Valentine’s Day happens every year, and yet the stress of figuring out what to get that special someone never gets easier. Maybe your significant other isn’t the romantic type, and you know that they won’t be impressed by flowers or chocolates; instead, something tech-related that they can get stuck into would be much more up their street.
If you’re struggling with what to get your tech-loving sweetheart this Valentine’s Day, read on for some of our favourite ideas – and they may even help you amp up the romance on the big day, too.

Subscription to their Favorite Streaming Site
Streaming sites such as Netflix and Hulu have taken the entertainment world by storm in the past decade, but unfortunately, they can put a dent in your wallet. If your partner has been contemplating getting a membership for a new streaming site but they aren’t sure, they’ll definitely appreciate you buying it for them. Not only is it a gift they’ll genuinely use, but you’ll also prove that you’ve been listening!
You can also turn this gift into a date since the two of you can settle in for a romantic night with all of the new films on offer. On Valentine’s Day, you can even save yourself the “what should we watch” argument using this handy infographic from ExpressVPN, which will tell you exactlywhat film suits your current mood.
A Smartwatch
Smartwatches have exploded in popularity in the past few years and, with countless options from the Apple Watch to the FitBit, you’re bound to find one that’s perfect for your other half this Valentine’s Day.
It’s worth figuring out how your partner would use a smartwatch; for example, fitness fanatics will appreciate one that can monitor their heartbeat, sleep patterns and other levels. If they’d prefer to use it to easily access their notifications, you should consider a smartwatch that will sync up to their phone. Either way, any tech-head will absolutely appreciate this as a Valentine’s Day gift.

Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers
Your choice here will depend entirely on how your spouse prefers to listen to their music, podcasts, etc. If they work from home or like to play host to family get-togethers, they’ll likely appreciate a sturdy Bluetooth speaker that can handle all of their favourite music at full volume. Alternatively, headphones might be a better choice if they spend a lot of time outdoors or working in public spaces.
It’s worth asking your partner which they would prefer if you’re considering this Valentine’s Day present, because it will (hopefully) be something they’ll get use for years to come.
Overall, what makes a ‘romantic’ present is up to interpretation. Your tech-obsessed partner will likely appreciate these ideas a lot more than a night out. Their practicality also means that every time they use their new gadget, they’ll be reminded of your love for them.

Samsung, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer, presented the all-new Samsung Galaxy S22 Series at this year’s inaugural Galaxy Unpacked event. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are the three models in the lineup. The Ultra is the most expensive of the smartphones, and it also serves as a successor for the company’s successful Galaxy Note series, as it has an upgraded S Pen. All of the devices have a slew of fascinating features, but in our comparison, we’ll concentrate on the top-of-the-line smartphone Ultra. We pitted the smartphone against the iPhone 13 Pro Max to see which gadget is the greatest premium device. So here’s a spec-by-spec comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on topiPhone 13 Pro Max: iOS 15
Even before we use it, the first thing that comes to mind is the design. So, when it comes to design, we liked the iPhone 13 Pro Max over the Galaxy S22 Ultra since it has a more eye-catching appearance and appears more luxurious. However, going with the Ultra would be our choice because the front panel has precisely the appropriate size camera punch hole, whereas the iPhone has a larger camera notch. Another advantage of the Samsung flagship is that it supports the S Pen, which has been upgraded with Wacom technology to enable enhancements to the stylus functions, such as reduced latency. Both handsets feature excellent screens, but the one on the Samsung is noticeably brighter and has a higher resolution and pixel density. In terms of hardware iPhone 13 Pro Max outpaces the 4nm Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is much quicker and can handle anything. They, like the CPU, provide an entirely distinct user experience because one runs Android and the other runs iOS. The former will provide four years of software updates, and the latter will provide at least five years of upgrades. As of yet, we cannot remark on the cameras of either phone because they both give the finest. However, we can confidently state that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will give the iPhone 13 Pro Max a run for its money in this category. As a result, both smartphones provide you with top-notch features. We evaluated all of the specifications of both devices, and your decision will be dependent on your needs. However, when comparing prices, the Samsung S22 Ultra is less expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro, which may influence your decision. If you are willing to pay more money, you can get an iPhone, but we prefer the S22 Ultra.

All three freshly released smartphones include a quad-camera setup with a 50MP sensor. However, the Moto G smartphone has a superior camera setup than the other two smartphones. However, in terms of selfies, Vivo and Redmi devices outperform Moto. Also, all three handsets are powered by a 5,000mAh battery, although only the Moto and Redmi enable 33W fast charging. In terms of display, Vivo outperforms both devices because of its AMOLED display that enables a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of software, the Vivo T1 5G runs FunTouch 12 based on Android 12, whereas its competitors use an earlier generation of Android OS (Android 11). In our opinion, Vivo is a strong competitor in the sub-Rs 20,000 pricing range. Buyers can select any of the smartphones based on their preferences and needs, but we recommend the Vivo T1 5G.

