Similarly, the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant of the device holds a price tag of CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 36,300) and the top end variant of the Nubia Red Magic 3 with 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs 44,600). Unlike other flagship smartphones today, the Nubia Red Magic 3 doesn’t hold a notch but it has slight bezels on the top and the bottom of the display. Xiaomi is all set to launch its next flagship smartphones – Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro – on May 28, 2019. The company has also teased few details about its upcoming devices. Now, Lu Weibing, Redmi’s General Manager has revealed that the upcoming Redmi devices will come with dual-band GPS support which will enhance the positioning accuracy and the speed of location detection of the device. In addition to this, a marketing image of the Redmi K20 has surfaced in China which reveals that the smartphone will come with a pop-up selfie camera and a new gradient blue colour option was also revealed. A new leak has surfaced on the internet which details about some major specifications about the upcoming Redmi device.
Talking about the marketing poster of the Redmi K20, it was spotted in China and it shows that the device will have a pop-up selfie camera. Prior to this, the device in a gradient red colour was leaked but the poster shows a blue gradient version of the Redmi K20. However, whether the Redmi K20 Pro will get the Blue gradient version or not is currently not known. The poster also shows the triple-rear camera setup the Redmi K20 will be housing. The poster further reveals that the Redmi K20 will come with a 48MP main rear camera and a 4,000mAh battery and will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC.
Redmi’s Lu Weibing posted on Weibo about the upcoming Redmi K20-series saying that it will come with a dual-band GPS. The dual-band GPS will come with the capability of using L1 and L5 satellite signals to improve the positioning accuracy and speed. The dual-band GPS will deliver faster and will give more accurate location tracking and it will also be less prone to interferences.
Some new specifications about the Redmi K20 Pro has also been leaked. Both the devices are set to launch simultaneously in China tomorrow. The Redmi K20 Pro is the more beefed up version of the Redmi K20 and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The retail box with the details about the Redmi K20 Pro has been leaked on Weibo. According to the leaks, the Redmi K20 Pro will reportedly sport a 6.39-inch AMOLED display panel and will pack a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast-charging support. It will also pack a 48MP rear main camera and will have the triple-rear camera setup with a pop-up selfie camera.
