Realme X50 Pro Player Edition with Snapdragon 865 SoC and dual selfie camera launched

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition with 5G connectivity has been launched in the market. The smartphone is the toned-down variant of Realme X50 Pro 5G that was introduced earlier this year. The newly launched smartphone comes with the display that supports 90Hz refresh rate along with a quad rear camera set up and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with a Tactile Engine and 4D game vibration sense 2.0 for the better gaming experience.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition pricing and availability

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition made its debut in the market in multiple configurations. The 6GB variant has been priced at CNY 2,699 that translates to Rs 28,700, the 8GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,999 that translates to Rs 32,000 whereas the 12GB option will be available at CNY 3,299 that translates to Rs 35,100. It will be offered in two colour options Lightspeed Silver and Phantom Black. The device is now up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale starting June 1. The smartphone is expected to launch in India also however the global launch details are yet to be revealed by the company.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition specifications

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition runs on Realme UI based on top of Android 10. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch full-HD+  Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The mobile phone 90Hz refresh rate hole punch design display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor paired with  Adreno 650 GPU,  Tactile Engine and 4D game vibration sense 2.0 as well as a Vapour Chamber for thermal management. Multiple options are available with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of non-expandable UFS 3.1 storage.

For camera capabilities Realme X50 Pro Player Edition comes with a quad rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.3 aperture and field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a dual selfie camera with a 16-megapixel primary Sony IMX 471 sensor with an f/2.5 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with  f/2.4 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, there is 4G LTE, 5G (SA and NSA), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.  The sensors includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, a proximity sensor along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Realme Chinese smartphone brand has launched a slew of new smart products in the India market alongside its first Realme Smart TV. The company has introduced Realme Buds Air Neo, Realme Watch and  Buds Air Neo that is going to compete with its rival Xiaomi. All the devices comes with an affordable price range. Read on to know more about its pricing and specification details. 

Pricing and availability

The Realme Watch will be available with a price tag of Rs 3,999 for the black strap option. Whereas the other colour options can be purchased by paying an additional sum of Rs 499. The smartwatch is scheduled to go on sale in the country from June 5 onwards through Flipkart and realme.com. The colour option for the Watch strap includes Blue, red, and green straps to be purchased separately.

The Realme Buds Air Neo comes in three colour options Pop White, Punk Green, Rock Red. It has been launched with a price tag of Rs 2,999 and is now up for sale via Flipkart and realme.com. Whereas the Realme 10000mAh Power Bank 2 has been launched at Rs 999 and is also available for purchase. It is available in two colour options Black and Yellow. The company says that all the products will be available soon via offline stores also.

Realme Watch

The Realme Watch features a 1.4 inch ( 3.5cm) coloured touch screen display with 320X320 pixels of resolution, 323 PPI and offering 380 nits brightness along with ten levels of adjustment. The display comes with a layering of  2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display includes six key data points – time, date, weather, steps, heart rate, and calories. According to the company, the users can choose one among the 12 built-in exquisite watch faces. 

Realme Buds Air Neo

The smartwatch comes with 14 sports monitoring modes that includes Outdoor Run, Walk, Indoor Run, Outdoor Cycle, Aerobic Capacity, Strength Training, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Indoor Cycle, Elliptical machine, Yoga and Cricket. In addition to this, it features an inbuilt real-time heart rate monitor that can detect heart rate every 5 minutes 24/7. Moreover, there is Blood Oxygen Saturation Level Monitor that keep a track on the user’s blood oxygen.

The Realme Watch can be paired with any of your smartphones while supporting the display of calls, SMS and third-party app messages. It can also remotely control the music player on the smartphone, one can easily pause and play music while running. The device comes with an IP68 rating for sweat and water resistance.

Realme Buds Air Neo is another audio product from the company that is powered by 1 audio chipset based on the Bluetooth 5.0 protocol with Super low latency mode. The latency is only 119.2ms, which enables real-time audio experience. The earphones comes with a carry case which when opened connects to your paired device automatically with the help of  Google Fast Pair protocol.

On double-tapping it plays/pause the music whereas triple tapping allows you to skip to the next track and a long press enables voice assistant for voice operation or end a phone call. It can last up to 3 hours on a single charge and with the charging case it can deliver up to 17 hours of total battery life.

According to the company, the USB-C not only can fast charge the power bank but also output power to charge other devices. Thanks to the low current mode, it can charge many AIoT devices, with small batteries.

Realme launched its entry-level Smart TV series in India starting at Rs 12,999

The Chinese smartphone company Realme forays into the television category with the launch of its first smart TV in India. The Realme Smart TV is powered by MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor along with Dolby Audio certified 24W quad stereo speakers. Alongside the television, the company also launched a bunch of its new products namely  Realme Watch, Buds Air Neo and 10000mAh Power Bank 2 in the country.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Madhav Sheth, Vice President, Realme and Chief Executive Officer, Realme India said, “India has always been a top priority market for realme. We aim to launch multiple AIoT products in 2020 around your ‘Personal, Home, and Travel’ experience along with smartphones. In this scheme of things, we are proud to debut our first smart TV with industry-leading MediaTek chipsets and Dolby Audio quad speakers, offering the best sound and picture quality at their prices. Also, we are happy to offer the most functional smartwatch in the segment – realme Watch.

