We had indicated earlier that COMIO will launch a smartphone in the last week of July. Today, they have gone ahead launched the COMIO X1 smartphone in India. This one is at the lower end of the budget smartphone spectrum, yet provides decent specifications. It comes weeks after the launch of COMIO X1 Note. The front camera is powered by an 8MP selfie shooter (f/2.2 aperture) with AI integrations. The camera also features modes such as Bokeh, face cut, beauty and smile gesture. The rear camera can record videos in full HD 1080p at 30 FPS, while the front camera is able to record video at 720p resolution at 24 FPS. COMIO X1 also features a bike mode where the smartphone turns off all the notifications on the device when the user is riding a bike. It also automatically responds to the callers telling them that the user is currently riding a motor bike and will call them later. Inside, this smartphone features a MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core SoC 1.28 Ghz. This is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB on board storage. The internal memory is expandable by up to 128GB using a microSD card. Graphics are powered by the A53 GPU. Android 8.0 Oreo comes in the COMIO X1 and features such as split screen mode and pop touch are also included. The smartphone carries three slots, two to accommodate nano SIMs and one for microSD card. Security features such as Intruder selfie and fingerprint sensor have also been thrown in the mix. The COMIO X1 supports 22 languages like the COMIO X1 Note. Oppo has just stirred the otherwise mundane smartphone market with its latest launch. Oppo Find X is the newest to feature something fresh and it does that wonderfully. The smartphone was unveiled to the world on 19^th June and now it is available in India. Launched at an event in New Delhi, India the smartphone is going to be available in two colours – Blue and Purple. The company has also announced that the Lamborghini edition of the smartphone will also be available soon. The budget smartphone segment in India is always on fire, not literally, but massive sales mean a hot market. Another phone that enters the budget segment of smart mobiles in India is by Lenovo-owned Moto E5 Plus with its super large 5,000 mAh battery. This smartphone with its younger sibling the Moto E5 were launched at an event in New Delhi and seem to be decent offerings. With this launch Motorola has strengthened its less expensive smartphone portfolio giving users more choice. Before this, Motorola in June had launched Motorola G6 and G6 Play in India, starting at Rs 11,999. The smartphones were first showcased in Brazil in April and soon made their way into India. The screen to body ration is 77% and comes with a strengthened glass on top. Under the hood, this smartphone runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 quad-core CPU with 1.4 GHz clock speed. This is backed by 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. Talking about which, the on-board memory is expandable by up to 256 GB with the help of a microSD card. The Phone will be available in two colours— Flash Grey and Fine Gold. The back sports a fingerprint sensor along with a single camera setup with LED flash. The rear camera is powered by 12MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and laser auto focus. The secondary front camera has a 5MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, too. Features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama are available. The rear camera can also shoot full HD 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The Moto E5 Plus runs android 8.0 Oreo not 8.1 out of the box. The new update should sail in soon, but no specific timeline has been given. Weighing 197 grams this smartphone is 9.4 mm thick and sports a 3.5mm audio jack as well. As for the graphics, these are powered by Adreno 308 GPU. Other features include, dual SIM support (nano), Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM, micro USB charging and 4G LTE is also supported. As said before the Moto E5 Plus sports a 5,000 mAh battery, which should last for two days (at least) after a full charge.
