10W reverse wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C connector. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The Xiaomi 12 supports Dolby Atmos and has dual speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a triple rear camera arrangement that comprises a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX707 sensor with OIS and an f/1.9 aperture, a 50-megapixel portrait sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Asus India has announced the launch of new gaming laptops under its Republic of Gamers (ROG) Strix and TUF series. All the laptops have been refreshed with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 Series Mobile Processors in India.

Under this series, the company has launched two models with 15 inches and 17-inch QHD 240Hz display, Dolby Vision HDR, and Adaptive Sync. Both the gaming laptops are powered by Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with MUX Switch and DDR5 RAM. The PCs comes with redesigned fans and other liquid metal cooling enhancements. The dedicated MUX Switch reduces latency and improves performance, making AAA gaming and streaming a breeze. Apple is rolling out the latest software update that brings the much-awaited functionality that allows iPhone owners to unlock their devices while wearing face masks. The feature comes with the new iOS 15.4 version that also brings a slew of new capabilities for current iPhones. This feature is available on iPhone 12 and later with iOS 15.4 and later. Users have been anticipating the ability of facial recognition technology to function with face masks from the beginning of the COVID-19. Note that the new functionality that allows users to unlock their iPhones using Face ID while wearing masks is limited to iOS 15.4. Oppo K10 India launch is likely to take place shortly, teaser released

iQoo Z6 5G India launch to take place on March 16, gets listed on Amazon

According to the business, the iQoo Z6 5G will also include a five-layered liquid cooling system for thermal management. Samsung announced Galaxy A Event for March 17, likely to unveil Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G

Samsung has officially announced its next Galaxy event. On March 17, Samsung will present a Galaxy A event which is most likely to unveil a slew of new smartphones in the Galaxy A-series namely Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G. However, the company has not yet revealed anything about the items that are slated to be released on March 17. As per the invite, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A event is scheduled to take place on March 17. The launch event will be live-streamed at 10 AM EDT/ 7.30 PM IST via Samsung’s YouTube channel and Samsung Newsroom. “The Galaxy A series is Samsung Electronics’ most popular smartphone category, leading the democratization of Galaxy innovations that is giving people the power to create, connect and thrive. This year, Samsung is taking the impactful Galaxy innovations for the A series even further. The awesome new Galaxy A series devices are designed to provide the fully-loaded experience that people want from a smartphone,” the company’s invite stated. The invite doesn’t say anything about the items that are slated to be released but rumours suggest that Samsung might release two mid-range smartphones- the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G.

Both the Samsung smartphones have leaked several times in the past. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G are speculated to operate on Android 12-based One UI 4 out of the box. The Galaxy A73 5G is rumoured to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A53 5G is expected to have a 6.52-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The A73 is likely to equip a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC whereas the A53 is said to be powered by an Exynos 1200 SoC. Both the alleged smartphones are believed to include quad rear cameras The Galaxy A73 5G will reportedly have a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is expected to include a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 5-megapixel sensors. Besides this, the handsets are said to house 5,000mAh batteries and capability for 25W rapid charging.
