Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to receive Android Pie update before Galaxy S8 smartphones: Report

There’s some good news for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users. The smartphone will be getting the update to Android Pie in February, according to the roadmap shared by Samsung on its Samsung Members app. It is worth noticing that this means that Samsung will be rolling out the Android Pie update to Galaxy Note 8 handsets before Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ devices, which are scheduled to get the update in March. This update was first reported by SamMobile. The South Korean technology giant is also anticipated to roll out the Android 9.0 Pie update to its Galaxy Note 9 phablet in the later part of this month. The smartphone maker has already started conducting a beta programme to test the new features of the upcoming Android Pie update with a few users before it finally rolls it’s out to the masses. Coming back to Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the company’s Members app shows that the smartphone will be getting the OneUI update based on Android Pie. OneUI is Samsung’s new user interface that succeeds the company’s Experience UI and was unveiled at the smartphone maker’s developer conference in November last year along with the foldable phone. It is worth mentioning that although Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be getting updated to OneUI, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ would not be. However, as we mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be getting the Android Pie update in March this year. The only difference is that they will continue to run Samsung Experience UI. We should also mention that earlier, Samsung’s schedule was slightly different as Galaxy Note 9 was expected to get the Android Pie update along with Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in March. Recently, it was also confirmed by Samsung Turkey that all the three devices will be getting the Android Pie update in March. Considering these two maybe it can be assumed that the Android Pie update schedule for Samsung’s 2017 smartphones varies from one market to the other. The company has been rolling out the OneUI update based on Android Pie to Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ since last month. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will also reportedly receive the Android Pie update this month. Image courtesy: SamMobile

Google maps is getting instant messages support, now connect to businesses as you may

Google maps has launched a new update in which there are instant messaging options while you navigate to reach your destination. This messaging option is only meant for businesses to communicate with their customers right now. We can expect Google Maps to make this update available for all its users very soon. As always, the company would probably like to test this new feature for its users before making them widely available. The screenshots show local businesses, so it’s unclear if the feature works on devices where the Messages tab is available. Businesses will, of course have this feature in order for it to work with potential customers. Google Maps offers information about a lot of places, apart from providing directions to any place on this planet. This includes a way to plan meetings with friends. In the near future, Google Maps will also provide a few Waze-like incident reporting features in order to improve navigation further. Google had earlier announced a 3D globe mode for Google Maps. This happened back in the middle of last year. Prior to this, Google Maps used Mercator projection in order to display Earth like a flat surface. It was quite popular back then and made it simple to print what it projected. However, the map did have its fair share of problems, like the size of Greenland and Africa appeared to be the same due to the Mercator projection. Then there was Google Maps & Earth Help forum, wherein there was a question-answer session. In that, to a query addressed to Joel H, he answered, “The first launch of Maps actually did not use Mercator, and streets in high latitude places like Stockholm did not meet at right angles on the map the way they do in reality. While this distorts a ‘zoomed-out view’ of the map, it allows close-ups (street level) to appear more like reality. The majority of our users are looking down at the street level for businesses, directions, etc… so we’re sticking with this projection for now.”

