Not Sure What Tablet to Buy? Here Are Our Top Picks for 2022

For most people, tablets are not something you need, but they’re definitely nice to have around. They’re so versatile. You can watch a movie, browse the web or catch up on a bit of work. Sometimes your phone screen just doesn’t cut it but taking out your laptop is overkill. That’s when you’re glad you bought a tablet. But if you’re reading this article, you’ve already decided that you want to buy one. You’re just not sure which one to buy. Well, what makes a tablet good? It should have a long battery life, be able to run your favourite apps smoothly, and offer more than another screen to watch YouTube videos on. These days you have a lot of great tablets to choose from that fit any budget. Apple continues to dominate the tablet market with its iPad line, but it isn’t the only company that makes great tablets. We know that it often feels that you have too many options. It becomes overwhelming, so you end up buying the latest iteration from the brand you’re most familiar with. To help you out, we’ve made a shortlist of our favourite tablets for 2021.

Apple iPad Air (2020)

The iPad Air 2020 represents a significant step forward for Apple’s mid-range tablet, as it replaces the outdated look with something more industrial and sleek. Even without the 120Hz ProMotion display or Face ID from the iPad Pro series, if you’re willing to forego such indulgences, the 2020 Air is still the only iPad most people will ever need. In addition to a beautiful design, Touch ID, and a variety of vibrant colour options, you also get a stunning, high-resolution full-screen display – though it does have slightly larger bezels than its Pro counterpart. Moreover, the iPad Air 2020 is compatible with Apple’s Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil that were previously reserved for the company’s high-end tablets. The A14 Bionic chipset, which is also included in the iPhone 12 line, is still a beast capable of handling nearly anything you throw at it. It may not offer performance as impressive as that of the iPad Pro line or Apple’s A15 or M1 chips, but it still packs quite a punch and works seamlessly. With this tablet, you get great hardware, a very intuitive operating system, and a large library of high-quality apps. Using a device that runs on iOS also means that you get frequent updates and excellent security, which unfortunately is still not something we can say about Android tablets.

Apple iPad Mini (2021)

With an angular design, Centre Stage technology, stereo speakers, and significantly thinner bezels than before, the sixth-generation iPad Mini leaves the traditional form factor in favor of something closer to the iPad Air and Pro ranges. The Mini’s 60Hz display has grown to 8.3 inches without increasing the tablet’s physical size, providing greater display space without compromising portability. And we must say that the display is stunning. It may be a bit too small for proper split-screen multitasking, but it has the highest pixel density of any iPad to date. It uses the same A15 Bionic chip as the iPhone 13 series, which makes it more powerful than the iPad Air at a comparable price. The Touch ID sensor is now on the Power button, just as the iPad Air, and the second-gen Apple Pencil is supported. However, because it lacks a Smart Connector on the back, it lacks its own Magic Keyboard, which is a huge plus for the iPad Air and Pro lines, and the Mini’s only significant weakness.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+

If you don’t want an iPad but need something strong for work and entertainment, the Tab S7+ is our top Android selection. The Galaxy Tab S7+ is Samsung’s most impressive tablet to date, nailing the fundamentals with its display, performance, and design while also including interesting extras like powerful stereo speakers and a reliable in-display fingerprint scanner. It offers quad-speaker performance that rivals that of the iPad Pro, and the 12.4-inch OLED screen with a 120-Hz refresh rate makes it one of the greatest tablets for watching videos and playing games. Samsung’s S Pen is included, so you can get started sketching straight away without having to spend any additional money on any accessories. It also includes Samsung’s DeX software, which transforms Android into a desktop-like computer interface when required. When used in DeX mode with a Bluetooth keyboard, the Tab S7+ becomes a handy productivity tool. The Tab S7+, like the iPad Pro, is an expensive device. If you want a more affordable price tag and are willing to forego the OLED screen for a smaller 11-inch LCD panel, you could opt for the Tab S7. All the other features are pretty much the same. Both versions come with an LTE/5G version in case you need to connect outside of your home or office.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7

