Realme X, Realme X Youth Edition price and availability
The Realme X is available in three variants in China. While the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant costs CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,400). the 6GB RAM/64GB storage model and the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version are priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 16,400) and CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,500) respectively. The handset will be available in White and Blue colour variants with a gradient finish. The Chinese smartphone brand will also be seen releasing two special editions of the smartphone that will have Onion and Garlic finishes. However, there will only be available in 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and will be priced at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs 19,500). Realme X Youth Edition is available in 4GB RAM/64GB storage model, 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant and 6GB RAM/128GB storage version that are priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 12,300), CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 13,300) and CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,400) respectively. Realme X runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with ColourOS 6.0 and features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2%. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM, the handset has up to 128GB of storage. For imaging duties, there is a dual rear camera setup that comprises of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the camera front, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup that comes with a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP sensor that has an f/2.4 aperture. A 25MP front-facing camera is also present on Realme X Youth. For connectivity, the device has a fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, and Widevine L1 certification. The tweet also comes with an image that confirms that the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone will no longer be the only device by Xiaomi to come with a 48MP primary sensor. Talking about the design of the device, it looks similar to the other Oppo Reno smartphones launched before it. But since it is a mid-range segment smartphone it won’t have the shark-fin pop-up selfie camera.