Pricing and Availability details

The company has introduced Realme Smart TV in two sizes. The 43 inches size model is priced at Rs 21,999 whereas the 32 inches size option has been launched with a price tag of Rs 12,999. Both the models are said to go on sale starting June 2 via Flipkart and realme.com whereas the offline availability details are yet to be announced soon. The Television comes with an additional one year warranty only for the panel if purchased via online channels.

As we mentioned above the Realme Smart TV will be offered in two sizes 43 inches and 32 inches with a resolution of 1920X1080 and 1366X768respectively. The TV features Chroma Boost Picture Engine which improves the picture quality along with brightness, colour, contrast and clarity. It comes with a  visual angle of up to 178 degrees. There are 7 display modes available on the device standard, vivid, sport, movie, game, energy-saving, and user, customized to the viewer watching preferences.

The Television comes with a bezel-less design and is powered by MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor that supports HDR10 video decoding. It equips 24W Quad Stereo Speakers located are the bottom of the Television. To deliver clear audio quality and enhanced sound the Smart TV comes integrated with Dolby Audio. 

In addition to this, the users can download third party videos, music platforms, movies, and programs can also be downloaded through the Play Store. However, it comes loaded with popular streaming media platforms, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video. It comes with a built-in Chromecast to connect to your smartphone or any other device for games, videos, movies and listening to music while also sharing the photos and videos taken by the mobile phone. For connectivity, there is 2.4GHz WiFi and Infrared, Bluetooth 5.0 multiple wireless connections.

The Realme Smart TV runs on Android TV (Android 9.0) and comes with Google Assistant to control the TV with one’s voice to customize the experience to unique interests and enable access to a variety of content through the Google Play Store & YouTube.

The remote contains three high-frequency quick buttons set for YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video. One can also activate google assistant with the hotkey and built-in microphones activate Google Assistant more conveniently.

Fujifilm launched X-T4 mirrorless camera in India 

Japanese photography and imaging giant Fujifilm has announced the launch of their new mirrorless camera in the Indian market. Expanding its flagship X-series range the company launched FujiFilms X-T4  keeping in mind the needs and demands of the users for the camera to be fast, durable and quiet. The X-T4 is claimed to deliver as it comes with the fastest ever autofocus performance in an X Series camera along with in-body image stabilization (IBIS).

Speaking about the launch, Mr. Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd. said, “At Fujifilm India, we believe in consistent innovation and a continuous growth process, where we break boundaries and redefine the expectations of how a digital camera can perform. And with the newly launched FUJIFILM X-T4, we wanted to create something that expands our user’s creative limits with its incredible imaging tools, a hybrid camera that uses cutting-edge technology to excel in creating both stills and motion imagery. The retro dials and analogue chic in the outside and the highly advanced packed features in the inside makes the X-T4 a truly compelling combination. Now our consumers can free themselves from compromise and be the image-maker they’ve always wanted to be.”

Fujifilm X-T4 Price and Availability

Fujifilm X-T4 Body only has been launched with a price tag of Rs 1,54,999. The X-T4 Kit with Fujinon XF18-55mmF2.8-4 is Priced at Rs. 184,999 whereas X-T4 Kit with Fujinon XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR will be available with a price tag of Rs. 199,999. All the models including the body only come with freebies worth Rs.18,500. This includes a  V90 64GB UHS-II memory card and the BC-W235 dual battery charger for free.

The pre-booking for the only body and the 18-55mm kit has been opened. Interested ones can visit the link here to register the Fujifilm mirrorless camera by paying an amount of Rs 5,000. The X-T4 will be available in two colour options black and silver. However, all the models are said to go on sale vis both online and offline platforms starting in June.

Fujifilm X-T4 specifications

Fujifilm X-T4 is an upgrade over the X-T3 model. The camera is the company’s first model to feature an in-body image stabilization (IBIS). It provides 5-axis 6.5 stop image stabilization best suitable for night and action photography that includes sports and also assists with stabilized video recording. It comes equipped with a new w ultra-fast focal plane shutter capable of shooting up to 15fps in burst mode. The shutter unit boasts double durability with 300,000 shutter life & its shutter noise approx. 30% quieter compared to X-T3. Moreover, there is a larger capacity NP-W126S battery. It is claimed to deliver 500 frames per charge in the Normal mode, approx. 600 frames per charge in the Economy mode and up to approx. 1,700 frames when two additional batteries are used with the optional battery grip “VG-XT4.

