Amber Alerts for Missing Children are now available on Instagram

Instagram has announced the addition of another essential service on its platform called AMBER Alerts, which allows individuals to read and share missing child reports in their area. This feature will begin to roll out today and will be available in all 25 countries during the next several weeks. AMBER Alerts on Facebook have proven successful in assisting authorities in locating missing children since 2015. The notice will include crucial information about the youngster, such as a photo, description, and the location of the kidnapping, among other things. For the first time, Instagram has added AMBER Alerts to its platform. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom, the Attorney General’s Office in Mexico, the Australian Federal Police, and others collaborated on this feature. “We know that the chances of finding a missing child increase when more people are on the lookout, especially in the first few hours. With this update, if an AMBER Alert is activated by law enforcement and you are in the designated search area, the alert will now appear in your Instagram feed,” the blog post noted. Important details about the child will be included in the alert, such as a photo, description, abduction location, and any additional information that can be provided. The warning can also be shared with friends to help spread the information. According to Instagram, these are uncommon alerts that are specific to the search area. If you get one, it signifies a missing child search is underway in your area. It uses a variety of indications to determine who should receive these alerts, including the city you mention on your profile, your IP address, and location services (if you have it turned on). AMBER Alerts on Instagram will launch today in 25 countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Ecuador, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Jamaica, Korea, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania, South Africa, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. We’re focusing on expanding their reach and bringing them to more countries. AMBER Alerts on Facebook was announced in 2015. Since then, hundreds of successful child endangerment cases have been solved in the United States and around the world because of the warnings. Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review: Sporty sound that grows on you

0
Sennheiser has been a brand that has been building audio equipment including wireless earphones for a very long time. The latest to come from the brand are Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds that came to us for an assessment. We played around with them for quite some time to understand what makes them tick and what makes them talk. Here is the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review that you need to check if you are in the market to buy new earphones.

Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review: Design

When unboxed, the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds come in a charging case that is very different from others. Dressed in black, it is a bit large and has a loop on the side in case you want to hang it with a string in or on your backpack. The charging case looks like a miniature version of an icebox. The lid is magnetically managed, and you get a LED indicator in front of the box. The rear holds the USB charging port that is well hidden behind a rubber panel. This is a good thing as it will save the charging port from dust and water. Open the sturdy lid and you can see large Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds sporting black colour with a hint of dark bronze on it as the logo. The same colour scheme can be found on the lid of the charging case too. The earbuds have a boxy design, which holds a large audio driver as well as a battery inside. The charging points can be found at the rear of the earphones. Sennheiser-Sport-True-Wireless-earbuds The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds seem very robust and to wear them one just has to push them into the ear cavity and twist. You also get multiple silicone ear tips with them. One has an open hole while the other has a cross string in them. These can be used for focus or aware mode, which we found to be a little tedious as each time we had to remove and fit in a new tip. You also get 3 additional rubber fins, which can be used for different ear types. The fins help you secure the earbuds in place. 2 mics on each earpiece can also be found for voice calls. Read Also: Top 10 headphones with amazing audio experience under Rs 5,000

Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review: Performance

Let’s move to the fun part of the review, its performance. Now here is where these earbuds almost fully shine. Why do we say almost? We will tell you in just a bit. Let’s quickly talk about some of the tech specs of the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds. A 7mm Transducer can be found in each earphone. A 55mAh battery can also be found in each earpiece with 400mAh additional battery that is placed in the charging case. The company claims you can get 9 hours of playtime. While testing, we got about 8 hours, which is still very good. Over that, an additional 27 hours of playback can be derived through the charging case. Also, 10 minutes of charge in the box can get you 1 hour of audio playback. It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the charging box with the earphones inside them. Sennheiser-Sport-True-Wireless-earbuds-earphones But how good is the sound? Well, it is very very good. The highs and lows are exceptional. The vocals are incredible too. But what we wanted a little more from Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds was the thump. The bass, well, is not bassy. With the Sennheiser Smart Control app, you can enhance it, yet it is not optimum. Also, with the app, you can switch between the Focus and Aware modes. However, with that, you need to switch the silicone tips too from open to the cross ones, which is a tedious task. The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds also feature feather tap panels on each earphone. You can tap to play or pause music, receive or end phone calls or go to previous or next tracks. Over that, these audio earplugs are IP54 rated, which means splashes of water or dust will not ruin them.

