Google Pixel Foldable smartphone to have Oppo Find N-like looking design: Here is how

Google Pixel Fold is in the pipeline and has been in the news for quite a long time now. In a new development, the foldable phone has been spotted on Android 12L Beta suggesting the design resembling Oppo Find N. Earlier the Google Pixel Foldable smartphone was spotted listed on Geekbench codenamed ‘Pipit’.

According to a report, a new animation has been found after the second beta copy of Android 12L was released on Wednesday, indicating that the company’s foldable smartphone may resemble the recently announced Oppo Find N.

Two new animations discovered after the release of Android 12L Beta 2 showcased how to install a SIM card into a foldable phone in Android 12L Beta 2. They resemble the animations used nowadays while setting up a Pixel, during the stage where the phone requests a SIM card or eSIM. More notably, the “Pipit” codename of the Pixel Fold is mentioned in the animation’s code. At the bottom is a SIM tray, and on the right side is a volume rocker.

As per the report, the first animation illustrates a folded gadget with a strong design and an evident volume rocker on the right-hand side. A hinge is visible on the left and the SIM card slot is positioned on the bottom. The animation is believed to illustrate the smaller, outer display of the Pixel Fold.

While the second animation depicts the same gadget in a more expansive, unfurled configuration. There’s a slight indentation where the hinge is positioned on both the top and bottom. The SIM card tray is on the same half of the phone as the external display in this fresh perspective of the identical SIM installation process which is somewhat similar to Oppo Find N. The shown device’s interior display is said to have a 7:8 ratio based on some meticulous measurements. The Pixel Fold was supposed to have a 7.6-inch inner display, in comparison to the Oppo Find N, which has a 7.1-inch inner display.

As mentioned earlier, the Google Pixel Fold/foldable smartphone was spotted listed on Geekbench codenamed Pipit some time ago. As per the listing the device will include an octa-core processor with two performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz, two cores clocked at 2.25GHz, and four efficiency cores rated at 1.8GHz. The benchmarking listing also stated that the foldable phone will offer 12GB of RAM and the processor is believed to be a Google Tensor SoC.

Furthermore, the listing mentions the presence of Mali G78 GPU and the device managed to achieve a single-core score of 4,811 points and a multi-core score of 11,349 points.

Previously, the Google Pixel Foldable smartphone was tipped to get a 12.2MP IMX363 camera sensor that was provided on the previous generations of Pixel devices like Pixel 3 and Pixel 5. It may also include a 12MP IMC386 ultra-wide-angle sensor along with two 8MP IMX355 sensors for taking selfies and video calling.

Because the gadget is still under development, we recommend using the given information with caution until the manufacturer verifies it.

Take These Tech Security Resolutions for 2022

A new year means a new beginning. It is like turning a new chapter that gives you hope and motivation to change something. Instead of traditional resolutions, how about focusing on your security online and taking it to new heights?

With the change in the year, enthusiasm, and excitement in everyone’s heart have automatically boomed. To start the year on a fresh and clean note, we all need to focus on some optimistic goals and targets we can achieve during this year.

Therefore, don’t forget to add security and privacy to the list of your goals; rather, it should be on the top of that list. In 2022, the world will witness a drift in technological advancement. The concepts like NFTs, cryptocurrency, 5G, etc., are going to rise exponentially, and with it, more new malware and online internet threats will be born.

Therefore, your security and privacy must be crucial for you in 2022, and this article can help you with that.

Build a zero-trust policy

This year, your first focus must be on building a zero-trust policy, which means not trusting anything that allures you to act, whether it is a website, media publication, or anything else.

Most cyberattacks happen because we trust something that is not worthy of our trust. A simple example would be clicking on a link sent by someone on social media. It could lead to a malicious website and infect your computer with malware.

