Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro receives the Android 9.0 Pie beta update

0
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro is one among the best smartphones launched by the company. It packs good specifications and is available at an affordable price point. With the launch of Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi gained dominance over the mid-range smartphone market in India. When launched, the Redmi Note 5 Pro came with Android 7.1.2 Nougat skinned with MIUI 9.2. But after the release of its successor – Redmi Note 6 Pro – the company decided to update the Android version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro to Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 on top. And now, after the release of Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi is updating the Redmi Note 5 Pro’s Android version once again to Android 9.0 Pie skinned with MIUI 10 Beta 9.3.25, a report by XDA developers noted. But it should be noted that the update is still in its beta phase so there might be some time before the final stable version of the Android Pie update for the Redmi Note 5 Pro is released. The Android 9.0 Pie update of the Redmi Note 5 Pro (device codename: whyred global) is skinned with the latest MIUI 10 Beta 9.3.25 and it is 1.7GB in size. So we recommend downloading it only when your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
The file can be downloaded from the Redmi Note 5 Pro’s official forum, the download will come in a zipped file which can be flashed after the download ends. But it should be noted that the update is still in Beta phase so it won’t be a stable update. Furthermore, it is the first Android Pie beta update for the Redmi Note 5 Pro so there may be some bugs and stability issues. As the file is flashable, so it should be done only by people who are well-aware about the workings of a flashing update. But still, necessary precautions must be taken and backup must be made before flashing the Beta update on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. To recall, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in February 2018 and it was one of the best-selling devices of the year in the Indian market. The device was powered by Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It had dual rear-camera setup and housed 4,000mAh battery. The successor of the device, Redmi Note 6 Pro was thought to bring more to the table than the Redmi Note 5 Pro but it failed to do so. However, with the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi hopes once again to turn the tides of markets and the Indian users in their favour.

Huawei P30 Pro, Huawei P30 launch: How to watch the livestream

Huawei P30 Pro specifications (expected)

A number of specifications of the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone have been kept under wraps by the company. However, we do know about some things. For instance, Huawei’s consumer business group CEO Richard Yu confirmed last month that the company’s upcoming device – P30 Pro – will feature a quad camera setup on its back panel. Yu had shared a sample photo clicked by the Huawei P30 Pro on Chinese social networking website Weibo and the image comes with a blurred watermark. However, even though the watermark is blurred, one can easily figure out that it suggests that the device will sport a quad camera setup. The image also suggested that the smartphone will come with a lossless optical zoom, which had been reported a few times in the past as well. We should also add here that while Huawei P30 Pro is expected to come with a quad-camera setup, the younger sibling – Huawei P30 – will feature three cameras on its rear panel. Other than this, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will reportedly sport OLED screens and feature waterdrop-style display notches coupled with optical in-display fingerprint scanners. According to reports, the smartphones will be powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor. While Huawei P30 is expected to sport with a 6.1-inch OLED display and come with 8GB of RAM, P30 Pro is said to come with a 6.5-inch display and house 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, it has also been reported that Huawei P30 will come with a 40MP primary camera and a 24MP selfie camera. For more information, we will have to wait for a few more hours for the Huawei P30 Pro and P30 to launch.

Furthermore, the card will live in the wallet section of the iPhone. However, customers will also be able to get a physical card made of titanium. YouTube has cancelled its original series with a change in its video service plan: Report

