The Chinese smartphone company OnePlus took the wraps off its latest concept phone. The OnePlus 8T concept is the company’s second concept device. In January this year, the company unveiled its first concept phone OnePlus Concept One and the state-of-the-art device is based on the company’s existing OnePlus 8T which was launched a few months back. It is said to be inspired by natural design and offers a more natural interaction between user and device via color-shifting ECMF design and mmWave tech. On unveiling the launch of the smartphone the company said, “Now with the OnePlus 8T, we are pushing the boundaries of human interaction with mobile technology yet again. Combining design inspiration from nature and a burdenless approach to interacting with devices, the OnePlus team is building further on our first concept technology to unlock even more potential benefit for future smartphone users with our latest project – the OnePlus 8T Concept.” Starting with the form factor first, the design of the OnePlus 8T concept is inspired by these colors from the multi-hued flowing water in the hot springs of Pamukkale, Turkey. The Electronic Color, Material and Finish (ECMF) makes use of a color-changing film that contains metal oxide in the glass. The valence state of the metal ions varies under different voltages so when the metal oxide activates, the color of the glass changes from a dark blue to a light silver. The ECMF design allows the physical design of a device to work in combination with mmWave to make it more interactive. According to the company, the mmWave radar module transmits and receives electromagnetic waves. This makes the device to perceive, image, locate, and track objects by the digital signal processing (DSP) and CPU perform signal and information processing on receiving the electromagnetic waves. With the use of the mmWave module, the OnePlus 8T Concept enables touchless gesture controls. On receiving an incoming call ECMF could flash colors and users could accept or reject the call with a simple gesture. Whereas this technology can also register a user’s breathing, enabling the color to change in sync and effectively making the phone a biofeedback device. To recall in January this year OnePlus launched its first concept phone, the OnePlus Concept One, which used electrochromic glass technology. This was a color-shifting glass that gave the phone an “invisible camera.” Just like the OnePlus Concept One, the OnePlus 8T Concept will not be available for commercial sale in the market. However, the company is yet to share more details on the pricing of its new product but it is said to include five different models in different tonnages as well as a star rating. Speaking of the features, the new range of Nokia air conditioners will include 6-in-1 filters with a negative ioniser in addition to smart features such as an intelligent Motion Sensor. The users can also use their smartphones to easily operate the ACs without having the need for a remote. The air conditioners also offer mart filter clean reminder, multiple scheduler, customised user-profiles and smart diagnosis. In addition to also comes with a self-cleaning technology and it works in a voltage range of 145-265V there you get stabaliser free operations. There is a low vibration motor as well as noiseless operations. According to Flipkart the Nokia air conditioners also include a four-in-one adjustable inverter mode along with rapid room cooling and anti-corrosive copper internals. Moreover, the ACs also have an environment-friendly R-32 refrigerant with Wi-Fi connected smart climate control. You can control the air conditioner with your phone using the SmartHome+ App. It will also send notifications to your phone such as smart reminders to clean the filter, to set multiple on/ off schedules and more. The Call of Duty Mobile India Cup will be aired on the leading esports and game streaming platform, Loco. The new event will consist of two tournaments namely Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Open and Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Pro. The registration for the event has now begun that will allow teams from across the country to sign up and compete against each other in 5v5 matches in an open qualifier format. The Call Of Duty Mobile India Cup Open will be hosted from January 2 to January 24 and there will be a total prize pool of Rs 10 lakhs, of which 5 lakhs will be awarded to the team achieving the first position while the remaining prize money will be distributed amongst teams between second and eighth position. After this 16 qualifying teams will then advance to the Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Pro that will kick off from February 2 to February 14. Also, top professional Call of Duty Mobile teams will be joining the open battle to play 5v5 matches in a league format. And to level up the excitement and intensity team, Mayhem and Team IND are among the top illustrious teams that have been invited for the Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Pro. A total of Rs 25 Lakhs is the declared prize pool for this tournament of which the team at the first position will receive Rs 10 Lakhs, followed by Rs 5 Lakhs and Rs 3 Lakhs to the 