Twitter has been completely free to use social media platform for most of its existence. Recently, the company has started to add some monetization options over time to support the community and the company. And yet again Twitter has added a paid functionality for users called Super Follow. By super following, a user gets all the updates of that person on their feed. With super follow one can get exclusive content by the updater with a nominal fee which he/she will decide. It’s more like a Join button on YouTube. Here is how you can use this feature.

How to supper follow

The feature is pretty easy to use. Just head to the desired Twitter account and you can see a super follow button right next to the follow button, if the user has allowed the subscription service. When you tap it, you’ll see an overview of what you get as a subscriber, along with the price. Make sure to check the prices properly, since creators can set a price of $3, $5, or $10 per month. If the offering sounds good to you just hit the subscribe button. The payment can easily be made with the in-app payment methods. After completing the payment, you will now be able to see Super follower’s exclusive posts and tweets. The recent exclusive updates will be available to you on your timeline. Creators can choose, which tweets only their Super Followers see. And when subscribers respond to one of their tweets, a Super Follower badge will appear next to their name. Twitter plans to bring additional features for Super Followers, such as Spaces limited to Super Followers, and newsletters. Availability of this update

At the launch, Super Followers was only limited to two countries, the USA and Canada. Further, this new functionality is only limited to iOS for now which means to super follow anyone you must own an iPhone for now. Twitter is planning to roll out this feature to iPhone users around the world, expanding it to Android and web access coming later. For others interested in using this feature have to sit tight for now. Twitter is beta testing this feature with a small number of people in the USA who applied for it. To join the waitlist, slide out the left menu on the Twitter app and go to Settings and privacy > Monetization > Super Follows. There, tap Check eligibility. The popular German brand, Blaupunkt, has announced a price cut for its 32-inch and 42-inch Smart Android TVs in India. The Televisions with new pricing will be accessible via the Flipkart Grand Home Appliance sale. Both the Smart TVs were launched a few months back and come under its Cybersound series.  The company has slashed the price of two of its Cybersound series popular budget TVs. The series includes 4 models out of which two of its models have received a price cut. The 32-inch HD Ready Cybersound Android TV before the price revision was retailing at Rs 19,499 but now can be purchased for Rs 14,999. Whereas the 42-inch FHD Android TV now comes at Rs 21,999 which is down by Rs 29,999. According to Blaupunkt, this offer is exclusively available to those if the purchase is made through Flipkart’s Grand Home Appliance Sale. The sale has kicked off today on the e-commerce platform and will run till September 11 in the country.  Along with the reduced price, the buyers will also get a 10% instant discount on ICICI Bank cards and EMI Transactions on all Blaupunkt Android Smart TVs.

The 32-inch HD Ready Cybersound Android TV by Blaupunkt comes with slim bezels. The display offers 1,366×768 pixels of resolution. MacBook 16-inch 2021 will arrive anytime soon with the most significant upgrades to the MacBook series in years. The most significant change that we can notice in the 2021 MacBook is the removal of the touch bar. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the ever-changing touchscreen bar will be replaced with a set of physical keys, similar to those seen on other laptops and pre-2016 MacBooks. We expect the upcoming tablets to get access to the touch bar when Apple releases its iPad with AMOLED panels. Kuo also announced that the new 16-inch MacBook pro-2021 will have a wide range of connectors, which will eliminate the need for dongles. According to the complaints posted the device is booting in a recovery mode by Qualcomm naming ”Emergency Download mode” (ELD) instead of normal Android boot screen making their device basically useless. Some of the Pixel 3 owners also reported that there is a total shutdown that occurred in their phone after the security update, while some woke up in the morning to find out their devices are bricked after shutdown. The software giant has announced the availability of the feature but it will be accessible in Drive on the web platform. While announcing the feature Google said, “Google Drive stores your most important files, whether they are Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, images or the hundreds of other file types we support today. Today, we are announcing more ways to make sure you can make them all accessible to you even when your internet connection is unavailable.”  Easily find files offline Users usually store their important files on Google Drive. Before this, the users were only able to use the Docs, Sheets, and Slides in offline mode. With the availability of offline mode in Drive on the web, the files will be accessible to the users even when the users don’t have an internet connection and travel to remote areas where there is no access to the internet.  Google began testing the feature in 2019 that enabled you to mark non-Google file types, like PDFs, images and Microsoft Office files, available offline when using Google Drive on the web. Now that the functionality is generally available then you can mark these files available offline, you can easily open these files from your browser even when you aren’t connected to the internet, the company noted.  In addition to this, the ChromeOS users will now be able to use the Files app on their Chromebook to select Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files to be available when offline. The device seems to be a value for money device compared to its elder sibling Oppo Reno 6 Pro. Yes, this phone comes with photography-focused features along with a 65W charger, USB Type-C wired earphones and a Type-C cable, which is quite rare to get nowadays.  The handset has been smartly designed. Oppo Reno 6 5G Review: Design and Display

