Acer Predator Orion 3000, Acer Nitro 50 and gaming monitors launched
Acer has announced the launch of upgraded Acer Predator Orion 3000 and Acer Nitro 50 gaming desktop PC lineups in the market. The devices have been refreshed with 11th-generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000-series desktop processors. It also equips Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs for graphics. Besides this, the company has also introduced three gaming monitors.

The Acer Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) will come with a price of $1,199 (approx Rs 86,800) in North America from July. Whereas the price for the EMEA has been set at EUR 949 (approx Rs 36,700) and will be available in October. On the other hand, Acer Nitro 50 (N50-620) will be available at a starting price of $949 (approx Rs 68,700) in July in North America ad will as in EMEA(in October) and China(in June ) at EUR 799 (approx Rs 70,400) and CNY 5,599 (approx Rs 63,600) respectively.

Acer Predator Orion 3000 (P03-630) is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU for graphics with up to 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD (1TB x2) and up to 6 TB HDD (3TB x2). It features an enhanced Ray Tracing Cores and Tensor Cores, new streaming multiprocessors and high-speed G6 memory. At its Global Press Conference 2021 Acer has introduced various product launches. The announcement includes Acer ConceptD series, Acer Predator series, Acer TravelMate series, Acer Swift X. This new lineup has been upgraded with the latest 11th-Gen Intel Core H-series processors/AMD Ryzen CPU and the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. Acer ConceptD series price and specs The Acer ConceptD notebook series includes ConceptD 5, ConceptD 5 Pro, ConceptD 7 Ezel/ Pro, ConceptD 3/ Pro, and convertible models. The price of the  ConceptD 5 (CN516-72G) starts at $1,999.99 (approx Rs. 1.37 lakh) whereas Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel (CC715-72G) will be available at a starting price of  $2,499 (approx Rs. 1.81 lakh). The former one will first be available in North America from August and in EMEA from July. On the other hand, the latter one can be purchased in North America and EMEA in October. The starting price of the Acer ConceptD 3 (CN314-72G) will start at EUR 1,299 (approx Rs. 1.14 lakh) whereas the ConceptD 3 Ezel (CC314-73G) will start at $1,599.99 (approx Rs. 1.15 lakh). Whereas its Pro version equips an Intel Xeon W-11955M processor and up to Nvidia RTX A5000 laptop GPU. It offers 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe SSDs for storage. Both the laptops feature 15.6-inch 4K touch screen displays with Pantone validation. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S7 FE 5G will come with a price tag of GBP 589 Rs. 60,600 translates to Rs 60,600 for the 4GB RAM with a 64GB internal storage option. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant will come at GBP 629 that translates to Rs. 64,700. These options will be offered in different shades of Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Mystic Green, and Mystic Pink colours. The Tab S7 FE will be up for pre-orders starting June 2. Pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile, India is now open on Android Play Store. Yes, The PUBG Mobile India replacement game is presently available for pre-registration on Google Play Store. Till now the company has already got over 1 Million pre-registrations.
Krafton Inc, based in Seongnam, is a South Korean video game holding company renowned for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), took over a year to bring the game back, but things seem to be moving quickly now that it’s been announced. Why was PUBG Mobile banned in the first place? When 59 and 118 Chinese apps, including PUBG Mobile India, were banned in June and September of 2020, the Government of India declared the decision that the apps were “prejudicial to India’s sovereignty and integrity, defense, state security, and public order.” Section 69A of the Information Technology Act of 2000 was used to impose the restriction.
Krafton teased the game: The new teaser from developer Krafton has been released, revealing additional information about the game. The new trailer shows that Battlegrounds Mobile India would have a function similar to PUBG Mobile. Features of the game:
  • The system requirements: Android 5.1.1 or above is preferable for the game, along with at least 2GB of RAM to run the game on mobile, which is quite similar to what Pubg had.
  • Maps: The map is likely to be called Erangle instead of Erangel. Sanhok and Miramar are two other maps confirmed in the teasers, in addition to Erangle. Vikendi (the snow map) has yet to appear in Battlegrounds Mobile India.
  • APK file size: On the Google Play Store, the size will be 600MB. The game will, of course, grow in size once downloaded to fit the skins and maps.
Delay in the release of the game:
  • Battlegrounds Mobile India will be released in the third week of next month, according to Abhijeet Andhare, also known as Ghatak. “The dates we’re looking at are June 13 through June 19,” he said. However, the release was supposed to be on June 10.
  • The release date has yet to be announced by Krafton, but the new Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available for both Android and iOS users.
Criticism by the Government of India: 
  • Though the release is near, a letter by Arunachal Pradesh’s MP Ninong Ering, highlighting the disapproval over the release of the Indian edition of PUBG, may bring complications. The MP wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him not to grant the game in India.
  • The Indian government is now trying to prohibit the release of games with the directions of two of its ministries in charge of such matters: the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Users will be charged $2.99 (roughly Rs 269) per month for the subscription service. According to reports, the in-app purchase for the paid version has been posted to Twitter’s App Store listing. However, it has not yet been made available to users. According to reports, the subscription service will first be available to American consumers for $2.99 a month, with a price tag of about Rs 269 in India. “Twitter verifies “Twitter Blue,” which costs $2.99 per month by openly including such In-App Purchase on the App Store,” security researcher Jane Manchun Wong initially posted on the app.  “I’ve become the first paid Twitter Blue customer for the purpose of testing. Color Themes and unique App Icons are included in the paid version. Reader Mode will be available soon.” The feature’s screenshot has been published by Manchun. In-app purchases have also been seen in India, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. In India, he has tweeted that the services will cost Rs 269 per month. Features:

  • If you click the authentication app option, you will have to download an app.
  • If you choose ‘text message‘, click on it and Instagram will ask for a 6-digit code sent on your phone number. 
  • Verify the same and you are good to go. 
In this security option, one has to ask for authentication at least once to log in to the account if the user/device is logging in for the first time. This might seem simple, but this option has a very big advantage, that is, even If somebody somehow gets to know your password, but your 2FA is on, they would not be able to log in to the account unless they get the one-time password (OTP), for which they will have to get the access of either your phone number or email address, which is not simple.  In this option, you also get a few security codes, which are just for your account that can be used If you are not able to access your phone number. The New ‘Save to Photos’ button has been introduced to Gmail that will work as sync between the free email service and photo sharing and storage service provided by Google. Before this, the users were allowed to save any attachment directly to their Google Drive but now they will also be able to save photos sent as attachments directly to Google Photos. “Now when you get a photo attachment in a Gmail message, you can save it directly to Google Photos with a new “Save to Photos” button,” the blog post said. Google adds a 'Save to Photos' button to save images directly from Gmail to Google Photos: Details Inside The new toggle is seen next to the existing “Add to Drive” button on the attachment and while previewing the image attachment. Currently, this is only available for JPEG images. With this new addition, there is no need to download photo attachments from Gmail messages to then manually back them up to Google Photos. Also, there is no admin control for this feature and it will be available ON for an eligible photo, you can choose the “Save to Photos” button which is alongside a similar option to “Add to Drive.”  The new  ‘Save to Photos’ button will be available to all Google Workspace customers and G Suite Basic and for Business customers. In addition to this, it will be available to users with personal Google Accounts. According to the company, the ‘Save to Photos‘ feature is now being rolled out gradually via Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. So those who are in the Rapid Release domain are among the first to see new features when they’re released to Google Workspace.   • After you have an account, Go to settings, you will find the option of settings at the bottom right corner, and click on it.
  • Click on My Profile and the first option you will see would be of changing or adding the profile picture. Click on it.
  • There will be two options, one, Take a photo (for clicking a new picture) and another Choose photo( If you want to use an already existing photo). Click on either of the options, whichever is suitable for you.

If you are using Zoom app on your Desktop: 
  • Open the website of Zoom Meeting and download the application. Then click on the My Account option in the top-right corner.
  • Click on the option ‘Change‘ next to your profile.
  • After clicking the option you will see another tab where you are required to upload a new profile picture.
  • Click on the option ‘Upload‘ and add the display picture of your choice.

The following steps will tell you how to not show the video but only the profile picture. 
  • When you join a Zoom Cloud Meeting, you must turn off your video by clicking ‘Turn off my video‘. 
  • You can also stop the video by right-clicking on it and selecting Stop Video.
While in a Zoom Meeting Conference call, this will successfully disable the video and show your Profile Picture. If you’re in the middle of a Zoom Cloud Meeting and want to show your profile picture rather than the live footage. Follow the instructions below.
  • Right-click on your preview screen and select ‘Add or Edit Profile Picture‘ from the drop-down menu. 
  • For a brief moment, the video would pause, and your profile picture would take the place of the live video preview.
If you don’t want your video to be shown always, follow the steps below.
  • Go to settings > Meeting settings
  • Find the option ‘Always turn off my video‘ and turn the option on.

Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in its home market. Unlike the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the specification of the 5G smartphone varies. It has a  67W fast charging support instead of 33W fast charging support. Also, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC instead of Snapdragon 732G SoC which comes on the 4G variant. Moreover, the camera module also differs from the Indian variant. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G specifications Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 2,400×1,080 pixels of resolution. The display has support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. Moreover, the screen comes with 450nits brightness, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. There is a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC under its hood paired with up to 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage option. There is a slight change in the design of the camera module of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The triple camera sensors here are placed differently than the quad cameras on the Redmi Note 10 Pro variant launched in India. The triple rear camera includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, an  8-megapixel sensor with  f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and others. Today, we’re announcing that everyone on Instagram and Facebook will now have the option to hide their public like counts, so they can decide what works for them.” By bringing this feature the company has taken a very positive step towards people’s experience on their platform that is getting fewer likes on their posts. Getting fewer likes also brings down the user’s self-esteem who do not have a huge fan following or friends on their profiles. Because of this they start feeling anxious and either stop posting or do away from using the social media platform. In addition to this, the users will also have the option to hide like counts on their own posts, so others can’t see how many likes your posts get.  To hide like counts on other’s posts you just need to visit the new Posts section in Settings. This control applies to all the posts in your feed. Also, the users will also get the option to choose to hide like counts before sharing a post. You can turn this setting on or off, even after it goes live.  Initially, this feature is being rolled out on the photo-sharing app Instagram and in the next few weeks, you will see both of these controls come to Facebook as well. The devices are said to be well compatible with the Sony camera and are useful for vlogging, video content creation,  street performance, product reviews, food reviews, travel vlogs and more. The Sony ECM-W2BT wireless microphone is powered by Qualcomm aptX Low Latency codec to offer high-quality audio recording and low latency. The ECM-W2BT wireless microphone offers low-noise digital sound recording by mounting the receiver to a camera equipped with a digital audio interface compatible Multi Interface Shoe. it records the digital audio signal output from the receiver directly on the camera body without needing an external audio cable.