YouTube is undoubtedly one among the most popular platforms to watch videos. Even though Netflix dominates the video-streaming sphere, YouTube has its own place as people turn to it to watch music videos, gaming content, tutorials, and more. Some time back, there were reports about YouTube working on its original series. However, now a new report in Bloomberg suggests that the platform has cancelled two of the biggest original series that it was working on and furthermore, it is also not accepting pitches for other new scripted shows. According to the report, YouTube no longer wants to compete with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple’s video service and has therefore cancelled its sci-fi series Origin and Overthinking with Kat & June. We should mention that this news has come in just before the launch of Apple’s new TV streaming service, which will be unveiled later today. We should mention that the Cupertino-based technology giant plans to spend as much as $2 billion to build its original content this year and to do this, has roped in Hollywood personalities like Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Chris Evans.
However, initially, even Apple’s service is expected to rely more on channels like HBO, Showtime and Starz. Apple will build its content simultaneously and unveil it later on its platform. Coming back to YouTube, some time back Google had a very different plan for its streaming service and the company hoped that it would offer original content exclusively to paid subscribers. However, we should add here that late last year, some reports emerged that said that Google will be shifting its focus away from subscriptions and will instead try to get sponsorships and ad support for its future shows. It is worth adding here that YouTube Premium, which was originally called as YouTube Red, will continue to be available in various parts of the world. However, it will focus more on music and less on premium original content. Although the service will still have original video content, it will mostly be made in collaboration with YouTube content creators and not by partnering with Hollywood stars. Speaking of Apple’s service, a report in The Wall Street Journal stated that the Cupertino-based technology giant has been negotiating with premium channels like HBO, Showtime, and Starz to offer a standardized $9.99 monthly subscription each. So, Users may have to pay $9.99 for its video subscription service and the original content would be paid too.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019: WhatsApp launches second phase of its ‘Share Joy, Not Rumours’ campaign

Facebook-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has launched the second-leg of its ‘Share Joy, Not Rumours’ campaign, which intends to educate people to use the platform responsibly considering that Lok Sabha elections are just around the corner. The company has today issued a statement which says the new education campaign would inform people about the controls that are available on WhatsApp which they can use in order to stop the spread of misinformation. This would be useful considering the fact the close to elections, many are expected to use the popular instant messaging app to spread information that is not accurate. The campaign would be joining a number of TV, print and radio ads that have surfaced online previously and educate people on stopping misinformation spreading at the time of Lok Sabha elections.
According to WhatsApp, the first phase of its campaign successfully reached hundreds of millions of Indians in rural as well as urban areas. And now, the company is planning to build on the campaign with a second-round focused on supporting a safe election process. Speaking about the campaign, Abhijit Bose, Head of India, WhatsApp said, “Proactively working with the Election Committee and local partners for a safe election is our top priority. Expanding our education campaign to help people easily identify and stop malicious messages is another step towards improving the safety of our users.” WhatsApp has partnered with DEF and NASSCOM, which will be acting as the company’s digital literacy partners and share videos to grow awareness among people. The print ads, on the other hand, will be used to remind people how to spot, verify and stop sharing of misinformation that has the potential of causing harmful outcomes during the pre-polling period. WhatsApp has mentioned that the campaign is one part of a series of actions that need to come together to resolve the underlying societal challenges contributing to misinformation and the company says that it is continued to be committed to doing its part to ensure that the platform continues to be a safe and private space for personal communication. Among other changes, WhatsApp has introduced the ‘Forwarded’ label that informs users when they receive a message on the app that is not from their immediate contacts, and it has also imposed a limit to the number of people to whom a forwarded message can be sent. Google Stadia will not support ‘game downloads’: Report

0
Google’s new game streaming service, Stadia was launched at the GDC 2019 last week but there were many details missing from Google’s announcement. The game streaming service is said to be one of the major launches of Google for the year 2019. But with time, more and more details about Google Stadia are emerging, and some of the details are given by the company’s VP Phil Harrison. And one of the major announcements about Google Stadia is that games can’t be downloaded and played on Google’s new game streaming service. According to an interview by Gamespot, Google’s VP Phil Harrison said that the company is looking forward to making new games for its newly launched platform. It means that there might be exclusive titles for the Google Stadia in the coming future. It should also be noted that Google recently hired Jade Raymond, who is the producer of the first Assassin’s Creed game as a VP, so we can see the launch of the original and exclusive titles for Google’s game streaming platform. Speaking about Google Stadia’s game download option, Harrison said that downloads will not be supported on cloud-based gaming service. He said that downloading games on Stadia is ‘not technically possible’. It proves the point that Google Stadia games can’t be stored on a local disk and it can’t be played offline. But he also stated that Google is working on its own games which will be exclusive to the platform.
Harrison said to the videogame website, “It was a conversation that I had with Google leadership before I joined the company. My point of view was in order to really deliver on the promise of this platform, we had to build our own games. We had to build our own experiences, and that was a very fundamental, strategic direction that we needed to move in.” He also said that the California-based technology company will be trying to build games specifically for a data centre. About competition in the game streaming service and the platform’s game being available on other platforms, he said that he is not worried as the developers “are starting to innovate and think about the future and (build) a 21st century game, rather than a 20th-century game”. Till now the price and other details of the Google Stadia is kept under wraps. Harrison said that they have a pricing system for the Google Stadia but they aren’t ready to talk about it as of now. Initially, Google Stadia will launch in the US, Canada, UK and Europe but till now there is no word from the company about its launch in India. According to many gaming enthusiasts and industry veterans, the game streaming is the future of gaming and Google will be followed by many others in this sphere. But at the moment, it might be a problem in India as its infrastructure might not entirely support the game streaming platforms. So we might see a late arrival of Google’s Stadia or similar projects in the country. Apple’s TV shows won’t be free; here’s a look at the costs

