Last week Twitter paused taking requests for the new verifications on its platform. The microblogging site relaunched the verification programme on May 20 but on receiving a large number of application the company had to stop accepting new applications. As promised the San Francisco, California-headquartered company has again reopened the Twitter verification requests and will begin awarding blue badge to the verified accounts. Twitter has resumed the process of taking user requests for their profile verification after four days halt. The social media platform informed about resuming the programme via Tweet which read, “Requests are Open! Sorry about that pause- now you can get back to your quest for a blue badge.” Those who are unaware the microblogging site has restarted the verification application process after more than four years. It started taking user requests for the profile verification from May 20 but had to pause the allocation process just after one week it was restarted after 2017. It informed the user via tweet reading, “We’re rolling in verification requests. So we gotta hit pause on accepting any more for now while we review the ones that have been submitted. The Hong Kong-based smartphone company Infinix Mobile has announced to launch its latest smartphones in the Indian market. The company has confirmed to launch Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro in the Indian market on June 7. To recall both the devices were introduced globally last month. Both the phones come with an FHD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The smartphones are powered by a MediaTek processor and feature a triple rear camera set up.  The Chinese smartphone company Infinix Mobile announced via Twitter that on June 7 in India it will be launching Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro. The company has also shared a teaser on the microblogging website. In addition to this, the devices have also been listed on Flipkart to tease their availability. However, the company has not hinted at the pricing but the phones will be priced under Rs 20,000 price segment. To recall Infinix Note 10 was launched globally last month with a price tag of $200 that translates to Rs 14,713 and the price of the Note 10 Pro was made available at  $260 that comes around Rs 19,127. The vanilla Note 10 comes in three colour options of Black, Emerald Green, and Purple whereas the Pro model was introduced in Black, Nordic Secret, and Purple colour options. Speaking of the specification both the phones features a 6.95-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 1080×2460 pixel resolution. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sampling rate. Infinix Note 10 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Whereas Note 10 Pro equips a MediaTek Helio G95 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The devices run XOS 7.6 based on Android 11 out of the box. In terms of cameras, the vanilla variant includes a triple rear camera set-up that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. On the front, it sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera. While on the contrary Infinix Note 10 Pro features a  quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.7 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 120-degrees of FoV, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies. There is a 5,000mAh battery on both phones but the standard variant supports 18W fast charging while the Pro version has 33W fast charging support. Honor Band 6 was launched in China later last year and is now all set to enter the Indian market. The smart band has been listed on Flipkart to tease its availability in the country. However, an exact launch date for its arrival has not been confirmed. It just has been listed on the e-commerce platform and the launch is expected to happen soon. The watch features a rectangular 1.47-inch colour display. It offers 10 sports modes and comes with 24-hour heart rate monitoring and women’s health management features. It smart band claims to last for up to 14 days on typical usage The Chinese company has not yet confirmed the launch date but the Flipkart listing reveals the key highlights of the upcoming wearable. As for the pricing, the Honor band 6 is available in China in two models, a standard one comes at CNY 249 (approx Rs. 2,800) whereas the NFC variant is available at CNY 289 (approx Rs. 3,300). The Indian pricing is likely to be similar to China, however only the regular variant is expected to be launched in India. The biggest USP of the Honor Band 6 is that it can not be wholly categorised under a smart band nor in the smartwatch category. It falls between the both because of its design, which is not big as a smartwatch and not sleek as a fitness band. As said, it features a rectangular 1.47-inch colour display that comes with touch support and a 2.5D curved glass. The device offers options for over 100 dial faces choosing from. It will be available in three colour options – Coral Powder, Meteorite Black, and Seagull Grey.  Honor 6 Band comes loaded with 10 workout modes that include outdoor/indoor running, cycling, swimming, and walking. While it can detect the other 6 workouts automatically as it has an automatic activity tracking feature. With Huawei’s TruSeen 4.0 tech the fitness band can monitor heart rate all day. In addition to this, it includes SpO2 monitoring whereas the built-in sleep monitor keeps track of your sleep patterns and offers suggestions. Furthermore, Honor Band also offers women’s health management features that include ovulation tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, and more. It also gets voice control support to activate digital assistants. The whereas is compatible with any smartphone running Android 5.0 and above using Bluetooth 5.0. Vivo’s X60 Series debuted in India this year in March. The line-up includes three smartphones that are dissimilar to the Chinese variant. Now according to a fresh report, the company is planning to introduce its next-generation Vivo X70 Series in the coming months. With the announcement of the IPL 2021 Phase 2 dates, the smartphone is going to make its India debut at the same time in association with IPL. According to a report by Gizmochina, citing information from its source named Yogesh, the Vivo X70 Series is slated to launch in India in September in collaboration with the Indian Premier League. It should be noted that Vivo has been the prime sponsor of IPL for many years. The second leg of the IPL is confirmed to begin in UAE in September. All the remaining 31 matches will be played between September 17 and October 10 so Vivo’s next-gen X-Series of smartphones are likely to arrive between these mentioned dates. Although the exact date for the launch still remains a mystery.  As far as the specifications are concerned, the report stated that the forthcoming Vivo X70 Series will be similar to its predecessor X60 lineup and it will not receive many upgrades like the Vivo V21 smartphone.  