Tecno Spark 6 Air 64GB storage option now available via Amazon

Transsion holding brand, Tecno Mobile, has launched a 3GB RAM with a 64GB storage option for Tecno Spark 6 Air in India. This is the third variant to come after 3GB RAM with 32GB storage model which was launched later last month. Originally the smartphone came to India in a single 2GB RAM variant which was officially introduced in July this year. It has a 7-inch display, 6,000mAh battery and runs on HIOS 6.2 OS. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. Read on to know more about the new variant’s pricing and availability details.

The Tecno Spark 6 Air is now available in other storage options. It now comes in a 3GB RAM with 64GB storage options and the price for this has been set at Rs 8,699. The smartphone comes in Cloud White, Comet black, and Ocean Blue colour options.  This is going to be up for sale in the country vis Amazon starting September 25.

In addition to these two more variants are offered by the company 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage option at Rs 8,499 while the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage model is available with a price tag of Rs 7,999. Both these variants are available in two colour options Comet Black and Ocean Blue.

Tecno Spark 6 Air comes with a 7-inch HD+ Dot-Notch display with 720×1,640 pixels of resolution. It offers a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.6 percent screen to body ratio with a peak brightness of 480 nits. It runs on HIOS 6.2 on top of Android 10 (Go edition). Under the hood, there is a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. The phone comes with a dedicated card slot to expand the memory to 1TB using a microSD card.

Tecno Spark 6 Air features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Further assisted by a 2-megapixel depth sensor with quad flash. While on the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture with dual front flash. The camera set up can record slow-motion videos at 120 fps with additional features such as document scanner, body shaping feature and Google and lens with auto scene detection, augmented reality (AR) mode as well as bokeh mode.

The device houses a massive 6,000mAh battery. For connectivity, there is 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and more. The sensor on the phone includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

Recently Xiaomi launched Poco X3 NFC globally. The device is yet to be announced in India, but before its launch in the country, the company has planned to bring its toned-down variant to the Indian market first. Today via virtual launch event the company is going to unveil Poco X3 in the country which is also the successor of Poco X2 that is already popular amongst gamers not only for having gaming features but it is economical also. While some of the reports suggest that the upcoming phone is the Indian variant the NFC model was launched earlier this month only but with slight changes. How to watch the Livestream

The Poco X3 launch is set for today that will be live-streamed via the company’s official YouTube channel across all its social media channels. The event will take off at noon onwards. Also, the device will go on sale via the e-commerce website Flipkart. However, the company has not revealed the pricing but the device is speculated to be cheaper than the NFC variant. To recall Poco X3 NFC has been launched in the European market starting at EUR 229 that translates to Rs 19,900 for the 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage model whereas the 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage variant has been priced at EUR 269 that translates to Rs 23,400. It comes in two colour options Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey.

Poco X3 expected specifications

Previous leaks suggest that Poco X3 is going to be offered in an 8GB RAM variant that will run Android 10. The device was spotted with a model number Xiaomi M2007J20CI. It has also hinted at the ‘karna’ processor which is expected to be a Snapdragon 732G SoC. Moreover, Poco X3 would come with a bigger battery. In addition to this, the teasers suggest it to have a quad rear camera setup and a hole-punch display to house a selfie camera. While most of the specs will be similar to the NFC variant.

Poco X3 is likely to have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display, a quad rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.73 aperture. The camera system is further assisted by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 119-degree of Field of View with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture for taking portrait shots and lastly a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling the smartphone has a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

After teasing OnePlus 8T for more than 24 hours in India. The company has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone. The launch is now set for October 14 in the country. This came just after the release of the Amazon teaser. The company’s ‘T’ series of smartphones is an upgrade over its current flagship with new features and design changes. The device is usually launched in September but Coronavirus has caused some production issues so the company has to delay the launch of the device, just like the iPhone 12.

OnePlus 8T launch details for India

The launch of the OnePlus 8T in India is set for October 14. This has been announced through the Amazon created a microsite to tease the availability of the upcoming phone. The launch will take place through a virtual launch event that will kick off at 7.30 PM that is going to be live-streamed via the company’s official website including social media accounts via its official YouTube channel in the country.