Verdict

Weighing at about 42 grams each, the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds are not the lightest, but at Rs 10,990 they are one of the less expensive wireless earphone options by the company. All in all, we loved its battery life and audio performance. Yes, the thump could have been better but the EQ options in the app do take care of it to a certain extent. A little bit more and it would have been great. If the company had added ANC at this price point, these would have been a perfect buy. Nonetheless, if you are in the market to buy branded wireless earphones and ANC is not at the top of your priority list, you can go for them in a blink of an eye.

Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbud pros

Good sound Great to look at Long battery life

Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbud cons

Bass could have been better No ANC For the latest gadget and tech news, and gadget reviews, follow us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram. For newest tech & gadget videos subscribe to our YouTube Channel. OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Is it the right investment?

Hello everyone, we’re back with another review. Today, we’ll discuss the new OnePlus 10 Pro, which we’ve been testing for a few weeks now. OnePlus was previously extremely close to what Samsung and Apple flagships had to offer, but the Chinese manufacturer has rapidly become more expensive in recent years. The recent merger of OnePlus and Oppo has received a lot of backlash from fans.  But, we do feel many have been quite harsh on the OnePlus 10 Pro, so let’s take a look at it from a different angle. We had a fantastic time with this phone, although it is just a step behind the iPhone 13 or the Samsung S22 Ultra. So, is it worth the money? Let’s find out in this review.

OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Design and Display

First and foremost, this form factor is one of our favourites. It is not overly large, and the weight and size are both ideal. The feel of this phone in your hands is excellent. Furthermore, the OnePlus 10 Pro is quite thin. The lack of an IP68 rating is the one item that has kept us up at night during our testing. So we had to be extra cautious every time we went outdoors, which we shouldn’t have to be if we’re buying a flagship phone that costs Rs 66,999. So, in our opinion, including the IP68 classification could have been a wonderful decision. OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Design and Display The Emerald Forest has a super soft material on the back, which we were able to get our hands-on. The phone is now fingerprint resistant, which was not possible with its predecessor. The new camera model design seems to be inspired by Samsung. Like the contour cut on the Galaxy S22, the entire array flows into the frame flawlessly.  OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Design and Display The camera module is made of ceramic, and it’s both robust and attractive. The alert slider has been a hallmark of OnePlus phones, and it’s still as helpful as ever. OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Design and Display A 6.7-inch QHD+ curved LTPO display with a resolution of 1,440×3,216 pixels and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio distinguishes the OnePlus 10 Pro. A dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz is also available on the screen. The display boasts a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and strides in with always-on mode. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus panel. The fingerprint sensor built into the touchscreen is quick and responsive. When there was enough ambient light, face recognition worked well, but it struggled in low-light circumstances. Additional storage or a headphone jack is not available. On the OnePlus 10 Pro, two nano-SIMs can be utilised.