Therefore, this year make sure that you never click on any link unless necessary. Always cross-verify everything before acting and downloading/uploading files from an unknown domain. Otherwise, hackers can easily use your system as a medium for distributing malware to the neighbour computers through P2P sharing servers, etc.

Use multi-factor authentication

2022 is the right time to start using multi-factor authentication on all your online accounts to enhance your security further. Multi-factor authentication works by using two different factors for gaining access to an account.

One of the most common and widely used factors would be a password, and another one could be biometric like fingerprints or face recognition.

Hackers frequently use social engineering techniques to gain access to top-ranked business firms, and this technique needs only a single factor to hack into an account. It means they would not bother about passwords or anything else if they know what you look like or your fingerprints.

Therefore, it’s high time you start using MFA in 2022 on all your online accounts regardless of their nature.

Use a password manager

Finally, you should start using a password manager, which can help you manage all your passwords in one centralized location/platform without remembering any of them.

This way, you don’t have to worry about forgetting your login details for Gmail or Facebook because you can always access them by installing the password manager’s extension on your browser.

Pick a password manager, which follows the OWASP regulations to offer maximum protection against being hacked.

Communication methods

In the past year, the world saw a new way of working, i.e., work from home, which will be normalized further in 2022. So, it’s high time to choose secure communication methods to avoid any security breach.

Hackers can intercept your emails and other messages if not encrypted because those are the primary communication mediums used by hackers to distribute malware. Therefore, you must secure our means of communication with robust email encryption to prevent data interception.

If you ever want to send sensitive data over the internet for any reason whatsoever, then make sure you encrypt it before sending it. If you don’t do so, they will risk getting intercepted by a widespread man-in-the-middle attack.

Finally… encrypt everything

Encryption is one of the best security practices used by all countries to protect their classified information from getting leaked. Still, somehow this technique has been underutilized by individuals.

If you have sensitive information on your hard disk, encrypting it would be the best way to secure them from being stolen or hacked into. A simple example of this would be credit card numbers, bank details, and other kinds of personal information. If kept unencrypted in your HDD, it can easily get hacked/stolen without anyone even knowing.

Therefore, make sure you start using encryption in 2022 and keep all your private/sensitive data away from prying eyes. It is nobody’s business what kind of data you keep inside your system unless it is shared with someone else freely via encrypted channels.

Additionally, you can encrypt your internet traffic for extra security with a VPN. A Virtual Private Network deals the necessary blow to the interception of your online communications. Entities lurking online will not be able to read the data exchanges even if they manage to capture them. Thus, everything you do online is hidden, even from your Internet Service Provider. If you have not used this tool, trying a VPN should be your resolution for 2022.

Conclusion

So, these are some essential cyber-security tips for 2022 which will help you. Make sure you use strong passwords and start using multi-factor authentication to enhance your online security further and protect yourself from hackers.

It’s high time we take these resolutions seriously because, after all, it is about our safety and privacy, which keeps getting compromised at an alarming rate by hackers every day.

New BR: Extreme mode, new weapons and more features added to PUBG: New State: Details Inside

Today Krafton rolled out the first significant update for PUBG: NEW STATE. With this version, the new BR: Extreme Mode is available, which restricts the number of participants in a match to 64 (as opposed to 100 in BR: Original mode) and limits each round to 20 minutes. The update is now live on Android and iOS.

BR: Extreme Mode is a battle royale mode that is currently accessible on the game’s Troi map. It is meant to get players into the action (and win Chicken Dinners) as early as possible for heightened intensity in each encounter. The Rimac Nevera automobile, created in collaboration with Bugatti Rimac, the new P90 weapon, additional gun customization choices, and more are all included in the January Update. The entire list of important features introduced to the game with the January Update can be seen below.

BR: Extreme Mode on PUBG: NEW STATE

BR: Extreme: Each 20-minute round is restricted to 64 participants in a fresh experience built just for mobile play. This option limits the battleground to a smaller (4×4) playable region inside the Troi map, which is picked at random and changes every match. All Survivors are given a P1911 pistol, a smoke grenade, 300 Drone Credits, and fully charged boost metres to begin with. Two Care Packages will be dropped at random locations as the battle begins, allowing players to stock up on higher-end items sooner in the game.