New Motorola Moto G7 case renders leaked: Here is what we know about it

Motorola Moto G7 series has been leaked previously, too. Now, there has been another leak in the form of Case Renders which reveal the phone from all six sides. There is a waterdrop notch on the front, a dual rear camera and also a fingerprint sensor at the back. Previously, from what has been tipped by SlashLeaks we have got to know that the smartphone will come with a slight chin below the display. In terms of the dual rear cameras, we know that they will come with an LED flash. As mentioned, previous reports have revealed the entire Moto G7 series. There are four phones belonging to it—Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. The first three have crossed the Federal Communications Commission(FCC) and the G7 Play was approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission(EEC). From what we know about the smartphones, the G7 and G7 Plus are supposed to have a waterdrop notch. On the other hand, the Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play will have a traditional notch. While the Moto G7 and G7 Plus will have a waterdrop notch, we can make out from the renders that they are comparatively thicker than phones of other brands. The Motorola Moto G7 Power will house a 5,000mAh battery which is the largest amongst all the others in the same series. Earlier in Geekbench, the smartphone scored 1,286 points based on its single-core and multi-core processor performance. The Moto G7 is anticipated to have a headphone jack and USB Type-C charging port. Speaking of operating system, the Moto G7 Play is expected to run on Android Pie out-of-the-box. Also, the device is expected to have a microSD slot, an audio jack, a hybrid SIM slot and a back-mounted fingerprint scanner with a Moto dimple. Coming back to the Motorola Moto G7, it is supposed to be announced by the company during February. The other phones might be announced around that same time period too. The Moto G7 was supposed to launch last month with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core 660 processor, but the launch has been moved further. Reports suggest that it will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery with a 6GB RAM and will come with 64GB on-board storage. Image courtesy: OnLeaks

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1’s price slashed in India

Taiwanese handset maker Asus’ Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone saw a lot of success in the Indian market last year. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in the budget segment by the company and was praised for its powerful specifications and a big battery. Just as the new year started, Asus has made the smartphone an even more attractive buy by slashing the price of all its variants by Rs 1,000. Prior to the price cut, the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage model of the smartphone was priced at Rs 10,999, the 4GB RAM/64GB onboard storage version cost Rs 12,999 and the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant came at a price tag of Rs 14,999. Post the price cut, the 3GB RAM model is priced at Rs 9,999, the 4GB RAM version costs Rs 11,999 and the 6GB RAM variant can be picked up at Rs 13,999. The smartphones can be bought from Flipkart, which the company’s exclusive retail partner for the said devices. It is worth noticing that this development comes right after Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (review) went on open sale in India. Speaking about the price cut, Dinesh Sharma, Asus’ Head of Mobile Business said, “Early last year we had shared our strategy – firstly, to provide the best technology that will work in India and secondly, to make the smartphone available at an attractive pricing. Today, we are delighted that the strategy has worked well and the ZenFone product line is now well established.” To recall, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (review) sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ IPS Full View display that has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and runs a nearly stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clubbed with Adreno 509 GPU, the smartphone is available in 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM variants. While the 3GB RAM model comes with 32GB internal storage, the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants are available with 64GB onboard storage. The smartphone can hold a microSD card of up to 2TB. On the camera front, the 3GB RAM/4GB RAM models come with a dual rear setup with a 13MP Omnivision sensor and a 5MP depth sensing sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front-facing snapper. Speaking of the 6GB RAM model, it has 16MP+5MP dual rear cameras and sports a 16MP selfie camera. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 mobile houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.

Moto Z4 Play renders reveal waterdrop notch, support for Moto Mods

The Moto Z series is known to have a signature design and it has stuck to it for three years now, partly because the smartphones support Moto Mods that lets users add more features to their device. For some time now, it was being speculated that Motorola’s Moto Z4 series will get a fresh design, because of which the smartphones will not support Moto Mods. However, a video render of the upcoming Moto Z4 Play has surfaced online which proves that these speculations are wrong, and thankfully Moto Mods are going to be around at least for one more year. Moto Z4 Play’s renders have been made by Onleaks in collaboration with technology blog CompareRaja. We should mention that Onleaks has been mostly accurate when it comes to revealing looks of upcoming smartphones, so we can consider these images and video as credible. Moto-Z4-Play The renders reveal that Moto Z4 Play will come with a waterdrop shaped notch and sport thinner bezels than that of Moto Z3 Play. Even the chin of the device will be thinner and that means that unlike what we have seen till now, the smartphone wouldn’t have the Motorola branding on it. Moto Z4 Play 5 On its back panel, Moto Z4 Play will house a circular camera bump and it clearly has space for Moto Mods to be attached. But what surprised us was the fact that Moto Z4 Play will come with a single rear camera, unlike most smartphones from the company that have dual rear cameras. However, we should mention that the sensor comes with a triple LED flash. Moto-Z4-Play 4 While Moto Z3 Play came with a fingerprint sensor on its side edge. However, the render does not show Moto Z4 Play to have the same placement for its fingerprint scanner. We know that it cannot be housed at the back because of the Moto Mod, so we are expecting to see an in-display fingerprint scanner even though the render doesn’t show it. Moto-Z4-Play 6 The smartphone is shown to have 16 connector pins at the bottom, which can be used to attach the Moto Mod. Other than that, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The SIM tray and the speaker grille are at the top and the power and volume rocker buttons are on the right edge. As of now, we are not aware of the specifications of the smartphone, but the display is said to be 6.2-inches in size and its dimensions are reportedly 158 x 75 x 7.25 mm. Samsung Galaxy S10+ case fits Galaxy S9+ perfectly

