Philips is a well-known brand in the Indian market and recently they (finally) launched the Philips Sonicare 4300 here. Though this is a slightly dated model, as it has been in the international markets since 2018-2019, it has finally been officially launched in India. So, today we take a look at the neat device and this is Philips Sonicare 4300 toothbrush review you should not miss.
In This Article
Philips Sonicare 4300 review: Design
The Philips Sonicare 4300 resides in the Protective Clean range of Philips electric toothbrushes. This is the most basic model available, while the elder sibling, Philips Sonicare 5100 and Philips Sonicare 6100 have more features but those models are not available in India yet. Out of the box, the Philips Sonicare 4300 looks like the rest of the pack with a long white thick stem that houses the battery pack and the double mode power button.
An LED indicator is also there on the stem with a charging port. A mettle connector attaches the brush to the stem. There is only one brush attachment given in the box and for more, you would need to pay extra. A charging dock is also given in the box and the battery life is said to be 14 days and we got just about that. The device is dressed in white with a hint of blue as the power button.
Philips Sonicare 4300 review: Performance
Moving to the performance, the Philips Sonicare 4300 does not have any rotating bristles, but static ones that are pressure sensitive and vibrate when brushing. At first, the experience was quite alien as we are not used to it, but after a few days, we got used to it. The brush also indicates if you have spent enough time brushing as there is a quad-pacer in it.
The company claims that the Philips Sonicare 4300 will not just clean your teeth but make them whiter too. In our short period with it, we did not see a drastic change, but our teeth and gums did feel refreshed and better than before. The brush is able to reach hard to reach areas of the mouth easily and clean it with decent to good precision. Over that, there is a smart brush replacement indicator on it too, which will tell the users when they need to replace the brush head.

There are two intensities of vibrations in the Philips Sonicare 4300. Low and high, according to your preference you can set it. We used it on low as that was very gentle on the teeth.
Verdict
Overall, even though it is dated, we quite liked the Philips Sonicare 4300. It is certainly a good apparatus to own if you want to get rid of dental problems in the long run. We found it to be better than the regular toothbrush. At Rs 4,299 it is not a very expensive option to go for, but yes, we would have appreciated an additional toothbrush attachment in the box.
Over the past two decades, we have watched as ‘camera phones’ have become more and more adept at capturing high-quality images. Even those of us who knew nothing of photography learned to speak in megapixels and types of lenses.
The past few years in particular have seen advancements in smartphone cameras. Apple introduced Portrait Mode, which takes professional-looking photographs of close-up subjects. Smartphones now have wide lenses and night modes that capture incredible quality.
However, the best smartphone camera does not come close to a professional camera. Cameras used by professional photographers offer quality on a whole other level. They are also expensive and not nearly as portable.
Investing in an expensive professional camera comes with extra costs, such as protective bags. It also may require you to get specific insurance for camera equipment added to your renters or homeowners policy. It is not just a one-off investment.
But what if you want a camera that is better than your smartphone without spending big? Is it worth getting a cheap alternative? Here is what you need to consider.
In This Article
Compare the specs and features with your phone
No matter how great a cheap camera looks, you should compare the specs and features with the camera on your phone. Chances are that even a relatively cheap camera is better than your phone camera, but by how much? There may be no point paying for a whole new camera when it only produces slightly higher quality photos.
The features of your phone’s camera also may take it beyond the capabilities of a cheap camera. Your phone’s software may be able to optimize the image in a way the camera cannot. You end up with a better quality photo despite being inferior in terms of hardware.
Your phone’s features may also make it easier to store and edit photos than the camera would.
Dedicated equipment
However, you may decide to get a camera even if the improvement on your phone will not be particularly big. It may be that you want to go out on hikes or trips with a camera but without your phone as a distraction. In this case, a dedicated camera can be extremely useful.
In some cases, you may need to use your phone for something else while taking pictures with your camera. Your phone can multitask, but it becomes difficult once you get the camera involved.
