The Chinese smartphone company, Oppo, today expanded its A series with the announcement of a brand new smartphone in India. The company has launched Oppo A16 as its latest addition to the series. The smartphone is a successor of the Oppo A15, which was introduced in India last year, The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and with an ‘Eye Care Display’ technology that lets you watch hours of your favourite entertainment without any visual discomfort.

Oppo A16 price in India has been set at Rs 13,990 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. The smartphone comes in two colour options of Crystal Black and Pearl Blue. Oppo A16 specifications and features

Coming to the specification Oppo A16 features a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. It comes with an Eye Care Mode that allows users to enjoy content with its sunlight and moonlight screens that dim and brighten automatically based on your ambient lighting conditions. Its ‘AI Smart Backlighting’ learns about your environmental conditions to provide you with a “customized” smart backlight experience. By turning your screen black while playing a video, you not only conserve battery but will also be able to use online video apps to stream music at the same time. The phone runs on ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with  4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Sony Alpha ZV-E10 comes with a lightweight form factor. The camera includes a side-opening Vari-angle LCD Screen that allows creators to connect external mics on top of the camera. This is beneficial while shooting in selfies mode and from high and low angles. Use dark mode

There will be a turn dark mode within the option on the bottom lower left of the screen.

There are many sensors in iPhones like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, which eat up a lot of battery when not in use and are still turned on. So we advise disabling them from the control centre to save up battery at times when the phone is on standby. Location services can be turned off by going to settings > Privacy > Location Services and turning off the toggle.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G India launch set for September 28
The South Korean smartphone manufacturer today announced to launch Samsung Galaxy M52 5G in India on September 28. The previous week, the company confirmed the existence of the new M-Series phone by listing it on Amazon.  The announcement comes just ahead of the upcoming Great India Festival Sale. It should be noted that the launch was earlier teased to happen on September 19, which happens to be an error.  Samsung took to Twitter to make the announcement that Samsung Galaxy M52 5G India launch is now scheduled to take place on September 28 instead of September 19.  The phone will be introduced on Amazon at 12 noon and is expected to be available for shopping on the same day of the launch or it might be available during the Great India Festival sale.   As per the listing, the Galaxy M52 5G will carry a 7.4mm sleek design. In addition to this, there will be a triple rear camera set up and stripe design on the back panel.  The black colour variant of the Galaxy M-Series phone is now being teased but devices according to leaked renders the phone may come in two more colour options- blue and white.  The leaked renders also revealed a small notch at the top centre of the front display. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that also doubles up as a power button and a volume up/down key.  Besides this Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is speculated to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+Super AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen could also have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.  It will run on One UI 3.1 based on top of Android 11. The device is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 6GB and 8GB RAM options paired with 128GB of internal storage.  For the optics, Galaxy M52 5G will feature a triple rear camera set up. The system is expected to house a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera.  Upfront it is rumoured to come with a  32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. On the connectivity front, the phone may include a 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The Samsung M52 is expected to have 164x76x7mm dimensions and will weigh approximately 175 grams. In terms of pricing Samsung Galaxy M52, 5G is listed to come with a price tag of PLN 1,749 that translates to Rs 32,900 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage options. According to the Polish retailer’s website, the 5G smartphone is likely to be available in Black, Blue, and White colour options. iQoo Z5 India launch teased, gets listed on Amazon
iQoo Z5 is set to launch in China on September 23. Followed by the launch in China the company is expected to bring the smartphone to India as well.  The phone has now been listed to Amazon indicating the imminent launch. Previously reports and the India pricing of the device was also leaked. But the company did not reveal any details about the phone’s launch in the country. But the latest teaser on e-commerce has put a stamp that the phone could launch in September only. According to old beliefs in China the number 4 is not considered auspicious so iQoo Z5 will be succeeding iQoo Z3 that was launched in India a few months back but the handset will first debut in China and then will make its way to the Indian market. The phone has been listed on Amazon to tease its availability in the Indian market. The landing page does not share any launch details but the Notify Me button has gone live. Amazon Great India Festival Sale is also around the corner so Vivo’s sub-brand is expected to launch iQoo 3 just before the commencement of the sale. So that the phone could be made available during the festival sale. 

iQoo Z5 specifications

As per the teaser iQoo Z5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. It is teased to offer LPDDR5 RAM and offer UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, the phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate hole-punch display with HDR 10, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut. The device will also include stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Additionally, the smartphone will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that is teased to offer  96 hours of music playback, 18.3 hours of video playback and 10.4 hours of gaming.