To begin with, let’s talk about the unique design of Oppo Reno 6 5G. Yes, we call it unique because of its slim form factor. The phone comes with a metal frame that looks premium. The in-hand feel is also good; the handset is not too big nor too small but just perfect for single-hand usage. Interestingly, the device is very light and weighs just 180g even when it has a lot of metal on it. It has flat edges and the case fits very well (which is of top quality).  Oppo Reno 6 Review: Design and Display The rear panel comes with a shimmery effect. We got our hands on the Stellar Black. The triple rear camera module is also not protruding so the phone does not wobble when laid flat on a surface. Upfront it comes with an AMOLED display which plays house to a selfie camera hidden inside a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen. There is Gorilla Glass Protection on the front and AG glass on the back. So it is a combination of both metal and glass design. Oppo Reno 6 Review: Design and Display Talking about the ports, below there is a speaker grill, a Type C port, a microphone and a SIM card slot. On the left, there are two antenna bands on each corner of the metal frame and a volume button. Above there is a noise-cancelling microphone along with 2 antennas and on the right-hand side there is a power button with a green tinge and yes here also you will see the antenna bands.  Oppo Reno 6 Review: Design and Display Ok now that’s done, let’s talk about the display of the device. Let’s find out if it is as impressive as its design. It features a beautiful 6.43-inch full-HD+ hole-punch AMOLED display offering 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. You will get a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate support with 800 nits of peak brightness on this display. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It should be noted that the Pro version comes with a curved display, while this one has a completely flat one. In addition to this, the screen has an HDR 10+ support along with a 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. This is why it has thin bezels on the sides with a not so noticeable chin.   The outdoor visibility is good even in direct sunlight. The 90Hz refresh rate is well optimised and yes there is no lag. The touch display is very responsive and the colours along with details are impressive too. All in all, it gives you an immersive experience. The always-on display is the cherry on the cake. Although AMOLED panels are energy-efficient, you have the option to turn on the Dark Mode, which provides more endurance. The viewing angles are good and the Widevine L1 support makes it perfect for HD streaming.

Oppo Reno 6 5G Review: Performance and Camera

On the specs sheet, the device comes with impressive specifications. So let’s find out how well the phone performs in reality. The Reno 6 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, which is based on 6nm architecture. The chipset comes with 5G connectivity and is capable of handling high-end gaming and heating issues with ease. Also, the Mali G68 GPU has been incorporated for impressive graphics performance.  While gaming we didn’t come across any drop in performance. All the games like BGMI, COD, Asphalt 9 are playable at medium settings. Surprisingly, there was no heating issue at all during intensive gaming sessions. Apart from a good gaming experience, this handset comes with the ability of RAM expansion. Yes, you get the option to expand the RAM between 2GB to 5GB virtually. This feature is good when it comes to multitasking. Not only this Oppo Reno 6 comes with 13 5G bands, which makes it a future-ready device. Even when it comes to day to day usage the phone is absolutely a great performer.  Oppo Reno 6 Review: Performance and Camera You can take screenshots with just a three-finger swipe. What’s cooler on this phone is that if you want to take a screenshot of a particular section then in that case just hold the three fingers on the part and simply swipe it down/up slowly the way you select text and it’s done. Over that, if you want that certain part to be translated simply tap on the translate option, which will appear on the screen after the screenshot. You get a lot of options to edit the screenshot which is appreciated. Also, you get options to customise dark mode as per your liking. You can choose from enhanced, medium and Gentle. Consumers can also choose to select the style of the fingerprint and the overall colours of the UI. All these features give you a more refined flagship-like experience. Though the phone does have some bloatware you can easily uninstall them.  On the imaging front, Oppo Reno 6 5G is highlighted with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2-megapixel macro camera. Upfront there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Oppo Reno 6 Review: Performance and Camera The daylight images have good details and are well optimised. The colours are punchy and sharp. In portrait mode, the depth created between the subject and the background does not look unnatural. Talking about the low light shots, the night mode works well even in ultra-wide settings. Also, we noticed a minor change in the colour temperature when we switched from standard to ultrawide mode. 
Macro Shots
The colours become more saturated and eye-pleasing when AI mode is turned on. In terms of selfies, even during harsh sunlight, you will not see any burnouts or blown-out highlights. That’s how the front camera also controls the dynamic range so perfectly. The edge detection in portrait mode is perfect too. The macro mode is what we loved the most. We got some incredible shots from the macro lens. The images are so detailed, sharp and natural you would not believe it has been shot from a mid-range smartphone camera. 
Night time images
The cameras on the phone are quite good at controlling dynamic range even when there is direct sunlight when shooting videos at 1080p in ultra-wide mode. In terms of exposure as well, the lenses adapt very smoothly. When recording a 1080p video in standard camera mode, the quality is better than the ultra-wide considering the sensor.  Oppo Reno 6 5G also offers you to shoot moving pictures in dual view video mode. This feature makes the device perfect for vlogging. There is no option to shoot 4K videos at 60fps, this is something we were missing. The video stabilisation in 4K@30fps is not that great, however, the 1080p option will offer you a well-stabilised video recording.  The company has given an ultra steady option on the front camera for stabilised video recording, too. There is a dedicated option for the bokeh effect, which comes on both rear as well as on the front camera with the 720p resolution. The Bokeh flare on the Oppo Reno is the most interesting and unique feature of the phone. We only get to see this feature in cinema cameras, where the lighting behind the subjects gets blurred out and looks flared giving a scintillating effect.  Considering the price, the camera performance is better than its competitors in the segment. The Reno 6 5G is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that can last for a whole day on not-so-heavy usage. Otherwise, battery drain is not an issue anymore as the device is shipped with a 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charger, which takes about 30 minutes to charge the phone from zero to 100 percent.