It is also simply possible that you see photography as a pursuit in itself and want to give it its own space. In the same way that some people write using a pen and paper rather than on a computer – despite a computer having far more features – some people would rather have specific equipment for photos. In this case, it is not the quality that matters so much but rather the experience.
Functionality
We’ve mentioned that smartphones have features that some cameras do not, but the opposite also applies. There are some cheap cameras that don’t take particularly high-quality photos but have far more functionality than your smartphone does. They may have greater zoom capabilities, different types of photo settings, and more.
Camera functionality may also be easier to use than the functions on a phone. Smartphones want to provide something for everyone, and therefore features become confusing. They are supposed to do a number of things but end up doing an amalgamation instead. It is therefore harder to get your specific requirements provided to you by your phone.
Cheap phone and expensive camera?
If you really want a good camera, you may want to consider getting a cheap phone and using your savings on the camera. The processing power of an iPhone X, for example, is not as good as that of the most recent iPhone, but it is still better than most people need. The big difference between the two phones is, essentially, camera quality.
By getting a second-hand phone for hundreds of dollars left, you have some extra money to spend on a good camera. Along with the funds you would have spent on a cheap camera, you can find something that best suits your needs.

Sometimes it may happen that you receive an email from someone in your family, friends or connections, but you’re not able to exactly recognise them. Neither the email body reveals much about their identity nor their email ID. Asking them directly is, no doubt, a simple option. But let’s face it. Isn’t it awkward and rude? Another parallel situation is that you might receive a marketing, fraudulent or spam email which you’re not sure is genuine or not. So to avoid falling into a trap, you intend to verify the source or the identity of the sender of that email. To help you battle all such situations, we are always by your side. Hence, we share with you the top ways how to find the person behind an email address in 2023. Nevertheless, it’s always better to equip yourself with knowledge, no?
In This Article
Google Search
The first way that immediately comes to mind to find the identity of a person behind an email address is a simple Google Search. Hey, no matter how thin the chances are, they’re greater than zero at least. You may be able to find the details of the person in case they own a public account on any of the social media or professional networking sites. You may also be able to trace them in case they have a blog or have posted or commented on any sites or public forums online. You can try directly searching through the engine with their email address and seeing the results.
Reverse Email Lookup (CocoFinder)
You can leverage reverse email lookup services and search engines available online that help users configure the identity of the person contacting them via email. These can even provide you with additional details of the sender apart from their full name, like their phone number(s), full address, photos and even social media handles. There are many such reverse email lookup tools and people search engine websites available online. One of the most popular ones, however, is CocoFinder.Read also: Top 5 Sites To Identify The Owner Of A Phone Number
Use Clearbit Connect Chrome Extension
You can even use Google Chrome plugins to find the person behind an email address. Some extremely useful Chrome extensions are Contact+ for Gmail and Clearbit Connect. You wouldn’t even have to leave your Gmail inbox and all the details of the sender will be displayed right next to the email. It reportedly offers about 100 reverse email lookups per month for free and even reveals the company at which the sender is employed.
Trace the sender’s IP address
A lot of people don’t know this, but you can find out the source IP address of the sender using the email they sent you. Simply click the ellipses on the email and select ‘Show Original’. Look for the ‘Received’ section on the following page to find the IP address of the sender. Copy this IP address into an online IP locator tool to find the location of the sender. You can also copy the entire email header and use IPlocation.net to figure out the location where it originated. Read this article to find out more.
Social Networking Sites
Another easy way to find the identity of a person behind an email address is by tracing their social media profiles through their email ID. Hey, it’s the social media age today, remember? It is almost impossible for a person to not have any social traces on the internet. You can directly key in the person’s email ID in the Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter search engine and you are likely to land on the person’s social handle through at least one of these platforms. This should work successfully if the person has an account on any of these social channels with the same email ID that they sent you an email from.