In addition to this, the Fujifilm camera features “ETERNA Bleach Bypass,” that provides Hard Tonality, Low Color Saturation along with versatile Cinematic colour tones and high contrast for best photography experience. The camera comes with the PDAF Algorithm which ups the autofocus performance as fast as 0.02 seconds. This ensures that you capture and track a subject moving at high speed, especially shooting 15fps in Burst Mode and 8fps in live view. According to the company, it is its first camera capable of recording Full HD high-speed video at 240P, producing up to 10x real-time slow-motion effect.

Using the ETERNA Bleach Bypass features the mirrorless camera helps in creating images with low saturation and high contrast for a special atmosphere. Highlight and shadow tones from -2 to +4 can now be adjusted by 1/2 stops, instead of 1 stop, allowing for finer tonality. Moreover, the Auto White Balance includes two options  “White Priority” and “Ambience Priority” along with Auto mode. The “White Priority” mode delivers white better, while the “Ambience Priority” produces a warmer tone. When  “RAW” is selected, you can now choose the non-reversible “Compressed” option in addition to the reversible “Lossless Compressed”.

 X-T4 offers a world’s fastest 15fps continuous shooting in post view and an 8fps continuous shooting in live view using the mechanical shutter and the electronic shutter enables blackout-free burst shooting of 30fps. The eyecup now comes with a locking mechanism to avoid tearing or dislodgement. Whereas the  LCD/EVF can be boosted in three different ways, Low Light Priority – allowing you to see the subject clearly in low light, Resolution Priority.

It seems that ongoing war between YouTube and TikTok is not going to end anytime soon. In what could be a shocker for Amir Siddiqui‘s fans, the official TikTok account of this popular Tiktoker has now been suspended. Soon after the report surfaced the Internet, CarryMinati’s fans left no opportunity to celebrate the news by supporting the YouTuber.

Mind you! TikTok Amir Siddique’s account suspension has taken place days after his brother’s Faizal Siddiqui’s TikTok account was banned after the latter came under scanner for promoting acid attack and ultimately violating the rules.

According to a SPOTBOYE report, Amir’s TikTok account has been suspended after Casting Director Noor Siddiqui filed a non- cognizable compliant against the Tiktoker. On May 9, Noor Siddique shared a clip on IGTV video to expose “illicit cheap acts of Amir Siddique for garnering cheap publicity by jumping into controversies. The same wasn’t liked by Amir therefore he posted extremely defamatory and malicious comment on the said video of Noor and also forwarded him dreadfully threatening voice note on his WhatsApp,” the report added.

Soon after this, CarryMinati’s fans started flooding Twitter in his support by taking a jibe at Amir Siddique.

 

 

Earlier, CarryMinati’s viral video titled as ‘YouTube vs TikTok: The End’ was removed from YouTube for violating its terms of service. This resulted in CarryMinati’s fan storming the Internet to wage a war against TikTok by bringing down its rating. Currently, TikTok rating is less than 1.5 as against 4.5 rating earlier on Google Play Store.

In the no-more-existing ‘YouTube vs TikTok: The End’ video, CarryMinati roasted Mumbai-based TikToker Amir Siddique for his earlier posted TikTok video where Amir had accused YouTubers of plagiarising TikTok content.

However, CarryMinati clarified his position in another video on YouTube stating that a lot of his slangs in the ‘YouTube vs TikTok: The End’ video have been taken out of context by the viewers. He tried making his image clear by asserting that people are understanding his words in their own respective ways.

CarryMinati, who has more than 18 million subscribers on YouTube, is drawing support from his fans and celebrities including Mukesh Khanna who defended CarryMinati via a video stating “I support CarryMinati who raised his voice against TikTok. His video has been deleted from YouTube which is wrong according to me. If video has to be deleted, then all objectionable video content should be removed.”

“Along with this, I would also like to advise CarryMinati to choose his words and sentences carefully. Avoid using words or sentences that would hurt others feeling. People love and support you, therefore choosing right words is extremely important. Many a times, by using wrong world, we stand incorrect even if we are right,” added Khanna.

Titled as ‘The Next Generation’, the 30-second AppleTV+ advertisement on YouTube revealed that children can enjoy content like ‘Helpsters’, ‘Ghost Writer’, ‘Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth’ and ‘Snoopy in Space’, etc.

Based on the best-selling children’s book by Oliver Jeffers, ‘Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth’ movie is a creation of animation firm Studio AKA. Talking about the story plot, Oliver Jeffer revealed, “Our world can be a bewildering place, especially if you’ve only just got here. Your head will be filled with questions, so let’s explore what makes our planet and how we live on it. From land and sky, to people and time, these notes can be your guide and start you on your journey.” Mind you! It is appearing on Apple TV+ for the very first time.