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The premium one which is Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to be priced at EUR 1,399 for the 128GB storage that translates to Rs 1,26000. In addition to this, the tipster has also revealed some of the pictures of the much-anticipated smartphone S21+. The leaked renders have revealed the design of the front as well as the back of the device. In addition to this it has also shown the colour option the device will be available in. In the coming months, the Search will be showing relevant content in supported Indian languages where appropriate, even if the local language query is typed in English. This feature will be serving bilingual people who are comfortable reading both English and an Indian language. According to Google, this functionality will be released in five Indian languages: Hindi, Bangla, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. In addition to this now Google is now also expanding the ability to select up to nine Indian languages in Google Maps where users can quickly and easily change their Maps experience into one of nine Indian languages, by simply opening the app, going to Settings, and tapping ‘App language’. This will also let the users to search for places, get directions and navigation, and interact with the Map in their preferred local language. Apart from this Google Lens can now help you solve math problems by simply pointing your camera right from the search bar in the Google app. To do this, Lens first turns an image of a homework question into a query. Based on the query, it will show step-by-step guides and videos to help explain the problem. Furthermore, Google has also developed Multilingual Representations for Indian Languages (or ‘MuRIL’) for India. The MuRIL will scale across languages and will provide support for transliterated text such as when writing Hindi using Roman script, which was something missing from previous models of its kind. The Multilingual model also helps in determining the sentiment of the sentence. According to the company when someone says “Achha Hua account bandh nahi hua” would previously be interpreted as having a negative meaning, but MuRIL correctly identifies this as a positive statement. Or take the ability to classify a person versus a place: ‘Shirdi Ke sai baba’ would previously be interpreted as a place, which is wrong, but MuRIL correctly interprets it as a person. The MuRIL, in the beginning, will support 16 Indian languages as well as English. For this, the company has also created a MuRIL source and it is currently available to download from the TensorFlow Hub, for free. Samsung’s most anticipated and flagship series which is Galaxy S21 series has been making a lot of new. The company recently confirmed to host the launch event in January 2021 therefore also hinting that there will be an S Pen support to other devices in the upcoming lineup. The South Korean company is going to include three devices Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Just ahead of the launch some of the renders as well as the videos of the devices have been leaked on the web therefore revealing the design of the next-generation Samsung smartphone. Not much time is left for the introduction of the much-hyped Samsung Galaxy S21 series but the internet is already flooded with its leaks and rumours. The news is rife that one of the smartphones from the line up that is Galaxy S21+ has been leaked via YouTube video from a channel named Random Stuff 2. The leaked video is five minutes long and it has revealed the pre-production glory of the device confirming a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. Apart from this, the video has also confirmed a triple rear camera on the back of the smartphone that is to include a 64-megapixel sensor which is going to support 4K 60fps HDR10+ video. The Samsung Galaxy S21+ is also said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 for 5G connectivity with 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of storage. On the software front, the mobile phone will run Android 11 out of the box. There will be an under-display fingerprint sensor too.

On the other has a German blog WinFuture together with the famous tipster Evan Blass has brought some marketing images publically of all the three flagship devices. As per the leaked images, the S21 is shown in flour colour options while the S20+ will be available in three colour options and the Ultra variant to come in two different shades. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra renders shows a quad rear camera set up with laser autofocus and an LED flash inside the module which correlates with previously leaked information. It is revealed to feature a curved display with a hole-punch positioned at the top centre to play house to a selfie camera.

Whereas both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will come with a flat display and a hole punch design. There will be three cameras on the back of the phone bearing a plastic back cover. While the premium one which is the Ultra variant will keep the glass back similar to the existing model. In addition to this, all the three devices will be flaunting the same curved rear.