As the e-commerce website teases the online availability of the OnePlus 8T it is confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase via Amazon only.

OnePlus Founder and CEO Pete Lau said in his statement said, “With the upcoming OnePlus 8T, we are once again raising the bar for ourselves in terms of the overall user experience, thanks to some new features that we are excited to introduce for the first time in a OnePlus device. I am confident that the OnePlus 8T will once again exceed expectations and deliver an unparalleled flagship experience.”

While a previous report by a tipster last week also hinted that the OnePlus 8T launch might have been delayed to later this month or for October 14. According to the tipster, the production issues caused by pandemic coronavirus forced the company to delay the launch. For quite a few years the company has been following a similar timeline to launch its T series of flagship devices.  To recall OnePlus 7T was also launched on September 26 last year but not this time all thanks to the pandemic.

OnePlus 8T expected specifications

Reports suggest that OnePlus 8T is expected to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will have two modes to choose from — 60Hz and 120Hz — with the latter selected out of the box.

The device is expected to be powered by  Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC for its best performance coupled with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. On the software front, the phone will run on the OxygenOS 11 built on the latest Android 11.

On the imaging front, it is suggested to be upgraded to a quad-camera setup from the triple camera set up on the existing model.  There will be a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While on the front it is expected to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, it might have a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Wrap Charge fast charging tech.

The Chinese smartphone company Realme today took the wraps of Realme Narzo 20 series in India. The line of smartphones is the successor of Narzo 10 which arrived in the country this May. The new series includes Realme Narzo 20, Narzo 20A, and Narzo 20 Pro. that comes with The Pro variant comes with 5G support and 65W fast charging as well as 90Hz refresh rate panel. In addition to this, it has a punch hole design display and runs on Realme UI 2.0 OS. While the other devices feature a waterdrop-style display and triple cameras on the back of the phone.

Realme Narzo 20 series price and availability

Realme Narzo 20 will be available in two storage and single RAM options. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage comes at Rs 10,499 while the 128GB storage is priced at Rs 11,499. Narzo 20A will be available at Rs 8,499 for the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage will be available with a price tag of Rs 9,499. Both Narzo 20 and 20A will be available in two colour options Glory Silver and Victory Blue. The Pro variant is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage option while the 8GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage comes at Rs 16,999. This smartphone will be offered in two colour options Black Ninja and White Knight colours. 

In terms of availability, the Narzo 20 will go on its first sale on September 20 at 12 PM while the 20A will be available from September 30 at 12 noon onwards. The Pro variant is scheduled to go on sale on September 25 this week. All the smartphones can be purchased via e-commerce website Flipkart, Realme.com as well as offline stores in the country.

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo today has launched a new smartphone in the market. The company has introduced Oppo Reno 4 SE which is the company’s latest addition to the family of Reno 4 Series which also includes Reno 4, Reno 4 Pro, and Reno 4 Pro Artist Limited Edition. The SE comes with support for 65W fast charging and an OLED panel. Moreover, it has 5G support along with a triple rear camera set up.

Oppo Reno 4 SE price and availability

Oppo Reno 4 SE has been introduced in the company’s home market China. There it will be available in two different configurations of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at CNY 2,499 that translates to Rs 27,100. While the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model comes at CNY 2,799 that translates to Rs 30,400. The device will be offered in multiple colour variants of Super Flash Black, Super Flash Blue, and Super Flash White. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in the country this week starting September 25. The retailers in China have already started taking the reservations of the device prior to its official launch.  Until now there is no word from the company whether this phone will make its way to the international market including India.

Recently an OnePlus 8T was tipped to launch in October next month. While some suggested it will be coming later this month whereas some said we would not see the phone this year as the company has planned not to launch the smartphone. Keeping all the rumours and leaks aside, OnePlus India has confirmed that the device is definitely coming to the market and similar to last year this time also OnePlus 8T is hoped to make its global debut in India first.