As far as ‘Helpsters’ is concerned, Apple TV+ YouTube page notified that in the fifth episode of Helpsters Help You, Cody shares how the Helpsters have fun together when they’re apart. “From the makers of Sesame Street, Helpsters Help You is a free series of shorts created to help kids and parents alike cope with the realities of COVID-19. Cody the helpful monster is broadcasting live from the Helpsters shop, where she comes up with a plan for everything from social distancing to having fun when the park is closed. Earlier, WarnerMedia has announced that HBO Max, the company’s anticipated streaming platform, will be available on Apple devices when it debuts on May 27, 2020 with 10,000 hours of curated content and a programming slate that will offer something for everyone in the home. HBO Max will be fully integrated with the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV.

With this, new HBO Max customers will be able to subscribe directly in the app using in-app purchase. Samsung unveils new series of soundbars to recreate theatre experience at home

As people look to recreate the theatre experience at home, Samsung Electronics Co. has announced an innovative new series of soundbars – all designed to deliver immersive, captivating sound quality that will enhance the home theater experience. The Flagship Q, Lifestyle S, and T Series soundbars seamlessly integrate with Samsung’s wide-ranging TV lineup, with premium design to suit the needs of any consumer’s home environment.

The Q Series, which leads Samsung’s trio of soundbar audio offerings and includes the Q800T, which won a 2020 CES Best of Innovation Award, includes Samsung’s signature Q-Symphony technology – which combines the soundbar’s dynamic Object Tracking Sound with the TV’s top speakers to produce a fully immersive listening experience in any living room.

Moreover, the Q series also comprises of Samsung’s proprietary Acoustic Beam Technology, which takes TV audio and mixes it to surround the listener with a panoramic soundscape – creating sound that aligns with the action on screen.

According to the company, “Through this technology, Samsung’s engineers have been able to incorporate some of the most advanced acoustic designs into wide-range tweeters that can reach 800hz. These technologies come together to make the listener feel like they’re right in the middle of the action.”

Besides this, Samsung claims that the Q800T and Q70T feature upward-firing speakers that support both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology – resulting in three-dimensional audio that flows all around the listener. The Q800T and Q70T also include HDMI eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), which enables users to listen to uncompressed high-quality audio with eARC compatible TVs. And both soundbars can expand from their built-in speaker channel configuration to a 5.1.2-channel system with the addition of a wireless speaker kit.

In addition to the above-mentioned features, Samsung’s T Series – the successor to the groundbreaking R Series soundbars – introduces several new models in the entry-to-mid range lineup: the T650, T550, and the T450. The T650 includes 3.1 channel surround sound, anchored by a dedicated center channel speaker that helps project audio content crisply and clearly.  Plus, both the T650 and T550 are HDMI-enabled and feature DTS Virtual:X, which emulates a spatial surround sound system without the need for additional speakers.

The S Series soundbar is designed to bring your walls to life, the S series is coated with premium textiles from Kvadrat – a global design textile company. The S60T – another CES Innovation Awards Honoree – comes with a wide-range tweeter attached to the horn-shaped speaker.

Samsung claims that “The result is a rich sound that fills every corner of your room. The S60T also features Alexa voice control, so users can easily listen to their favorite music services, like Amazon Music, Spotify, Tunein, and iHeart Radio.”

Apple iOS 14 leaked online: Here’s everything you should know

Leaked Apple’s operating system iOS 14 early version is doing rounds all over the Internet. News is rife that someone has likely gained access to an iPhone running the new iOS 14 which ultimately resulted in tipping of the features related to this operating system even before it has been officially unveiled.

As per Vice’s Motherboard, “Security researchers and hackers have had access to a leaked early version of iOS 14, the iPhone’s next operating system, since at least February.”

Usually, such leaks related to specification of any iOS hit the Internet only before the launch time starts inching closer. However, it is altogether a different story this time. According to Motherboard by Vice, “Five sources in the jailbreaking community familiar with the leak told us they think that someone obtained a development iPhone 11 running a version of iOS 14 dated December 2019, which was made to be used only by Apple developers.”

The report further quoted the sources revealing that someone bought the device from China’s smartphone market at a heavy cost. The person then reportedly extracted the iOS 14 internal build and leaked the same across the iPhone jailbreaking and hacking community.

In another report by Forbes, it was reported that Apple is strengthening its password manager and will eventually rollout a new updated Home screen list view option that will enable you to use iOS apps without downloading them completely.

With the early iOS 14 leak, news is rife that criminal hackers are likely to use the scenario to threaten both Apple as well as iOS users as they will be ready with the jailbreak version of the operating system even before it is launched.

Earlier, Apple announced it will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference virtually, beginning June 22, in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website for free for all developers. The company also announced the Swift Student Challenge, an opportunity for student developers to showcase their love of coding by creating their own Swift playground. Now Instagram users can access Facebook’s Messenger Rooms feature that supports video-calling option with up to 50 people. Taking to Twitter, Instagram had announced that its users can now create an easy way to video chat with up to 50 of their favourite people via Messenger Rooms on Instagram. This took place after Instagram’s integration with Messenger Rooms on Facebook.