OnePlus 10 Pro review: Performance and Cameras

The good news is that it’s undeniably top-notch, and you’ll love it. Despite the fact that this is the same display panel as the OnePlus 9 Pro. This time, however, it is a little more refined. The fingerprint sensor is in the ideal location, and the haptics are among the greatest on a smartphone.  OnePlus 10 Pro Review India   We admire how the OnePlus fine-tuned it by paying attention to the smallest of details. When you scroll through the multitasking tiles, for example, there is subtle vibration feedback that creates a unique sensation. The audio quality is also better here, and we’ve had a lot of fun viewing movies and TV shows on this phone. However, we believe there is still potential for improvement in terms of audio, particularly in terms of bass and treble. But, if you are not an audiophile, you will probably not have many complaints. In terms of performance the OnePlus 10 Pro is armed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This is a pretty quick phone to use, whether you’re looking for something simple or want to play games. Moving on, day-to-day contact with the OnePlus 10 Pro is also impressive. Everything seems fluid, and the typing experience is precise. Yes, the curved display may be susceptible to accidental touches, but we did not find this to be an issue. However, if you live in a very hot region where the temperature regularly exceeds 40 degrees, this phone may become extremely warm very quickly, even if you are performing routine tasks, particularly when the camera app is active.   In Delhi, the phone became extremely hot on a regular basis, and the device became excessively hot at times due to the outside temperature of over 46 degrees. As a result, even during intense gaming sessions like Asphalt, you should expect a heating issue. For example, after 20 minutes of gameplay, the smartphone becomes rather hot, lowering the average frame rate.  Popular games like COD Battlegrounds, on the other hand, run smoothly at 60 frames per second when the temperature isn’t too high. Of course, it becomes warm around the camera module, but the frame rate remained consistent throughout our gaming session, indicating no throttling. Our Tip, keep the A/c on if you are living in a hot area when gaming. Because the display is set to QHD resolution, it has a significant impact on battery life and thermals because the chipset is under a lot of strain. The phone could only manage about 5 hours of screen on time at the default resolution, but that number doubled when we dropped down to full HD quality. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s battery life isn’t the greatest, but it does come with a 5,000mAh battery that can be quickly recharged with the included 80W charger This is an excellent thing because other flagship phones, such as the iPhone 13 and Samsung S22, don’t come with a charger. It doesn’t take long to charge the phone. It took about 45 minutes to charge to 100 percent using the included charger, which is incredible. OxygenOS 12.1 is installed on the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, which is based on Android 12. You get a bit of bloatware experience, as it comes with a few pre-installed programmes that thankfully can be easily removed. OnePlus says that the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. This means it can be your partner for a very long time. OnePlus 10 Pro Review India Moving on to the cameras, which are another important feature of the OnePlus 10 Pro. For photographs and videos, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera array, which features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). A 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS are also included in the camera combination. The smartphone’s camera offers a 3.3x optical zoom feature. It can also capture video at 24 frames per second in up to 8K resolution. Whereas Samsung and Apple have made significant advancements in camera technology, OnePlus is still taking incremental advances in computational photography. We compared its camera to the Galaxy S22+ and found that Samsung’s photographs were more attractive and consistent, with better dynamic range and highlight handling, virtually every time. It’s the same with portraits and selfies, where OnePlus’ shots aren’t necessarily poor, but they are a step behind Samsung’s. But that does not mean they are bad, maybe a future software update can make these even better.    During the day, the ultra-wide camera recorded excellent details and vibrant colours with high HDR resolution. The primary lens captures a great deal of detail with true colours during the day.
OnePlus 10 Pro camera
Without/with night mode
Low-light photos were likewise very detailed and precise colour reproduction could be seen. The camera app used ultra-wide and telephoto cameras to take a long exposure photograph.

The telephoto lens, on the other hand, takes crisp, detailed images up to a 10X zoom, after which image quality declines (as you zoom in further). Review of OnePlus 10 Pro Review of OnePlus 10 Pro In our opinion, OnePlus needs to put in a lot more effort if it wants to remain competitive. We’re not only talking about photography here; we’re also talking about videography. On a flagship phone, you can’t shoot 4K selfie videos, which is a given its competition is providing. Also, there’s no 4K60fps option onboard, which is unusual for such high-end equipment at such a high price.