The company took to Twitter to tease the OnePlus 8 T 5G via its official OnePlus India handle which prompts “OnePlus 8T 5G Coming Soon”. In addition to this, the company has also created an event page for the same letting users to sign up to get notified. According to the dedicated page, those who sign up for the to get notified will surely stand a chance to win n exclusive prizes including an OnePlus 8T 5G or a free Bullets Wireless voucher or 5 percent off on the accessories with the phone order. Alongside the company has also shared a short video teaser featuring Robert Downey Jr.. However, the phone is not seen in the teaser video but it says OnePlus 8T is coming soon.

That unaware OnePlus 8T is an upgrade over the company’s latest flagship line that would have some major design changes which the company traditionally launch in September but this time it is speculated to launch on October 14. Alongside the smartphone, the company is also expected to bring a new set of TWS earphones. The company is working on its cheaper version of Buds that is the OnePlus Buds Z which is going to be an offshoot of the OnePlus Bus that is the company’s first truly wireless earbuds launched this July. Otherwise, there is no clarity about the TWS earbuds nor the company has yet confirmed the actual launch date of OnePlus 8T.

In the past, the leaks suggested that the device is expected to have a redesigned rear camera module. The circular camera module is said to be replaced with a rectangular L-shaped camera module repositioned to the top left corner. There will be four cameras on the back which might include a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is suggested to have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera placed inside a hole-punch display at the top left corner of the screen.

The phone is expected to come with a full-HD+ 6.55-inch display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. It is speculated to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC and will be available in two different configurations of 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of onboard storage. The Narzo 10 series consisted of two devices, a standard variant and Narzo 10A but this time the company has planned to launch three new devices Narzo 20, Pro variant and 20A. Narzo 20he launch will take place via virtual event today that will commence at 12.30 noon onwards. The event will be aired across all the social media channels including Twitter and Facebook via the company’s official YouTube channel.

Rumours suggest that Realme Narzo 20 Pro is expected to feature a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 90Hz refresh rate support with 90.5 per cent. screen-to-body ratio. The device is likely to have a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The phone is said to be offered in two colour options Black Ninja and White Knight. For optics, the Pro variant is likely to include a quad rear camera setup consisting of a  48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a  2-megapixel black and white portrait lens. For selfies, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Moreover, it should pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

On the other hand Realme Narzo 20A is said to be similar to the vanilla variant. It is said to include a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels, 89.8 percent screen to body ratio protected with Gorilla Glass layering. It is most likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage option that can be expanded with the help of microSD card. As per the leaked YouTube video the smartphone will run on Realme UI based on Android 10 and will be available in two colour options Glory Silver and Victory Blue. ‘For photos, 20A is suggested to include a triple rear camera setup having a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel black and white lens and a 2-megapixel retro lens. On the front, it might include an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Last but not the least Realme Narzo 20 is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB of storage options that can be further expanded via microSD card. The phone is speculated to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution and 88.7 percent screen to body ratio. Amazon has introduced Hindi support on Alexa app that is available to millions of ndroid or iOS smartphones users in India. All one has to do is follow the simple path:

  1. Open the Alexa app on their device
  2. Now click on Settings
  3. Tap on Alexa on this phone
  4. Select ‘हिंदी’ from available languages

Mind you! Amazon Alexa is the brain that powers Amazon Echo devices. The company has added more than 60 new features since launching Hindi support to Alexa in the past year.

Asserting that India’s unique cultural and linguistic diversity has always inspired us to make Alexa more local and relevant for users in the country, Puneesh Kumar, Country Leader for Alexa, Amazon India, said, “Introducing Hindi made Alexa accessible to hundreds of millions of native Hindi speakers. We have made several improvements in Natural Language Understanding. For example, Alexa was not able to understand words like ‘dhai’ & ‘tham jaa’ in the beginning, but now she does.  Similarly, we will continue to make Alexa interactions in Hindi even more seamless and conversational.”

