It has a Zen Mode
Zen Mode is a new feature in OnePlus smartphones that is a lot like Google’s Digital Wellbeing. This mode makes the smartphone unusable for 20 minutes. It cannot be cancelled once activated and it mutes all notifications for the stipulated period of time. However, it lets users make emergency calls. But then, all the apps on the smartphone will be disabled apart from the Camera app. Even restarting your smartphone wouldn’t cancel Zen mode.
Comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB RAM
OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the few smartphones in India which comes with the most powerful processor in the world – Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC – coupled with 12GB of RAM. This makes it a handset that will have an extremely smooth and powerful performance.
Stereo speakers
OnePlus 7 Pro comes with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. So basically, when you are watching a video or listening to music, the sound will blast from the top as well as the bottom edge of the smartphone. Wouldn’t that make the video and gaming experience so much better?
Its 48MP primary camera has a Sony IMX586 sensor
OnePlus 7 Pro’s primary camera has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor that has an f/1.6 aperture and 1.6-micron pixels (4-in-1). Is the heaviest OnePlus smartphone
OnePlus 7 Pro weighs 206 grams, and this makes it heavier than any other OnePlus smartphone. The primary reason for this is its 4,000mAh battery, which is bigger than the cell of any other handset by the company.
The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz
OnePlus 7 Pro’s display has a refresh rate of 90Hz, which would ensure an incredible video watching and gaming experience. This is because the smartphone will be able to handle fast-changing frame rates very easily and this will ensure in better and crisper image quality.
Liquid cool technology is present too
The presence of Liquid Cool technology on OnePlus 7 Pro makes it a great smartphone for gaming. Mostly, this technology is only present on smartphones that are specifically meant for gaming. While OnePlus 7 Pro’s gaming capabilities are touted, it is not essentially a gaming-centric device so its a very good feature that the company has added.
No microSD card and IP rating
As always, OnePlus has not added a microSD card on its flagship smartphone. And while there is some level of water resistance, the device isn’t waterproof.