Wondering how to use Messenger Rooms on Instagram? Well, the official announcement video has revealed to use video-calling option, one simply needs to follow these steps:

  1. Open Instagram
  2. Then, click on the Direct icon
  3. Now, tap on the camera icon placed on the top right-hand side
  4. After this, click on ‘Create a Room’ option on the top of the display screen (Mind you! It showcases a message, “Send a Link to video chat with anyone, even if they don’t have Instagram.”)
  5. This will open a small pop-up window with a blue button on the bottom of the screen to ‘Create Room as (your name)
  6. Once Room is created, now you need to check against the name of people to add in the
  7. Tap on ‘Send’ button placed at the bottom
  8. Now choose ‘Join Room’
  9. With this, you will move out of Instagram and continue into Facebook Messenger

With this, one should ensure that Facebook Messenger pre-installed in their handsets as this video calling feature on Instagram is an integration of Facebook Messenger Room. This is why on joining room one moves out of Instagram and continue into Facebook Messenger.

Earlier a WABetaInfo report has revealed that the WhatsApp beta app version 2.20.163 for Android showcases a new integration with Messenger Rooms. This allows users to have access to this real-time video-chatting feature that enables up to 50 people to participate in the same group call.

If you too have 2.20.163 Android beta update installed, the news report added that you can check for WhatsApp’s new integration with Messenger Rooms by checking out the chat sheet if the Room icon is place alongside like Documents, Gallery, Audio, Location and Contacts. Why we didn’t mentioned about the Camera icon here, the reason is it has been replaced by Rooms in the WhatsApp beta app version 2.20.163 for Android.

On Clicking on Rooms, WhatsApp will introduce Room Messenger to you and you can get started by creating Rooms. But there is a second option too as you can access Room Messenger via Call tab. You select your contacts and then continue in messenger to create Room.

According to the report, the Messenger Rooms integration on WhatsApp has initially been introduced to users in the United States. However, it is believed that it will be made available in other regions soon.

Ahead of the May 25 launch event, Realme has shared a teaser on its official website about its much-anticipated watch that will be launching along with Realme TV and other IoT products in India. The teaser talks about the company’s first smartwatch design as well as several interesting features that it carries.

Sporting a 1.4-inch (3.5 cm) colour touch-screen display, which Realme claims is the biggest screen display in India in the price segment, Realme Watch showcases a square-shaped that displays temperature on the top along with Realme logo at the bottom of the screen. Besides that, two buttons could be seen mounted on the right side of the display screen.

In the Realme Watch, a user can customize their watch with colourful straps and customize watch faces as it comes with two strap options — classic and fashion. From the image shown on the website, it seems that the Realme Watch’s strap is made up of silicon.

The Realme Watch comes with intelligent activity tracker with 14 sports modes including:

In order to pair and control the watch, a user could simply download the Realme Link app via Google Play Store. However, there is no mention about the iOS app as of now but it is believe that the app would be available on Apple Store soon.

Moreover, Realme Watch will alert its users about when to drink water and relax, showcase the current weather status, when to stand up and move, time as well as push notifications for calls and SMS. In addition to this, the smartwatch also provides support for apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Messenger and much more.

Besides this, the users of Realme Watch could also enjoy the entertainment on the go with camera control that easily enables them take pictures as well as music control to tune into their favourite tune while they are exercising.

In the past, several rumours have hinted that Realme Watch is likely to run on a battery with 160mAH capacity along with Realme’s custom OS. As far as price is concerned, the watch is likely to fall in sub-Rs10,000 category to take on Amazfit GTS.

We already know that on May 26 Xioami is going to host a special launch event in China where it will be pulling the wraps off a slew of new products. At the launch event, the company will be launching a Redmi 10X smartphone alongside its newest RedmiBook laptop and Redmi TV series. The Xioami’s upcoming laptop has been part of the rumour mills since a very long time now. Recently the three models of the laptop were listed on a Chinese e-retailer website and some images with the specifications are also leaked on the web hinting that it will be powered by AMD CPUs. In a new development, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has now confirmed that the Redmibook series is going to equip AMD’s latest Ryzen 4000 series CPUs. 

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing revealed via Chinese microblogging website Weibo that the upcoming RemiBook is going to derive its power from the newest AMD RyzenTM 4000 series processors to offer improved performance and efficiency. In addition to this, he also shared an image of the internals of the laptop.

He also shaped another official teaser image of the RedmiBook laptop giving you the first glimpse of the device. The laptop looks similar to Apple MackBook Pro in terms of design aspects. The display will have support for 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut. His tweet reads, “The vision is not only excellent but also outstanding. The blessing of 100% sRGB wide color gamut makes the colors full of expression and vivid. Welcome the diversity of the world, forget the original black and white.”

