After making scores of fans wait for weeks, Tencent Games has finally released the PUBG mobile update 0.11.0, which comes with the much-awaited zombies mode. The download size of this update is 436MB on Android via Google Play and if we compare it to previous PUBG Mobile updates that were often more than 1GB in size, it isn’t that big.
However, if you’re a friend of yours gets it before you do, don’t be surprised as it has been stated in the official PUBG Mobile Discord that the update is going to roll out in a phased-out manner across regions. The stable update with zombies mode has come after an extended beta update lasted almost a month. Another thing worth mentioning is that the zombies mode has now got an official name – Survive Till Dawn. Here’s a list of changes that have been included in the update:

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ price has been leaked ahead of its February 20 launch. The Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for February 20, where the company will be launching the entire Galaxy S10 series and its much-awaited foldable smartphone – Galaxy F.
Even when the event is so up close, there is no end to the rumours about the upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphones. The latest leak has been given by tipster Evan Blass via his Twitter account @evleaks wherein he has posted the price of the Samsung Galaxy S10+.
Blass has shared a screenshot on his Twitter profile that claims that the price of the device’s Ceramic Black edition with 12GB RAM/1TB storage will be CNY 10,000, that is approximately Rs 1,05,500. The screenshot also mentions that the price is meant for public edition, which is basically the smartphone’s Special Edition with 5G support. There is a high chance that the top-tier model of the device will be priced similar to the iPhone XS.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ price shown by the screenshot is in China’s official currency, Yuan Renminbi. This indicates the possibility of an increment in the smartphone’s global prices, as a number of handsets are sold for cheaper in China and bear a heavier price tag in other international markets.
Some prior reports have also given us information about the pricing details of other models of Samsung Galaxy S10. The Samsung Galaxy S10E, that is the most affordable among the three devices will reportedly come at a starting price of EUR 749 (approximately Rs 60,500).
Speaking of the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S10, its cheapest model will reportedly cost EUR 899, or approximately Rs 72,700. Just days after Vivo officially announced its sub-brand iQoo in China, the first smartphone from the range has been teased. The smartphone can be seen to have a glossy back panel that has a gradient finish and it also sports a triple rear camera setup. It is worth noticing that the upcoming smartphone from iQoo does not sport a traditional fingerprint scanner on its back panel.
Instead, it has been confirmed to sport a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The new sub-brand by Vivo – iQoo – is likely to only produce the high-end models from the smartphone brand. Reports also suggest that Vivo may launch a foldable phone under its iQoo sub-brand which will rival foldables from Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Motorola.
The Chinese smartphone brand has also posted images on its Weibo account showing the iQoo-branded smartphone getting teased at the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend. We should mention that the front panel of the smartphone is not visible in the teaser, but the back panel can be seen. In the teaser, a triple rear camera setup can be seen very clearly and it can also be figured out that the lenses are vertically stacked. As we mentioned earlier, the back panel of the smartphone comes with a gradient and glossy finish.
We should also point out that besides the triple rear camera setup, even the iQoo logo on the back panel is placed vertically, which hints that the smartphone will come with photography-centric features. However, unlike what a recent report claimed, the device will not be a foldable phone.
Apart from sharing these pictures in the post on Weibo, Vivo also mentioned that the new smartphone by iQoo will sport a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor. It is worth noticing that this is an upgrade over the fifth-generation on-screen fingerprint scanner that the company used on the Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition smartphone. The new sensor is speculated to recognise fingerprints not just on one point on the display, but from the entire bottom area of the display panel.

It has also been speculated that the device will bear a price tag of CNY 5,000, which becomes approximately Rs 52,700. However, considering that this is just a speculation, we suggest that you should take it with a pinch of salt until the company confirms this news.
This year, Apple is about to launch an ‘all-new’ MacBook Pro design. This product is reportedly a model with a screen size between 16 and 16.5-inches. Thus, after the 17-inch MacBook models that were stopped selling in 2012, this model will have the largest screen when it comes to Apple MacBooks. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who is well connected with Apple said, that the lineup may also include a 13-inch model with 32GB RAM support. No model other than the 15-inch MacBook Pro can be configured with that amount of memory, till now.
Considering that Apple released the first Touch Bar models in late 2016, the all-new design will be sought after. The earlier design hasn’t been very popular with the keyboard getting the maximum criticism, which was owed both to its feel and unreliability. It might be difficult to get a solution to this quickly because Apple has tweaked the keyboard on each subsequent spec bump. According to Kuo, the Mac Pro will be launching this year itself with, in his words, “easy to upgrade components”.
Also, Kuo has first credible details of the external monitor, which indicates that Apple will return to the pro display market. This device is reportedly said to be a 31.6-inch 6K display with a Mini LED-like backlight design. To recall, Apple discontinued its last monitor, the Thunderbolt Display way back in 2016. Therefore, presently, users can only resort to Apple-sanctioned, but imperfect 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K and couple of other Dell monitors.
For iPhone geeks, we must tell you that the models which will launch this year are expected to feature the same design and screen sizes as the 2018 iPhone XS and iPhone XR. This means that we will again be able to see three smartphones, which will sport 6.5-inch, 5.8-inch and 6.1-inch display sizes.

