During the development phase, the key challenge which the company came across was that the regular OLED panels are not transparent, in order for the under-screen camera to function, the pixel geometry and drive circuits corresponding to the display area directly above the camera sensor have to be redesigned to enhance light transmittance. Secondly, the display area above the camera was modified to increase transparency to ensure that the OLED display still delivers a level of quality consistent with the rest of the display.
Oppo said that it has developed a proprietary display control algorithm to effectively manage the brightness and colour difference so that the display area above the camera functions as well as the rest of the display. The next challenge was the under-screen camera image optimization so it has developed its own AI algorithms for anti-diffraction, AWB, and HDR to boost image quality captured using the USC with limited incoming light. Oppo has also trained its AI diffraction reduction model using tens of thousands of images to control problems caused by diffraction at the light source, allowing users to capture clearer, more natural-looking images.
For a consistent display quality, Oppo shrank the size of each pixel without decreasing the number of pixels to ensure a 400-PPI high-quality display even in the camera area. Also, it has given traditional screen wiring a transparent makeover. High-precision manufacturing engineering and a refined design have also reduced the width of the wiring by 50%, creating a smoother visual experience.
According to Oppo, the current industry standard in under-screen camera technology is for the 1-pixel circuit to drive 2 pixels (“1-to-2”) in the screen area above the camera, but this results in significantly poorer display quality for images and text. So the latest technology that the company has introduced uses its proprietary screen technology where each pixel circuit drives only 1 pixel (“1-to-1”), the chromaticity and brightness of the entire screen can be precisely controlled with a deviation of about 2%.
For reading e-books, browsing the news, or navigating with maps the under-screen camera technology lets the accurate display of smaller fonts and better preservation and representation of textural details and colours.

Dressed in charcoal black, the device will not turn heads but it has some nice curves that should get it some attention. The Legion logo (with VIGBYOR effect) and Lenovo branding can be seen on top of the LID. Open it and you are greeted with a large 15.6-inch nonglossy display. The display supports FHD graphics, 144Hz refresh rate and less than 3MS response time. It is also Dolby Vision-enabled and the peak brightness is set at 300nits, which we felt could have been better for gaming, but is fine for day to day use.
The keyboard on the Lenovo Legion 5 is backlit and is fairly large. The keys are good and respond well. Also, it has a NUM pad, so that is good. The power button is located above the keyboard and a decent size trackpad is placed below it. It does not come in the way when you are typing. Most of the ports are placed behind the machine. The only exceptions are the two USB 3.1 and the audio ports that can be seen on the right and the left. An Ethernet, 2 more USB 3.1, HDMI, power and USB Type-C ports can be seen on the backside of the machine along with the fan gills.
The Lenovo Legion 5 also comes with an HD webcam, which is placed above the screen. This comes with a privacy shutter and that is an A+ in our books. We played a lot of games on this laptop ranging from DOTA 2 to CS: Go to PUBG PC. The first two ran well, however, PUBG could only be played at medium settings and we did see few frame drops in the game. On the other hand, we quite liked watching YouTube videos and Netflix shows on the Lenovo Legion 5. Overall, the display experience was not the best but is darn good.
Lenovo Legion 5: Performance
Let’s quickly talk about the tech specs of the Lenovo Legion 5 laptop we are reviewing. This machine comes with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H series 3GHz CPU, which has 6 cores. So, it did make us feel at times, that we could have had better performance with 2 extra cores if it was an octa-core CPU. RAM is just 8GB, but one can upgrade it, so that is good. Over that, the gaming notebook comes with SSD and HDD combo. Users Get 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD inside. So storage is not much of an issue.
The graphics are powered by NVIDIA GTX 1,650 Ti graphic card. There is an option to upgrade to NVIDIA 2060, but for that, you would need to shell out more money. 2 into 2W Harman Kardon speakers are also there on the machine, which do a decent job. They are not super loud so for gaming, we do recommend you use your gaming headphones.
When working, the laptop does not get warm at all. It is quiet as a cat. But when you turn the cat into a tiger and enter the gaming mode, the fans are capable to make quite a racket. But that is because they are working overtime to keep the machine cool. And they do a good job. Yes, like all gaming notebooks the Lenovo Legion 5 also gets hot when gaming, but it cools down as quickly too. We always played games in a room with the AC on, so we did not feel it ever getting too hot.
The Lenovo Legion 5 comes with an 80Wh battery, which is claimed to last for 8 hours. But for us it lasted for under 6 hours, when not gaming. When gaming it drops down even further. Nonetheless, for the best gaming experience, you have to keep the charger connected, as then is when you get the best graphics and gaming performance.
Verdict
Lenovo Legion 5 comes with Windows 10 home, which we have been asking all the companies not to give in a gaming machine. The pro version is what everyone wants here, however that is not a deal-breaker. There is a bit of bloatware found on the machine, which can be uninstalled if the users want to.
The price tag of Rs 81,999+ is what will get you this machine from places like Reliance Digital. Well, that is the only thing that left us with a mixed bag of feelings. While we absolutely loved the game plus work features of the machine, we did feel the price can be lower. As the competition is giving better specs and features in this price range. All in all, a good machine for professionals, graphic designers, video editors, gamers and more, if you can look past the price.
Pro
Good display
Webcam privacy shutter
Good keyboard
Cons
Some might find the looks a bit plain