0
In the next few hours, Apple is all set to unveil its strategy for services at its event at which the company is expected to reveal its Apple News subscription and its video streaming platform. And now, a report has emerged that sheds light on how Apple has been negotiating with premium channels like HBO, Showtime, and Starz to offer a standardized $9.99 monthly subscription each. Users may have to pay $9.99 for its news subscription service and the original content would be paid too. The report, which first surfaced on The Wall Street Journal, also claims that Apple will be seen showing off the footage from one of its forthcoming TV programs at the event. The report also quotes some sourced that tipped the publication that Apple will be charging for the programming. The TV shows will be live on a new TV app by Apple that is being called as a ‘Netflix killer.’ The app is said to be a way for users of Apple devices to sign up for subscriptions various premium channels like HBO, Showtime and Starz.
While it is being said that Apple will sell subscriptions at a standardized monthly rate of $9.99 for each one, the rate is actually a discounted on for some channels like HBO and Showtime. Otherwise, HBO costs $15 a month and Showtime is available at a monthly fee of $10.99. Furthermore, we should also mention that Netflix will not be a part of the service, as it has been confirmed by the video-streaming platform’s CEO last month. The report has also stated that Apple had tried to partner with Disney for the video streaming service. However, when that could not work out, it even reportedly thought about acquiring either Netflix or Disney. According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple has also been negotiating with manufacturers in order to bring its service to Roku and smart TVs. This would enable Apple to get its services to a wider range of customers. We should mention that the Cupertino-based technology giant has already used this strategy for Apple Music when it allowed users to stream it on Amazon Echo speakers and Fire TVs. Coming back to Apple’s news service, the company will be charging $9.99 for that too. Users of the app will be able to access a number of publications for a monthly fee. However, Apple could not get some big names like The New York Times and The Washington Post onboard. In addition to this, the report has also suggested that the Cupertino-based technology company will be announcing a gaming subscription service that will bundle iOS games for users at the event.

Oppo receives the 5G CE certification, would announce the 5G smartphone soon

0
Oppo’s first 5G smartphone has received the 5G CE certificate, marking the company’s official foray in the new connectivity. The company announced that its first 5G smartphone has successfully passed the 5G CE tests conducted by the Sporton International Inc, the global inspection services authority which checks and certifies networks and devices. After passing the test, the Oppo 5G device was awarded the 5G CE certificate by CTC advanced GmbH. MWC 2019 which was held last month in Barcelona, Spain saw the launch of a number of new devices and technologies. 5G and foldable smartphones were a rage at the tech show and Oppo was also among the companies that showcased its first 5G device at the MWC 2019. But Oppo’s 5G smartphone is different than other 5G devices, as it holds first multi-frequency, multi-mode, and multi-EN-DC combination. It became the company’s first 5G smartphone to be approved by the CTC. Oppo’s 5G device holds the advantage of the n78 band which includes more band combinations and wider bandwidth. It also can be applied across a broader range of countries and areas/regions.
Speaking on the development, Alen Wu, OPPO Global Vice President, Head of business overseas markets said, “This is another significant milestone in 5G development for OPPO. Through ongoing technological innovation, we have been preparing extensively for the realization of 5G smartphone commercialization. OPPO looks forward to continued cooperation with strong partners like Sporton that will enable consumers to get closer to 5G.” With this, Oppo’s 5G smartphone became the first commercial 5G smartphone in Europe as Oppo’s CE certification verifies that the company’s 5G smartphone meets the requirements set by the EU to enter the European smartphone market. The EU looks for areas such as wireless, electromagnetic compatibility, health and safety before giving any device or network a green signal. Ivan Xie, Chief of Operation and Engineering of Sporton International, Inc said, “We were pleased to see OPPO’s 5G smartphone perform exceptionally during the stringent tests. The results are a testament to OPPO’s technological capability and great news for users and industry alike. Drawing on our rich experience in wireless communication, Sporton will continue to collaborate with OPPO to usher in the future of 5G connectivity.” Recently, the Chinese smartphone maker had launched its ‘5G Landing Project’ for which it partnered with several telecom operator partners to accelerate the commercialization of 5G products and services at a worldwide scale. And now that the company had received its 5G CE certification it plans to bring a 5G ready smartphone in the markets soon as OPPO has plans to bring its first 5G ready smartphone to market before June 2019. Apple’s 2019 iPhones will be able to wirelessly charge other devices: Report

