So now one can easily switch to their local languages.
The news comes by way of Clubhouse’s official blog post. In the second phase of language localisation, the invitation-only audio-chat service has released thirteen new languages support. In addition to this, the new update has replaced The Feature Formerly Known As Interests to Topics. iQoo offers some great devices with not just excellent value for money but with terrific performance too. The new iQoo Z5 5G we reviewed is currently the most affordable 5G gaming smartphone available right now. The handset is the successor of the iQoo Z3, which is another gem in the company’s portfolio.
If you have not checked the smartphone (review), go check it out, but you are only allowed to do it after you have read our iQoo Z5 review. After an entire month of usage, here is the verdict if you should pick it up over all the other options available in the market.

iQoo Z5 5G Review: Design and Display
So let’s begin by talking about the design first. Frankly speaking, we were not particularly thrilled about the design, but what we liked the most is the matte finish on the rear panel, which helps keep fingerprints and smudges at bay. The rear panel is a bit slippery, so you have to guard it by using a protective case. In the top left corner is the rear triple rear camera set up, which is now larger than its predecessor.
Adding to that, the phone is not at all lightweight. Yes, it is a bulky phone as it weighs around 193gms, attributed to the big battery it packs in. The frame and the rear panel are plastic, but they seem durable and have been curved from the sides, making the phone comfortable to use and hold.
iQoo has opted for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which sits on the right side of the frame while the volume key sits just above it. The tactile feedback of the button is okay, while the fingerprint scanner unlocks the phone pretty fast too.
On this device, you do get a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, while at the bottom, there is a SIM tray, a USB Type-C port, and the bottom-firing speaker.
The iQoo Z5 5G sports a 6.67-inch full HD+ LCD display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels of resolution. The screen also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 support, a DCI-P3 colour gamut and offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen also has a TUV Rheinland rating and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a hole-punch notch at the top, while the bezels on the sides are slim, but the bottom chin is thicker.
Getting to the display’s performance, we wonder why the company is still sticking with the IPS LCD display. Though this is of decent quality, the company should have gone for an OLED display. The colours look vibrant and neat. But we noticed a hint of pink tint all around. The device does have Widewine L1 certification, but its HDR 10 compatibility could have been better.
Actually, you can only play HDR videos on YouTube, yes it is not supported on OTT platforms. The screen is quite bright and offers 480 nits of peak brightness, but the phone struggles outdoors under direct sunlight. In terms of viewing angles, the saturation level dips when seen from the sides, so it i.e. meant for single person use.
The 120Hz refresh rate support is well optimised and is buttery smooth. The display can switch between 60 to 120Hz depending on the content that is being played on the phone. This is complemented by a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which enhances the gaming and typing experience. In the end, the display left us with a mixed bag of emotions.
iQoo Z5 5G Review: Performance and camera
On the performance side of things, the iQoo Z5 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with an Adreno 642L GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This combination makes it the cheapest 5G smartphone shipping with the 778 chipset.
Everything on the device feels snappy, and you won’t be disappointed at all as it is so quick and responsive. We were amazed by its multitasking results. The phone can keep a maximum number of apps in the memory for a longer duration, and we didn’t notice any lag either.
On the gaming front, Call of Duty: Mobile is playable at the highest setting and we did not experience any lag or stutters. Even Battlegrounds Mobile India ran smoothly on the device. So, all in all, the gaming experience is quite good on the iQoo Z5.
Talking about the software, the handset runs on Origin OS 1.0 on top of Android 11. It comes with tonnes of features, but again, we really hated the bloatware it comes loaded with. Of course, you can uninstall them, but what’s the need here? Moving ahead, day-to-day usage is flawless.
In terms of endurance, this smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W flash charge fast charging support. We absolutely love the charging speed here. The battery lasted an entire day while we watched videos, browsed social media, and played games.
It takes about an hour and a half to fully charge the 44W power brick.
Coming to the cameras, the iQoo Z5 5G includes a triple rear camera set-up that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. The set-up also housed an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.
standard modePortrait Mode
If we talk about the cameras, you will find a similar camera system as seen on its previous edition, which is the iQoo Z3. The camera offers similar performance to its predecessor. The daytime shots are well detailed. The photos sometimes looked flatter and the colours looked dull, though. The same goes with the ultra-wide images. The portrait shots were good enough, with great dynamic range. However, this lacks details at times, and you have to click a few times to get the desired shot. If you are someone who enjoys taking macro shots, then you can look somewhere else as we would consider the macro lens a sub-par one.
macro mode
Ultra-Wide
Again, low light images were dull and the colour did not pop out well. The images produced look soft as well. Even turning on night mode will not get satisfactory results.