The information about the X70 series is very scarce but the alleged specifications of the X70 Pro+ smartphone dropped on the web. The key specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC onboard. Moreover, the device is likely to house a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. In terms of cameras, it is said to include a 1/1.28-inch primary sensor.  In the previous month, the vanilla X70 with model number V2123A appeared on the Geekbench website. After waiting for a long time Poco M3 Pro 5G finally has an official launch date for the Indian region. The launch of the 5G smartphone is now set for June 8. The device was earlier scheduled to launch here and in the global market on May 19 but was postponed in India due to rising COVID cases. The upcoming smartphone features a Full-HD+ display and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. There is a 5,000mAh battery on board with 18W fast charging support. The company took to Twitter to make the official announcement that the Poco M3 Pro is set to launch in the country on June 8. Poco has not shared further information but has been listed on Flipkart to tease its availability. Expected pricing and availability Speaking of the pricing the global variant is priced at 159 euros that translates to Rs 14,226 for the base 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Whereas the price of the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model is set at 179 euros that translates to Rs 16,000. Poco M3 Pro 5G is expected to be available in three colour options of Power Black, Poco Yellow and Cool Blue. Coming to the specs, the Poco M3 Pro 5G is highlighted with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate panel and 400 nits of brightness. The device runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The global version comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS2.2 storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.  In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera set up consisting of a 48MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture. Further assisted by a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4. For taking selfies, the device equips an 8MP front-facing camera at f/2.0 fps aperture. There is a 5,000mAh battery on board that supports 18W fast charging. On the connectivity front, there is 5G / 4G, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and more as connectivity options. Nvidia has announced the launch of two new graphics cards at Computex 2021. The company has introduced the flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards based on Ampere architecture. Both the models support the company’s own DLSS upscaling technique. These graphics cards are claimed to offer other features such as ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS performance-boosting AI, NVIDIA Reflex latency-reduction and more. With the introduction of the flagship Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card the company has also confirmed the pricing and the availability of the GPUs. As per the tech firm the new flagship gaming GPU of the GeForce RTX family, the RTX 3080 Ti will be available worldwide on June 3 starting at 1,22,000 in India and $1,199 in the US with the RTX 3070 Ti available next week starting at Rs. 61,000 and $599 in the US. The company said that both the GPUs will be available for purchase as custom boards — including stock-clocked and factory-overclocked models — from leading add-in card providers, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, GIGABYTE, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, Zotac and other regional providers around the world. Moreover, the limited edition NVIDIA Founders Edition boards will also be available. These graphics cards will be available at the major retailers and etailers, as well as in gaming systems from major manufacturers and leading system builders worldwide and India. Both the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards are based on the current Ampere architecture. iQoo has just now confirmed to launch iQoo Z3 5G in India on June 8. The device also got listed on the e-commerce website Amazon to tease its availability. The company has yet confirmed other specs but has revealed the processor. As per the company, the upcoming phone will be India’s first to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC.  Vivo’s sub-brand took to Twitter to officially announce the exact launch date for its upcoming smartphone iQoo Z3 5G. According to the company, it has scheduled to launch its 5G smartphone in India on June 8 at 12 noon. However, it is not yet clear whether it will be hosting a dedicated event virtually. Prior to its official launch, the company has listed the device on Amazon to tease its availability. The Notify Me button has also gone live on the e-commerce platform. The company is also running a contest that will give a chance to three lucky winners to win iQoo Z3 smartphones. To take part in the contest the participants need to enable the notifications by hitting the “Notify Me” button on the dedicated microsite on the e-commerce platform. iQoo Z3 5G was launched in China in March this year. The device runs OriginOS for iQoo 1.0 based on Android 11. It features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display offering 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC with Adreno 620 GPU. There is expandable storage of up to 1TB using a microSD card. For the photos and videos, there is a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel lens. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling.  In addition to this, the 5G smartphone has a 4,400mAh battery on board with 55W fast charging support. On the connectivity front, there is 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

Google was expected to unveil its next generation of Pixel devices at its annual tech event I/O  held last month which did not happen. However, the leaks, rumours and report related to Pixel 6 continue to do the rounds on the web. As per the latest update the device would come with several camera improvements. As per a tipster, it would include a much-optimised image signal processor and video recording. The leaks have already revealed that the company might launch two devices this time a vanilla Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Also instead of a dual camera set up, it is expected to come with a triple rear camera set up. According to a tweet by tipster Tron on Twitter the upcoming Pixel 6 device is expected to have received significant camera improvements over its predecessor. However, he did not mention which device whether it is Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro will come with the mentioned improvements. He says that the device’s camera will have a Gimbal like image stabilisation mode on the camera app. In addition to this, there will be a Samsung’s sensor which is going to be bigger in size along with Google custom NPU and image signal processor (ISP) better than Pixel 5 as well as big improvements in the video department as well. Renders leaked in the past suggests that the camera bump will be a little bit raised. The rear will also have a thick black bar stretching to the full width of the device and will be available in dual-tone finish and distinct colour options.  