Speakers could have been louder

In This Article
AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones review: Design
AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones fall under the budget category featuring an ergonomic design. The build quality says it is more of a budget one and gives more of a plasticky feel. We used the white colour option, however, you can also go for a black variant, too. The device is bundled with an additional pair of silicone ear tips and a micro USB cable, required for charging.
The casing of the earphones is oval in shape, which has the company branding along with the model number on the top, whereas the lower side shows some details related to the charging capacity of the earbuds as well as the charging case. The micro USB port is given just below the hinge that fastens the edges of the casing. It has a magnetic casing. There is a small display between the two earphones that shows the battery percentage of the case. Both the buds contain LED indicators and as said, come with a plastic build.
There are physical buttons as well as inbuilt volume controls on both earbuds. The ear tips have mesh layering to protect them against dust. So no complaints from the build quality given the price point they are in.
AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones review: Performance
Coming to the performance side, AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones come with Bluetooth 5.1 support that assures better stability, but sadly the individual bud has mono mode support, which means there is no support for dual pairing. Talking about the waterproof rating the TWS earphones have IPX4 certification guaranteeing protection from water splashes and dust.
In terms of battery capacity, each bus equips a 38mAh battery, whereas the charging case comes with 200mAh inbuilt battery. According to the company, when these earphones are fully charged the earbuds deliver 6 to 8 hours of music time. However, during our testing, AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones could only deliver 3 hours of music time at 100 percent volume level, which is on the lower side.
The charging case is capable enough to charge the earphones three to four times over. AIWA claims that the TWS earphones can offer 24 to 30 hours of total music time. Unfortunately, the device is bundled with a micro-USB charging cable instead of Type-C support, which is its biggest drawback in today’s time. Also, it doesn’t support fast charging. In 10 minutes of charging it offers 26 minutes of music playback whereas these buds along with the casing take about 1.5 hours to get fully charged.
Coming to the most important aspect of AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones is their sound quality. The earphones come equipped with 8mm drivers that offer a good sound quality. But if you are a rock music lover then these earphones are not recommended because they lack a bit of thump, which one wants. Otherwise, for daily use, the bass, treble and vocal were above average and the device is loud enough. There is no touch support instead the earbuds come with physical buttons to access calls, volume and more.
The second most important department is the mic quality, AIWA AT-X80E TWS earphones have a single mic. The audio quality is just fine in a quiet room environment, but when you are outdoors the environment noise will be the first to reach the listener. Though the earbuds are lightweight, the design is not super comfortable as we felt these are slipping out of the ears.