Alexa’s Hindi support in India, Amazon had announced that customers in India can ask, “Alexa, hamari dosti par poem sunao”. Amazon has also added 6 new Alexa original songs and poems, along with 20 new stories in Hindi. For instance, say “Alexa, kuch gungunao”, “Alexa, cloud rap sunao”, “Alexa, cricket story sunao”, or “Alexa, dosti ki kahani sunao”.

With improvements in Alexa’s Speech Science, it can now understand 50 different ways to play a particular song in Hindi. The Alexa Speech Science team has used the latest advances in deep neural networks, multi-dialect training, and semi-supervised learning to reduce Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) errors by more than 40 percent since the launch of Hindi last year. Moreover, Alexa is now equipped with hundreds of new words from Hindi vocabulary and is also able to understand different ways in which customers can ask for the same information. Such initiatives led to a 30% improvement in NLU accuracy. For instance: Alexa can support a wide range of requests such as “Alexa, mere orders dikhao”, “Alexa, mera samaan ka update kya hai?”, “Alexa, meri samagri kitni door hai?”, and “Alexa, mera package kab milega?”

Furthermore, Amazon customers can enjoy interacting with Alexa as it gets hundreds of thousands of requests in Hindi and Hinglish. Mind you! Popular requests in Hindi include the convenience of using voice to play music, ask questions, read the news, set timers and alarms, check the calendar, provide sports scores, control lights at home, watch videos on Echo devices with a screen, and much more. At least one customer says “I love you” to Alexa every minute. Alexa also gets at least one marriage proposal that is “Mujse shaadi karogi?” each minute.

Besides earlier launched Hindi skills like: GaneshaSpeaks, All India Radio, RedFM, Sanjeev Kapoor Recipes, Art of Living, Sadhguru, and Amar Chitra Katha, there are over 1000 Hindi Skills. These include Audible Suno, Ramayan Katha, Devotional Stories by Hungama, Shilpa Shetty Yoga, Jungle Safari, Kabir’s Dohe, Rekhta, Hindi Jokes and so on. Customers can get advice, receive guidance, and learn about new products directly from Apple, both in English and Hindi.

The Apple Store online offers a range of affordability options with financing options and an available trade-in program. Students can shop for a Mac or iPad with special pricing, and receive discounts on accessories and AppleCare+.

Moreover, Apple customers can expect free online Today at Apple sessions led by local Creative Pros that is focused on photography and music in the month of October. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is set to get launched on September 23. Ahead of its official launch, the device has appeared several times on the internet revealing its key specs. Recently it was briefly listed on the company’s website and was also discovered on TENAA tipped to sport a 120Hz refresh rate panel. Those unaware this device is the toned-down variant of the Galaxy S20 smartphone and as the launch is coming closer the leaks have gathered momentum. In a new development, live images of the smartphone have now surfaced on the web along with its key specification.

Tipster Jimmy is Promo via its Twitter handle has shared some of the exclusive live images of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE revealing the front as well as the back-design aspects of the upcoming smartphone. The hands-on images suggest a flat display with sleek bezels. While the back of the phone suggests a triple rear camera setup similar to its sibling donning a greyish black colour finish along with all the physical buttons positioned at the right side of the device. Alongside the images, the tipster has also shared key specifications of the S20 FE. However, the company has not yet revealed the name of the smartphone but the leaked images have confirmed that it will be called Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G that will run One UI 2.5 on top of Android 10.

It is tipped to carry a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The upcoming phone is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The rear camera set up will support 3x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom and the selfie camera is said to have a resolution of 32-megapixel positioned inside a punch-hole design display.

Recently the device was also spotted on the South Korean company’s German website which showed the front as well as the back of the phone bearing the model number SM-G7818/DS. It features a hole-punch display akin to the S20 series. In a similar way, the device was also spotted on the Philippines website suggesting Cloud Navy and Cloud Lavendar colour options. Moreover, it also revealed that the phone will be offered with 128GB of storage option. Later on, it was listed on the Chinese regulatory website TENAA also on NBTC suggesting a 6.5-inch display and 4,500mAh battery with 15W wired charging support.