Although the initial Surface Pro had flaws, it made a significant impact on the market. Since then, Microsoft has improved the design, and the Surface Pro 7 is the closest thing to a hybrid device that can be used as both a tablet and a laptop. The Pro 7 really shines thanks to its enhanced internals and better graphics. It’s obviously more powerful than the Pro X, and it’s also a significant improvement over the Surface Pro 6. It’s still not a gaming laptop, and while cheaper conventional laptops may offer greater raw power, you’ll forfeit the versatile design. With the Pro 7, you get a great 12.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels, a clever design, and a range of internal specs from basic to superfast. It is, without a doubt, the most customizable device on our list. It’s fun to watch movies on because of the pixel-packed display and strong speakers, but it falls short of the iPad Pro when it comes to gaming performance. The Surface Pen and Type cover are fantastic accessories that, when combined with the full edition of Windows 10, make this tablet a perfect pick for students and creative professionals. The Pro 7 is worth considering if you want to take advantage of the portability and flexibility of this 2-in-1. However, if processing power is important, there are more capable laptops at a similar price. 5 lesser-known hacks to take the best selfies

Taking selfies and putting them on social media in modern times is like a ritual. We want to capture ourselves in the scenic beauty of the place we go. If you are bored of taking the same type of selfies again and again and want to know some lesser-known hacks to take the best selfies this is the right article for you.  Just follow the ways or hacks mentioned down below and you can get better selfies.

Watch out for jawline

The jawline is a part of the body that makes a big impact on the selfies you take. If you do not have a sharp jawline then no problem! You just need to try out a few different camera angles in which the double chin is least visible. Additionally, you can also contract the skin on your jaw to make it look slimmer. Take a top-angle selfie with your phone contracting the skin under the jaw and you should be able to get a perfect selfie.

Tryout best selfie angles

Of course, everyone does look different even when the camera angle is exactly the same, you can find out what suits you best for you. But if you are confused about what angles you can choose to take selfies, we have you covered. Just try out these angles and see what suits you best.Tryout angles
  • Hold your phone above your forehead and point your chin slightly down and look up at the camera.
  • Turn your face slightly to one side (ideally 45 degrees)
  • Lay down and put the camera directly above your face. Quick side note, just make sure that you are not using a Nokia phone, you know why.Lay down
  • Look straight on at the camera but slightly elevate the arm that’s holding your phone
These are some angles that you can try for yourself and see which works best

Make a signature filter/pose

Making your signature pose or using the same filter in most of your selfies can help you to stand out from the crowd. If you use the same pose or filter quite often then you can make it as your style statement. Using the same pose or filter will also make your feed look more uniform and clean.  But be careful with this hack, if used excessively then it can also impact your social media game.

Experiment with light

Light is a key element in any photo let it be selfies only. When used correctly can make your selfies look great. Try to experiment a bit with different lights, if you have studio lights at home then you can also try key light and rim light effects with it. But if you don’t have expensive lighting equipment at home then you can always experiment with natural light.Experiment with light

Take selfies during golden hour

Golden hour is a time frame between 1-2 hours before the sunset and 1-2 hours before sunrise. This is a time when the light from the sun has a bit of yellowish-gold light in it. Photos taken in this time frame look very good because the light coming from the sun has some golden colour to it and also the light is very soft in that time frame. So these were some lesser-known hacks to take best selfies. Try all these hacks and you will be able to improve your selfie game. Best ways to make the Clubhouse experience even better

Clubhouse has been on Android and iOS devices for a while. The audio only platform allows users to join public or private chat rooms and have to deep dive into the given topic. You can request to be a speaker if you want to share your thoughts and ideas on the topic and build connections. While most people use the clubhouse for time pass and for fun, it can be a great platform to build really useful connections of your interest. This article is about guiding you through the best ways to make the Clubhouse experience even better. Just follow these simple and easy steps

Add a good bio

Unlike other social media platforms like Instagram, Clubhouse is a platform where people do read your bio because it is an audio only platform. So adding a proper bio with your interest is a must, so that visitors can have some information about you.Add a good bio-clubhouse experience You should also mention your hobbies and interests. Also, you should add your other social media platforms as well in it so that people may connect with you on other platforms as well.