Use a Paid Service
Websites like Spokeo and Social Catfish offer paid services to thoroughly look into someone using the information you have about them. This is similar to a reverse email lookup, but it is more efficient and brings up a huge volume of public data. With just one simple email search you can find out the name, address, and other public records of the person in question. Spokeo goes through online directories, public records, dating sites, social media sites, and shopping sites to find any record matching the email address you have provided them.

Utilizing this add-on, together with Gmail and Google Spreadsheets, you can not only send personalized emails to multiple recipients but also send different file attachments to each, schedule emails for sending at a later point in time, track email opens, clicks and much more.Read also: Google to combine Gmail, Meet, Chat and Spaces to offer a new integrated viewStep 1: Open Google Spreadsheets, go to Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons.Step 2: Select the Mail Merge with Attachments add-on and click on Install.Step 3: Authorize permissions to it so that it gets installed on your system. After it’s successfully installed, you will notice the Mail Merge with Attachments add-on appear as an option under the Extensions menu in Google Spreadsheets.Step 4: Go to Extensions > Mail Merge with Attachments > Create Merge Sheet.Step 5: A new sheet with the name Mail Merge gets created with important variable columns like First Name, Last Name, Email Address, File Attachments, etc. You can even add on more variable field columns if you want. Step 6: Go to Extensions > Mail Merge with Attachments > Import Google Contacts to import any existing contact groups from Google Contacts into Mail Merge. You can also choose to fill in the details of the recipients in the Mail Merge spreadsheet manually. Step 7: To add file attachments to your mail, you can paste the links of the corresponding files from your Google Drive. When it comes to surfing the internet we all want to be as safe as can be. There are lots of places out there filled with cybercriminals looking to collect your information to use against you or gain money from your accounts. Safe online payments are essential when using the internet, and here are some key tips to help you surf the web with the most security available.
In This Article
Be Careful with Your Downloads
One of the main objectives of cybercriminals is getting you to download malware. Malware is a program or app that carries software that steals sensitive information. Malware can be disguised in many different ways. From popular games to weather checkers, to everything else in between. If apps look suspicious it is probably for good reason, so try to avoid them as best you can.
Be Careful if you Meet people Online
People you meet online are not always who they claim to be. They may not even be real people. Fake social media profiles are one of the most popular ways catfishers hack unwary internet users. As you would in your personal life, but just as safe and secure with who you let enter your online social life.
Keep your Privacy Settings Active
Marketers are always looking to find information about you from cookies and other places on the web, and so do hackers. Your social media usage and browsing preferences will tell hackers a lot about you if you don’t take full charge of your information. Web browsers and mobile networks have privacy protection readily available for users. Websites such as Facebook include privacy-enhancing settings but aren’t enabled as a standard so they need to be activated by users. Settings like these are deliberately hard to find as a lot of larger companies want the information to create revenue from sponsored ads. Stay safe and take the time to search for these extra settings.
Use a Secure VPN
If you’re using the internet in a public setting you do not get the same direct control as you would from your connection at home. Endpoints are the worry for most cybersecurity experts as they differ between private and public connections. Using something like a VPN is a great way to keep all of your information protected when out in the world using a local network.
Be Careful with what you Post
It is important to know that the internet does not feature a delete setting. You may think you have removed something but there are people out there who can probably find it. Any comments on Instagram or Twitter will remain there forever as other users may have captured a screenshot and posted it as an entirely new thread. If you wouldn’t say something in front of your family or employer it is definitely a good idea to keep it away from the internet as it could come back to haunt you in years to come.
Use Strong Passwords
Passwords are one of the biggest weak spots when it comes to internet security. The main issue with passwords is that the majority of people have one password for all of their accounts. Some alterations are made from time to time with an added ‘123’ on the end of a word but for the most part, we see the same passwords spread across all sensitive areas of the internet. Having one password for all avenues makes life a lot easier for cybercriminals. If the password is deciphered then they have unlimited access to your bank, social media, PayPal, bills, subscriptions, and much more. A strong password should be used for each place that requires one. Choose something around 15 characters long with a mixture of letters and numbers, along with special characters too.