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei was the first to come with reverse wireless charging in its Mate 20 Pro smartphone. Soon after, Samsung followed and introduced the same feature in its Galaxy S10 Plus handset. With this feature on board, users can place any device that supports Qi wireless charging on top of the smartphones, and the device starts getting charged automatically. And now, a report has surfaced online that claims that Apple‘s next iPhone will also come with the reverse charging feature. The report, which was first published on Japanese blog Macotakara, says that Apple’s upcoming 2019 iPhones will be able to charge any smartphones or other gadgets, provided they have support for Qi wireless charging. The blog has cited some Chinese suppliers, and we should mention that this backs up an earlier report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that said that the iPhone that will be unveiled this year will come with such a feature and house a bigger battery and upgraded cameras. It has also been reported that the upcoming iPhone will come with a new charging cable and an 18W charging port that usually comes with the iPad Pro. It has previously also been said that Apple’s 2019 iPhones will not come with a USB Type-C slot.
We should add here that the ability to charge devices off an iPhone would really come handy. And this is particularly true for those who will be buying the recently launched upgraded AirPods, that can be charged wirelessly. It is also worth noticing that the upcoming Beats Powerbeats earbuds will also be wireless. Anyone who owns such earphones or has an Apple Watch would understand how useful it will be to have this feature in the upcoming iPhone. Last month, an analyst note to 9to5Mac and MacRumors claimed that one among the three upcoming 2019 iPhones will come with a triple rear camera setup. The report also added that the three iPhones will come with the exact same screen sizes and sport the same notches on top of their displays. The note also said that much like the current models, the successor of iPhone XR (review) will come with an LCD screen rather than an OLED one. In addition to this, all the three iPhones are expected to come with an enhanced Face ID system, upgraded battery and a frosted glass casing on the back panels. Another feature that will be included in the 2019 iPhones will be ultra-wideband radio for indoor navigation.

Nintendo to launch two new Switch models in 2019: Report

Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company Nintendo is planning to launch two versions of the Switch that could be released this summer, according to a report that has surfaced online. It has been reported that one among the models will be an affordable one, while the other will come with “enhanced features targeted at avid video gamers.” The report, which first surfaced on The Wall Street Journal, says that the affordable variant of Nintendo Switch will not include the vibration feature, which basically means that it would not have detachable Joy-Con controllers. The upcoming variant of Nintendo Switch is said to be the successor of 3Ds. Earlier this year, a report in Nikkei also suggested that Nintendo was planning to release a smaller version of its Switch, and the main purpose behind launching this is to make a portable gaming gadget available for fans. However, we should point out that till now, no details have surfaced that give us an insight into what to expect from the higher-end model. But then, one source has mentioned to The Wall Street Journal that there will be more than a simple performance boost that the higher-end variant of Nintendo Switch.
It is worth noticing that there is a lot of room for improvement in Nintendo Switch. The console is powered by a four-year-old Tegra X1 processor. If Nvidia makes a comeback into the mobile chip development for the company, Nintendo could make major gains in terms of power and efficiency. According to the report, the Nintendo Switch hardware will be announced officially at E3 in June this year. Last month, a report by Emily Rogers on ResetEra suggested that Ninento maybe having plans of launching as many as 12 games for its Switch gaming console this year. Three games among the ones that are set to be launched are eShop-only titles, one is Nintendo Labo kit and two are Wii U ports. The remaining six games that Nintendo plans to launch this year are big retail games. The report further said that among the 12 games, nine have more than 75% of being launched this year and the other three – among which two are bigger retail games and one is Wii u port – have about 50% chance of being launched in 2019. The latter group is reportedly the Metroid Prime Trilogy and it has not officially been confirmed yet. And another game among the 12 that are set to be launched is Retro Studios secret project, which may be the Star Fox Racing. PUBG Mobile time-limit issue fixed, the developers apologizes to the players for shutting them out