Verdict

So here we come to the conclusion of the Oppo Reno 6 5G review. From its design, build to cameras, and battery life this phone is total value for money. Performance-wise there was no lag while multitasking or switching between apps. The games can be played at medium graphics, which doesn’t throttle the performance of the phone. As for the cameras, the still photography was good but it could have been better in the video department. We personally loved this handset for its boxy design and beautiful cameras. You can buy it, it would be a worthy purchase.

It has been often that a particular application is no longer needed by you or your system but is still installed and eating away essential resources in the background. The cleaner application was once the most popular and trusted application for your Windows machine. The application was particularly popular to clear up junk and keep your computer clutter-free. The reputation of the application went downhill when avast accrued it. The application started to force updates in the background without consumers consent. The company has introduced Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro that is powered by 11-Gen Intel core processors and AMD Ryzen processor. The laptop comes with 2.2k IPS and is available in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes having narrow bezels on all sides. The device also features Dolby Atmos audio technology and dual microphones. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro price and availability details Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 77,990. It will be available in Intel Core i5, Core i7 and AMD Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 options. The laptop will be offered in a single Strom Grey colour option. Interested buyers can purchase the computing device via the company’s official website in the country as well as via e-commerce portals, and offline stores. Soon WhatsApp will be introducing message reaction features on its platform. The upcoming features will be similar to what we have seen on Instagram and Messenger. As of now the functionality is under development and has been spotted by the WhatApp updates tracker. The users will be able to apply their favourite emojis as message reactions the way they do on Twitter and iMessage. As per the latest screenshot shared by WABetaInfo possibly, WhatsApp will release the Message Reactions feature in a future update. As shown in the shared screenshot a message contains 7 reactions that are possible to react to using any emoji you want. As per the report, the reaction isn’t anonymous, so everyone in the conversation will be able to see who reacted to a specific message. To those who are unaware Message reaction is a way to express emotions via emojis and other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, iMessage already support this feature.