Limit Personal Information
Personal information should be limited on the internet. Potential employees or employers do need to know everything about you. Keep things as professional as possible with things like your working background and a form of contact. You wouldn’t hold your personal information for everyone to see out in the street so why would you do it on the internet where millions of people can access it.

Out of the box, you get the pearly white, compact charging case that also holds the twin LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs within. The built of the enclosure is solid. You get an LED indicator upfront and a USB Type-C charging port at the back. A slider button is placed on the left side that enables you to connect the case to any 3.5mm aux port to connect the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano wireless earphones to them wirelessly, more on it in the performance section.
Flip the clamshell case open and you will find the twin earphones inside surrounded by a blue hue. Yes, the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano wireless earphones also come with a UV cleaning mechanism that turns on as soon as you place the earphones back in the case. What it essentially does is cleans and disinfects the earphones of any bacteria or viruses using UV light. LG claims 99% of germs are killed using this tech.
The LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano wireless earphones are nicely built, and we found them to be quite premium. They come with a large audio driver inside a conch-like shell with a stem on each. These also have 3 MICs individually and support active noise cancellation. Each audio plug also has a sensor in it, which pauses the music as soon as any one of them is pulled out of the ear. Put them back in and you will see the music gets un-paused automatically.

Also, the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs support tap functionality. Users can single tap and hold to turn ANC off/on. Double-tap on the right earphone to increase volume and if done on the other one it will decrease the volume. A single tap will pause the music.
LG Tone Free FP9W review: Performance
Coming to the most exciting part of the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs, its performance. These audio buds have been tuned by Meridian, which is one of the best in the business. The sound is great and is improved over the previous model. The bass is deep, and the treble is top-notch. What you get is superior sound quality with crisp vocals. EQ options are also available in the LG Tone Free app that users can download from the iOS or Android app store for their respective phone models.
With Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity we played quite a few songs on it. We even gamed with it, playing BGMI and the shot to sound latency is quite low. Gamers would love that. Also, these come with three medical-grade silicone tips, which fit well in any ear cavity. We did take them out for a run and not once did we feel that they are about to pop out.
Over that, the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs are IPX4 rated. This means sweat in this hot weather or light splashes in the rainy season will not ruin them. These also respond well to each tap. The result is almost instantaneous. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) works very well on most counts. With it turned on you do end up cutting out most of the loud external noise. But that does consume a little extra battery life.
Talking about which, LG claims the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs will give its users 10 hours of battery life. Well, we got about 8.5 hours’ worth of battery life, with ANC turned off. With ANC turned on, it went down by another 45 mins. Nevertheless, the bright part is that it can charge very quickly. In 5 min of charge, you can get 1 hour of playback time, which is brilliant. The supplied case will give users an additional 14 hours of battery life.

The case of the LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs can be charged using the supplied USB Type-C to USB Type-A charging cable through any charger. With it, users also get a Type-C to 3.5mm aux cable, which will connect the case to any source that does not have BT wireless connectivity, making it wireless. Just flip the slider on the case to the wireless mode and connect it using the cable to say an entertainment system of your car or on an aeroplane and that instantly becomes wireless. Now, that is neat and forward-thinking.
Verdict
The LG Tone Free FP9W UV Nano audio earplugs do come with a hefty price of Rs 29,990. Which for some could be out of reach. So, is the price justified? To much extent, yes, it is. These audio earphones give you really good audio output in partnership with Meridian, have UV cleaning tech, superior wireless connectivity et al. The list of pros is too long. Moreover, the battery life is also lengthy when compared to others in the same price bracket. Also, with them, you get a free external Ganesha case to add a bit of zing to it. All in all, if you can afford it, buy it.