Previous reports claim that Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will have a 6.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display sensor. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC for 5G support whereas the 4G variant will have Exynos 990 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. For the optics, there will be a triple rear camera set up on the phone speculated to have dual 12-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel camera. While on the front is most likely to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It is speculated to pack a 4,500mAh battery along with a 15W fast charger.

OnePlus 8T might launch on October 14, report suggests

Recently the OnePlus 8T was spotted listed on the company’s official website. This smartphone was amongst the five unannounced devices whose guides were accidentally put up on the company’s website. 8T is expected to launch by the end of September or in the first week of October. But in a new development, a rumour suggests the OnePlus 8T debut will be delayed by several weeks all thanks to coronavirus. The Pandemic has caused some production issues therefore the launch will happen sometime in mid-October.

According to a report by MySmartPrice citing info from tipster Ishan Agarwal hints at the delay in the launch of the OnePlus 8T. Due to production issues caused by pandemic coronavirus the company is now planning the release for October 14. However, this is not the confirmed date for the launch as there could be last-minute changes in the timeline amid coronavirus. Until now the company has not made its official announcement with regard to the OnePlus 8T but the launch will be held virtually similar to OnePlus 8 and Nord. OnePlus generally launched its T series smartphone in the month of September. Last year OnePlus 7T was also launched alongside its first Android TVs namely OnePlus TV Q1 series.

In the past, we came across several leaks and rumours regarding the launch, specs and render. One of the recent leaks is that guides of the five unannounced devices were accidentally listed on the company’s official website.  First spotted by tipster Evan Blass, the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 8T Pro, OnePlus Nord 100, OnePlus Nord 105g, and another device with model number SS9805 accidentally went live on its website. However, the company stays tight-lipped on the upcoming ‘T’ series smartphone but guides confirm the presence of the device.

While the leaked renders hints that 8T will carry an L-shaped quad rear camera setup. Upfront there might be a curved 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an LED flash and a hole punch on to house a selfie camera on the top left corner of the screen. The device is said to be supported by 120Hz of refresh rate. The handset is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 865+ processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as well as 12GB RAM with 256GB storage options.

On the imaging front, it is suggested to come with a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While on the front it is expected to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, it might have a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Wrap Charge fast charging tech.

America-based company Garmin has expanded its wearable portfolio by launching its latest premium smartwatch. Garmin Forerunner 745 smartwatch has been introduced in the US. The device comes with a colour display and delivers a longer battery life. It has an advanced GPS for the elite runners who watch out for detailed training data and more. Other than Garmin connects it can easily be synced with other training apps such as TrainingPeaks and TrainingRoad. The Garmin smartwatch also supports Garmin Coach that offers free training plans for better performance.

In addition to this, the Forerunner 745 is also capable of receiving on-device running and cycling daily workout suggestions based on the user’s current training load and VO2 max. Along with  Running Dynamics Pod or compatible heart rate strap like the new HRM-Pro allows viewing six running metrics – including cadence, stride length and more – right on the watch. 

Not only this it has advanced dynamics to help with cycling and swim training, whereas when on the bike it will track the data such as left/right balance, time seated and standing, platform center offset and power phase. For the swimmers and water sports it will let them track distance, stroke, pace, personal records and more.

The smartwatch also carries the improved recovery time feature helping the athletes know how long to rest before a hard training session. Another important factor has also been taken care of that impacts recovery including all-day stress, sleep and daily activities, and will adjust the recovery time on the watch.

“Before heading out for a run or ride, athletes can plan and download routes using the course creator in Garmin Connect, which uses Trendline popularity routing to provide the best road, trail, or mountain routes that are aggregated from those most traveled by fellow runners and cyclists. Also, there is a menstrual cycle tracking feature that will help women adjust their training to maximize improvement potential and plan for upcoming races based on where they are in their cycle.

Xbox Series X and Series S pre-order to kick off on September 22 globally, the online retailer announced for India

Recently Microsoft announced the pricing and availability details of the Xbox Series X and Series S for India. Now both the latest gaming consoles will go live for pre-order in the country on September 22 in the country announced by the company. According to Microsoft, consumers can pre-book their devices via leading e-commerce websites in India.

