We should mention that the most prominent change that has come to light is the ‘For You’ page that has been generated algorithmically on the app. While today users have to flip through each video on this page and all the videos are available in a vertical feed. Going forward, the section of the app will get a grid-style layout that looks like it has been inspired by Instagram’s Explore page. With this, users will not be forced to watch the content that they don’t want to.TikTok is testing to SHOW like counts on each video on Sound and Hashtag page

Another key feature that is being added is the ‘Discover’ tab. The dedicated button for the tab will be replacing the ‘Search’ tab on the app that lets users enter various keywords to look for the content that they are interested in. The ‘Discover’ feature, on the other hand, comes with a people icon on it and this could mean that it helps users look for other people to follow on the app.TikTok is testing to show number of Downloads on videos 👀 pic.twitter.com/hPkBo09pNy

But then, two features that haven’t been picked from Instagram have also been uncovered by Wong. One shows the ‘Like’ counts on videos in the Sounds and Hashtags page, and the other one shows the number of Downloads on videos. Other than this, some features were also found that are aimed at improving connections with other social media apps. TikTok will also be getting better integration with WhatsApp and the ability to link their account to Google and Facebook. 10 tips to make sure you are shopping safely online
In This Article
Check for the lock
When shopping online, you must always look for a closed lock icon in your browser window. You will find it next to the URL bar. Click on the icon to ensure that the security certification shows up. This basically is to check the authenticity of the website. Remember that you must never purchase anything using your credit card from a website that doesn’t have an SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption. This can be ensured by looking for HTTPS instead of HTTP in the URL.
Research before you buy from an unknown website
There are scores of online shopping websites in today’s day and age. They sell everything ranging from clothes, mobile covers, accessories, and even TV show merchandise. While mostly everyone sticks to a renowned shopping site, sometimes we spot something online that looks very unique and can’t be found anywhere else. In such cases, one may feel tempted to the product. However, before you make the purchase, do read up reviews and complaints of other customers of the website. This will give you a fair idea about the reliability of the website. But remember that websites also pay for good reviews, so only believe the ones that have some realistic-looking pictures.
Looks too good to be true? It probably is
One of the cardinal rules of online shopping is that whatever looks too good to be true, probably is. If a website is offering products at prices that are too low, you need to be sure of a few things before you make any purchase. Be sure to check that the website sells authentic products, delivers items that are prepaid for, has policies in place for damaged items, etc.
Check the refund and replacement policies
A major problem area in online shopping is refunds and returns. Make sure that the website you are shopping from offers easy returns and refunds in case the product they deliver turn out to be fraudulent. A number of shopping websites even have a detailed policy mentioned on their platform, but you would not be able to find the option at all.
Use a credit card to pay online
While COD is the best possible option when it comes to online shopping, it may not always be available. In such cases, always opt for credit card payment and avoid using a debit card. Credit card purchases limit your liability to $50 of unauthorized charges in case your financial information is stolen. With this, you end saving the money in your bank account. Debit cards, on the other hand, don’t offer the same kind of protection.
Buying a gift card
Another thing that you should know is that scammers love gift cards as much as you do. So, the attractive gift card that you may be planning to buy from a not-so-known website may have either nominal or no credit on it. Such gift cards are a famous way of getting someone’s credit card details, so make sure you only buy it from a renowned source.
Be wary of the information you provide
IF you think that the website you are shopping from is asking for more information than e-commerce platforms usually require, then avoid buying from it, no matter how attractive the discounts are and how unique the products are. The more information a scammer has about you, the more dangerous it is.
That e-mail may be fraudulent
If you have received an email from a seller announcing a heavy discount or promising you a freebie, it may be fraudulent. Avoid clicking on it and instead, go to the seller’s platform to confirm this. Sometimes, emails are doctored to look like they are from renowned sources and they only have a very small change in the email address that can be overlooked easily.
Create a unique password
This is very basic, but make sure that the password that you for any e-commerce is unique and has a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. The more complicated it is, the harder it is to crack. No matter what, please don’t use your birthdate as the password.
Keep your anti-malware software updated
Whether or not you shop online, make sure you have the anti-malware software in your system updated at all times. It keeps your system secure and if you inadvertently download something malicious, it alerts you.

Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones review: Great inexpensive sound
In This Article
Design
Adcom is an Indian company that has been manufacturing goods in China and selling them in India. One such product from their stable is Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones. Which for the price segment are well-made. They do not look flimsy, neither has the company used slapdash plastic. At least not on the headband or ear cups. The only place we thought they could have done better was the buttons. Talking about which, the right ear cup is where all the buttons and ports are placed. These include power on/off, play/pause, volume up/next track, volume down/previous track and an M/EQ buttons. With these, there is a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio port and a micro USB charging port available on it as well.
Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones also have RGB LED lights on both the ear cups too, which can be turned on or off by long-pressing the play button. This conserves the battery. A Bluetooth LED indicator is also given on the right ear cup band. For comfort, there is enough cushioning on the headsets. Starting from the headband that has a rubberised air pad on it. The ear plates have foam pads, which do manage to cut down the ambient noise to quite an extent (passively).
USB Charging cable and a not-so-long 3.5mm audio cable are also supplied in the box. The headphones are flexible and have metal hinges. These extend the headsets for each head type and also collapses the ear cups for easy storage. These can turn up to 180 degrees inwards.
Performance
Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones shine when it comes to resonance. We were not expecting the kind of beats it can produce. The high and lows are very audible, but what really takes the cake is the deep base. We played some of our best tunes from Spotify (Hollywood and Bollywood) and the headphones delivered great sound. Setting them up is child’s play and they quickly connect using Bluetooth 4.2. Just turn them on, search for them on the mobile, pair and you are all set. The Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones take about 2 hours to fully charge using a standard USB charger, which sadly is not part of the box. After charging fully we got about 4 hours of music playback from the 400 mAh battery, with LED RGB lights turned on. Adding to the show, the RGB LED’s light up the ring and Adcom branding on both the earpieces. The Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones support playback from a microSD card as well. A card of up to 256GB is supported. However, one has to be a bit careful to insert it in the slot, as the slot is not the easiest to operate. Users can also pick calls when connected with a smartphone (Android or iOS). The play button can be used for the same. A mic is placed on the right band and the call quality via the Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones is not bad either.
The Bluetooth range for these headphones is 20 meters (as the company states). For us these worked well till about 15 meters and walls do not hamper the reception much. We were able to access the buttons on the headset with ease and found their placement to be quite decent. So how does one operate the tracks and volume on the Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones? It’s pretty simple, the play button doubles up as the pause button and call button. The volume buttons if single pressed go to next or previous tracks. If long pressed then volume increases or decreases.
Verdict
For our final words, we do not mind the good sound the Adcom Luminosa wireless headphones threw at us. At Rs 1,490 these are definitely worthy. We for one wanted better-built MicroSD card port and buttons on these headphones. The sound with 3.5mm aux cable improves a bit, but the length of the cord fell short. All in all, if you are looking for good to great wireless sound in a budget and a warranty period of 1 year, these headphones will not disappoint you. Explaining further, he said, “Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 730 are the latest processors, which are much more expensive than its predecessors (845 and 710). Please note, latest technology gets cheaper with time; we could have used older generation processor to save money or we could have waited for 6 months for component costs to go down, and hence further reduce the price of Redmi K20. But that would’ve gone against our philosophy of bringing the latest innovation to you.”
He also spoke about why there is a difference between the prices of the Chinese and Indian variants. He clarified that the In China the K20 Pro comes with 6GB along with 64GB storage while the one that has been launched in India comes with heavy storage that is 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage.
In addition to this, he said, “We are proud to manufacture these flagship devices in India, with nearly 65% of the value of the smartphone being locally sourced. The remaining 35% has to be imported leading to higher taxes for complicated components. This leads to a small pricing difference, e.g., there is only 3% difference between the top-end variant (8GB+256GB) pricing between India and China. We could have reduced prices by using cheaper materials like plastic or by compromising on quality, but we chose not to do it.”

For selfies and video calls, Samsung Galaxy A10s is expected to feature an 8MP camera. In the tweet, Agarwal has also pointed out that the smartphone will come with a 4,000mAh battery. However, we should mention that the FCC listing said that the handset comes with a 3,900mAh battery. This is another upgrade as Samsung Galaxy A10 packs a 3,400mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy A10s is said to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and it is powered by an octa-core processor. The processor on the device is expected to be MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and not Exynos 7884 chipset. It is also worth mentioning that the handset has received certification from Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG, and this means that the launch of the smartphone is not exactly too far. To recall, Samsung Galaxy A10 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) screen and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and it packs a 3,400mAh battery. Speaking about it, Nikolaos Chrysaidoes, head of mobile threat intelligence and security at Avast said, “These apps are highly unethical and problematic for people’s privacy and shouldn’t be on the Google Play Store.