0
South Korean technology giant Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone has been in news for months now. The smartphone, which is about to be launched in a few weeks, is the company’s tenth-anniversary edition. Samsung is expected to launch three smartphones in its Galaxy S10 lineup this year, followed by a 5G variant that will be launched with the handset maker’s foldable phone. There have been a number of rumours and leaks about the upcoming lineup by Samsung and the latest one to surface online is a video that shows what may be the case for Samsung Galaxy S10+. While the video does not include the smartphone, it does give us an idea about how Samsung Galaxy S10+ may look like. Ice Universe, which is known for sharing leaks about Samsung smartphones, has posted a video on YouTube which showcases the Samsung Galaxy S10+ case. It is worth noticing that the case fits around Samsung Galaxy S9+ quite well. We should mention that Samsung Galaxy S9+ sports a 6.2-inch display while reports suggest that the company’s Galaxy S10+ will come with a 6.4-inch display.
Considering that Samsung Galaxy S10+’s case fits Galaxy S9+ so well, it means that the South Korean technology company plans to add more screen space without actually increasing the size of the smartphone. The case also has cut-outs for USB-C port, volume rocker keys and the dedicated Bixby button. Note that all of these are placed similarly as they were on Samsung Galaxy S9+, so it makes sense how the smartphone’s case fit the ‘predecessor’. There is a large cut-out in the smartphone’s case for the horizontally stacked triple-camera setup, which confirms the reports which claimed the same. The smartphone maker has been focussing on photography-centric smartphones since last year and this was evident when it revamped its Galaxy A series with smartphones that feature triple and quadruple rear camera setups. And now, we are expecting to see multiple rear cameras on its flagship device too. According to reports, Samsung Galaxy S10+ will sport a 12MP wide-angle sensor which will have a 78-degree field of view, a 16MP super wide-angle sensor that will have a 123-degree field of vision and a 13MP telephoto sensor with a 45-degree field of vision. Nokia 9 PureView’s successor to come with Snapdragon 855 SoC, support 5G connectivity

Nokia 9 PureView is a much-anticipated and talked-about smartphone. While we haven’t got a formal confirmation of the upcoming smartphone yet, reports of its successor have already started surfacing online. The successor to Nokia 9 will reportedly come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and have support for 5G connectivity. It has also been reported that the upcoming offering by Nokia will be launched officially in August 2019. All of this has been claimed by a tipster with Twitter account Nokia_Leaks. The tweet read, “Nokia 9 PureView successor with Snapdragon 855 planned tentatively in August 2019. 5G support, Penta-Lens camera, 2K display true edge-to-edge display with camera hole.” The tipster also went on to say that the Nokia 9 successor will pack a “bigger sensor than Nokia 9 PureView” and come with “better imaging quality”. As per the tweet, the successor of Nokia 9 PureView will sport a “true edge-to-edge” QHD (2K) display that will have a cut-out hole to house the selfie camera of the smartphone. It is worth noticing that this will be different from Nokia 9, which will reportedly have a flat display and come with thin bezels. The cut-out selfie camera, till now, has been seen on Samsung Galaxy A8s, Huawei Nova 4 and Honor V20 smartphones. It is also expected to be seen on Samsung Galaxy S10 and now, the tweet by the tipster has claimed that Nokia 9 successor will sport it too.  While Samsung calls this screen type as Infinity O, there is no word on what Nokia will name it. It has also been said that much like Nokia 9 PureView smartphone, its successor will come with a penta-lens camera too. However, in a separate tweet, the tipster said that the smartphone will have a bigger sensor than Nokia 9. Speaking of Nokia 9 PureView, it is expected to be launched at Mobile World Congress that is scheduled for next month and will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 6-inch display panel, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of onboard. We should also mention that since we have no official information about Nokia 9 PureView, these details about its successor can be taken with a pinch of salt. Image courtesy: 91mobiles, @Onleaks