Yesterday, rumours were rife that Samsung plans to hold preview events in eight Indian cities right after it unveils its flagship smartphone in San Francisco. Some technology news websites claimed that at the event, potential customers and Samsung fans could go and get a hands-on experience of the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10E smartphones.
However, we confirmed with Samsung and the South Korean technology giant has confirmed that it is not holding any such event in India on February 21 or at any later date for its upcoming flagship smartphones.
Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10E smartphones at its Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 20. The company is also said to launch its Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch and its Galaxy Buds at the same event.
The South Korean technology giant has also hinted that its much-anticipated foldable phone, Galaxy F, will also make an appearance at its Unpacked event.
The company first showed off its foldable phone at its developer conference in November last year and then showed it to a select audience at the Consumer Electronics Show that was held in Las Vegas last month.
We should mention that the company has been extremely secretive about its foldable phone in particular. Even when it gave the world a first look at the device at its developer conference, it first dimmed the lights on the stage to make sure people only get to see what the company wanted to showcase.
Speaking of its tenth anniversary special Galaxy S10 lineup, the company is adding a number of high-end features to the smartphones to make sure they manage to make a mark in the premium segment.
The smartphones will come with an Infinity-O display, just like the one we saw on Samsung Galaxy A8s. In this kind of display, the selfie camera of the smartphone is housed in a small hole that it is present on the screen itself. It is worth noticing that since Samsung Galaxy S10+, the most high-end variant of the three devices, comes with a dual selfie camera setup, it would have a capsule-shaped hole on its display.
Other than this, 30% of the screen of Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will have fingerprint sensing technology, which means that if you place your finger anywhere on that portion of the display, the smartphones will unlock. Samsung Galaxy S10E, on the other hand, will come with a fingerprint sensor on its right edge.
There are a number of reports that have been circulating about the upcoming devices. We would finally get to know tomorrow which ones among the reported features actually made it to the smartphones. You can tune in here to watch the event getting live-streamed 12:30 am IST on February 21.
PUBG Mobile has gained tremendous popularity in the last one year and has become a rage among scores of people across the globe. However, with all this popularity, PUBG Mobile has also gained some criticism, primarily for being addictive to the extent that it has had negative effects on the way people normally lead their lives.
A recent report claimed that a man in Malaysia deserted his pregnant wife and son because of the game. And now, another horrifying news about the game has surfaced in India. A man named Rajbar based out of Maharashtra was playing PUBG Mobile when his smartphone’s battery completely drained. When he asked his fiancée’s brother for a charger, the latter couldn’t find it soon enough.
The man got so enraged over the delay that he reportedly took a knife and attacked his would-be brother-in-law Om Bavdhankar, who is seriously injured and is currently being treated in the hospital.
We should mention the incident first happened on February 7 and an attempt to murder case was filed against the accused on February 14 at Kolshewadi police station. However, it has started circulating in media reports now.
Currently, the case is being investigated and the police are going through statements of witnesses to be sure of the reason behind this behaviour to make sure there wasn’t any psychological issue involved. The police have not yet arrested Rajbar.
We should mention that this isn’t the only negative case regarding PUBG that has surfaced online. The state government of Gujarat has directed all the primary schools of the state to ban PUBG within the school premises. The Jammu and Kashmir student association and medical doctor’s body has also asked for a ban on the game because it contributed to the poor performance of students in the recent board exams.
Furthermore, an 11-year old has filed a Public Interest Litigation in Bombay High Court urging Maharashtra and the union central government to prohibit PUBG Mobile and other similar games in the country. The PIL highlights that the game promotes violence and unethical behaviour, which may affect the mental health of a person playing the game for a prolonged period of time.