64MP mode
In terms of selfies, the edge detection is accurate, but you would need to edit images as we found them to be less vibrant and they looked pale. The 4K videos at 30fps lacked stabilisation, but that is enabled in 1080p at 60fps resolution.
The subject appeared a little faded in the selfie videos at 1080p@30fps, and the background exposure was not very good. The audio quality, on the other hand, sounds sharp.
Conclusion
Overall, the iQoo Z5 5G is a solid mid-range 5G phone. The device performs well, but the IPS display disappointed us due to its low outdoor brightness. Other brands are offering OLED displays in this price range. Cameras needed a facelift, too. So, overall we were left with a mixed bag of emotions. If you do not mind an LCD screen, but want a superb gaming experience/performance, you can think of picking this smartphone up.

Play has been a good part of the Indian audio segment for quite a few years now. The latest from the company is a pair of behind the neck wireless earphones called PlayGo N37. We played around with them for some time and this is what we could make of the new earphones. This is the PlayGo N37 review, which you should go through in case you want to pick up a new wireless audio earplugs.
In This Article
PlayGo N37 review: Design
Pull them out of the box and you find a black rubberised band to which 2 yellow cables are connected. At each end, you find a golden yellow audio earphone, which has a black silicone tip and grip to keep them in place of your ear cavity. Users also get 2 extra silicone tips for different ear types in the PlayGo N37 box.
The battery is placed within the rubber neckband. The right side of the band has the on/off push button, volume up and down as well as play/pause music buttons. This also doubles up as a call answer/reject button, too. If you long-press it, you can activate voice assistants like Google Assistant. USB Type-C charging port can also be found here, neatly tucked behind a rubber panel. For charging a short cable is also given in the box. The overall material used on the PlayGo N37 is good for the price.
PlayGo N37 review: Performance
The PlayGo N37 works with any BT device, as it supports Bluetooth version up to 5.0. We tested it out with a lot of devices including a Samsung smartphone as well as our laptop. The sound is very nice. For the value, the bass is good and voice clarity is superb. We played songs from Spotify as well as Amazon Music and not once did we feel they were underpowered. The earbuds are also magnetic so you can clasp them together magnetically in the neck and they will not fall off.
While the company says the 100mAh battery lasts for 10 hours on the PlayGo N37, on our test bench it lasted for almost 9 hours, which is not bad at all. Over that, these earphones support fast charging. If you have a 35W fast charger, you can charge them for 10 minutes and can get 3 hours of playback. Also, these earphones have IPX5 waterproof rating. It means they will not get ruined in the rain or from your sweat.
Verdict
At Rs 2,999 the PlayGo N37 earphones are not bad at all. We took them out for a run and to the gym, and we were quite happy with their performance. If you are looking for a budget wireless earphone, you can think of picking these up. If you are able to get a discount on them, then it will be even better.
In India, Uber and WhatsApp have signed a collaboration making it possible to book an Uber ride in the company’s official WhatsApp chatbot. The integration will make booking an Uber ride as simple as sending a WhatsApp message, which is a first for Uber.
Talking about the partnership, Nandini Maheshwari, Sr. Director, Business Development, Uber APAC said, “We want to make it as easy as possible for all Indians to take an Uber trip, and to do that we need to meet them on platforms they are comfortable with. Our partnership with WhatsApp does just that, giving riders a new way to get a ride through a simple, familiar and trusted channel. We are thrilled at this global-first integration for Uber, and look forward to rolling it out across India.”
This partnership is said to be based on the WhatsApp Business Platform and will increase access to Uber’s mobility. According to the company it is being piloted in Lucknow, India’s northernmost city, and will be expanded to other Indian cities in the near future.
Riders will no longer need to download or use the Uber app as a result of this integration. The WhatsApp chat interface will be used to manage everything from user registration to booking a ride and receiving a trip receipt.