Huawei P30 Pro concept video shows quadruple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei may soon launch its P30 Pro smartphone as a part of its P30 series. As the name suggests, the series is the successor to Huawei P20 series that the Chinese brand launched last year. Although the company hasn’t confirmed that it is working on the smartphone series yet, a concept render video of the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone has been published on YouTube. The video has been posted on YouTube by Waqar Khan and is nearly three minutes long. Needless to say, it reveals certain key specifications about the smartphone. We’ll start with what’s evidently visible. The video shows that Huawei P30 Pro smartphone comes with thin bezels and a waterdrop shaped notch. The device is shown to have curved edges, much like the ones we saw on Huawei P20 Pro. Reports have suggested that the back panel of the device will have a quad camera setup, and this can clearly be seen in the render video of Huawei P30 Pro smartphone. The video shared on YouTube also shows that the upcoming smartphone will be available in a mix of gradient and solid colours. We should mention that the video is not an official one. As we mentioned earlier, it is a concept render video of Huawei P30 Pro based on all the leaks and rumours of the device that have surfaced online in the last few weeks. The smartphone projected in the video has narrow bezels and a thin chin, so we can expect to see Huawei’s next offering with a high screen-to-body ratio. The waterdrop-style notch on the top of the display houses the selfie camera of the device. The back panel of Huawei P30 Pro will reportedly sport four primary cameras. This can be seen in the video, but it is worth noticing that three cameras are stacked together vertically while the fourth one is a separate sensor placed right below them. The rear panel also has the LED flash module coupled with the cameras. The render video also shows the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner and the power and volume rocker buttons can be seen on the right edge. Huawei’s branding is also visible on the back panel of the smartphone. It has been reported earlier that the smartphone will come with a 38MP Sony IMX607 primary sensor that will be powered by Exmor RS image processor. The smartphone is also expected to come with a curved OLED panel. Image and video courtesy: Waqar Khan

12 smartphone trends that India saw in the last twelve months

The smartphone market changed dynamically in 2018 and we got to see a number of new innovations in devices. Here, we have listed down 12 trends the Indian mobile phone industry saw in 2018. The trends listed here have been observed by smartphone recommendations platform, PhoneCurry. These observations are claimed to have been derived from the behavioural mapping from 2.2 million users who used PhoneCurry in 2018 to decide which phone to buy. Take a look at the trends here:

This segment saw the most number of smartphone launches

PhoneCurry launch According to PhoneCurry, around 75% of the smartphones launched in the Indian market were priced below Rs 20,000. And we have to admit, the budget segment of the Indian smartphone market did see some great additions in 2018 including Nokia 6.1 Plus, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Zenfone Max Pro M2, Motorola One Power and Honor 8X.

This technology giant launched the most number of smartphones in the country

PhoneCurry Samsung The smartphone maker that launched the maximum number of devices in India in 2018 was Samsung. According to the data shared with us, Samsung launched 33 smartphones in India in 2018 and also happened to cover the widest price sweep.