Verdict

So, after going through everything in this OnePlus 10 Pro review, it’s easy to conclude that the OnePlus 10 Pro seems to be a hasty upgrade. The team could have done so much more as we have seen them doing year after year. Maybe these are teething issues as the merger with Oppo has been done. . But on the brighter side, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G features a larger battery that charges rather quickly, an AMOLED display, a better selfie camera, and a more attractive appearance. Also, you get the faster charger in the box, which the competition is not giving. They just need to take care of the heating issue and the camera’s frame rate. It is a decent buy at this price point but has the potential to be great.  Buy Here OnePlus 10 Pro 5G Pros Flawless design Snappy and bloatware-free Quick charging OnePlus 10 Pro 5G Cons Lacks IP68 rating Average cameras Overheating issue For the latest gadget and tech news, and gadget reviews, follow us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram. For newest tech & gadget videos subscribe to our YouTube Channel. 12 Best New Emojis And Their Meaning For Using In Your Chats And Instagram Posts

We know you feel it too. Chats and posts on social media without emojis are utterly bland, aren’t they? Emojis fill our digital lives and expressions with our real emotions. They are nothing but our own mirror reflections that appear during various situations that we find ourselves in. Agreed, we might not be able to completely eradicate the many digital miscommunications that creep in, solely through the use of emoticons. But they are definitely a huge step up from the lifeless text messages that make it impossible for a user to understand the other person’s mood. Here are the 12 best new emojis of 2023 and their meanings, that you can use in your chats and Instagram posts. We might not realise it, but we unconsciously do read people from their slightest behaviour and adjust ours to react accordingly. From facial expressions as mild as raising an eyebrow to small hand gestures, these reveal a lot about our personalities, moods, and state of mind. And in the digital space, it is the emojis, GIFs, and stickers that help us with this deciphering process.

Face Holding Back Tears

Holding back tears emoji- 10 Best New Emojis And Their Meaning
The very first on our list of the 12 best new emojis of 2023 to use in your chats is the face with a smile but holding back tears. And surely we all can relate to this face, no? We pull it up unknowingly on so many occasions. How do you feel watching cute puppies or kittens hopping around in reels or videos on Instagram? Recall the occasions when you were extremely happy and proud of someone close to you. Doesn’t your heart get a bit emotional in such moments? This emoji represents your tears of joy, the admiration, proudness, or gratitude that you feel towards someone in those instances.

Melting Face

Melting Face Emoji- 10 Best New Emojis And Their Meaning One straightforward way to perceive the melting emoji is its representation of our situation during extremely hot weather conditions. But on the other hand, one can’t help but notice the slight sense of sarcasm that the emoji lends. The emoji does tend to remind us of those moments in our lives when we might have felt embarrassed, shameful, or suffering from intense dread sinking in.

Face With Open Eyes And Hand Over Mouth

Face With Open Eyes And Hand Over Mouth Next on our list of the 12 best new emojis of 2023 is this one. Needing no explanation, the face with open eyes and hand over the mouth is clearly meant to express shock or disbelief. But we wonder why it makes us feel that it might have a rather funny or mischievous use case as well. Have you ever teased any of your friends or siblings by scaring them with the fact that their actions would have negative consequences (when it might not be true in reality)? You know, the look of ‘what have you done?!’, while you’re rolling on the floor laughing inside your head? Face With Peeking Eye

Peeking Eye Emoji - 10 Best New Emojis And Their Meaning Now, we say this one was certainly required. And the way it has been designed and brought up makes you chuckle instantly, doesn’t it? It represents your reaction when you want to look away from a frightening or embarrassing situation. We also have the same look on our faces when we watch a horror movie. We might not have the courage to watch the entire jump-scare scene with wide-open eyes, but still have the curiosity to know what happened next. Isn’t it relatable?

Saluting Face

Saluting Face Emoji The saluting face has been introduced to be used as a sign of respect. During our lifetime, we come across a number of people who make a solid positive impact on our lives. To those who inspire you in different ways, those whom you look up to or have a deep sense of respect for, this emoji gives you a chance to pay homage to them.

Dotted Line Face

Dotted line face- 10 Best New Emojis And Their Meaning The dotted line face emoji might have seemed a little tricky to decipher at first, right? Let us help you out here. Dotted lines around a character is a well-known trope in comic books to refer to someone that is invisible or hidden. Now, we understand that finding context for this emoji in that sense might be difficult in daily life. However, it can also represent smallness or submissiveness, a feeling of being left out or alone, or even depression.