South Korean technology giant Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy S10 smartphones this week at an event in San Francisco. Samsung has scheduled its Unpacked event for February 20, where apart from its Galaxy S10 smartphones, it is expected to launch its new smartwatch and earbuds. The company has also hinted that it will be unveiling its upcoming foldable phone at the event.
If you are a Samsung fan, you would be happy to know that you wouldn’t have to wait till March to have the first look at the device. If you want to, you can try the next flagship Galaxy device on February 21 itself. According to a report in SamMobile, the technology giant is all set to hold its exclusive previews across the country, so you can go there and try the new Galaxy S10 in person before you order the smartphone for yourself.
We should mention that the exclusive preview for the Next Galaxy will be held in eight major Indian cities on February 21 including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Pune and Chandigarh.
So, just a day after the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10E will be unveiled at the company’s Unpacked event in San Francisco, you would be able to get your hands on the device if you live in these cities, or happen to be there on February 21.
The exclusive preview events will start at 5:30pm IST and will be open to all. No registrations are required to be a part of the preview sale.
The company has also confirmed that the Samsung 837 in New York City will also allow people to try the new flagship smartphone right after the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, for doing this, users will have to sign up at the company’s official Galaxy Unpacked Livestream webpage.
As we mentioned earlier, at its February 20 event, Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10E mobile phones, its Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch and its Galaxy Buds. It is also expected to showcase its much-awaited foldable phone. The Galaxy Unpacked event will start at 11:00am PST on February 20 and in case you are not in New York, you can watch the event on Samsung’s official website, where it will be live-streamed.
Update: When we confirmed with Samsung, the company denied holding any such event on February 21.
Current generation of smartphones come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Even budget friendly laptops come in the same RAM range, but Xiaomi’s Mi 9 Transparent Edition will have a whooping 12GB of RAM. That’s no joke and neither is it a conceptual idea, Mi 9 will be launching on February 20 and some days after that the Transparent Edition of Xiaomi’s flagship will be released.
Mi 9 isn’t the first smartphone to come with 12GB of RAM as Lenovo’s Z5 Pro GT holds that title (to be the first one). It came with Snapdragon 855 and 12GB RAM onboard. Samsung too is not much behind in this department as in the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event, the Korean tech giant will unveil Galaxy S10+ with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB of RAM.
Xiaomi has been teasing the Mi 8’s successor, the Xiaomi Mi 9, in its flagship line-upon social media and the internet. Earlier the camera array of Mi 9 was revealed with triple-rear camera setup along with bezel-less display. After the reveal of Mi 9’s cameras the company’s founder Lei Jun announced the high-end version of Xiaomi Mi 9, which will be named the ‘Mi 9 Transparent Edition’. As its name suggests, it will have a transparent back so some of its internals will be visible to the user like the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. There will also be an ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ (a sci-fi movie) branding on the back of the smartphone.
The difference between the Xiomi Mi 9 and the Mi 9 TE is just in the camera, increased RAM and transparent back design department. The rest is the same as the regular Xiaomi Mi 9. Like the original Mi 9, the Transparent Edition will also have a 48MP main camera, but it will be a 7P lens with f/1.47 aperture. The gradient glass on the back of the Transparent Edition of this smarrphone will be 0.4mm thick.
Some of the specifications of the Mi 9 is that it will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It will have Laser Autofocus which combines PDAF and CDAF along with a closed-loop Voice Coil Motor (VCM)for faster autofocus. The smartphone too features an in-display fingerprint scanner, but unlike regular ultrasonic scanners it has an optical scanner, which according to the company is 25% faster than the regular scanners. The device will have a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7% and will also have a water-drop notch. It will carry a speaker with sound output of 0.9cc.
Both the Xiaomi’s smartphones, the Mi 9 and the Mi 9 Transparent Edition, were announced today and will be launching on February 20, 2019. Also, the Galaxy S10 will be launching on the same day. So, it will be one smartphone packed week for mobile lovers to look forward too.