‘Phablets’ became the ‘new smartphones’

PhoneCurry display aspect ratio Smartphones with over 5.6-inch displays were considered to be phablets by most in 2017. However, this changed in 2018 as around 61% of the devices that were launched had a display that was 5.6-inches in size or bigger, according to PhoneCurry. So, it’s safe to say that what would have been considered to be phablets in 2017 were smartphones of 2018.

Tall displays were a hit

PhoneCurry display If there was one very prominent trend that the Indian smartphone industry saw in 2018, it was the thinning down of bezels. Smartphone makers even shrank the size of notches on their devices and some completely removed them. All of this was done to provide users with a full-screen experience. According to PhoneCurry, 92% of the smartphones launched came with an aspect ratio of 18:9 or more. And among these, around 59% of the smartphones came with a notch on the top of the display.

Smartphone makers started taking this aspect seriously

PhoneCurry battery Data from PhoneCurry says that average battery capacity in smartphones increased by about 10%. The platform has also said that a majority of smartphones priced above Rs 20,000 came with support for Quick charging.

Most smartphones in this segment came with a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack

PhoneCurry USB Type C Let’s admit it: MicroUSB is a dying port. At least in the premium segment, it is. And this isn’t just our opinion. Data from PhoneCurry supports our statement as it says that around 87% of the smartphones priced over Rs 30,000 came with a USB Type-C port. Another prominent trend among devices launched in this segment is that that they are switching away from the headphone jack.

Dual rear cameras finally started becoming mainstream

PhoneCurry dual rear cameras Another very important observation that has been shared by PhoneCurry is the fact that almost half of the smartphones launched in 2018 came with dual rear cameras. This isn’t something surprising as the year saw a number of photography-centric smartphones getting launched including Samsung Galaxy A9 (review), which is the world’s first smartphone to come with four rear cameras on the back.

Premium smartphones came with this important feature

PhoneCurry water resistant We feel that water resistance is one among the key features a smartphone can have. It automatically gets additional marks from us because users don’t have to be super-careful while using them. And according to PhoneCurry, in 2018, a majority of smartphones priced above Rs 30,000 were water resistant.

This is what happened in the age-old rivalry between iPhones and Android smartphones

PhoneCurry iPhone This one will not come as a surprise as customers’ interest in iPhones declined this year. The exorbitant pricing of the latest lineup may be responsible for it, but it did give an edge to Android smartphones.

PhoneCurry Xiaomi According to data from various research firms, Xiaomi dominated the budget segment of the Indian smartphone market in 2018. And now, PhoneCurry has said that the company happens to have sold the most number of smartphones in India in 2018.

In fact, Xiaomi even failed to grab the second position on this list as that was taken by Oppo’s sub-brand Realme.

Facebook Messenger may soon get the ‘dark mode’

0
A few weeks back, Google acknowledged it that the battery life of an Android smartphone can last longer if you enable dark mode on your device. While the piece of information did prove to be very useful for those who were unaware, the trouble is that not all Android smartphones have the ability to enable dark mode. If your smartphone is one of them, you can enable the dark mode on certain apps which support it. Till now YouTube, Android Messages, Twitter and Pocket were among the popular apps that supported the dark mode. And now Facebook Messenger is reportedly all set to join the bandwagon. According to Android Police, app-teardown expert Jane Manchun Wong posted on Twitter that the Android version of Facebook’s Messenger app is currently testing the dark mode. https://twitter.com/wongmjane/status/1048227405951692801/photo However, the test is being done on a limited number of users and that too in select countries. Although there is no word from either Facebook or Wong about which regions are included in the test, technology website TechRadar has mentioned that the social networking giant is conducting the test on users of its Messenger app in the United States and Australia. Coming back to what Wong said about the new dark mode on Facebook Messenger, it can be enabled by users via a dedicated toggle for the setting in the app’s ‘Me’ section. It is worth noticing that since the mode is currently being tested, it is not complete and changes are being made to it. And in-app ‘work in progress’ message is prompted by Facebook that says, “While we put the finishing touches on dark mode, it won’t appear everywhere in Messenger.” We should also mention that the dark mode has started rolling out on Messenger after some recent changes that have been in done in UI by the company. These include a reduction in the number of tabs and toning down of some clunky design elements. As of now, there is no word on when Facebook Messenger’s dark mode will be rolling to other regions, but we are surely looking forward to it considering that it helps saves battery.