Face With Diagonal Mouth

Diagonal Mouth Face The next on our list of the 12 best new emojis of 2023 for you to use in your chats or on Instagram is this one with a closed slanting or diagonal mouth. According to Unicode, it is the face for the expression ‘meh’, which is used in slang for stating your lack of interest or enthusiasm on a subject. You also pull up this face when you are sceptical, indifferent, unsure, or disappointed at something. It kind of starts to make sense now, doesn’t it?

Rightwards And Leftwards Hand

Leftward and Rightward Hands Another one among the confusing new emoji arrivals of 2023 is the rightwards and leftwards hand. It would make sense for us to use it on occasions wherein we want to extend our hand to the next person to shake hands with them. Even we are quite curious to know about its other possible use cases. If any more contexts for using this emoji come to your mind, we would be absolutely delighted to hear about them. Do share with us in the comments section below! Palm Down And Palm Up Hand

Palm Up and Down Emojis By having a first look at them, both the palm up and palm down hand emoji appear to represent a polite expression. Unicode suggests that the palm down hand can be used for indicating the dropping of an item (like dropping the mike, etc.), or dismissing someone. However, we think it can also be used for situations where you informally extend a hand towards someone, either asking them to come forward, pace up, or as a gesture of offering help. The palm-down emoji, on the other hand, can be used as an action of demanding, offering, beckoning, or asking a question.

Index Pointing At The Viewer

Finger Pointing At Viewer The final one on our list of the 12 best new emojis of 2023, for you to use in your chats and social media posts, is this one. Fairly simple to interpret, you point your index finger at someone in front of you to highlight that it is them that you’re talking about (in singular). The symbol is often used in numerous advertisements and posters as well as in art and in sign language. Different scenarios come to mind, ranging from the ‘YOU!’ you say to express anger towards the next person, to the ‘You’ you say as in “You. Are. Important.”. Of course, there also comes the ‘You’ in “I Love You” or “I Care for You”.    Index And Thumb Crossed Emoji Symbolism So those were some of the best new emojis of 2023 that you can use in your chats or Instagram and Facebook posts. There are plenty of other new emojis that have been added to the latest Emoji 14.0 set, that have been approved as a part of Unicode 14.0 in 2021. But amongst these, we would like to make a special mention to the emoji having the hand with index finger and thumb crossed. As all the K-Pop fans would already know, this is a symbol of a finger heart, for expressing love or affection towards someone. It has been popularized by South Korean celebrities and K-pop stars. And now it finally comes to our mobile devices as well!

Hand-pushing emoji (Left and Right)

Hand-pushing emoji (Left and Right) The hand-pushing emoji can be used to signal that you want to stop something. It conveys the feeling of dismissal and rejection. Like other hand emojis, it is available in a range of skin tones as well. If you want to get creative with it, you can use the right and left-hand pushing emojis to make it look like they are high-fiving each other.

Shaking face emoji

Shaking face emoji One of the best emojis introduced this year has to be the shaking face emoji. It can be used to signal extreme shock or disbelief. Since this emoji is so over the top, people often use it sarcastically. Read Also: 2 Quick Ways to Change or Update the Time on a Fitbit (2023)

Conclusion

We would love to know which of these emoticons you liked the best. We would also feel glad if you shared with us the various contexts you plan to use these. Why not make our lives a little brighter by sharing a few laughs and emotions together, whether digitally or in reality?