After announcing the price and availability details of the Xbox Series X and Series S in India, Microsoft India will be announcing discounts and financing options available during the pre-order sometime later. In India Xbox Series X will be available at Rs 49,990 and the Xbox Series S will cost Rs 34,990. Both the gaming consoles are scheduled to get launched in India on November 10 while the pre-order will commence from September 22 at 9 AM IST. The pre-bookings will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital’s online store.

Apart from India, the company has also announced the global price details of Xbox Series X and Series S for the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In the US, Series X is going to cost $499 that translates to Rs 36,600 while the Series S is priced at $299 which comes around Rs 22,000. The launch and pre-orders details are similar to India where the pre-orders will begin at 8 am PT / 11 am ET via Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Newegg and others.

In Canada, the pre-order will go live at 8 am PT / 11 am ET on Microsoft Store, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, The Source, and others. There the price of the Xbox Series X and Series S has been set at CA$599 (approx Rs 33,400) and CA$379 (approx Rs 21,200) respectively.

In the UK, Xbox Series X and Series S pre-orders will go live at 8 am BST via Microsoft Store, GAME, Amazon, Dixons, Currys PC World, Argos, John Lewis, Smyths Toys, VERY, AO, Tesco, Simply Game, Shopto and others. There it will cost £449 (approx Rs 42,800) for Series S and £249 (approx Rs 23,800) for series X.

In Europe as well as the Middle East and Africa the pre-orders will begin at 9 am CEST through Microsoft Store, Amazon, MediaMarkt, GameStop, FNAC, Elkjøp/Elgiganten, and others.

Xbox Series X and Series S pre-orders in Australia will begin at 8 am AEST via Microsoft Store, JB Hifi, EB Games, Telstra, Harvey Norman, and other retailers. There it costs AU$749 (approx Rs 40,000) and AU$499 (approx Rs 26,600) respectively. While in New Zealand Xbox Series X will cost about NZ$799 (approx Rs. 39,200) and Xbox Series S costs around NZ$549 (approx Rs. 26,950). The sale there will kick off at 8 am NZST via Microsoft Store, JB HiFi, EB Games, Spark, and other participating retailers.

Samsung Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51, Galaxy M01s, and more smartphone’s price slashed in India

Samsung has slashed the prices of some of its smartphones from the A-Series in India. The Samsung Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51, Galaxy M01s, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A21s and M01 core have received a price cut of up to Rs 1,500 on all its variants. The company has also updated the price of these smartphones on its official website.

From now onwards Samsung Galaxy A51 will retail at Rs 22,999 for the 6GB with 128GB storage model and at Rs 24,499 for the 8GB with 128GB storage option. All the variants have received a price cut of Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 respectively. Earlier both the models were being sold at Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999 respectively.  While Samsung Galaxy A71 now comes with reduced pricing of Rs 29,499 for the single 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage option. Before the price cut, it was retailing at Rs 29,000 in India.

Samsung Galaxy A31 is another smartphone from the A-series of which price has been revised. It can now be purchased at Rs 19,999 for the single 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Whereas Samsung Galaxy A21s will be available at with new revised pricing of Rs 1499 and Rs 16,499 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage models respectively. It has received a price cut of Rs 1,500.

Beside all these smartphones from the Galaxy A-series, Samsung Galaxy M01s and M01 core prices have also been reduced to up to Rs 1,500. M01s now retails at Rs 9,499 for the lone 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and M01 core now comes at Rs 4,999 for the 1GB RAM with 16GB storage variant.

Like we mentioned earlier the revised pricing has been updated on the company’s official website and can be purchased via Samsung.com, Samsung Opera House, and leading online portals including Amazon in India bundled with cashback offers from ICICI Bank credit cardholders.

Moto E7 Plus release date set for September 28 in India

Recently, Lenovo owned Motorola unveiled its latest smartphone in the market. Moto E7 Plus has been launched in Brazil via an official listing last week and is now making its way to the Indian market. Yes, soon Motorola will launch this smartphone in the country. The device is scheduled for a September 23 launch in India. Before the official announcement and soon after the launch of the mobile phone in Brazil the company started teasing Moto E7 Plus via its social media platforms including Twitter. This comes with a water drop-style display notch display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC and houses a 5,000mAh battery. All the launch details expected pricing and specs details inside.