The extra elements available in this new battle royale experience are also included such as the increased number of vehicles and goods available across Troi, allowing players to harvest faster. While the survivors can jump from a reduced height in order to land as fast as possible on the map. Also, players will be able to get their hands on products faster thanks to delivery drones. The time it takes to redeploy a teammate has been reduced to 60 seconds.

The January Update also marks the beginning of PUBG: NEW STATE‘s cooperation with Bugatti Rimac, as players may now test drive the Rimac Nevera, over the Troi region. Rimac Nevera in five colour variations, including Nevera Blue, Gunpowder Grey, Prism Glow, Sunburst Red, and Luminous Gold, has been included in a time-limited Rimac Crate, which contains several special in-game goodies.

The PUBG: New State January update also brings a new season and survivor pass. Season 1 begins following a two-month pre-season and provides eight new tiers for players to go through, ranging from Bronze to Conqueror. Players will win goodies such as Chicken Medals and weapon skins as they pass through each stage. Survivor Pass Vol. 3 is also now available, and it centres on Ben Brown, an in-game character who is a member of the Great Lakes Coalition (GLC) group. While exploring the narrative of PUBG: NEW STATE, players will be able to accomplish missions for various prizes and goods.

BR: Extreme Mode on PUBG: NEW STATE

New weapon P90: This SMG will appear in Battlegrounds Care Packages with a basic tier-2 transformative scope and silencer connected, but no additional attachments may be added. It fires 5.7mm ammunition, which you can get from the Drone Store today. Players may now connect a Flash Hider (AR/DMR) or a Compensator (AR/DMR) to the DP-28 weapon thanks to the new DP-28 Muzzle Slot. However, when any of these attachments is used, gun damage is lowered somewhat. The Lightweight Stock may now be attached to the Beryl M762 in order to minimise bullet spread while firing from the hip or shoulder while simultaneously enhancing ADS speed. When employing this attachment, your weapon’s steadiness will suffer.

What is the 365 Photography Project and Should You Try It Out?

2022 is now upon us, and as we usher in this new year, no doubt you’ve been setting yourself impossibly high goals with regards to any resolutions you may have made. Of all the targets you could set yourself, perhaps joining the 365 photography project might be something a little more enjoyable to saddle yourself with this year.

Usually, the resolutions we make tend to revolve around cutting away some vices that are not doing us any favours. Maybe you are going to give up alcohol for the month of January; good luck with that, or perhaps you want to exercise more or just generally be more active. Perhaps your goal is just to be a nicer human being or to treat yourself more kindly. These are all lofty goals and are likely to fall away long before spring comes along.

So how about something new this year?

What is the 365 Photography Project?

Are you a keen photographer? Do you enjoy taking photos and want to do something a bit different this year? The 365 Photography Project, unsurprisingly, involves you taking a single picture a day in order to end the year with a stunning collection of photographic gems.

The idea is you take a photo every day, starting on January 1st, and you can look to cover some sort of theme. You might be deliberately taking an abstract photo every day, something that stands alone, or you might try to cover specific themes, perhaps family or a personal self-portrait.

You might post each picture singularly on a service or network like Instagram, or you might wait until the end of the year and release it in a video format; with each frame being a photo, there are many ways to tackle the challenge.

There are No Rules

Importantly this isn’t a challenge that requires you to follow some set of rules or guidelines, it’s something to enjoy, and that has no boundaries except any you choose to set yourself. You can take the photos with your phone or with a professional camera; it’s entirely up to you.

Some may also elect to miss a day or two, or sometimes you might get wrapped up in your daily life, and you forget, no problem, just try to do it as often as possible and take multiple photos on certain days to make up for any possible slippage. You might also fill in a missed day or two with a good choice of stock photos if that helps you keep your chosen theme working smoothly.