WhatsApp is planning to add an edit messages function that will allow you to make changes to your messages even after they have been sent

WhatsApp has been discovered to be working on the ability to edit text messages allowing us to correct any typos. This will allow users to edit messages on WhatsApp after they have been sent without having to totally delete them from the conversation and start over. WhatsApp, on the other hand, has begun to accommodate varied skin tones for message reactions. The new feature is presently accessible to some WhatsApp for Android beta testers as part of the most recent beta release. WhatsApp is working on allowing users to edit their text messages in a future version after providing the ability to reply to messages as a new messaging feature. According to WABetaInfo WhatsApp has begun testing the ability for users to edit their text messages in chats. It would display in addition to the existing Info and Copy choices that appear when you long-press a text message in the app. WhatsApp is planning to add an edit messages function that will allow you to make changes to your messages even after they have been sent As per the report, WhatsApp’s ability to edit messages was first announced on Twitter 5 years ago, but WhatsApp removed it after a few days. Finally, WhatsApp is working on reintroducing the text message edit option. WABetaInfo has published a few screenshots to demonstrate how the edit option on WhatsApp would work. There will most likely be no edit history to review prior versions of modified messages, but as this feature is still in development, their plans may change before it is released. Furthermore, details concerning the time window during which users will be able to update their messages are yet unknown but once beta testing is completed, it may be released to the general public. WhatsApp is also working on allowing a variety of skin-tone emojis for reactions. Even though this screenshot is from the WhatsApp beta for Android, WhatsApp is working on bringing the same feature to the WhatsApp beta for iOS and Desktop. Separately WhatsApp is testing support for multiple skin tones for message reactions, in addition to working on the edit option. According to WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.13.4 has already been handed out to select users. According to the screenshots that have been posted, Folded Hands and Thumbs Up now have skin tones based on the most recently used skin tone emoji from our main emoji list. So, for example, if you recently submitted a Light Skin Tone Thumbs Up, it will appear in the reactions tray as well. Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Review: Superb Design With Great Camera Quality

We finally got our hands on one of Xiaomi’s latest smartphone models in India, the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G. The all-new Android 12 supporting mobile device offers 8GB/12GB RAM in combination with 128GB/256GB internal storage. It has a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset and an Octa-core processor. The phone is powered by a 4,600mAh battery, which supports 120W fast charging. Among the most highlighted features of the smartphone is its 50MP+50MP+50MP triple rear camera system along with a 32MP front camera. Although the specifications of the new Xiaomi 12 Pro seem exceptional, we dug in deeper to check whether it stands true to its name or not. Here is a complete review of the all-new Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G, covering (in detail) everything from its design to its CPU and camera performance.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Review: Design and Display

The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G comes riding in a huge rectangular box. Clearly visible from the size of the package is the care and support that the brand provides along with the smartphone. Apart from the mobile device, the contents of the package include a 120W adapter, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM eject tool, a transparent silicone case, a quick start guide as well as a Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter.  Xiaomi 12 Pro Curved Edges Upon opening the package, you’ll come face to face with the 6.73-inch shiny display of the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G, having an 89.6% screen-to-body ratio. The screen appears to be pretty large lengthwise. Picking up the device in your hands will make you forget all about its weight. The curved edges of its display will be the first thing that catches your eye. Yes, the all-new Xiaomi 12 pro 5G comes with a curved display. Its sleek surface turns sideways elegantly and lights up your mood, unlike anything. Moreover, the screen comes with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.  Back Cover Flip over the phone and you’ll be staring at its plastic back, which has a subtle glittery touch and a matte feel. The smartphone is offered in three colours in India, Couture Blue, Opera Mauve, and Noir Black. We were able to get our hands on its black colour model. The glitter sparkles quickly take the limelight when you take the phone for a night out. The rear triple camera system along with the flashlight is neatly fitted into the mount, which is body-coloured. The mount is divided into several compartments proportionally, to fit each camera and flashlight. This makes them appear as if they are resting in separate rooms, but you have a top cross-sectional view of their house.  Xiaomi 12 Pro Frame The frame of the smartphone is slightly darker than the body colour. On the right side lie the volume and power buttons while the left side is left blank. At the bottom lies its USB Type-C port, SIM card tray as well as one of the stereo speakers. The device does not come with a headphone jack, which Xiaomi compensates for by providing the customers with the Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. At its top lies the other of the two speakers and an LED charging indicator. Again, each feature on its exterior rests within its marked territory. Some may find this unique design highlight appealing while others may think the smartphone is better off without them. Bringing the phone to life has been made extremely hassle-free by the brand. Unlike other smartphones, which require you to undergo the initial setup process, the Xiaomi 12 Pro takes you directly to the home screen as soon as you long press the power button. This may appear a lot more convenient to many. The screen resolution is 1,440 x 3,200 pixels and the aspect ratio is 20:9, with about 521ppi density. The 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay immediately pleases the eye with its colourful lighting, brightness, and contrast balance. But when taken under direct sunlight, the screen brightness has to be set to at least 70-80% for it to be clearly legible.  The experience of watching videos on Youtube is very life-like. The video streaming quality can be upgraded to a maximum of 2,160 pixels at a rate of 60fps in HDR. The clarity offered is amazing, and so is the colour scheme and screen lighting. The curved edges of the smartphone along with its stereo audio system work in favour of providing an altogether cinematic experience. Watching movies and TV shows on Netflix was also commendable. The stereo audio of the Xiaomi 12 Pro works decently and complements the whole streaming process.  Xiaomi 12 Pro Gaming Experience Gaming on the smartphone was tested by playing Asphalt 9 Legends on it. The graphics quality is quite appreciable. The colours are vibrant and have a pop element in them. The touch experience is fluid and smooth while the response to the touch commands is swift. This, coupled with the stereo sound of the smartphone, takes the entire gaming experience to the next level.  Overall, the design of the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is modest. Speaking of it display, its curvy edges surely add a character of elegance to the smartphone, apart from enhancing the streaming experience. Although the brightness of the screen is impressive indoors, its outdoor intensity has a scope of augmenting.  Read also: iQOO Z6 Review: Great Design And Camera Quality At This Price