- TAG: TAG stands for tight aggressive poker players. This stress-buster game can be played in various styles and the poker players going for this style are extremely selective when it comes to starting hands. They generally play 18 to 25% of the hands. In addition, they prefer to bet and raise rather than checking and calling.
- LAG: LAG or loose aggression displayed in poker games is played by a section of players with similar personalities. These characteristics are seen in losing poker players, but they generally end up earning more than TAGs.
- Rock: Rock is a tighter version of TAG. This is now commonly seen among online poker players. Rocks came into existence because of their resilience. They generally have solid decision-making power in terms of the amount they are spending.
- Maniac: These poker players are known as the hyper-aggressive versions of LAGs. They are liberal over bets, and their aggression is quite typical. They tend to play more than 30% of the starting poker hands. However, the same depends on the size of the game.

Gaming Style
Poker is a game of observation, and thus, a poker player’s playing style is to observe their natural tendencies. You also need to understand your opponent’s moves to win the games. Defining poker playing styles: Poker playing styles can be segmented into the following parts: tight, loose, passive, and aggressive. Generally, tight poker players play a small number of the best hands. Loose poker players often play with a wide range of hands. On the other hand, a player with passive nature will avoid confrontation and play with the fear of losing the game. At the same time, an aggressive player will raise more than the call, which is their general tendency. Aggressive players are not afraid to put chips at risk. If you observe your opponent’s move, you will easily categorize them and then strategize your entire game plan. To understand that, you first have to know if they’re tight or loose. Then, after you know about the same, you have to understand if they are passive or aggressive. Being a tight or loose player is beyond how someone plays their hand. The key to finding out is to observe every step with 100% focus. Pick up the tendencies and then only make your decision. If you are successful, classify them to one of the groups. What is the best poker playing style?

Telegram now increases its group call capacity to 1000, rolls out more features along with the new update
The group video calling feature will now allow 1,000 participants. So, it lets 30 users broadcast video from both their camera and screen – and now 1,000 people can watch anything from online lectures to live rap battles. Telegram promised to keep increasing this limit but as of now Group video calls now have up to a thousand viewers. To start a Group Video Call, create a Voice Chat from the info page (in the ⋮ menu on Android) of any group where you are an admin – then turn your video on.
Furthermore, Telegram now also allows the users to record video messages in higher resolution quality and can be tapped on for a larger view. Tapping on an expanded video message pauses it and gives you the opportunity to fast forward or rewind the message in case you missed a word. To do so tap the microphone icon in the message bar to switch from voice message recording to video. Press and hold to record, then tap the camera icon to switch back. The Audio from the device will keep on playing your recorded message so you can now sing along to your favourite songs or reply without pausing your podcast. In addition to this, recording with your rear camera will also allow you to pinch to zoom in and capture things at a distance or add a dramatic effect.
Adding more to this, the media player now supports 0.5x, 1.5x and 2x playback speeds. It allows you to press and hold the 2X button when playing voice or video messages to switch between 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x and 2x playback speed if you have an Android device. To change your video playback speed, tap ⋮ on Android or ⋯ on iOS when watching a video on fullscreen.
The user also gets the ability to simply press and hold on a timestamp (like 0:30 in the captions or replies to videos and YouTube links lets users jump to that exact second) in a message to copy the link and share the moment in another chat.
Also, the Telegram update brings the Screen sharing features to 1-on-1 calls as well. It lets you include sound from your device when broadcasting in any video call. According to the company switching on video during any call, you can swipe to choose a camera or share your screen instead — and use the video preview to make sure that everything is perfect before going live. To do so tap the camera button and select your screen as the video source.
Telegram has also rolled out new animations to make the passcode lock interfaces even snappier than before. If you’re using an animated background, it will also appear on the passcode lock screen. A new prompt in Settings has been brought to help you practice entering your Two-Step Verification password. Even if you forget your password there is a new password reset option that works even if you don’t have a recovery email. This is said to take 7 days and can be cancelled from any of your devices.