These printers have been made especially for office printing market and they have many features that—the company claims—would persuade mono laser printer users to shift to EcoTank printers.
The three printers are aimed at lowering business printing costs, which is incurred with the use of mono laser printers. They charge 12 paise per print, which makes their printing cost 23 times lower than mono laser printers. The mono laser printers cost Rs 2.74 per print with original toners.
According to Epson, the monochrome EcoTank printers have especially been designed by taking into account UN Sustainable development Goals (SDG). There are refill ink bottles that provide an ultra-high page yield of up to 6,000 pages per bottle compared to laser printers which have an original toner yield of up to 2,000 pages per toner. According to the company, this will help businesses to get over the frequent changes of toners and consequently, help them reduce carbon footprint to a considerable amount.
The Epson M1100 and M1120 come with 1,440×720 dpi and provide a print speed of up to 32ppm (pages per minute). Both the printers weigh 3.5 kgs. Exclusively, the Epson M1120 comes with Epson iPrint, Epson Email print, remote print driver and google cloud print. Maximum paper size for Epson M1100 and M1120 is 215.9x1200mm.

All the three printers have a warranty period of up to three years and can provide up to 50,000 prints. Siva Kumar, General Manager of InkJet Printers, Epson India said, “For organizations that are concerned about their printing costs and are concerned about the environment, there is no better option than Epson’s M Series EcoTank printers. 23 times lesser printing costs and over 17 times lesser power consumed translate into significant savings over the life of a printer.”

A few days back, we reported that a hacker has stolen data of hundreds of million users leaked in various data breaches and put them on sale on a Dark Web marketplace. Now, the same hacker has posted the third set of nearly 93 million hacked databases for sale.
According to a report that surfaced online on ZDNet, this time the hacker (who goes by the name of Gnosticplayers) has put up an additional 93 million user records for sale, and these were gathered from eight companies including GfyCat, which is a popular platform to host and share GIFs. The stolen information primarily includes holders’ names, email addresses and passwords.
According to the report, “The hacker is selling each database individually on Dream Market. Together, all eight are worth 2.6249 Bitcoin, which amounts to roughly $9,400 (approximately Rs 6.7 lakhs).”
Gnosticplayers had earlier posted data of 620 million users that it had collected from 16 websites, which was followed by another batch of data of 127 million users which was from eight portals. The second batch of data included around 18 million user records from travel booking website Ixigo and 40 million was from a live-video streaming site YouNow.
He currently has a total of approximately 840 million records and he aims to sell this data and then disappear with the money.
In a statement to ZDNet, Gnosticplayers said, “New leaks are coming, including one from a cryptocurrency exchange.”
We should mention that the same hacker earlier claimed that he has more than 151 million records from websites like MyFitnessPal and 25 million records from Animoto. That’s not all, data of some other websites that have suffered breaches also lies with the hacker.
It worth mentioning that while some of these websites did announce that they have suffered breaches in the last few years, others were tight-lipped about it till now. Among the websites that did warn its users about the data breaches include MyHeritage, MyFitnessPal and Animoto.
If you think that your email address has been compromised, you can go and check the same on a website called Have I Been Pwned, which keeps a track of all major data breaches.
There are just two days left for the Vivo V15 Pro to launch, that is on February 20. And even at this stage, there is another render that has tipped about the smartphone’s two colour options. These colour options include gradient blue and gradient red. The leak which was publicised earlier talked about its gradient blue colour. It is only after the latest leak we have been able to know about its gradient red colour. A more thorough look at the leaked images tells us that the Vivo V15 Pro will come with a pop-up selfie camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack, too. Which previously had a big “maybe” in front of it.
Other than this, we also know that the bottom of the smartphone will house a charging port, the SIM card tray, and the speaker grill. There are very thin bezels at the sides and an all-screen display, considering that the chin is absent. While we indeed see this in the current leak, tipster Ishan Agarwal said on the contrary. He said that the Vivo V15 Pro might have bezels as earlier, Vivo has reportedly altered them in marketing images. To talk about the specifications of the Vivo V15 Pro, it has been said that the smartphone will come with a triple rear camera setup.
The triple rear camera setup is going to include a 48MP, 8MP and a 5MP sensor. Along with this, it will have a 32MP pop-up selfie camera on the front. The Vivo V15 Pro will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm 675 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone will reportedly sport a 6.39-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Ultra FullView Display. It will pack a 3,700mAh battery with “Dual Engine” fast charging technology. Lastly, the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
When it comes to its pricing, the Vivo V15 Pro will cost Rs 33,000. Until the mobile phone is launched, take all this information with a pinch of salt. However, since these images claim to be official renders, they are probably as good as the information you get from the launch itself.