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Review: Performance and Cameras.

Elaborating further on the Xiaomi 12 Pro specifications, the device is offered with 8GB/12GB RAM in combination with 128GB/256GB internal memory. The nano dual-SIM supporting phone comes with a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) Octa-core processor and Adreno 730 GPU. It has a 4,600mAh battery capacity, which supports 120W fast charging. Wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging, is part of the package too. The phone can get fully charged in about half an hour via fast charging through a traditional wall socket. Overall, it has a good battery life. Upon mild usage, it can last for more than 2 days while upon moderate to heavy usage, it can last for about 1.5 days. Smartphone Home Screen and App Drawer Users get to enjoy Android 12 OS on the brand new smartphone with MIUI skin on top. The interface is pretty easy and efficient to use. Apps on the home screen come already classified within different folders based upon usage, which you can modify according to your personal requirements. The app drawer also categorises the apps based on their utility. Icons have a square shape and their size, look and feel is quite comfortable for usage. The screen appears vibrant and colourful while the touch is soft and fluid. The device, however, seems to get heated up easily even with moderate usage when under warm weather conditions found in New Delhi, India. The 4-speaker stereo audio system of the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is tuned by Harman Kardon. You would notice the Harman/Kardon branding on the top side of the frame as well. In terms of loudness, the audio works satisfactorily. Setting the sound to 70% or more would give you a majestic experience through the device. During gaming, the audio loudness sinks slightly to the lower side. However, we feel pumping the audio a little bit more could have made it even more thrilling.  Xiaomi 12 Pro Triple Camera System Coming to the Xiaomi 12 Pro camera review, it comes with a 50MP+50MP+50MP triple rear camera system along with a 32MP selfie camera. Six zoom modes are provided for its rear cameras, 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, and 20x. No zoom options are provided for the front camera. Moreover, zoom options are provided even with the Night Mode and the 50MP Mode for the rear camera. Videos can be recorded from the rear camera up to a whopping 8k resolution at a 24fps frame rate and in 4k at both 30fps and 60fps rates. From the front camera, recordings can be made with a resolution of up to 1080p at both 30fps and 60fps frame rates.
Smartphone Photo-Mode
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G: Rear Camera Photo Mode
A noteworthy point that can be highlighted as a huge plus of its rear triple-camera system is that the quality of the zoom modes continues to stay put up to at least 5x, without any compromise in the clarity of the image. The range of the zoom itself is appreciably deep as we move up on the scale. In the standard Photo mode from the rear camera, the colours in the frame appear bright and full of contrast, appealing to the eyes. The colour range is also pretty wide. The Portrait mode does its job well and enhances the image quality even more. The fineness in clarity of the captures deserves an applause. In bright light, shots appear vivid. Even if the natural lighting in the environment is slightly low, the camera automatically brightens up the images and adjusts colour saturation accordingly.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Portrait-Mode
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G: Portrait-Mode
The rear camera Pro mode lets you set the focus, ISO, lens, and a range of other factors according to your requirements. Tweaking these settings helps you capture the perfect image under any external conditions. The Night mode in the device is offered for both the front and the back cameras, and works up to the mark. In low light, from the rear camera, it increases the brightness of the colours in the frame to a great deal. Details are captured very well. The whites and blacks within the images are adjusted to good extents, based on the requirements of a particular colour shade. Overall, the shots appear quite captivating and attractive.
Photo-Mode Vs Night-Mode
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G: Photo Mode Vs Night Mode
The colour scheme in the selfie camera frame is bright and pleasant. Under well-lit conditions, especially indoors, the shots have commendable clarity. The selfies slightly soften your skin tone to enhance your overall looks, but makes it appear natural at the same time. The AI mode of the rear camera recognises the in-frame conditions and adjusts the settings accordingly. For example, the element of greens within the images increases in case foliage is being captured.  Overall, the camera package offered with the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is astounding.  Read also: OnePlus Nord CE 2 Review: Super Stylish Design With Excellent Performance