Uber will be providing the same safety benefits and insurance coverage as those who book trips directly through the Uber app. They will be informed of the driver’s name and licence plate upon booking; they will be able to track the driver’s location en-route to the pickup point, and they will be able to communicate with the driver anonymously via a masked number.
Aso the rider will be informed about safety guidelines via WhatsApp, including how to contact Uber in the event of an emergency (type help on-trip). The user will receive an inbound call from Uber’s customer support team if they select the “emergency” option while on the trip. Until 30 minutes after the trip ends, Uber riders will have access to the company’s safety line number, which they can call if necessary.
Uber drivers, on the other hand, will continue to have the same experience with rides booked through WhatsApp. As of now the option to book a ride via WhatsApp is currently only available in English but soon it will be expanded to other Indian languages. Additionally, new and existing Uber users with only a phone number can use the service.
How to book an Uber ride via WhatsApp?
Message Uber’s business account number.
Scan a QR code directly opening and Uber chat by clicking a link
Now you will be asked to provide pick up and drop off locations after that.
Furthermore, users will be given upfront fare information as well as the driver’s estimated arrival time.

While crypto traders and investors usually look to benefit from selling digital assets at higher prices than they bought them, they could also earn a good yield from interest on their coins. It’s possible to earn BUSD and grow your wealth if you deposit your BUSD coin with a reliable exchange. In some cases, BUSD can earn interest at a rate of up to 12.3% APY. Therefore, the BUSD is a tremendous digital coin to invest in to earn interest.
In This Article
A look at BUSD
BUSD is collateralized crypto created by the Binance Exchange. The company behind its development claims that the BUSD stablecoins have their value pegged to the USD at a 1:1 ratio. This means that one BUSD is approximately equal to one American dollar.
As is the case with many other stablecoins, the key function of the BUSD is to provide an easier platform to enable people to swap crypto on DEFI ecosystems without needing to convert them to fiat currencies first. BUSD is a stablecoin with a good reputation because it has gained regulatory approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).
BUSD, Binance, and Paxos cooperated in the development process needed to make it happen, and the stablecoin is available on ERC-20 and BEP-20 blockchains. As it stands, Paxos plays the role of the official issuer and custodian of Binance USD.
How to earn BUSD interest
You can earn BUSD interest by following a few quick steps. You will then be able to increase your crypto holding and wealth in general. All you need is to deposit the stablecoin with a reliable exchange such as YouHodler. If you decide to use YouHodler to earn some BUSD interest, you need to do the following:
Register on YouHodler or log into your YouHodler account if you already have one. It is pretty simple to do this because you can use the web, or Android/iOS apps versions.
Once you have your account, you need to deposit BUSD to your BUSD wallet.
You can then watch and get BUSD to earn for your interest, of up to 10% APR plus compound interest.
Benefits of earning BUSD interest
It is a far better option to let your BUSD investment earn you interest than keep it idle in your crypto wallet. Luckily, several platforms, including YouHodler, can pay you interest if you deposit your BUSD with them. This way, you get free BUSD.
If you are not yet convinced that earning BUSD interest is a good deal, here are some of the main reasons you need to give it some thought:
You earn passive income
Have you ever heard people talking about getting your money working for you? Well, when you decide to let your BUSD earn interest for you, that is precisely what you will be doing. You do not have to toil to achieve this. You only need to open a BUSD interest account, and you will start to receive a passive income which could help ease your financial worries. You will happily dream as your wealth multiplies as you sleep when you have Binance USD savings account with reliable platforms like YouHodler, Celsius, and BlockFi.
It is a low-risk venture
If you are a risk-averse investor, then resorting to earning BUSD interest may be a better option than many other interest-earning investment schemes. BUSD generates interest for those HODLing it on or in savings accounts providers sharing a portion of their interest income with investors who have savings accounts with them. The companies that offer BUSD savings accounts make money by loaning out depositors BUSD to borrowers. The good news is that the majority of crypto loan providers require collateral to reduce default risks.
The earning procedure is pretty simple
Perhaps you tend to shy away from the majority of investment options due to their complexity. Luckily, to get your BUSD earning interest and grow your wealth is one of the most straightforward ways to make money. The moment you sign up for a BUSD savings account and deposit some funds in the form of Binance USD, the process of accumulating interest kicks off immediately. The process is straightforward because you only need to select a trusted interest-bearing account provider, open an account and verify the account. After that, you deposit some BUSD, and you can watch as the BUSD earns you more free BUSD.