iQoo Z5 price in India(speculated)

Like we said before, the India pricing of iQoo Z5 was also tipped. According to a report the mobile phone is likely to be priced under the Rs 30,000 price segment in the country. Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is scheduled to launch in India on September 29. Just ahead of the official launch the price of Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India has been leaked. In addition to this, the colour option of the upcoming smartphone has also been tipped. As of now, the company has not revealed much information with regard to the phone’s pricing and specification but the latest leak confirms that the device will be made available in four colour options. Citing information from a tipster on Twitter (@Gadgetsdata) the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be available in three colour options of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB. The pricing is tipped to start at Rs 21,999. The price of the other two variants has not been disclosed yet. To recall, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE was introduced in Europe at EUR 349 which converts to Rs 30,300 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage model will be available at EUR 399 translating to Rs 34,600, however, insiders have told Gadget Bridge that the price of this variant can be lower than that in India (around Rs 30-31K). The company has not yet revealed the price of 8GB RAM with a 256GB configuration. OnePlus has rolled out a new update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users. The new XPan Mode comes through an OTA update that will allow users to create photos similar to Hasselblad Camera. We already know that this year’s OnePlus Series gets the benefit of Hasselblad’s partnership with the company. But the latest update will extend the supports of the 35mm set up along with the ability to switch to full panorama mode.  The news comes by way of a forum post by OnePlus which says, “We’re so excited to finally bring this update to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users. With this upcoming OTA update, in addition to multiple regular system optimizations, we also greatly improved the camera performance for its Hasselblad Camera for Mobile – including the brand new XPan Mode and multiple image quality optimizations.” The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro used will get a new XPan Mode which is co-developed by OnePlus and Hasselblad. The new feature will allow users to recreate the classic experience of Hasselblad XPan in a smartphone. This includes the unique 65:27 aspect ratio, two different focal lengths (30mm and 45mm) just like the original XPan, a special animation of developing negative film, and two colour profiles – an updated colour mode and a unique B&W simulation of the classic ILFORD Delta 400 film.   XPan Mode by Hasselblad for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro According to the company, the XPan Mode was popular in the mid-1990s where cameras used the 35 film system but later on, the entire camera industry had begun the transition to a new era of digital imaging. Also, people are increasingly interested in this aspect ratio. Therefore portable cameras that could take “wide-format” photos became more and more popular. But the format only covered the upper and lower parts of an image, and by using cropping it produced a wide photo.  But now the XPan mode on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro cameras are presented in black and white by default, restoring the tone and style of the classic black and white film “Ilford Delta 400”. This feature is suitable for photo shooting of different subjects, whether it is portraits, street photography, or architecture, with comfortable, high-quality performance. The colour profile of XPan has also been improvised giving a more lifelike image quality. The feature also allows shooting with colour, and users can choose two focal lengths: 30 mm and 45 mm, corresponding to the classic 30 mm and 45 mm lenses of Hasselblad XPan cameras. Moreover, photos taken in this mode will carry a photo ratio of 65:24 (about 2.7:1), which is completely different from the traditional 3:2 or 4:3 photo ratio and will look like an ultra-wide movie. It will also let you create new photo forms such as “three stories in one photo” and “cutting the main picture into three parts”. The XPan Mode will also use a 65:24 ratio on the OnePlus 9 Series to offer a border field of view and brand new composition ideas. When users shoot in XPan mode, they can still get a picture of about over 20MP, with a 30 mm focal length of 7552 × 2798 resolution and a 45 mm focal length of 7872 × 2916 resolution. The interesting part is when the user presses the shutter, the frozen picture will first be presented as a negative film, and then it will turn into a normal photo and be saved on the phone. OnePlus has tried to give the feel of the ritual of film development. Besides this, the OTS update will also optimize HDR frame retrieving algorithms and reduce noise in multiple scenes while fixing the over-sharpening issues in some scenarios in auto-mode. The update will also improve the stability of the auto white balance. Optimized auto white balance shift between the main and ultra-wide cameras and reduced the over-brightening of photos taken in Nightscape mode in some scenarios, for more natural night photos. Dynamic range in low-light conditions has also been improved. The tweet reads, “The slimmest and the lightest 5G Smartphone of 2021 is coming home, in a NEW avatar. We’re bringing the all-new #Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G to India on 29th September.” The company has also created an Event page where the key highlights of the smartphone have been showcased.  To recall the smartphone is one of the three devices which debuted in the European market recently. The company recently launched SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger 15W here and we spent some time with it to understand the product better. So what is this device all about?