The laptop is suggested to come with thin bezels that will be 3.26mm in size. Moreover, it will feature a 15-inch display. Whereas according to a report by GizmoChina the company is said to bring a 16.1-inches display. Additionally, there will be a 90% screen-to-body ratio with  100% sRGB wide color gamut. Not many details have been revealed about the device but the leaks suggest that the company will be offering RedmiBook laptop in three variants. Out of the three specifications of the two models have already been leaked.

Both the models are speculated to arrive with a 16GB of RAM is DDR4 clocked at 2666 MHz and 512GB of M881 Samsung SATASSD storage. The device will come with model number TIMI TM1951 and  TIMI TM1953.

The device with model number TIMI TM1951  is said to be powered by a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor clocked at 2.4GHz and support a turbo clock speed of 3.9GHz. It will come with the 64-bit version of Windows 10.

Whereas, model number TIMI TM195 RedmiBook is suggested to draw its power from the eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor with base clock 2GHz  and boost clock of 4.1GHz. It will be available with a 64-bit version of Windows 10.

The Chinese electronics major today rolled out its new Mi TV E43K under its E series of smart TVs. The smart television comes with a 43-inch display and is going to be offered under the affordable budget segment. It also features full HD resolution with a bezel-less design. Moreover, it supports a 60Hz refresh rate with a 178-degree viewing angle. The smart TB also comes with two 8W speakers with DTS 2.0 also it runs on Patchwall OS and lacks Bluetooth connectivity. Xiaomi Mi TV E43K as the name suggests it comes with a full-HD display with 1,920×1,080 pixels of resolution. It features a 60Hz refresh rate screen with 78-degree viewing angles. The Xiaomi’s smart TV is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz speed paired with  Mali-450 MP2 GPU for graphics. It will be offering 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. On the connectivity front, the smart TV comes with two HDMI ports. Out of the two, one supports HDMI ARC (High Definition Multimedia Interface Audio Return Channel). Additionally, the other options include an  AV port, an Ethernet port and WiFi for connectivity. It also equips two 8W speakers with DTS 2.0.

Xiaomi Mi TV E43K has been introduced in its home market China. It will be available for purchase with a price tag of CNY 1,099 that translates to Rs  11,700. The company has now put the smart TV on sale in its country via  Xiaomiyoupin. It is also expected to arrive in the Indian market however there is no information about the international availability of the product.

Gigabyte Technology has unveiled its latest motherboards and graphics cards in the market. Today the company announced the launch of its latest newest B550 Aorus series of motherboards for the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processors. The motherboard features a native USB 3.2 Gen2 interface, feature-rich I/O with a pre-installed I/O shield, the latest wireless connection, and Ultra Durable technology, It comes with a 16-phase VRM design.

Gigabyte Aorus B550 motherboards are compatible with Ryzen 3000 series processors featuring PCIe 4.0, improved thermal solutions and digital power design that can be a better alternative to AMD X570 flagship motherboard that was unveiled last year.

The fact that a run-of-the-mill Samsung Galaxy device is now capable of running hit titles such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as well as a number of console-quality action games with ease, highlights just how far the mobile gaming market has advanced in such a short time-span.

Standalone PC Games As Apps

One of the main drivers of the migration to app gaming in recent years has been the willingness of standalone PC game developers to reformat their most popular titles for smartphones. The aforementioned release of the San Andreas app, which is a carbon-copy of the original game, is just one example of many.

Bully, another iconic game from Rockstar studios, is now available in full on Android and iOS. The first two Max Payne games, both of which were massive hits with PC gamers at the turn of the last decade, are also playable on a smartphone – another example of how the development studio Rockstar is leading the charge toward app-based gaming.

Other developers have also been following suit. Square Enix recently released the original Tomb Raider game as an iOS app, before following shortly after with the release of the 2011 game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on the same platform. The list goes on.

Online Casino Games As Apps

Another key industry player in the app revolution has been the $53.7 billion online casino industry. While originally many of the biggest casino game developers offered their titles exclusively as browser games, virtually all of them have since recognized the pre-eminence of apps and adopted their games accordingly.

Today, all of the most popular online slot titles have been adapted for Android, including games such as Triple Diamond, Cleopatra, and Quick Hit. Some studies have shown that close to half of all people who play real-money casino games now do so via their smartphones, a trend that has undoubtedly been influenced by the fact that so many casino operators were quick to transform the entirety of their browser offerings into a self-contained app format.

Of course, many of those same casinos have formatted their websites so that browser-based gaming is still possible on mobile, but it’s clear that they see the future of their industry in app development.

Browser MMOs As Apps

Another emerging and recent trend in the world of smartphone gaming has been the release of hugely popular browser-based MMO games as apps. The fantasy MMORPG Runescape, which has a global following of millions, recently revitalized its business model by releasing the official Runescape Mobile app, which has had hundreds of thousands of downloads since 2019.