After Facebook criticised Apple’s privacy policy, the tech giant’s CEO Tim Cook has said that the users should have the choice over the data that is being collected about them and how it’s used. In a Twitter post, he further added that Facebook can continue to track users across apps and websites as before, App Tracking Transparency in iOS 14 will just require that they ask for your permission first.     In an official blog post, Facebook spoke in support of small businesses stating that Apple’s new iOS 14 policy will have a harmful impact on many small businesses that are struggling to stay afloat and on the free internet that we all rely on more than ever. Giving an overview of what Apple is doing, Facebook mentioned that Apple is “creating a policy — enforced via iOS 14’s AppTracking Transparency — that’s about profit, not privacy. It will force businesses to turn to subscriptions and other in-app payments for revenue, meaning Apple will profit and many free services will have to start charging or exit the market.” Additionally, the Mark Zuckerberg-led company added that Apple is also hurting small businesses and publishers who are already struggling in a pandemic. “These changes will directly affect their ability to use their advertising budgets efficiently and effectively. Our studies show, without personalized ads powered by their own data, small businesses could see a cut of over 60 percent of website sales from ads. We don’t anticipate the proposed iOS 14 changes to cause a full loss of personalization but rather a move in that direction over the longer term,” said Dan Levy, VP Ads and Business Products. Asserting that Apple is not playing by their own rules, Facebook claimed that the Cupertino-based tech giant’s own personalized ad platform isn’t subject to the new iOS 14 policy. “We disagree with Apple’s approach, yet we have no choice but to show their prompt. If we don’t, we’ll face retaliation from Apple, which could only further harm the businesses we want to support. We can’t take that risk,” added Levy. The e-commerce is hosting a five days long sale that will last until December 22 in which it will be offering massive discounts to its customers on mobile phones, laptops, TVs, speakers, and other electronic appliances. During the sale, Motorola smartphones will be up for sale with savings of up to 40 percent. The Lenovo owned company Motorola has announced its offers across their smartphone portfolio for Flipkart’s Big Savings Days. There will be up to a 10 percent instant discount on SBI Credit Cards and EMI transactions. Following are the Motorola smartphones that will be up for sale: Motorola Razr 5G is the company’s foldable phone which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC for 5G support. It has a 6.2-inch flexible OLED display with a Quick view display as an outer or secondary display. The regular price of the smartphone is Rs 1,24,999 but during the Flipkart sale, it will be available at Rs 99,999. There will be an additional Rs 25,000 exchange discount. The foldable smartphone will be offered for Rs 98,749 to SBI cardholders. Moto G9 Power was launched in India earlier this month. It comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. There is a triple camera set up on the back of the phone. The smartphone was launched at Rs 11,999 but during the sale, the smartphone will be available at Rs 10,799 along with the SBI card offer. Moto G9 was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 11,490 but the device is now up for grabs at Rs 9,999 with Rs 1,500 off whereas it can be purchased at Rs 8,999 on the SBI cards transactions. To recall the smartphone arrived with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support. The device features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display. Motorola One Fusion+ has been launched in India in a single 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 17,999. But during Flipkart Big Saving Days sale it can be accessed by paying at 16,499 along with Rs 1,000 discount on exchange of old smartphone. But on SBI card transactions the smartphone can be bought at Rs 15,249. One Fusion+ is the company’s first device with a pop-up selfie camera to arrive in the country. The mobile phone includes a 5,000mAh battery and quad cameras that include a 64-megapixel primary sensor and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. The Motorola Edge+ comes with Snapdragon 865 processor along with a 90Hz waterfall curved hole-punch display. There is a 108-megapixel camera sensor and it runs on Android 10 out of the box. During the sale, the smartphone can now be purchased at Rs 64,999 down from Rs 74,999. Motorola Razr features a 2.7-inch Quick View display that offers 600×800 pixels of resolution on the outside. When unfolded it offers a 6.2-inch flexible OLED HD+ display with 876×2142 pixels of resolution. The regular price of the smartphone is Rs 1,24,999 but now it will be up for sale at Rs 74,999. Sony took to Twitter to announce that it is removing CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 from its PlayStation Store after the players reported for bugs in the flagship title. In addition to this, the company is also offering full refunds. In India, the Cyberpunk 2077 has now been pulled from the PlayStation store as many of its fans as well as reviewers were given limited access just ahead of its December 10 launch. The CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 has already disappointed its fans as well as industry reviewers for plaguing it with game-crashing bugs as well as graphics issues. After facing a huge backlash the CD Projekt has however apologised and promised to fix the bugs through updates. The company made a tweet via its official Twitter handle and the post said, ” we will fix bugs and crashes, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one is coming within the next 7 days. Expect more, as we will update frequently whenever new improvements are ready After the holidays, we’ll continue working – we’ll release two large patches starting with Patch #1 in January. This will be followed by Patch #2 in February Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles. We will be informing you about the contents of each patch ahead of their release. They won’t make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.” Cyberpunk 2077 is the most expensive video game from the Poland’s top video games maker which was released on December 10 after several delays. The players across the globe are frustrated over the glitchy graphics and bad gameplay on the previous generation of consoles. Going a step further Sony entirely removed the game from its store and is also offering full refunds after the player requested refunds. While announcing the refunds the company said, “SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.” The company further added, “Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.” Like we said earlier it is confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed from India.