The device comes neatly tucked in a foam shell and the box includes the circular wireless charging plate, a long USB Type-C charging cable and a charging adaptor. All of which looks very well built and sturdy. The charging plate has a USB Type-C charging port as well as a LED light. This glows when you place a device on it. The face of the SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger plate also has a circular rubber pad on it, around the edges, so that your smartphone does not get any scratches. So before buying you will also need to check if your smartphone can charge wirelessly. We tested the SanDisk Ixpand wireless charger with various devices including OnePlus 9, Apple iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones. The charging was seamless with all the devices. 15W charge supply is what the wireless charging plate provides, which is one of the fastest in current wireless charging standards. We were able to charge the iPhone 11 from 0-100% in under 3 hours. The OnePlus 9 took additional 30 minutes since the battery size is much larger. Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton has rolled out the new September update. Update 1.6 brings Flora Menace, exclusive features and lifelike game dynamics to BGMI. The new update is being released in a staged manner and will be available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store in a few days. While announcing the rollout the company said, “with the introduction of Flora Menace, special features and realistic game dynamics in version 1.6 rolling out on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The OnePlus 9RT is the company’s most anticipated upcoming smartphone which is in the news again. It has been leaked several times and has not reportedly received certification from the China Compulsory Certification. After it has acquired the 3C certification the alleged device is speculated to hit stores in India and China in the coming weeks.  Before this, the phone was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website which therefore confirmed the imminent launch in the country. According to a report, the OnePlus 9RT has appeared on the China Compulsory Certification authority with a model number MT2110. The device is expected to launch in India as well as in China in October. A few weeks back the alleged handset was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) with a similar model number which has received the 3C certification from the Chinese authority.  The price and the specification of the OnePlus 9RT were also leaked previously. According to the leaked information the phone might be offered in two different configurations of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage which is expected to be priced at CNY 2,999 that is roughly around Rs 34,200. Whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model is said to come with a price tag of  CNY 3,299 which converts to Rs 37,600. Speaking of the specifications, the alleged phone is likely to feature a  6.55-inch Samsung E3 full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. OnePlus 9RT is tipped to come with 120Hz refresh rate support along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Additionally, the smartphone will run on OxygenOS 12 on top of Android 11. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is probable that the OnePlus 9RT will include a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor along with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel black and white sensor. For selfies, it may include a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor on the front. It is quite possible that the upcoming OnePlus phone would ship a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The device is also tipped to get NFC support along with dual-speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an X-axis linear motor. Many gamers use unfair means to beat out other players while playing mobile games, therefore, undermining the overall experience. They use lots of legitimate methods that not only impact the gameplay but they use tricks to extract data used in the games. So to curb cheating, the developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has announced strict measures for illegal programs and activities. Recently Krafton has also banned more than 140,000 accounts that used illegal programs. BGMI developer Krafton has released countermeasures for illegal programs and activities that affect the rate of gameplay. As per the official blog post, Battlegrounds Mobile India has identifier new types of illegal programs and activities recently and will be taking strict measures to stop them from violating the gaming standards game.  “Battlegrounds Mobile India will continue to take strong sanctions to eradicate the use of illegal programs in order to provide a pleasant gaming environment to all the fans who play in a normal way.” Now the gamers will get a warning message even if they have now used an illegal program, data that is judged to be an illegal program (data falsification, etc.) may have been detected through installing other apps without being aware of it. In that case, they can precede the  Routine Repair in the login screen to convert the data back to normal. But if the gamers have installed Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) app other than the official markets, (Google Playstore, Apple App Store) you may install an abnormal app that has falsified some data. Or if they have installed illegal programs or untrusted auxiliary programs on their device, using a rooted or jailbroken device,  use another player’s account or when abnormal data is detected a warning message will pop up on their screen the developer could take strict measures like account ban could be taken. So the installed app should be downloaded from an official channel only.  In another case, if you are not using any illegal means on Battlegrounds Mobile India and still a warning message pops up on your screen then you may opt for a Routine Repair in the login screen to convert the data back to normal. To do so tap on the arrow at the bottom right corner of the lobby. Then go to SETTINGS > Basic > Tap Log Out at the bottom left corner > Tap Repair in the login screen > Check Routine Repair and OK. After following these mentioned steps your account’s abnormal data will be replaced with normal data and you could log in again and play the game as usual. When you choose not to proceed with the Routine Repair, the security system will detect the abnormal data in your device and logins will not be possible.