While Google Chrome’s Incognito Mode known to be more private than the regular mode of the browser, it is not entirely hidden. Over the year, some website developers have found a way to know if a user is surfing the website in the incognito mode.
If you don’t believe us, you can simply search “How to detect incognito mode” and you will find plenty of information about it, including tools that help developers know is a user is surfing in the supposedly private mode. This is particularly problematic in case we are using the incognito mode to look for flight tickets or an expensive product to avoid a price surge. However, this hasn’t gone down too well with Google and the search giant is working to fix this, as it has recently committed to Chromium’s Gerrit source code management.
Once this happens, your incognito mode will truly do what it is supposed to. With incognito mode, the search giant intends to give users a mode that disconnects them from the Google account they have used to log in, as well as from Facebook and Amazon.
However, the flaw that lets website developers know if a user is browsing their website in the incognito mode has been around for a very long time. We all know that most of the websites on the internet make money via advertising and they need to track their users’ activities for it in order to collect the required data.
Currently, for tracking users in the Incognito Mode, developers try to access the Filesystem API, which is disabled by default when the user starts browsing in the incognito mode. However, if they are not able to access the Filesystem API, the user remains undetectable in the Incognito Mode.
But now, this is set to change as reports suggest that Google will be removing the FileSystem API altogether. Instead, a virtual file system will be created using RAM when it is asked for a file system in the Incognito Mode.
It is worth mentioning that the incognito detection prevention feature will be rolled out in Chrome 74, however, it will be behind a flag. So, those who do know how to use the flag system will be able to access and enable the function. However, if you want this function to be enabled automatically, you would have to wait for Chrome 76.

Tablets have become more like a technology of the past, with the rise of big screened smartphones. Now it has become rare to see someone with a tablet and rarer to see companies making those tablets. One of the companies that is still making tablets is Samsung, which has not forgotten the technology. In the past week we got to see what the upcoming flagship tablet from Samsung will look like, the Galaxy Tab S5e. But, now the company has launched their new affordable tablet, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), which is currently launched only in Germany with its Global launch coming soon.
The newest tablet from the South Korean tech giant comes in two variants based on its connectivity. There is a Wi-Fi variant of Galaxy Tab A 10.1 priced at 210 euros (approx. Rs 17,000) and the Wi-Fi + LTE variant, which is the higher variant of the tablet priced at 270 euros (approx. Rs 22,000). That is the major difference between the tablets, as both are available with the same configuration. They both come in three colour options – Black, Gold and Silver. We can see it launching in the Indian market in the coming months.
Talking about the specifications of Galaxy Tab A 10.1, it will have a 10.1-inch Full HD+ display with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. Unlike the flagship tablet of Samsung, the Tab A 10.1 will have thick bezels on all sides. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7904 SoC and has 3GB RAM along with 32GB storage. Its storage can be expanded to 400GB via a microSD card. Its rear camera has an 8MP sensor and on the front it has a 5MP one. Over that, this tablet comes with Wi-Fi, Cat 6 LTE and Bluetooth 5.0 with a battery of 6,150mAh.
Unlike the Galaxy Tab S5e, which will have AKG speakers, the Tab A 10.1 comes with dual Dolby Atmos speakers. Priced under the 20K range, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 could be a good media device, but some good phones too come in the same price range. So, it will all come down to taste and the need of the user.

Numerous leaks of the Huawei P30 and P30 pro have emerged in the recent past. From what we know the smartphones are supposed to come with 5G tech and make their presence at the Mobile World Congress that is just a few days ahead of us. The latest news surrounding the Huawei P30 is that it will be launched in Paris during the end of March. This doesn’t strike us off guard because Huawei has been unveiling its devices in Paris around the same time period.
The date for this unveiling in all likelihood is March 28, 2019. However, since Huawei had plans to launch this phone at the MWC, this sounds odd. Probably only the showcasing will be down at MWC followed by the Global launch in March.
A fresh User Agent Profile leak has publicised the smartphones with the codename ELE-L29 and VOG-L29 for the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro respectively. It reveals that the P30 pair will sport a screen resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels and come with Android 9.0 Pie. A case render cited by GSM Arena reveals that the Huawei P30 Pro will come in a vertical arrangement along with a dual LED flash on the right. The Huawei P30 Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup with the flash located below it.
There is more information, albeit not more than mere speculations. Both smartphones will come with an under-display fingerprint reader and hence an OLED panel is in the works. They will be powered by Kirin 980 chipset. On the front, there is a waterdrop notch on both the phones that resembles the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20X.
To recall, the Huawei Mate 20X was launched in November last year. The smartphone sports an AMOLED 7.2-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1,080×2,244 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It runs Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box skinned with EMUI 9.
The Huawei Mate 20X has 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage. With the use of a microSD card slot, the smartphone can hold up to 256GB of additional data. The handset has a triple rear camera setup that comprises of an 8MP, 20MP and a 40MP sensor. On the front, there is one 24MP sensor that is meant for clicking selfies.