Invite your contactsInvite contacts-clubhouse experience

Whenever you invite anyone to Clubhouse and they join the platform with your invite, your account will be displayed on the profile of that person. This can be very useful to get some extra exposure on the platform. Since your profile will be displayed on others’ profiles as well then there is a chance that people may follow you as well. But you should be careful while inviting others on the platform, as the number of invites is limited.

Set profile picture same across all platformsSame profile picture- increase clubhouse followers

You should try to use the same profile picture as you have used on other social media platforms. Using the same profile picture will make it easy for followers to find your profile and in addition to that using the same profile picture makes you look more professional. So just head over to Instagram or Twitter and pick the profile picture that you have used. Read also: Clubhouse will add a DM text chat feature: Everything you need to

Try to get on stage

Being in the room and just listening to the speakers might increase your followers, but if you try to get to the stage as a speaker then there are more chances for you to be followed by others in the room. Sharing your thoughts with other members in the room will help you to gain more followers as people now know about your thought process and your interest. It also brings the attention of the hosts toward you. So, the next time you join any chat room don’t just sit and listen to others, share your ideas as well.

Become a member of clubs

That’s the main reason for the clubhouse, isn’t it? Joining different clubs and making new contacts. You can join different clubs in the clubhouse sharing the same interests as you. Joining clubs will allow you to get a better connection with your type of people. The clubs that you will join will appear in your profile and everyone can see them. So if you are interested in photography just join any photography club that you like the most or where you have most of your icons and friends.Join clubs- increase followers

Start your own room private room

If you want to host a conversation on any new trendy topic but you don’t have any experience or knowledge to do so, just invite your friends to a private room and practice over there. And as they say “The more you sweat in practice the less you bleed in battle” so it’s better that you learn everything about hosting a room and then go ahead and create a public room. When you have a better stage presence you will get more followers.

Give a proper name to your room

Out of many mistakes that people make while creating a room, one is not giving a proper name to the room. Giving a proper name to the room will attract more audience and will be better for you at the end. You should always give a short and simple name to your chat room and it should be related to the topic. Nobody would like it if you give the “How to make chocolate cake” name to your chat room and then talk about the 5 benefits of the Keto Diet.Give proper name to room- increase clubhouse followers Read also: 10 reasons why you are not getting right-swiped on Tinder For the latest gadget and tech news, and gadget reviews, follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G bagged BIS certification, may launch in India soon

Recently, OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G renders leaked on the web. The specification and the pricing were also tipped earlier. In a new development, the device has been spotted on BIS, therefore indicating an imminent launch in India having codename Ivan which is believed to be Nord 2 CE. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The phone bears the model number IV2201. Except for this other details about the smartphone remains undisclosed. But if the phone has bagged the Indian certification then the mobile phone may launch in the country soon. Previously the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G renders were also leaked on the web. The phone has been leaked in grey and olive colour options. The images suggest that the phone will have an AMOLED display with a hole-punch design. The power button is located on the right side of the frame, and the volume rocker is located on the left side.  A microphone, speaker grille, headphone jack, and USB Type-C port are located on the handset’s bottom. There will also be a fingerprint sensor built into the display. In terms of optics, a triple rear camera sensor will be housed inside a rectangular module, similar to what we saw on the OnePlus Nord 2. Also, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G price was originally assumed to be around Rs 28,000 in India. The smartphone will be released in India in the first quarter of 2022, and it will also be available in Europe, according to the report. In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will run OxygenOS 12 on top of Android 12. Furthermore, a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, as well as 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, is expected to power the device. A 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz is expected on the device. Corning Gorilla Glass will protect the display as well as the back panel, with a punch hole cut out for the selfie camera. The side frames will be made of plastic. On the back of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE phone is a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP camera on the front. It has a 4,500mAh battery capacity and supports 65W fast charging. The smartphone is said to have a triple card slot for SIM and microSD cards. Because the existing OnePlus Nord CE lacks a MicroSD card slot, the addition of the triple card slot is an improvement over the previous model. The phone, on the other hand, is said to be missing the alert slider, which could be a disappointment for many.