Moto E7 Plus India launch details 

Moto E7 Plus is set for a release in India on September 28. The company has created a microsite for on the e-commerce website Flipkart to tease the launch details of the upcoming smartphone. As per the listing, the phone will be unveiled at 12 noon onwards and this would be available in two colour options Navy Blue and Bronze Amber. The company is yet to share the pricing of the product on the launch day but this device comes for EUR 149 that translates to Rs 13,000 in Europe for the 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage variant.

Moto E7 Plus specifications

As the device has been unveiled globally so we are very much familiar with the official specs of the device. Moto E7 Plus made is expected to make its India debut with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a water drop-style notch. It supports a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano) slot and runs on Android 10. Powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC E7 Plus has been paired with Adreno 610 GPU along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage option which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

In terms of optics, it offers a dual rear camera set up which includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. While on the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Moto E7 Plus houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The connectivity options on the phone include 4G, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB port, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack. Besides this, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.

Yes, you heard it right but the Chinese app ban is not the reason. After going through several Chinese app bans in India this is the very first thing that comes to our mind. Yes, the Paytm app has been removed from Google Play Store but for repeated policy violations that Google says. According to Google, it has been pulled because it has been violating its gambling policies. Paytm is one of the most trusted and used financial services apps in India and today it was mysteriously removed from the Play Store in the country and it now shows an error.

The Google Play listing showing error for the Paytm app now reads, “We’re sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server.” According to the company, the removal has been imposed on the app because Google Play Store prohibits online casinos and other unregulated gambling apps that aid sports betting in India. In its blog post, Google says, “We don’t allow online casinos or support any unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting. This includes if an app leads consumers to an external website that allows them to participate in paid tournaments to win real money or cash prizes, it is a violation of our policies.”

According to Google when an app violates these policies it notifies the developer of the violation and removes the app from Google Play until the developer brings the app into compliance. In a similar way Paytm was apparently removed from Play Store because of its latest cricket tournament that violates Google Play policies, the search giant confirmed. However, it is still being accessible for iOS users as it is available via Apple Play Store and Android users are unable to download the app but existing users can continue using the app.

While the consumers fret over being unable to download the app Paytm took to Twitter to inform the users that its services will be restored shortly. The Tweet reads, “Dear Paytm’ers, Paytm Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google’s Play Store for new downloads or updates. It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your Paytm app as normal.”

Though Paytm’s grounds of app unavailability on Play Store is unsatisfactory because the removal happened after Google published a blog post highlighting its gambling policies earlier on Friday. This confirms that Google has apparently removed Paytm from the Play store for violating its policies and was found to be facilitating sports betting as Paytm has just announced a fantasy cricket tournament on its platform.

Today in India Sony announced the launch of its premium headsets. The Sony WH-1000XM4 wireless active noise-cancelling headphones. The audio device is the successor of WH-1000XM3 headphones that were launched two years back. Before arriving at the Indian shores the headphones were globally announced earlier in August.

Sony’s WH-1000XM4 headphones come with a similar design just like its predecessor. The audio device is powered by a QN1 noise-cancelling processor that we have already seen on the Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones with active noise cancellation. These headphones are fortified with gesture controls along with adaptive sound control. Placing your right hand over the earbud turns the volume right down and lets in ambient sound. So, you can instantly chat with someone or listen to an important announcement without having to take your headphones off. Armed with 40mm hybrid drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragms, and supported with DSEE Extreme sound enhancement feature. In addition to this, it comes with wear detection feature and the battery is claimed to last for more than 30 hours on a single charge with active noise cancellation mode on.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones get along with the Sony Headphones Connect app to control and customised settings. The app is available for Android and iOS via Play Store and App Store respectively. Furthermore, using the app, the users can also modify noise cancellation, organise adaptive sound controls, and fiddle with other settings for instance the equaliser as well as sound modes.