The competitive shooter game Fortnite has also jumped on the bandwagon, allowing its 78 million monthly players to enjoy the game on their own iOS/Android app. In a similar vein, the development team behind League of Legends has also expanded its offerings with a spin-off app called League of Legends: Wild Rift, which consists of a more restricted version of the browser version.

Meanwhile, the PC gaming library Steam has made what is arguably the biggest stride into the app market to date with the release of Steam Link, which allows users to play all of their Steam PC games on their phones.

It’s clear that smartphone apps look set to continue cementing their dominance of the gaming market. The only question left is how other platforms will adapt in response.

LG Q61 with military-grade durability and quad rear cameras launched: Specifications and pricing details

LG Electronics has announced the launch of its new smartphone in the market. The company has introduced LG Q61 in the South Korean market. The device is said to be the rebranded variant of LG K61 that was launched a few months ago in the market. LG Q61 comes with a  quad rear camera, a hole-punch design display along with the military-grade durability. Moreover, the smartphone comes integrated with DTS: X3D stereo for high-quality sound. 

LG Q61 pricing and availability

LG Q61 has been launched in a single configuration of 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will be available with a price tag of KRW 369,600 that translates to Rs 22,700. The company will be offering the device in two colour options Titanium and White colour options. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in South Korea starting May 29. Until now there is no word from the company about the international availability of the mobile phone. 

LG Q61 specifications

In terms of design, LG Q61 features a hole-punch design display housing a selfie camera and slim bezels as well as offers MIL-STD 810G durability. It comes with quad rear camera setup with a fingerprint sensor. 

The device sports a  6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 394ppi. The mobile phone is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.

In terms of photos and videos, the device comes with a horizontally placed quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and lastly a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. 

LG Q61 boasts a 4,000mAh battery and the device runs on Android 10 OS. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will be hosting a special event on May 26 where it is going to introduce a brand new smartphone in the market under its sub-brand called Redmi 10X. Ahead of the launch, the device is now up for pre-booking via the website. Moreover, on the same day, the company will also introduce a bunch of more products such as Redmi TV series, and RedmiBook in China. On May 26 in India Xioami has planned to unveil its new true wireless (TWS) earphones. 

Xiaomi Global VP Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to announce the launch of its new true wireless earphones in India under its sub-brand Redmi. The company will be hosting an online launch event on May 26 that is going to be live-streamed across all its social media accounts via its official YouTube Channel to unveil Redmi TWS earphones. However, Mr Jain did not reveal that name of the product but it is speculated to be Redmi AirDots S earphones that were recently launched in China.

Xiaomi has also created a separate page to tease the arrival of its upcoming device in the Indian market. According to the page, the company is going to bring a wireless audio product that claims to deliver a longer battery life, is sweat and water-resistant along with low latency. The TWS said to come integrated with voice assistants that can be activated easily with just a click. With this one can easily set alarms as well as schedule meetings. All these hints point towards the company’s new true wireless earphones called  Redmi AirDots S.

Recently the company via tweet announced its entry into the audio space in India. The company also shared a 22 seconds short video suggesting that it is going to be a music-focused product.  All these teasers indicate that Redmi AirDots S is the company’s next audio device. Also, a NoStringsAttached hashtag also suggests the company’s next product is the Redmi TWS earphones.

To recall Redmi AirDots S TWS earphones were introduced in China in April. There it has been launched with a price tag of  CNY 100 that translates to Rs 1,100 and will be available in a single black colour variant. It is expected to arrive in India with similar competitive pricing in India to take on other audio products available in the market at affordable pricing. These earphones are powered by 7.2mm drivers and come with reduced latency mode for the better gaming experience. The device claims to deliver up to  12 hours of battery life. The audio device is IPX4 water resistance and weighs just 4.1g each.

Twitter brings new functionality to allow users to limit replies on their tweets

These days popular microblogging website Twitter seems engrossed in bringing new features to its website for better user experience. Recently it released scheduled tweet features on its platform. Now the company has announced that it is testing another new feature allowing the user more control over their twitter profile. This new feature will give access to the users to limit who can comment on their tweets. 

The social media giant Twitter announced this new development by sharing a short video giving a demo on how this new feature is going to work. Soon the company will bring reply permission settings that will allow its users to choose who can reply to their tweets. At the moment if a user posts a tweet, those who are following or not following the users are free to respond to their tweet. But now the company is working on adding new permission setting just under the tweet compose window allowing users to make a selection who can reply to that tweet. When the feature is released you will be getting three options, Everyone, People You Follow, and Only People You Mention. This functionality will be helpful to the users when they want to share a tweet with everyone but don’t want any unnecessary replies or hate replies. With this setting now everyone can view and like your conversation but only people you have permitted can reply. While announcing the feature the tweet reads, “Testing, testing… A new way to have a convo with exactly who you want. We’re starting with a small % globally, so keep your out to see it in action.”