It makes better returns
The biggest problem with conventional savings accounts is that the interest rates they pay are not worth talking about because their interest rates are near zero. However, BUSD interest rates are impressive on some of the platforms. For example, YouHodler pays 10% APR and, on top of that, you get compound interest if you let your interest payouts remain in the account.
Reasons to Choose YouHodler as your platform to earn BUSD interest
Although there are several platforms where you can earn BUSD interest, YouHodler is one of the best exchanges to get your BUSD, earn free BUSD and increase your wealth. This exchange is among the best Fintech platforms where investors enjoy services including HODLing, converting, lending, and multiplying digital currencies.
Some of the benefits you stand to enjoy when you use YouHodler to earn BUSD interest include:
Instant deposits as well as withdrawals
A return of 10% on your BUSD deposits, plus compounding interests
Highest security in the industry related to handling and transacting your digital currencies.
Transparent fees and the best fee structure for all your dealings
Weekly interest payouts that can be in cryptocurrencies or stablecoins
Conclusion
Earning BUSD interest is one of the best ways to multiply your wealth. However, you should not assume that it is risk-free because the interest you get comes from the borrowers the platforms lend to. While most platforms mitigate default risks by over-collateralizing the loans to the borrowers, some may not. If they fail to take proper precautions, they could lose the money lent out and end up not paying you your interest or even losing the money you deposited. Thus, you should be cautious when choosing a platform. Show some due diligence and check the reviews of the platforms to ensure you use a safe and reliable platform.

When it comes to the game of cricket, there is no disputing that the IPL dominates. For Indians, cricket has always been the most popular sport, but what has happened with the IPL has seen this taken to another level. There are now fans around the world andIPL cricket is now up there with other top sports in terms of the gambling market that has emerged. When people start wagering significant amounts on a sport then you know that it is popular!
What has the IPL done though to achieve this roaring success? How has it taken the league out of just India and presented it to the world as the go-to cricketing tournament? Let’s take a look.
In This Article
The right format
We all remember the traditional form of cricket. Of course, it still exists and it still has its fans, but test cricket has always struggled to attract new fans. Then a match was played over a number of days and a series could go on forever. Younger fans didn’t want to wait weeks for an outcome. They wanted to know who had won. When they wagered on a game they wanted to know if they’d won now not days down the line. The truth is, test cricket was all a little bit boring!
When the T20 format was first launched it was met with scorn by traditionalists who claimed that it just wasn’t cricket. The IPL embraced the format. One that saw a match over in hours rather than days and played at a pace that would keep fans interested.
The TV deals
For the IPL to succeed in terms of popularity then the game needs to be seen. This was taken care of by some great deals allowing companies to televise all of the action. With how popular is in India, it is perhaps unsurprising that almost half of the population tune in to enjoy all that the IPL has to offer. What may surprise you though is the interest elsewhere.
Take the UK for instance. Viewing figures are now reaching the millions. People love the format of the game and they love the fact that, unlike the EPL, the matches are not pay per view. This has seen IPL matches being more popular than some of the EPL ones in recent times. So technology is taking it to the next level all around the globe.
Also, the reach of mobile phones has increased allowing users to consume cricketing events from anywhere. Just subscribe to an OTT platform like Hotstar and you will be able to watch IPL anywhere using your smartphone.
A touch of America
The Americans know how to do things big. They know how to put on a show and they know how to grab attention. The IPL seemed to have taken a leaf out of America’s book as it made attempts to make itself the greatest show on earth. Suddenly attending an IPL game wasn’t just about cricket: it was a whole experience.
You can expect cheerleaders, dancers, Bollywood music, and a great atmosphere. You’d be forgiven for thinking that you’d made a wrong turn and were somehow at the NFL!
Money talks
What the IPL has managed to do is assemble a collection of the world’s greatest cricketers all pitting against each other in the greatest league on the planet. What has brought a swathe of international players to the IPL? There is no doubt a love of the game, but there is also little doubt that then money has helped.
In the IPL, players are getting paid record fees. It is not uncommon to be earning well over $1 million and the likes of Virat Kohli and David Warner are sure to be earning more. With the top talent being attracted from around the world, the IPL audience will continue to grow.