Vivo NEX Dual Display’s new variant to come with Snapdragon 710 SoC and 8GB RAM: Report

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo really gave us a beautifully designed and futuristic looking device when it launched the Vivo NEX (review) earlier this year. And a few weeks back, it launched an even more beautifully designed Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition smartphone in China. As the name suggests, the biggest highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with two displays. While its front panel is dominated by a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED primary display, there is a 5.49-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display at the back panel of the device. The logic behind having two displays becomes clearer on noticing how the smartphone does not have any selfie camera and instead comes with a triple rear camera setup on the back. With this, it is easy to understand that the second display can be used to see ourselves when clicking a self-portrait from the cameras. And now, a new report about the Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition has emerged on GizmoChina which says that the smartphone has been spotted on TENAA. The listing on TENAA states that Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM. We should mention that these values are different from the model that was launched by the company in China, as the initial variant came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 10GB of RAM. According to the TENNA listing, the 8GB RAM variant of Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition will house a 3,425mAh battery and will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It should be noted that the design of the smartphone will not be changed. We should also mention that two models of the smartphone – Vivo V1820A and Vivo V1820T – were listed on the certification website and both had similar specifications. To recall, Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED primary display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a secondary 5.49-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display which dominates the back panel of the device. As we mentioned earlier, the initial version was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU and 10GB of RAM. The device came with 128GB of internal storage. The handset runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with Funtouch OS 4.5 and houses a 3,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. On the camera front, there is a triple rear camera setup with 12MP Dual PD Sony IMX363 sensor, a secondary 2MP night vision camera with 2.9μm pixel size and a 3D TOF camera.

This is when your LG smartphone will get the Android Pie update

0
A number of companies have started sending out timely Android updates and security patches. While all of Nokia smartphones launched were a part of Google’s Android One programme, and OnePlus made sure that it sent out very timely updates for its devices, LG is still lagging behind in this aspect. Unfortunately, the company still struggles to deliver major Android software updates to its smartphones outside South Korea timely. A major reason for this is that LG’s UX software has very heavy customizations so that obviously causes a problem to send timely updates to any devices. So, if we speak about Android Pie update, a number of flagship smartphones from most major smartphone makers have either already got it, or the update is being rolled out to them in a phased manner. However, in LG’s case, the only device that has received an official stable Android Pie based update is G7 One. But then, we should also point out that LG G7 One is a part of Google’s Android One programme, and thus runs stock Android. So basically, it comes without the heavily customized LG UX. Another device by the company to at least get the Android Pie beta in select markets is LG G7 ThinQ. If you happen to own this device and are thinking when it will get the Android Pie update, then we have some news for you. The South Korean consumer electronics maker has officially released its Q1 2019 update roadmap and, according to it, LG G7 ThinQ smartphone is expected to get an official Android Pie update in the first quarter of 2019. Although LG has not mentioned it, reports suggest that the update will begin rolling out in South Korea. However, if the roadmap brings this happy news for LG G7 ThinQ smartphone owners, it also gets bad news for those who own other devices. This is because they may have to wait for long before they get the Android Pie update. So if you own the LG V40 ThinQ or last year’s LG G6, they will only get some bug fixing updates during this time, but there is no word on when they will get the Android Pie update. In fact, there is no word on whether they will be getting the update at all or not. But one thing is certain – those who own these devices will have to at least wait till Q2 2019 to get the Android Pie update. And by then, it is very likely that Google would have at least given us a first look at the Android Q. It is also worth noticing that LG V30 was not mentioned in the roadmap at all. So if you own the smartphone, we wouldn’t get your hopes high by saying anything about expecting the update.