0
Last week, PUBG Mobile made headlines for not letting people play the game beyond 6 hours. Once the player had completed 6 hours of gameplay, a message displayed on the screen saying ‘You have played the game for 6hr today’. Besides this, the game also showed the time at which the players would be able to continue playing PUBG Mobile. According to PUBG Mobile, the notification was a health reminder for players to let them know that they have played the battle-royale for 6 hours. Although PUBG Mobile hadn’t revealed if it was just for Indian players or all PUBG Mobile players but the decision was faced with criticism from players. But now, the company has confirmed that the issue has been fixed. Later, PUBG Mobile India tweeted, “Dear Players, Basis feedback from the community, we have now changed the Birthday Crate. The Healthy Gameplay System error has also been fixed, and you should be able to play uninterrupted. Lastly, payment systems are back up and running. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience!”
It was not a bug as PUBG Mobile India accepted that it was aware of the Healthy Gaming System issue the players were facing. Acknowledging the issue, it wrote, “We’re aware of the Healthy Gaming System issue that many of you are currently facing and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to you! Our development team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.” There is a possibility that PUBG Mobile took this step in the rising concern of the PUBG Mobile addiction amongst youngsters and teenagers in India. And this was PUBG Mobile’s step to come with a solution which would ease the addiction of the addictive battle-royale. It is also believed that the Health issue pop-up had impacted only the Indian players of the battle-royale. After the problem was noticed, the players took to social media to check if they were the only one receiving the health pop-up. But there were several other players who reported such problem and they posted screenshots of the health pop-ups they had received. Some players even reported that they were receiving the notification 30-minutes after starting the game. The popular battle-royale had earlier said that to cure the addiction it would take a responsible step in the said direction. Also, earlier it was reported that PUBG Mobile was testing a feature that would limit the amount of time the players could spend in the game. But according to PUBG Mobile, this may or may not be the feature they were working on. Also, it is not known which countries will be receiving the upcoming feature of PUBG Mobile. But it should be noted that in the light of all the hate and criticism PUBG Mobile is receiving from parents and politicians, putting a time-limit to the game might be a step in the right direction.

Windows users can also watch the live stream on the newer versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox (MSE, H.264 and AAC is required).

Earlier reports strongly suggest that Apple would be launching its video-streaming service at an event on March 25. According to Apple, it had spent around $2 billion (approximately Rs 14,000 crores) in Hollywood to produce its own original content exclusive for its streaming service. The company had also partnered with Oprah Winfrey and other stars to let it telecast their shows on Apple’s streaming service. According to a report by Reuters, Apple might resell the subscriptions from other networks such as Viacom, CBS Corp and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp’s Starz etc. The company is also in discussions with HBO and Warner Media for a partnership so that it can air their shows on its platform. And there is a possibility that the companies might form a positive partnership before the launch of the service. But it should be noted that, Apple also approached Netflix to partner with it, but Netflix declined the offer along with Hulu. The newly launch service might be distributed through Apple’s App Store which serves the users in more than 100 countries.
Along with the video-streaming service, Apple is also expected to launch its news-subscription service at the event. The news-subscription service is said to work like ‘Netflix’ of news and magazines and Apple has merged its Apple news with Texture for the service. For those unware, Texture is a paid subscription service which offers unlimited access to magazines from different publishers for a monthly fee. The new paid news subscription service will be an upgraded Apple news which earlier was offered for free. Earlier, the company had faced some disagreements with the Washington Post, New York Times and other because of the fee that it intended to keep. Even now, it is unclear if these big news names will be on-board the Apple’s news subscription service or not.