Possible Themes

If you are going to shoot for a specific theme, there are endless possibilities. Maybe you want to chart the climate, looking for images that represent the time of year; perhaps you are only going to photograph people.

Your theme may be the choice of using photos without any additional help, using only natural light and no filters. You might even choose to develop the photos yourself instead of using digital camera technology.

Maybe you are a foodie, and you have set yourself the daunting but tasty task of documenting your dinner every day, which would lead you to have to come up with a large number of recipes or eating out regularly to make up for days when you can’t be bothered to cook.

You will need a certain amount of dedication to pull off the 365 Photography Project, but not so much as to make the act less enjoyable and fun.

You might choose to open a specific account or blog to document your project so that you can show your friends or the entire world, or it might just be an intimate account for your own benefit. Whatever works for you.

Planning

If you want to go all-in, guns blazing, on this project, then you can make things easier by planning ahead of time. You might have to spend a few minutes a day or week lining up the subject matter for your photo a day, but if this is something you wish to do, then you’ll find the relatively short amount of time you need in order to do so.

You can come up with individual ideas, maybe per week, a new theme, or a larger project that covers the entire period. Work out what you might shoot and how you’d go about setting up the process of getting the photo you want.

If you plan effectively, then you might even be able to afford to miss a day here or there, as you’ll have the back-ups from earlier days to fill in the gaps. Our advice in terms of planning is to keep it simple; otherwise, the project will lose your interest, and then you’ll give it up within a matter of weeks.

You might even want to group up with others on similar projects. This is a good way to keep the whole process fresh, and you might also be able to brainstorm ideas among yourselves to make it all the more beneficial.

You can also go online to see other’s 365 Photography Project ideas to help inspire you and give you a sense of what it is possible to achieve.

Manage Expectations

The key here is never to make it something that is hard to strive for. The purpose of the project is to be fun, and it should never become a chore, and that’s where you need to bring in the element of expectations. Ask yourself why you are partaking in the project and what you hope to achieve; that way, you don’t give in after a few weeks, disappointed that you didn’t get involved for the right reasons.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top

Price

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Rs 49,999

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Rs 38,990

Our Take

When comparing all of the specifications side by side, it was discovered that there isn’t much of a difference. The camera’s battery, the display is nearly identical to that of its predecessor.

This design language is carried over to the Galaxy S21 FE, which appears very identical to the S21.

The manufacturer chose a little smaller but higher refresh rate AMOLED panel this time, and the difference is nearly insignificant. However, there is still a difference since the firm has modified the camera module, which is essentially identical to the vanilla S21 but has been lifted slightly this time.

Even the display is more durable, thanks to the Gorilla Glass Victus panel, which replaces the previous generation’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The big differences are in the software; the new phone comes preloaded with Android 12 while the older model comes with Android 10. There is also a significant alteration in the CPU, which is of a better level this time. So, if you’re happy with the specs on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and your budget is low, we recommend the S20 FE. Otherwise, the option is yours, since we don’t expect any substantial changes on the recently released Galaxy S21 FE.

Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge and Vivo V23 both run on the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset whereas the Nord 2 equips a more powerful Dimensity 1200 SoC. Apart from this both Xiaomi and Vivo smartphones come with a 120Hz AMOLED display while the OnePlus device offers a 90Hz AMOLED display. In terms of rear cameras, Xiaomi defeats both of its competitors.

On the other hand, Vivo takes the lead by offering a dual selfie camera set up. But again Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge outshines the other two as it supports 120W fast charging which is claimed to charge the device in just 15 minutes. This would benefit those who are constantly on the go. In terms of appearance, usage, and specs, all three phones are virtually identical. So, until we get the opportunity to test both Vivo and Xiaomi devices we would suggest you to go for HyperCharge.