Players who finish the narrative tasks can get the Doug Bikerway skin. The February update for New State Mobile has also included MP5K. It is a 9mm-based SMG that can be outfitted with a number of accessories to aid with recoil management. While in the Troi and Erangel 2052 maps, the quiet, long-range Crossbow is now accessible as a field drop.In addition to this, the latest New State Mobile update also brings new weapon customisations. The M249 rifle may now be modified with a new shield attachment that mounts on the side of its handguard and protects the opposing fire from damaging it, thanks to this update. However, this adjustment results in a significantly slower ADS time.To assist players to match with clans of similar nationalities, recommended clans will now focus on a Clan Master’s nationality. Dyson V12 Detect Slim price and sale details
Dyson V12 Detect Slim has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 58,900. But online it is selling for Rs 55,900. The vacuum cleaner is now available for purchase through the company’s official website as well as via Dyson Demo locations around the nation.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim tech specs
Dyson V12 Detect Slim features a Dyson Hyperdymium motor that provides up to 150 air watts of strong suction and 5-stage filtration that collects 99.99 percent of dust particles down to 0.3 microns for a powerful deep clean. The new Dyson V12 Detect Slim reveals hidden dust by incorporating a diode laser inside the cleaner head that is precisely positioned at a 1.5-degree angle, 7.3mm from the ground to produce the best contrast between dust and floor. The vacuum cleaner can remove the particles and meticulously size and count them 15,000 times per second using an acoustic piezo sensor, which converts vibrations into electrical signals and precisely displays the size and number of particles sucked up on an LCD at the back of the vacuum. In addition to this, the laser dust technology on the Dyson Vacuum cleaner can verify that your house has been thoroughly cleaned. By incorporating a precisely angled inside the cleaner head, Laser Dust Detection exposes particles that are invisible to the human eye. Dyson V12 Detect Slim uses Dyson’s 5-stage advanced filtration technologies, which capture 99.99 percent of particles as tiny as 0.3 microns8.It has been included with a green laser diode – selected for its ability to give the highest contrast – inside the Slim Fluffy cleaner head, precisely positioned at a 1.5-degree angle, 7.3mm off the ground. It implies that buried dust on the floor surface may be detected and cleared that would otherwise be undetectable to the human eye. The user can quantify the dust it finds and then shows it on an LCD screen for real-time scientific verification of a deep clean. The vacuum has an auditory piezo sensor built-in. Carbon fibre filaments in the cleaner head capture microscopic particles, which are then sized and counted up to 15,000 times per second6. The dust enters the vacuum and strikes the acoustic piezo sensor within the bin intake, converting the small vibrations to electrical impulses. The size and amount of dust are shown on the in-built LCD screen, allowing the user to see how much dust the vacuum has cleaned, as well as the different particle sizes, and provide scientific confirmation of a deep clean. The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is intended to automatically boost suction strength when it comes into contact with a considerable volume of dust. When the piezo sensor detects large concentrations of dust in auto mode, reactive suction power is initiated to automatically increase in power. Suction power is lowered to its original level when dust levels return to normal. While the anti-tangle conical brush bar that spirals hair off and into the bin prevents hair from wrapping around the brush bar.

Mobile apps are the most convenient way of doing everything – from buying groceries online to watching your favourite new OTT series. Android users largely only depend on the Google Play Store in order to get the mobile apps that they want to use. While it is quite user-friendly and straightforward to download and install an app from the Google Play Store, there has been a growing interest in sideloading apps off the internet. Sideloading is basically installing a mobile app using its APK file, without downloading and installing the app from the Google Play Store.

What are the benefits of sideloading apps?
While many people might argue that it is safer to download and install apps only from the Play Store, that may not be entirely true. This is because the Google Play Store chooses to exclude many apps that do not adhere to its own Terms and Conditions, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that these mobile apps are not safe for use.
For example, there are many really useful and reputed apps such as Dunzo MO, Dream11, or the Amazon App Store that are not available to download on Play Store. These apps have been banned by Google because they do not fit in with the Terms and Conditions.
Similarly, Google also bans many real money gaming apps as well as betting apps that allow users to play with real money. In fact, Google Play focuses on mobile apps where in-app purchases are made through the Google Play Store, in which case, the tech giant keeps a big cut of every transaction made.
This is another reason why many apps have chosen to keep themselves off of the Play Store on purpose. The biggest example is that of Fortnite, which chose to keep itself off the Play Store so as to not have to share its user revenue with Google unnecessarily.
Before you begin, allow the installation of unknown apps
It is rather simple to download mobile apps without the use of Google Play, but it is not a method that is widely used. But before you begin, you need to allow installation of unknown apps on your device.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Select Biometrics and Security settings.
Step 3: Tap on Install Unknown Apps.
Step 4: Turn on the toggle switch for the application you will use to download the APK file (for example, Google Chrome or Firefox).
Install the app from a third-party marketplace
There are a few places where you can find APK files safely. One method is to directly visit the website of whichever app you’re looking to download. Other than that, you can download apps from a trusted third-party marketplace like APKMirror. Here’s how.
Step 1: Launch your mobile web browser and go to APKMirror.
Step 2: Search for the app you wish to download.
Step 3: Hit the downward arrow icon next to the app.
Step 4: Go through the different versions of the app and hit the green arrow next to the one want to download.
Step 5: On the following page, tap on Download APK/APK Bundle. The APK file will be downloaded to your device soon.
Step 6: Go to the downloads folder and tap on the APK file.
Step 7: Follow the onscreen instructions to install the app.
Use your smartphone manufacturer’s official app store
Most Android smartphones come with their OEM’s app store as a part of their app library. Here are some of the common ones.
Samsung – Galaxy Store
Vivo/iQOO – V-Appstore
Xiaomi/Redmi – Mi Store
Oppo – Oppo Store
OnePlus – OnePlus Store
You can use these app stores to officially download apps that aren’t available on Google Play Store. You don’t need to allow the installation of apps from unknown sources to download apps from these marketplaces.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