The front will carry a bezel-less OLED display that may feature a 120Hz high refresh rate panel with a centrally positioned small punch-hole cutout to house a selfie camera. Additionally, there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner instead of a rear-mounted one.  We have also learnt that this time the Google Pixel will come equipped with its own ‘GS101′ silicon. The in-house chipset is codenamed “Whitechapel” which is also being referred to as GS101. It is being developed with the help of Samsung so the chipset is expected to share some similarities with its Exynos chipsets. It is also said to have an octa-core ARM CPU with two Cortex-A78 plus two Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores. Intel has expanded its lineup of 11th Gen Intel Core mobile U-series processors with the addition of two new chipsets. The company has introduced Core i7-1195G7 and Core i5-1155G7 paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics specifically designed for slim and lightweight laptops at Computex 2021. In addition to this, the company has also announced a 5G M.2 modem for laptops. “We’ve taken the world’s best processor for thin-and-light Windows laptops and made the experience even better with the addition of our two new 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics. In addition, we know real-world performance and connectivity are vital to our partners and the people who rely on PCs every day, so we’re continuing that momentum with more platform capabilities and choice in the market with the launch of our first 5G product for PCs: the Intel 5G Solution 5000.” –Chris Walker, Intel corporate vice president and general manager of Mobility Client Platforms According to the company, the two new chipsets are the company’s first to have got 5.0 GHz clock speed in its top of the line U-series. It offers up to 25% overall application performance advantage over the competition. Both the processors come with Wi-Fi 6/6E (Gig+) for improved connectivity. The Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Core i5-1155G7 comes with four-core / eight-thread configurations and operates in the 12W to 28W range. The Intel Core i7-1195G7 is clocked at speed of 2.9GHz which can achieve a maximum single-core speed of  5.0GHz using Intel’s Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology.  On the other hand, Core i5-1155G7 has a base clock speed of 2.5GHz  and can achieve a  speed of 4.5GHz. These chipsets will come with ISV optimizations for up to eight times faster transcoding and up to twice the video editing speed over the competition. In addition to this, these will also offer 1080p gameplay on new and popular titles, such as Valheim, with up to a 2.7 higher frame rate than that of the competition. Both the chipsets are expected to arrive by this holiday season, with laptops from Acer, ASUS, Lenovo and MSI available this summer. Nearly 250 designs powered by 11th Gen Intel Core U-series processors are expected by this holiday season. Apart from this Intel has also introduced its first 5G M.2 solution which comes with worldwide carrier certification. Xiaomi’s spin-off brand is all set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company is expected to bring Poco X3 GT as a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The device is also tipped to launch in other markets as well with similar branding. To recall, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has been introduced in China last week featuring a 67W fast charging support. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and comes with triple rear cameras. According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek with handle @kacskrz on Twitter the alleged smartphone is expected to be introduced in Turkey and Indonesia as well as India. He has also shared a screenshot of a list of names of Xiaomi devices which also includes Poco X3 GT in the list. Also, when the Redmi smartphone was launched in China then too he mentioned that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G may arrive in some global markets. Another Redmi smartphone is also reserved to come to India with Poco branding. Previously, the company executive confirmed that Poco F3 GT will be launched in India in the third quarter of 2021. The phone is tipped to be a rebranded variant of Redmi K40 Gaming. Upfront, it might come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, it is likely to have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and others. There will be a 5,000mAh battery on board with 67W fast charging support. As far as the pricing is concerned, there will be not much but a slight difference in the pricing of the alleged smartphone. In China Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was launched in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option at CYN 1,599 that translates to Rs 18,200, CNY 1,799 that translates to Rs 20,500 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model will be available with a price tag of CNY 1,999 that comes around Rs 22,800. iQoo Z3 5G teased to launch in India soon
A teaser of iQoo Z3 5G to launch (by Vivo’s sub-brand) is doing the rounds in India. However, the exact timeline for the launch has not been revealed. To recollect, this smartphone has already been launched in China and features a 120Hz screen refresh rate display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC and is the successor to the iQoo Z1 series. iQoo took to Twitter to announce the arrival of its latest product to join the Z-series lineup in India. The company will soon launch iQoo Z3 5G in the country which was launched in China in March.

The device will come to India with a similar price tag as available in China. There it is available at CNY 1,699 that translates to Rs 18,900 for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Select “Hyphenation” from the “Page Layout” section to do so. It is possible to operate manually and automatically. Long empty spaces would be removed, making the text appear more organic and comfortable to read.

Acer has announced the launch of upgraded Acer Predator Orion 3000 and Acer Nitro 50 gaming desktop PC lineups in the market. The devices have been refreshed with 11th-generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000-series desktop processors. It also equips Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs for graphics. Besides this, the company has also introduced three gaming monitors.

The Acer Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) will come with a price of $1,199 (approx Rs 86,800) in North America from July. Whereas the price for the EMEA has been set at EUR 949 (approx Rs 36,700) and will be available in October.