The Zombies have finally come to haunt the PUBG Mobile players. The Zombie mode will be released on February 19 for PUBG Mobile through an update. Earlier this week PUBG Mobile announced that they would be launching the Zombie mode in the Mobile version of the game with the latest update 0.11.0. Maintenance of the game will be taking place on February 18, a day before the update.
The Zombie mode is coming to the mobile platform in relation to the Resident Evil 2 release, and the main screen will have Resident Evil’s theme and music. Just like the Halloween theme and the Christmas theme, the Zombie mode will also be a temporary inclusion to the game.
There won’t be many new things included in this new update as it is solely focuses on the Zombie mode. The BC to UC conversion, PUBG Mobile Prime and Prime Plus subscription will be as is. The new gun which was to be included in the game, the G63C won’t be available to players, but they can get it by killing bots (computer-controlled players) in the Vikendi map.
PUBG Mobile 0.11.0 update will bring the following additions:
Zombie Mode
New snow area in Erangel map
New dynamic weather in Miramar and Erangel map
Classic commands (voices)
Tukshai for Sanhok map
New death cam feature, it will allow the player to see how they died
Snow bikes in Vikendi map
Vikendi map removed from beta
New dance emotes
Earlier a beta version of the Zombie mode was released and it was received well by the fans, so Tencent Games went with the idea to launch is fully. With the new update, PUBG Mobile will be bringing the Zombies from the Resident Evil series and will let them roam free in the maps of PUBG.
Now, the players will have to fight and survive not just other players, but zombies as well. With two types of threat looming in on the players, they will need to keep an eye out and play with a better survival strategy as it plays a huge role in the game now more than ever. You can be killing Zombies and some other players might be zooming in on you with their sniper or you might be ambushing some players and Tyrant (one of the zombies) might be behind you.
That’s why, the players will need to squad up and hunt zombies and players simultaneously. As, when in a squad, the chances of survival increase because when you get knocked out your teammate can revive you and you can fight again. With teammates there is always someone to watch your back.
After its release the players can taste what the new update brings and maybe the zombies too can taste what delicious brains the players have. That chicken dinner is looking tougher to get in the new mode. Nevertheless, should be fun to play.

Xiaomi’s 2019 flagship will be the Mi 9 and it has been scheduled to launch on February 20. The company has been teasing fans with teasers, looks and specifications of the phone for quite some time. But now Xiaomi went one step ahead to reveal few more details about the phone which includes its camera setup, display and one colour variant of the phone.
Mi 9 will come with triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor that has 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology (also known as pixel binning). The sensor will be of 0.8 micron with aperture f/1.75 and will have a 6-element lens configuration. The second camera of the phone will be a 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor. It will have 117-degree FOV (field of view) with f/2.2 aperture. The sensor will also have auto-focus to prevent the pictures from getting blurred. Unlike the main camera, the secondary camera will have pixel size of 1.0 micron and will have a 6-element lens setup.
Although the second camera is a wide-angle lens, the company claims that it will support 4cm macro photography. It means that it will be able to take pictures of objects placed 4cm in front of the camera and will capture full-details of the object. Regular phone cameras have trouble focusing objects so close to the camera but company’s co-founder, Lin Bin said that the sensor utilizes an anti-distortion algorithm to make the pictures less blurry and more detailed.
The third camera of the setup will be a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 1-micron pixel size. It will have f/2.2 aperture and will also have autofocus with 6-element lens configuration. The company also said that the rear camera setup is protected by Sapphire glass so that it will keep the camera safe from scratches. Keeping the rear cameras aside, the front camera of the phone will be a 20MP sensor with AI beautification features. Earlier, Xiaomi released some camera samples of Mi 9 online with pictures from each lens and also revealed the details of the sensors.
The body of the phone is also slimmer and almost bezel-less than its predecessor. Its chin is of 3.6mm, which is 40% slimmer than Mi 8. The company’s founder also shared image of the phone in space grey colour option with glossy finish. Aside from the space grey variant the phone will also come in a pink gradient version and a blue gradient version.
We should also mention that Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has shared another teaser of the upcoming smartphone on Chinese social networking platform Weibo. Apart from the launch date of Mi 9, the teaser shows that the device will come with 90.7% screen-to-body ratio and will sport a 6.4-inch Samsung AMOLED full HD+ display. The image further reveals that the smartphone’s display will come with a 103.8% NTSC super wide colour gamut coupled with 600 nits of brightness.