Ola banned in Karnataka for violating rules set by the government about running motorcycle taxis

The Indian transportation network company, Ola has got a six-month ban in the state of Karnataka for violating the government rules of running motorcycle taxis. The company was given multiple warnings by the government about not running its motorcycle taxi service in the state which the company failed to act on, so it was banned from running all services in the state. A senior Karnataka transport department official said, “Despite repeated warnings, Ola was misusing the license granted by the authorities. Bike taxis are not allowed in Karnataka according to government policy. So, the decision was taken to suspend its license for six months.” But even after the ban on Ola, several users in Bengaluru reported that they were able to book an auto-rickshaw and taxi by using the Ola mobile app. Ola, had a licence to operate and run its taxis in Karnataka from June 2016 to June 19, 2021. The Ola Cabs company is backed by the SoftBank Group and the Tencent Holdings Ltd.
In its defence, Ola said, “Despite other companies continuing to operate illegally, we halted our bike taxi experiment weeks ago.” After the ban, the company said in a statement that it was evaluating all options to find an “amicable solution” about the ban. The company also said that it was working closely with the authorities to come up with terms with the government. Ola is one of the biggest rivals to Uber, which is another transportation network service and the ban of Ola’s services from the state might give an advantage to Uber and other such services. But several customers fear that the ban might affect the local commuting and the cab drivers who were associated with Ola fear that it would affect their income and their job. Although, Rapido is another motorcycle taxi operator which operates in cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. But it is not clear what sort of license Rapido uses to operate such vehicles in those cities which got Ola banned for doing the same. It should be noted that Ola had invested $100 million (approximately Rs 700 crores) in Vogo, a domestic scooter sharing start-up that runs its services in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. With Ola’s ban of its services in Karnataka, the company might see some serious losses in the coming weeks if it doesn’t come up with a solution. Apple might be planning to launch truly wireless Powerbeats in April

0
After the launch of Apple iPad and iPad Mini the company launched the second generation of the Apple Airpods which came with wireless charging and were powered by the new H1 chip. Now, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to launch another product – the truly wireless Powerbeats earbuds in April. According to a report by CNET, the new earbuds will reportedly be using Apple’s new H1 chip which the company had earlier used in its newly launched updated version of the AirPods. The upcoming truly wireless Powerbeats earbuds will also have the same always-on Siri voice assistant with which the user can command hands-free. The Powerbeats will be different than the Apple AirPods as it will have a longer battery than the AirPods. The Airpods comes with around five hours of listening and running time so the Powerbeats will probably have a much longer running and listening time. The report also mentions that the timing of the new truly wireless Powerbeats lines up with the announcement of Beats X. The Beats X were announced back in 2016 shortly after the introduction of AirPods. And it was the same time when the company decided to build an iPhone without the 3.5mm headphone jack, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were the phones introduced alongside the Airpods. So, they came without a headphone jack, a trend which the Cupertino-based tech giant is following till now. There were also rumours about a higher end variant of the AirPods which would have noise-cancellation features and they would be an over-the-ear headphone. But the announcement of Apple’s wireless charging AirPods doesn’t fit with the line-up of the rumours.
Talking about the Powerbeats, they would offer more features than what the Apple AirPods gives so they might have a different user-base than the AirPods. To start, the Powerbeats offer sweat-resistance and they are fit more securely than the AirPods so they could be used when working out. Although the price and other details about the new truly wireless Powerbeats is not available but the Powerbeats3 Wireless, an earphone joined by a cord sells for $199.95 (approximately Rs 13,840) on the official Beats website. But the same earphones sell for $99 (approximately Rs 6,847) on Amazon. So, there is a possibility that the new wireless Powerbeats could be priced around $250 (approximately Rs 17,250) or lower. With the launch of the new truly wireless Powerbeats, it will become the first earbuds in the entire Beats line-up to come with a truly wireless build.