At the moment the company has planned to roll out this feature to a limited number of users globally to iOS, Android and twitter.com as it is under development. However, there is no word from the company when it will be available for wider rollout but we think it will soon be released for all the users.

Earlier this year Twitter mentioned in a tweet that it is currently working on this feature for giving more control to the users over their conversations. The tweet reads, “We want to help people feel safe participating in the conversation on Twitter by giving them more control over the conversations they start. We’ll be experimenting with different options for who can reply to Tweets in early 2020.”

Currency Twitter only gives you an option to keep your profile private in order to limit replies from those who are not following the users or they can hide the replies. With the rollout of the new permission setting the company will be able to make conversations on its platform more personal and meaningful.

Twitter’s Director of Product Suzanne Xie in its blog said. “Tweets with the latter two settings will be labeled and the reply icon will be grayed out so that it’s clear for people if they can’t reply. People who can’t reply will still be able to view, Retweet, Retweet with Comment, and like these Tweets,”

Tecno Spark 5 by Transsion holding brand Tecno Mobile has been officially launched in India. In the country, the company arrived with only one device whereas earlier this month the company introduced two mobile phones Spark 5 and Spark 5 Air in Ghana. Spark 5 is the successor of Spark 4 that was launched in the market in September last year. The device made its India debut with an affordable price tag along with quad-camera set up and a punch-hole design display.

Tecno Spark 5 pricing as well as availability:

Tecno Mobile has been launched in a single RAM and ROM variant in India. The  2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage has been introduced with a price tag of Rs 7,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase via the offline retailer only. It is scheduled to go on sale starting May 25 and will be offered in two colour options  Ice Jadeite and Spark Orange.

Tecno Spark 5

On the purchase of the smartphone, the buyers will be offered 1-time screen replacement and 1-month extended warranty. In order to maintain social distancing, the company has made arrangements for doorstep delivery. All you need to do is click the link and enter your Pincode. After this, a list of outlets delivering the handset in your area will be generated. Interested ones can contact the outlet on the given number and the dealer will deliver the smartphone at your home.

Tecno Spark 5 specifications

Tecno Spark 5 runs on HiOS 6.1 on top of Android 10 OS. The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ hole punch design display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor combined with 2GB of RAM with  32GB of storage option. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with a Face unlock support for authentication. 

On the imaging front, Tecno Spark 5 features a quad rear camera setup that includes a megapixel main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor, a tertiary 2-megapixel macro lens and lastly an AI camera. The camera system supports modes such as AI bokeh mode and HDR mode. For taking selfies and videos, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with  f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash support.

In addition to this, the smartphone boasts a 5000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, there is 3.5mm audio jack, USB-Type C port, Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi. The sensor onboard includes an Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.

NASA’s SpaceX flight crew reaches Kennedy Space Center for May 27 liftoff

Ahead of the May 27 launch of NASA’s SpaceX flight, the crew members have reported to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to start final preparations for liftoff. NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are slated to lift off at 4:33 p.m. EDT on May 27 aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft carried by a Falcon 9 rocket. Mind you! This is the first launch of American astronauts from the US soil to the International Space Station (ISS) since the conclusion of the space shuttle era in 2011.

Before the final liftoff, the Demo-2 mission will serve as an end-to-end flight test to validate the SpaceX crew transportation system, from launch to docking to splashdown at the mission’s end. It is the final flight test for the system to be certified for regular, crew flights to the station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

Expressing thankfulness for the opportunity, Behnken said. “We view it as an opportunity, but also, a responsibility – for the American people, for the SpaceX team, for all of NASA – who put this opportunity together and entrusted us with it.”

On the other hand, Hurley mention that he was one amongst the four astronauts who landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida almost nine years ago in T-38s on July 4, 2011 to close out the Space Shuttle Program.

Asserting that it’s incredibly humbling to start out the next [crewed] launch from the United States, Hurley said, “I also want to thank the incredible men and women of SpaceX that have put so many thousands of hours of work into this rocket and spacecraft. We’re looking forward to getting up close and personal with Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon in just a few days.”

While welcoming Behnken and Hurley as they stepped off the NASA Gulfstream aircraft at the runway’s parking apron, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, who was accompanied with the center Director Bob Cabana, said, “This will be the fifth time in American history when we have launched American astronauts on a brand-new vehicle. We did it in Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, we did it with the space shuttles, and now we’re going to do it with a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon capsule; and it’s these gentlemen that are going to have the opportunity to pioneer once more for the United States of America.”

With this, Cabana recalled the last time astronauts arrived to prepare for launch from Kennedy – the STS-135 crew, including Hurley, who piloted space shuttle Atlantis on the program’s final flight. “It’s been almost nine years since July 4, 2011. That’s the last time a crew flew into the landing facility on their way to space. I can’t tell you how great it is to welcome Bob and Doug here for this historic mission,” added Cabana.