Verdict

It offers a sleek and elegant design with a pinch of glamour. The AMOLED display provides a delightful video streaming and gaming experience while its curvy edges add to your excitement. You get to enjoy the latest Android 12 OS features and the battery life of the smartphone is also commendable. Moreover, the quality of the camera package also speaks for itself.  The smartphone may need to tune up its sunlight legibility. The brand may also need to work on the issue of the heating of the device. But other than that, it is a wonderful choice to go for, although the price range might fall slightly on the higher side. Display Specifications for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been leaked: Details inside

Google announced the launch of its most affordable Pixel 6A at its I/O 2022 tech event. Alongside the new device, the company also teased the design of both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro which are scheduled to release later this year. Now the display specifications for Google’s forthcoming flagship smartphones have appeared online The smartphones are expected to have displays similar to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which were released last year. Google previewed its next-generation devices, revealing that they will be will feature the company’s next-generation Tensor SoC and will run on Android 13 out of the box. The display specifications for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, were leaked online ahead of their release later this year. The upcoming smartphones will have the same Samsung panels as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, according to code uncovered by 9to5Google in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). The Pixel 7’s display driver is called Cheetah, while the Pixel 7 Pro’s display driver is designated Panther. According to the source, these files expose the characteristics of forthcoming devices. The Pixel 7 will have a full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, similar to the Pixel 6, according to the code, which indicates that Samsung’s S6E3FC3 panel will be used. The display is expected to be significantly shorter than the Pixel 6, with height and width reduced by 2mm and 1mm, respectively. According to Google’s driver code, the Pixel 7 Pro will feature the same QHD+ display with 1,440 x 3,120 pixels of resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate as the Pixel 6 Pro, which was released last year. It is also said to use the same Samsung S6E3HC3 panel. The Pro variant, unlike the Pixel 7, will have the same screen as the previous model. The Pixel 7 Pro display drivers also hint that the top model may be able to display content in 1080p mode thanks to a recently discovered setting on Android 13. This may be utilised to allow Android to save power by rendering everything at 1080p and then converting it to 1440p using the panel’s “DDIC scaling.” While not as appealing to the eye, it’s likely that this is intended as an optional solution to save battery life, perhaps as part of Low Power Mode. Google’s forthcoming flagship smartphones, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, were also teased at the Google I/O keynote event. The devices will be powered by Google’s Tensor SoC and will come preloaded with Android 13.0, according to the company.
