Apple TV application released by the company weeks before its Streaming Service launch

0
Apple has released a new application which can be used to watch television for the Apple devices along with Apple TV (one with internet connection). The move comes from the Cupertino-based tech giant before its release of its own original shows. The new app will also help the company to generate more revenue by reselling other companies’ programmes. The new Apple TV application comes with many changes and new features and it will try to solve the problems the current streaming services are facing. The new Apple TV app is available in more than 100 countries and markets and it will try to bring other streaming services together. By doing that, it will be able to show more content and news on one platform. This will help the user greatly as they won’t have to juggle between one or more streaming platforms. The Apple TV app also gives the users personalised recommendations based on their viewing habits. The Apple TV app will allow the users to sign up to the platform and pay for the channels they haven’t already subscribed to but want to watch. By using Apple TV app, the users won’t have to create new passwords, IDs and download additional applications. As Apple TV app will converge more than one streaming services to itself so the users can pay for whatever he wants to watch and subscribe to. Some platforms have already joined the Apple TV, while streaming services like HBO, Starz, Showtime and Tastemade will be joining the platform soon. The officials of the company haven’t said anything about the pricing details of the Apple TV app signups. But the people familiar with this say that the company will take a cut of the subscription fees when the customers will use the Apple TV app to sign up for a channel they want to view.
When launched, the Apple TV app will allow the users to search for a show or program across multiple services and they can then choose which one they want to see. They can even use Apple’s AI Siri to guide them. And as mentioned above, the application will also recommend shows based on the viewing choices and watching habits of the users. But it should be noted that some of the main platforms won’t be a part of Apple TV, and the most prominent one among these is Netflix. When the user searches for a program while the Apple TV app they will be able to see the Netflix’s programs in the search results. But they won’t be able to watch them and they would need to exit the Apple TV app to watch the program on Netflix’s app. Currently, Charter Communications’s Spectrum, AT&T’s DirecTV Now and Sony’s Playstation Vue are the only TV providers which supports the Apple TV app.

Xiaomi to soon launch a 48MP camera smartphone in India

0
Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has started teasing its new smartphone that will house a 48MP primary camera. This comes right when the company is celebrating two million sales of handsets from its Redmi Note 7 series. However, Xiaomi has not revealed the brand of the new 48MP smartphone until now. But then, the Redmi India Twitter account has suggested that the upcoming handset will debut under its brand. We should mention that the upcoming smartphone would not be the first one from Xiaomi to launch with a 48MP primary camera, as the company’s Redmi Note 7 Pro already has that feature. It is also worth noticing that the news comes just days after the Chinese smartphone brand teased the launch of its smartphone in India that will come with a triple rear camera setup. Xiaomi will also be seen launching a smartphone in India that will be powered by Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 730G SoC. It can also be a possibility that all the teasers are actually pointing towards the same handset. So, Xiaomi may be planning to launch a Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 730G powered device that has a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera. The official Redmi India Twitter account has posted a teaser that suggests that it will soon be launching a smartphone with a 28MP primary camera. The tweet by the company read, “An all-new Redmi with a new 48MP Super camera is coming.” The tweet also comes with an image that confirms that the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone will no longer be the only device by Xiaomi to come with a 48MP primary sensor. Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain has also teased a 48MP camera smartphone while announcing that the Chinese smartphone company has surpassed the two million sales mark for its Note 7 series that comprises of Redmi Note 7 Pro and its younger sibling Redmi Note 7.
As we mentioned, it is also being speculated that the upcoming smartphone with a 48MP primary sensor will be the same as the one that will sport a triple rear camera setup. The company has also been teasing a smartphone that will be powered by Snapdragon 700-series processor. So a device with Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 730G SoC by Redmi is expected to be launched soon. Looking at some of the recent rumours, the new Xiaomi smartphone with a 48MP camera may be the Mi A3. What adds to this rumour is the fact that it is also expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 700-series processor.