After Samsung, Oppo, Huawei and Xiaomi, TCL will be launching its first foldable smartphone soon. This smartphone has a unique quality of turning into a smartwatch. It is one amongst the five foldable devices that the Chinese company is set to launch very soon. These five gadgets include two tablets, one with a clamshell-like inward folding display and the other with outward folding display. Then it will launch two smartphones with inward and outward folding display ability, and the last one as we have already mentioned, which folds and turns into a smartwatch.
CNET has access to the company’s renders and patent image filings, via which this news came to light. The images are said to be preliminary and TCL might change its plans, and not release these devices at all. It is unknown as of now, when will TCL release it foldable smartphones. However, a TCL executive has reportedly said that the company’s first foldable device will launch in 2020. Samsung is also planning to launch a foldable device in its upcoming Unpacked event, which is scheduled on February 20, 2019. The foldable screen device, that is reportedly called the Galaxy F is said to cost $1,500 (roughly Rs 1,06,500).
If this turns out to be true then it will be the South Korean tech giant’s costliest device ever. Samsung had earlier posted 27-seconds long teaser video on its official YouTube channel. The video which is titled as ‘The Future Unfolds’ confirms that the Samsung Galaxy F can also be launched at Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 20, 2019.
Oppo is also supposed to launch a foldable smartphone, as well as a device with 10x hybrid zoom. Both of these devices are supposed to be unveiled during the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Considering that MWC is ‘Get closer’, we reckon that the foldable device might be incorporated with the 10x hybrid zoom. Another Chinese brand, Huawei will in all probability showcase a foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress, 2019. This smartphone is said to come with 5G features. Apart from Huawei, Nubia might also showcase its foldable smartphone during the biggest mobile showcasing.

Spinning discs have more or less become a thing of past. Accepting this fact, South Korean technology giant Samsung has said that it will no longer be producing its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players. For those unaware, the players were mostly used for playing music and videos via discs.
Samsung revealed this information to Forbes and it was later confirmed by CNET that the technology company has also stopped the production of some of its 1080p Blu-ray players as well. In a statement given to CNET, a Samsung spokesperson said, “Samsung will no longer introduce new Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray player models in the US market.”
However, we should point out that the company may still produce its existing Blu-ray players for a few months as Samsung has a number of models on sale. Samsung may also have plans for launching new models in regions and countries where spinning discs still aren’t dead. But then, the company has not commented on this yet, so that can mean that all of these are just speculations and Samsung could also mean that it has stopped the production of Blu-ray players for good.
To recall, Samsung became the market leader in this segment when it launched its first player in 2016. But considering that spinning discs are on the decline and they are no longer the way people listen to music or watch movies, we can see why Samsung is quitting on the business altogether.
According to research company Nielsen, Blu-ray and DVD players are among the technology products that are on their way out. The research firm’s Q2 2018 report said, “Some devices, such as DVD/Blu-ray players, are in the declining phase of their product life cycle as streaming devices gain prominence.” The report also added that while earlier 72% of watching households had a Blu-ray or DVD player a year back (from the time when the report was released), only 66% of them still have one.
The same report further added that in the United States, an average person spends only five minutes per day using a Blu-ray or DVD player.
A big reason for this is that streaming services have become very popular and they have also made 4K streams more affordable than they were earlier. 4K movies can now be bought at the same price 1080p HD now via both Apple and Google, and the two companies also enable users to upgrade their HD movies to 4K for free. Another benefit of using streaming services is the variety that they offer. While we had to hoard numerous discs when DVD players were at the peak of their popularity, now, with a simple subscription we have access to a number of movies and TV shows.