The screenshot was taken from a version of WhatsApp for iOS but reportedly the WhatsApp Message Reaction functionality on WhatsApp beta for Android is under the pipeline. “Seen that the feature is under development, things may change before the release, but this is the current situation: any emoji can be used and everyone can see who reacted,” the report stated. Previously the chatting application owned by Facebook was spotted testing WhatsApp: reactions. The instant messaging app at first is likely to present a message when the user is using an outdated version of WhatsApp that does not support receiving reactions. Suppose the user is using an outdated version of the app, in that case then they will not be able to see the reaction but WhatsApp will present a different message, asking to update WhatsApp to see the reaction. Besides WhatsApp for Android and iOS, this feature is also expected to be expanded to the Web/Desktop version as well. Samsung acquired audio accessories manufacturer, JBL has expanded its gaming lineup with the launch of Quantum 350 Wireless gaming headphones. This audio device works for both PC and gaming consoles. Along with wireless gaming headset, the company has also launched a slew of other products like Reflect Flow Pro, Tune 230NC, and Tune 130NC TWS earphones. JBL Quantum 350 Wireless gaming headphones price and specifications JBL’s Quantum 350 gaming headphones come with wireless JBL QuantumSOUND Signature to PC gamers and it works with consoles. It features lossless 2.4G wireless through a USB dongle. Furthermore, the device equips 40mm drivers powered by JBL QuantumSOUND Signature and immersive JBL QuantumSURROUND. Quantum 350 Wireless The wireless headset also includes a detachable boom microphone. It has in incorporated with a 22-hour rechargeable battery with speed charge – 5 minutes charge via USB-C gives 1-hour playback. The JBL gaming headphones are DISCORD-certified and work with Skype and TeamSpeak too. In terms of pricing, JBL Quantum 350 wireless has been launched in the European market at EUR 119 that translates to Rs 10,300 and at $99.95 in the US which converts to Rs 7,200. These come with a Powerfin design and includes a total of six microphones out of which two are beamforming for clear audio and wind suppression. In addition to this, it also offers Adaptive Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient tech to offers intelligent noise cancellation. It comes with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and other features like Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, Google Fast Pair tech, and has Qi-compatible wireless charging support for connectivity. The earbuds offer up to 8 hours of playback with noise-cancelling enabled and up 10 hours when turned off. The chagrin case is capable of providing 20 hours of extra playback.  The JBL Reflect Flow Pro will be available in three colour options of Black, Blue, Pink, and White. The device will be available from September at EUR 179 that translates to Rs 15,500. These earbuds come with JBL Pure Bass sound and TwistLock and Enhancer Technologies. The TWS earphones are IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. It includes ambient ware mode and provides 10 hours on a single charge with two extra charges in the case. The Endurance Race TWS earphones are priced at $79.95 that translates to Rs 5,800.

The JBL Tune 130NC and Tune 230NC share a lot of similarities. They both offer Active noise cancelling, IPX4 certified for water and dust resistance and four mic technology (each bud consisting of two mics). Both the earphones come with voice assistance support from Google and Alexa. The only difference is that Tune 130NC includes 10mm drivers with JBL Pure Bass sound on the other hand Tune 230NC equips 5.8mm, drivers, with JBL Pure Bass sound.

The company has silently introduced the Fan Edition of the Tablet, however, the device was listed on Amazon ahead of the launch. The Samsung Tab is now up for sale in the country. It is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC and runs on Android 11.

The tab is now available for purchase via Samsung’s official online store in the country and Amazon.in. The launch offer includes an instant cashback of Rs 4,000 to HDFC cardholders and on no-cost EMI options. The company will be offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 14,200 and there will be up to Rs 10,000 discount if purchased with a keyboard cover. The Fand Edition Tablet runs on Androi6 11 out of the box. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. In terms of imaging, the Galaxy Tab comes with an 8-megapixel camera sensor on its rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.  The device includes AKG tuned dual stereo speakers that are supported by Dolby Atmos. Qualcomm introduced Bluetooth aptX Lossless Audio feature to its Snapdragon Sound Technology
After Apple’s introduction of lossless audio to provide high-quality audio streaming to its subscriber the American chipset maker, Qualcomm Technologies Inc., has introduced aptX Lossless as its new sound support. This is the company’s latest feature of Snapdragon Sound Technology which is intended to offer lossless audio streaming for Bluetooth enabled devices like wireless headphones and TWS earbuds. Qualcomm has announced the introduction of aptX Lossless Bluetooth codec as a part of the Snapdragon Sound platform that will be offering  Bluetooth CD-quality audio 16-bit 44.1kHz over Bluetooth wireless technology. The company has optimised a number of core wireless connectivity and audio technologies, including aptX Adaptive, which work together to auto-detect and scale up and are designed to deliver CD lossless audio when a user is listening to a lossless music file and the RF conditions are suitable. As per Qualcomm, aptX Lossless will not only offer CD lossless audio quality reliably over Bluetooth wireless technology but aptX Adaptive works in conjunction with Qualcomm Bluetooth High-Speed Link technology to help deliver the required sustainable data throughput.  Qualcomm introduced Bluetooth aptX Lossless Audio feature to its Snapdragon Sound Technology Moreover, it has been designed to offer rates beyond 1Mbit/s yet smoothly scale down to 140kbits/s in congested RF environments to minimize any audio dropouts or glitches for a consistent and reliable listening experience. aptX Lossless will support 44.1kHz, 16-bit CD lossless audio quality. The users will be able to select between CD lossless audio 44.1kHz and 24-bit 96kHz lossy. The latest sound technology by Qualcomm can auto-detect to enable CD lossless audio when the source is lossless audio. It also optimises the listening experience with Snapdragon Sound. The Qualcomm Aqstic technology will ensure that the user can play extra loud music without damaging the phone’s speaker. You also get a super wideband voice with Snapdragon sound. It provides a narrowband voice 8kHz sampled audio with a 4kHz frequency response which is equivalent to POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) quality. Moreover, you get Wideband voice 16kHz sampled audio with 8kHz frequency response and Super wideband voice quality at 32kHz using aptX voice for crystal clear voice calls. Snapdragon Sound with aptX Lossless technology is helpful in retaining the originality of content bit for bit, resulting in music identical to the original recording. It’s designed to scale up to deliver 16-bit 44.1kHz Lossless CD quality when users are listening to lossless streaming source content, like Amazon HD, and it can scale back the bit-rate in busy RF environments to ensure no drop-outs or audio glitches. Sennheiser recently launched a wonderful pair of Bluetooth headphones in the market that are built for both professional and music lovers. We spent some time with the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless Bluetooth earphones to find out what they are all about. This is the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless review you all have been waiting for.

Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless review: Design

Sennheiser has always been good with its packaging. As soon as you cut open the seal and pull the cardboard tray out of the box you get to see the shiny Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless BT earphones that are tucked in a nice foam encloser. The box also has a 3.5mm auxiliary wire (in case you run out of battery juice) and a USB Type-C charging cable with a small carry case, which reminded us of a similar spectacle case our grandmother used to use. Moving on, the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless earphones are designed to perfection. They do look like the Sennheiser IE 300 earphones we reviewed recently, but they have a distinct personality. The basic shape of the earphone is the same, however, the enclosure is opaque. You can see the machinery inside. Also, a wire with the battery enclosure on one side and volume with power controls on the other side connects the two. Sennheiser-IE-100-Pro-Wireless-wires The Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless earphones fit very nicely in the ear cavity and the adjustable wire end goes behind the ear. With that 2 additional pairs of ear tips are provided in the box (small and large). Overall, the look and design of the audio earphones is very nice, everything about them screams style

Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless review: Performance

Let’s quickly talk about the tech specs of the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless earphones before we talk about our audio experience with them. This nifty gadget comes with 2 years of warranty, works with any Bluetooth 5.0 driven device, and supports AptX, AAC and SBC codecs. The frequency response is between 20Hz to 18kHz, and the impedance is set at 20 Ohm. The audio neckband also has a microphone for you to make and receive calls. We used them in a couple of Zoom calls on the PC and took it out for a run. Both times we were very impressed. The sound quality is far superior to any BT neckband we have used in recent times. The audio calls were clear and other party could hear us well too. The same is when you listen to music, the bass is perfect and high and lows are very audible. No matter what genre of music we threw at the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless audio earplugs, Jazz, rocks, EDM, Bollywood et al, they just managed to bring out the best. Sennheiser-IE-100-Pro-Wireless-earphones Battery life is not bad either. The company claims these can last for 10 hours when fully charges, but we got about 8.5 hours out of them. To fully charge them using the supplied USB Type-C cable it took about 1.5 hours, which some might feel is a bit high, but we suggest you can put them to charge when you wake up and take them with you when you are leaving the house, this way you will get you workday battery life. In case you run out of it, Sennheiser has supplied the users with a 3.5mm aux cable in the box.

Verdict

All in all, we quite liked the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wireless earphones. They sound great, they look good, and they never fell out even when we went for a run with them. At Rs 9,899 (Amazon price) these are an extremely good pair of earphones that cancel noise passively and provide superior sound quality.

The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has revised the pricing of the Galaxy A52 smartphone in India. The company has increased its pricing by Rs 1,000 and this price change is applicable on the device with immediate effect. To recall the device was launched in India in March this year along with Galaxy A72. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. It further includes a 90Hz display and quad rear camera set up.

The latest price hike is applicable to all the models of the Samsung Galaxy A52. The price of the base model tha is 6GB RAM with 128GB storage has been increased by Rs 1,000 and the smartphone is now available for Rs 27,499. In a similar way, the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage will now cost you Rs 28,999 in India. The phone comes in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White colour options. The new pricing is applicable to all the major online as well as offline stores in the country. The updated pricing is now visible on both company’s official online store and Amazon India website.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 features a  6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display along with 90Hz refresh rate support. The phone runs on One UI 3.1 based on top of Android 11. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage options. For the photos and videos, Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. In terms of selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
For connectivity, it includes 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery that supports up to 25W fast charging.
